It was highly recommended by the locals and I ended up ordering my favourite crispy calamari. It was epic! With deep fried aloo fries. Couldn’t have expected anything more!
What can I say, when price is inversely proportional to the taste of a dish. This I am saying in a positive way. The food is cheap and just too good.
We were 5 people and ordered some 6-7 dishes and paid just 1.5k along with beers and cold drinks.
Just too good.
Anand Restaurant is a good place to try Goan seafood specialties in the evening and Fish Thali during the lunch hours.

A very basic and humble restaurant with the most amazing sea food. Always busy so might have to wait for a seat. It’s not fancy but if you love sea food, don’t miss this gem. The pricing is very reasonable too.
Still as good as before. Tried the butter garlic squid and bombil rawa fried both were good and in good measure but the pricing is a mystery. Good and recommended. Ended
The place has really gone up from what it was. Ac room is also added which is a blessing if u go for lunch. But food is lip smacking. Must try. Do not miss the pomfret masala fry n the chonak rava fry. Fishes are fresh. Mutton Sukha is to die for!! Absolute brilliance. Forget the big names in Goa n try out these local treasures. You won’t regret it

Order the fish thali and a side of prawns. Also order all the sea food that you can. Try the prawn rechado. Fish Thalis are the best!!! Big big pieces of.seer fish. Somehow always feels like so close but still not totally satisfied. Just a little bit more effort and it would be great. Still a legend and price is amazing! Poro service takes forever to get your order placed.
One Of My Favourite Place Near Anjuna Beach To Enjoy Authentic Goan Food! The Place Is Really Damn Amazing and Pocket Friendly! Even The Alcohol Is Too Cheap! They Need To Work On The Service Alot! Visited This Place On Thursday Afternoon Then Too This Place Was Full! They Ambience Is Quite Simple Tho! The Service Is Very Slow So I Suggest You To Order All At A Time! Now Coming To The Food
Prawns Rawa Fry (5/5) Highly Recommended
Big Fresh Prawns Fried To Perfection! Just You Might Face The Problem That The Tails Are Not Removed! But Yes The Prawns Were Super Damn Tasty! Cost is Around 400 but yes it's Worth It!
King Fish Fry (5/5)
King Fish Is Basically Surmai In Marathi! 2 Big Fresh Pieces Of Surmai With Goan Masala Were Too Damn Tasty!
Chicken Cafreal (4.5/5)
This Dish Totally Depends On Person To Person! This Dish Was Included In Main Course But The Gravy is Too Less! Won't deny the fact That the taste was something different, Just Loved It!
Prawns Goan Curry + Rice (5/5) Highly Recommended
This is One Of The Best Combination Ever Had! Goan Curry Was Just Damn Amazing! Would Surely Visit This Place Again For Goan Prawns Curry!
Great Place To Enjoy Goan Food!
Hope They Improve Their Service!
This is the best Goan food we’ve eaten! Prawn fry / masala calamari and crabs were outstanding
About seafood, Add this restaurant in your checklist. The food here is delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked/fried. A typical family and friends restaurant.
About vegetarian food, found a few starters bit oily though the taste was good.
Truly the best place in Goa the view of the fields
The best curry it’s so yum every time I visit goa I come here. I used to come to Anand even before they renovated the staff is so nice. I’m sad they don’t serve curry at night though
One of my best place for authentic goan curry fish ❤️
Anand Bar & Restaurant is one of favourite and go to place for some good sea food every time I visit Goa. The catch is always fresh and the service prompt.
It’s a proper no frills local joint so don’t expect anything fancy. Nestled in between the main road and a field, this place has a simple setting of a few tables and plastic chairs. Food is served in steel plates but the taste is what it is all about.
I always have the Prawns, Mussels, Chonak which is my standard order and of course the Thali if there’s any room left after all the fry sea food. I’ve also tried the Bombil fry and Prawn Xacuti here. The fish fry no matter which has always been fresh and fried to a perfect crisp. Here’s a bit more in detail of what I’ve tried here.
Prawns fry – 8 to 10 pieces of big sized prawns served whole from head to tail and coated with some masala and rava, fried to a crisp. I love that they keep the head, as most of the juice is in it so I thoroughly enjoy the prawns here.
Mussels fry – My favourite, unfortunately not found in Bombay. A must try in Anand when available. Fried with rava, they keep it simple so that you can taste all he goodness of the mussels.
Chonak fry – Again, extremely fresh and crisp fried. Another must have dish here.
Bombil fry – I never order Bombil in Goa considering we get the freshest catch in Bombay. But since my friends ordered it, I tried these and they were surprisingly extremely fresh. I recommend having these here too.
Prawns Xacuti – A good main course to end your meal. You can have this with bread, roti etc. to soak up all the Xacuti gravy.
Thali – The thali is a simple fare and comes with a fish fry (depends on what’s available), rice, curry and a vegetable. A filling meal at an absolute bargain price.
I strongly recommend visiting this place. Word of advice though, head here early as they usually have a long wait time the later you reach.
Taste – 5/5
VFM – 4/5 (slightly expensive for modest dining setup)

It's a local restaurant which in my eyes is the Best value for money restaurant. Good portion size at an amazing price. The server was really helpful to reduce the spices in the food for us.
Go for the food and portion size and not the ambience or service (which isn't bad that bad).
Ordered
Chilli Chicken 4/5 (extra .5 for the portion size and price)
King Fish in rechard sauce 5/5
Prawn masala fry 5/5
You definitely get the local food taste with economical pricing. can't ask for more.
If you want authentic Goan seafood then Anand is the place for it... I had the best fish thali and king fish fry there.. and will definitely visit every chance I get
Well known for its seafood in Goa..I loved the food..I tried the Rawa Fry Prawns..Which was good..big prawns..tried the Rawa Fry fish which was good too ...Fish thali was amazing...the chicken cafreal was the highlight of this place..it was amazing..place is reasonably priced..n usually crowded..they've indoor n outdoor seating..must visit when in Goa
The best place if you want to try goan preparations like rava fries and rechaedos etc. a must try!
A shack like place located on the way to Anjuna. The restaurant is packed during the peak hours. They serve amazing Masala Prawns. A must recommended dish. Chonnak Rawa Fry tastes delicious with rice and some sort of curry. Fish Thali is also decent. The prices have increased over the course of time.
Seafood paradise in short. The place serves some authentic sea food and is very well known for its taste. Chose to visit on a busy weekend. Had to wait and share tables for my meal but worth the wait.
If you are into seafood, definitely give it a visit. Staff can be a lil clingy at first but they do the job very well.
Ordered a combination of Fry Prawns, Promphet, Surmai. Was very economical, considering the hyped sea food prices across goa.
The taste is something to die for. Highly recommended Surmai Rawa Fry.
On this trip, we had consciously decided to stay away from poultry and meat as much as we could and devour the mouthwatering seafood that the place has to offer.
So this was one of the recommended place and we headed for a lunch.Busy eatery , fast service and awesome food is what defines this place. We had ordered a fish Thali, Prawn Masala Fry, Kingfish Rawa fry, and few cocktails to go along with. The Thali had a mix and match of veggies and fish curry .I loved the fish curry with a hint of coconut and the clam curry. Prawn Curry gave us all the reasons to come back , it was sheer love. The rawa fish was fresh and fried to crisp made for a great starter. The hosts took great care to make sure we have a good time. The pocket pinch was pretty moderate.
Do visit this place if Seafood is your calling and you will not regret it.
.
We happen to reach this place by chance, when we stopped by for shade during a downpour. Looking at the size of the crowd we decided to try our hands here. We ordered Calamari and Pomfret and both dishes were good. However i felt it was a lil pricey.
The prawns(Rawa) were good but not that great . The quantity was great for 350-370bucks it had 9 good sized prawns but quality was not that great . Maybe a one time try and not a repeat type. You can go for rawa fish , masala prawn and tandoor items . I saw everyone having rawa fish .
Here you can have the best seafood in Goa in reasonable rates...
One of my friend suggested me this place for seafood so when I visited to Goa I thought I should try this place and it was a great restaurant with a good seafood taste the ambiance is ok staff are friendly and food is very good, must try dishes are prawns rawa fry, king fish rawa fry, butter Chicken, crab butter garlic.
One of the destination which I don't miss to go whenever I visit Goa..Yummy sea food at reasonable price what else you want, there prawns curry and rice is is super delicious..
Staff is also good..
During my recent mini vacay to Goa which happened to be an impromptu plan and fortunately it worked out….I made sure to have lunch/dinner at some of the most iconic and hidden gem restaurants. Anand Sea food restaurant and Bar is one of the budget friendly and worth visiting restaurants. Once we had done with the sight-seeing at chapora fort we headed directly at Anand. Though the kitchen was about to close but the attendants made sure we are provided with all the dishes ordered by us. So we ordered the below lip smacking dishes.
Food:
1> King Fish Rawa Fry
2> Pomfret Rawa Masala Fry
3> Goan Chicken Chilly
Drinks:
1> Budweiser
Food – 5/5
Drinks – 5/5
Service – 4.5/5
Ambience – 3/5
Overall don’t look for the ambience just focus on the food as it is soul satisfying…
I can say the best sea food you can have in Goa ..... fingerlicking fish , We had ordered King Fish(350) 2 pieces, Prawns Fry Rs 330 , Squids Masala(Rs 300) 2 Non veg thali - For 130 each, Corona beer Rs 150 each.
Service is prompt, ambience is Great,
Only 1 thing i didnt liked was the squid masala , it was little sour, instead of that you can try squid fry.
Service- 5/5
Ambience- 4/5
Food- 4.9/5 (Just for Squid i rated 0.1 less)
Value for money 5/5
A must- visit place for all seafood lovers! The restaurant is always crowded because of its good food and reasonable pricing. The ambience is good, but nothing tacky.Ordered a fish thali, chicken xacuti along with some naans and prawn masala fry.The thali was superb and so was the chicken dish. The prawn masala was the best I have ever had! An outstanding meal!
This place is a must visit for true Seafood lovers! Seafood is always fresh and the flavours authentic Goan. Although the Fish Thali's are the best here, do give the Prawn Rawa Fry, Mussels Rawa Fry & Chicken Xacuti a try..
One of the best places for an awesome sea-food experience. The low priced menu rates tops it off. Must visit restaurant on your Goa to-do list.
One of the restaurant for great sea food. All dishes are in reasonable price. Ambiance is not wow but look like old goa. Try tiger prawns, Pomfret masala famous dishes. Must try.
If you are in Goa,then seafood is a must try.We asked few locals about places where good seafood is served and was suggested Anand Seafood.
The place was very crowded. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.
We ordered fish thali and Oyster fry.
Oyster fry was excellent.Nicely cooked with nice flavours blended properly in the batter.
Fish thali was good.Quantity was enough for enough.Curries tasted good.
In Goa we do find sea food in every nook and corner. And each place has its own uniqueness.Especially street sides.
Overall one could visit Anand Sea food if you are near Chepora Fort or Vagator beach. This is one famous place to try some sea food.
P.S. This place is very crowded,so the waiting time is more and might take some time for them to serve food. But it's worth a wait
One of local bar and restaurant situated in Goa situated in the outskirts serves one of the best seafood in a reasonable price.. It's almost crowded during weekends.. The seafood served over here is delicious ,tasty and fresh...Fish thali Is served is very good and especially the crab masala served is yummy worth the price... If ur in Goa suggest to try this place
Excellent dear food at Anand. While the masala Chonak was a little too spicy for me, I will still give this place a 5 star. I specifically liked the Rava squid and Prawn curry a lot.
Every year that I travel to Goa, there are different restaurants we try. Anand is our constant. Our all time favorite is chonak and prawn rava fry.
We took parcel , Dal fry , steamed rice and Pomfret fry. A medium size pomfret was for 400₹. Quantity served was okay. Very reasonable price for the quality of food. Sea food was fresh & very tasty.
If you're looking for some super awesome seafood in a super reasonable price, then this is the place for you! The food is absolutely on point. One of the best places in Goa!
Devouring 😛 seafood has to be on your agenda if you are visiting Goa (ofcourse, if you are a non-vegetarian). It was on our list and one of our friends had suggested us this place on the way to Anjuna beach. It is a small house, converted into a restaurant and is surrounded by farms. Despite being in an isolated area, it was crowded & we had to wait for a while to get a seat.
We had spotted a platter of Masala Prawns 🍤🍤on one of the tables while we were heading for our table and immediately decided to try that preparation. In addition, we opted for a Tandoori Pomfret 🐟
Prices were in proportion to the quantity served. I would rather say, they were reasonable.
🍽️ Prawns Masala - It was the best dry masala preparation of prawns I've ever had till date! Fresh prawns coated with perfect blend of masala which did not overpower the real taste of juicy prawns 🍤🍤. I must it was literally finger licking good ( and I did that 🤣) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🍽️ Tandoori Pomfret - Apart from the use of fresh fish, another thing which I look for in the tandoori preparation is perfectly charred fish without losing the juiciness which tends to happen if tandoori preparations are not done well. The fish was juicy, had a nice smokey flavour and a hint of tanginess of the tandoori masala 🐟. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a must try place if you are vising Goa! Hoping to try more from this place in my next visit to Goa 😍
PS: My mouth was watering so much while writing this review 🤣🤣
Ordered fried crispy prawns and fish thali
Prawns were very good no doubt and almost every table had ordered that
But I didn't liked fish thali
I and my wife were hungry and were looking for options on Zomato.
We found this place in the recommended sections and had a great rating.
We reached the place and ordered their special fish thali.
They have a concept of fish thali which consists of small portions of multiple fish and is pocket-friendly. The thali costs us 150rs. It had 2 pcs of fish fry, shell curry, one veg sabji, roti, rice, and fish curry.
A fish thali at this price was a steal and worth the hype.
Anand sea food restaurant specializes in fresh sea food dishes with a spacious outdoor seating and a limited A/c seating. The ambience is basic, and tends to get hotter during the summers. The pricing was reasonable with satisfying quantity. The seasonal seafood dishes are priced as per the season, so make sure you ask for the rates, as it is not mentioned on the menu. The place gets really crowded during the lunch hours. The service was surprisingly quick, considering the number of customers present.
.
Coming to the food, we ordered the prawns masala, mussel rava fry and crab Xacuti with naan. The prawns masala was scrumptious with moderately sized fresh prawns marinated in delicious masala making it spicy, tangy and palate pleasing serving two to four people.
.
The mussel rawa fry were crunchy and delicious, but the portion size was less compared to the pricing.
.
The crab xacuti was my favorite. The coconut based gravy was delicious, combined with the flavours of the fresh crab and goan spices. The quantity was satisfying and serving two to four individuals.
.
So if you are up for some fresh seafood, this place is worth a try.
If you are goa and if you are a sea food lover than this is definetly a place you should not miss. This place is the connisour of sea food.
They serve some amazing fresh sea food with so much of variety to it.
Specials:
Tiger prawns
Surmai fry
Ravas fry
The rate’s are pretty decent at this place. The service is fast and this place is never empty.
A must visit place for all the sea food lovers. This place offers the best seafood in Goa at pocket friendly prices. Must try would be the fish thali, pompret fish rava fry and king fish , prawns rava fry. This place is closed on Mondays. Mostly crowded and have to wait for a while to get a table... But the wait time is definitely worth it.
The moment we stepped out of our car we were tempted by the food because the smell itself was so good and strong.Had a very satisfying Goan meal
Must visit for fish lovers. They have a load variety of seafood in multiple styles.. seating is indoor and outdoor with shaded roof. Must try there surmai curry and chonok fry with naan.
Good place for local sea food. The thali was good with a nice piece of fried fish. The curry too was tasty and went well with the rice. Overall a nice experience.
If u r in Goa and love seafood. It's a must n obligatory place to visit to cherish the goan delicacy. Me n my wife enjoyed the kingfish rawa fry,Squid masala fry. Butter garlic prawns was not at all good for which I m taking out 1*.
Wanted to eat more but we were full with these two Dishes.
I will be back for more......
If You Staying Outstate Of Goa And Finding For Best Goan Seafood Restaurant Then This Is The Place Where You Can Full Fill The Hunger Of Your Tummy. The Place Located In Vagator As Well As Near By Anjuna. Separated In Two Section Outside Dining And Another One Is Inside Dining Where You Can Find AC Section Also. Now About The Food In Starter We Ordered Chefs Special “Prawns Rawa Fry” I Never Seen The Crispy Prawns Like This In My Food Journey. After That Was Ordered The “Crab Xaguti” Which Is The Traditional Recipe Of Goan Food Culture. So Overall Very Wonderful Experience With This Place.

This is a very simple quaint place which serves some of the best fish fry in Goa.The prawns fry and the mackerel rechado are to die for.located centrally this place shouldn't be missed on your visit to Goa for some awesome fish delicacies.Ambience is ordinary but the delicious food makes up for it.
Visited this beautiful place Goa and came to know about this awesome place, this was the best place of all the places from where we had food.
Their fish fry and Chinese were so yummy, you can enjoy real Goan curries from here. The best thing the cost was cheap.
The only regret we had, we visited this place at our last day of the trip.
Worth a visit guys!!
One of the best seafood restos i've ever visited!!
Very near to Anjuna beach... Extremely fresh Fish nd prawns available on the menu at quite reasonable rates!!
Loved the Prawns Chilly and Chicken Cafreal is a must try here!!
A must visit nd totally recommendable place when at Anjuna!!
This place serves tasty food and they were pocket friendly.
Things I would recommend would be their prawns dishes, xaucuti chicken curry and squid rawa masala fry.
The squid masala fry was a treat to the taste buds.
For seafood lovers, this is one of the best places to visit. We ordered their prawn curry, squids butter garlic fry, pomfret rava fry and steamed rice. Prawn curry was tasty and spicy and goes really well with the rice. Squid and pomfret was cooked well and tasty.
Must go here!!! If you want to just eat a complete satisfying meal, this is the place to go! Went for the Goan Fish Curry and Rice. It was outstanding. And squid, prawns, fish fry. All were served hot. And everything was so delicious!
You know if there are locals visiting any restraunt it got to be good. Amazing Goan sea food and full value for money. Fish Thali and fried prawns are a must try
Awesome place for all seafood lovers. Had rawa masala fry Tiger Prawns and masala fry pomfret both were amazing. Even the chickem cafriyal served here was authentic and yummy...
Anand has the best seafood in town...the jumbo prawns are best thing on their menu....even the butter garlic squid is absolutely lip smacking...however they need some improvisation in their cocktails department...too much sugar in most of their cocktail preparations...overall a fantastic restaurant...
This is a great seafood place and it's pocket friendly too. Ambiance is pretty decent and simple. We ordered prawns rawa fry(must try), mussels rawa fry(good), golden fried squid(okayish, bit chewy), chicken crispy(good), chicken lollipop (crisp, good), lepo rawa fry(crisp, good), Fish thali(good, nothing extraordinary, kingfish was tasty), chicken fried rice(good). We ordered so many items and it cost us less than 2k. Seafood lovers should definitely try this place!!
One of the best seafood restaurants on the planet
Fresh , cheap , friendly vibe and excellent service
Can’t fault it
A must do whenever I’m in Goa
The best retaurant in north goa for sea food period.
Food : It is famous for sea food and it didn't disappoint. We ordered Prawns fry , Prawns Curry ,Rotis, Fish thali and lemonade. Prawns fry were too good. Prawns curry came in huge quantity. It was too much literally. Then they gave us their local fish as complimentary over a drink.
In veg we ordered fried rice, Rotis and mixed veg. Drinks are cheap which obvious in goa.
Quality : Just amazing.
Ambience : Pretty simple yet cool ambience. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is better and feels better to have food in a little breeze of air.
Price : Best part is this. Rates are pretty affordable and pocket friendly.
Note: The place is always crowded especially during christmas. So make sure to go little early to have some finger licking sea food.
It's not often that I give a 5-star review to a restaurant with shady decor and questionable ambience, but that's just how good the food at Anand is.
To be clear, this is not gourmet dining or anything close to it. It's just good old-fashioned local food, cooked to perfection and dripping with flavour.
Just about everything we ordered was amazing. Both the kinds of fried surmai (rava and masala), the fried mussels and the prawn curry were spot on. But what took the cake was the fried prawns, which were unmistakably super-fresh and unbelievably super-delicious.
The only slightly underwhelming dish was the dry crab, but I've never been a great fan of crab anyway so in my book that wasn't even a negative.
I'll probably never get tired of gorging on fancy food in upmarket restaurants, even in no-frills places like Goa. But every once in a while, it is imperative to get your hands dirty and indulge in the local cuisine in all its unpretentious glory.
And that's just what Anand delivers.
When you are in Goa and wanna explore Goan food this is the place to hit........❤️Started with prawn to Goan thali...... everything was tasty....and pocket friendly........so before you leave Goa try out this food........
Nd have food under open place❤️😍
Who wouldn't want to try sea food in Goa?
So we too decided to visit Anand restaurant for lunch and I fell in love with the food.
The place was crowded during the lunch time but we did manage to get a seat as soon as we reached.
We ordered Butter naan with butter chicken, crab masala and king fish masala fry.
Butter chicken was lip smacking I've never liked butter chicken but after eating it here I think I'll have to start trying them more often just one con about it was the pieces were very less we got around 4 small tiny pieces which was a bit disappointing.
Coming to the crab what do I even tell about it, it had the perfect taste, spicy and definitely not to be missed if you know how to eat crab then you can enjoy it and eat as you like.
The king fish this was heaven the taste was ultimate, perfectly cooked spicy masala ehuch is not over cooked, fresh and tender fish out lunch couldn't get any better.

If you're heading to Goa don't miss this place.
Ambience 4/5
Service 4/5
Food 5/5
Value for money 4.5/5
Overall 4.5/5
Pocket friendly...might have waiting... Rawa fry prawns were served cold and the coating felt heavy... Masala king fish had two good sized pieces and the marinade was delicious... Prawn curry was coconut based yellow curry... Not too spicy but tasty... But the prawns were not deveined... this might be a turn off for some. This place has a strong fish odour so not recommended for vegetarians. But sea food lovers definitely go for it...
This was the best rated place for goan cuisine and specially sea food. It is a simple place with simple dining experience. We went here almost during the closing hours but did manage to get some really good food. I must say I had the best prawn masala fry of my trip here. They were not so pricy either. So that was great! The drawback here again was that the servers were very impatient and rude, may be because it was closing hours. But otherwise it was a good place to be in.
Yummy food superb prawns and vfm fish thali. Must visit on a trip to North Goa.
Anand done up recently and ambience is even better than it use to be

Best seafood restaurant in goa.
This place is located in anjuna gps helps in navigation and locating the place.
The place has ample parking space for two and four wheelers.
The ambience is very minimal and neat and definitely not a fancy fine dine space.
They serve amazing sea food along with liquor .
The pricing is reasonable as well
Here is a list of what i tried and would recommend
1) prawn rawa fry
2) king fish masala fry
3) fish thali
4) goan style prawn curry(too good and authentic)
This time on the Goa trip , I had decided to visit as many places as I can associated with Great Food . Stay in W hotel , I decided to visit Anand Seafood tho their was mix reviews .
Food : Most of the reviews I found that Food has been the secondary choice of people while rating it . For me , it comes first .
We had ordered for Tandoor King Fish and I have no words to rate it . It was just awesome . Not over cooked , perfectly smoked and tasted just brilliant.
As not satisfied with it , we ordered for Surmai masala fry , and this too was just perfect . Size of the fish was also very much too the standards . We also had ordered for the Thali which consisted of a piece of Rawa fry and gravy with local fish . Actually wat I most liked was the taste of the local fish . It was brilliant... overall food experience was excellent.
Ambience: it’s a typical Khanawal ( Marathi word for place where u get home cooked food ) . Neat and clean . Actually who cares for ambience when you are served just amazing food .
Service : People are quite friendly and the service is up to the mark . No waiting period wat so ever .
Over all a super experience..
I would have given it 5 stars, if it weren't for the ambience. We went at about 7:30pm. It was dingy, and we could only see some thugs as patrons. We still went into the small AC Ante room and there were some couples in there. The lighting was still very dim, quite unbecoming of a highly rated restaurant. The food was really nice though. The Fish Curry rice was spicy, but well made, as was the rava/ tawa fried fish. Even the noodles we ordered was surprisingly good. Very good value for money, but the ambience and amenities need major overhauling
A place which literally lives up to the hype!!
The place gets really crowded on weekends and season times.
Location is awesome as it is on a main road and hard to miss
Ample parking space is provided for car and bikes.
The ambience isn’t all that great it’s minimal and clean
The service inspire of being so crowded was up to the mark
We ordered for some beers which wer served cold !
The seafood is the speciality here so we ordered for
1) prawn rawa fry: quantity was awesome for rupees 300 also the prawns wer fresh(tiger prawns)
2) king fish masala fry: for INR 450 this was a steal! Huge slices of king fish masala fried to perfection and served fresh
3) prawn curry: rupees 180 ,pair this up with white rice and this a to go comfort food made Goan way!
4) prawn fried rice; inr 180 the quantity was way too much and huge and can be easily shared by 2 people.
Also their thalis are trending and looked good as they wer on most of the table.
Must visit place when in Goa!
Highly recommended!!
A beautiful place to be. If you love fish then you should not miss this restaurant.
Waiting for your seats is a pain, but other wise, service is fast, fresh fish, meals, and all that you need to enjoy a meal.
We also ordered a veg thali, which was not the best.
The place is for non veg and fish, so the best is to visit if the plan is for that.

Anand is a great place for some good seafood and with good drinks. The king fish, Prawn tava fry was super tasty. The Special Bailey, and the fruit punch was good too. The service was quick and were ready to suggest what to try. The place is usually packed to the brim for lunch. The prices here are economical compared to the one ones in Goa and has a great choice of food and drinks. Must try in North Goa.
This place offers yummy food with sufficient quantity but is highly crowded and you have to wait for a while if you reach a little late. Also being crowded the number of waitors are less and you have to wait a long time for your order but the wait is worthy of food which gets served. Overall amazing experience.
Well known and loved for many years, Anand has been one of the top 3 thali places to hit on each Goa visit. This time unfortunately the fried fish seemed pre fried and had been sitting for a while. The rest of the thali was great! The Rawa prawns were excellent , a bit overpriced but worth it if you're not doing this everyday.
Beers were cold, service was fast and friendly. There's always a parking spot even when it's busy, might take a little looking though
This place is the best for seafood. The portion, preparation, and taste of the dishes is authentic. The servers are helpful and courteous. Ample parking space in front of the restaurant for two wheelers and across the road for four wheelers.
They have got 4 sections including one AC hall and one outdoor hall well decorated.
One of the best Seafood restaurant in Goa. I had seafood at many places but this place is way ahead of others.
I ordered Crab Masala and Chaunak fish fry. Both are too tasty.
After hearing lot about this place we visited here. Best place to have fresh fish
What we ordered?
1. Surmai Masala Fry
2. Prawns Rawa Fry
3. Makhki( squid masala)
4. Solkadi
All the food was fresh and delicious
1. Portion size of surmai masala fry was very nice. Surmai was a fresh catch and tasted really nice.
2. Prawns rawa fry were the best. They fried the prawns with head and tail, I personally liked it. Many people might not like it but it was delicious.
3. Squid Masala was perfectly spiced flavoured with fresh kokum, we had this with tandoor roti and steamed rice.
4. Experience of solkadi was a bit disappointing. It was not bad but it wasn't the solkadi I expected being an Maharashtrian. It was spicy and sweet as they added lots of chillies as well as sugar in the solkadi.
Overall great experience, ambience is really good, whole place smells of freshly fried fish aroma. Prices are not bad but also not pocket friendly

This is one of the best place in North Goa to try out authentic Goan dishes and fresh Seafood delicacies!!
One of my go to place whenever I im in Goa
And it's totally worth it!!
Delicious sea food. There was one hour waiting, but order is served quickly. Tried chonak, crab, squid and prawns. Didn't disappoint.
Had the fish thali and bombil which was average but the thali was not bad at all . When they serve in the bowls there is lot of it spilled on the side . The servers need to be mindful of that . It reminded me of a few places where they just splash n dash and serve it. No big deal but just saying
