Eldou’s is a cute little place with beachfront/view across the road. Great place to chill over with buddies and beers over lunch. That’s what I’d prefer. Choris Pulao, Chonak Rawa fry and chicken cutlets are the dishes that I’ve tried here and I loved the preparations. The owner plays some great music from his collection. And if you are a pet lover you’ll have company of some dogs too that hang around in the premise.
Nice place for a fish Thali . Preparation is authentic and the staff there is good. Drinks are cheap and on Friday night they do live gigs. Lunch there is serene as you can watch the seafront.

When it comes to choosing a place to eat n relax on a budget, this is a gem. Living in Goa has its own advantages when compared to visiting as a tourist. I have been a regular to this place since the last year and have been recommending this place to everyone who is looking for an authentic value for money place to eat.
Though they are known for their thalis, every item on the menu is a must try. Now the best part of their thali is that it's unlimited. You can eat as much rice n other items on the plate, except the fried fish, as you want. Though once in a while their quality and taste does suffer, it can be ignored. The owner and his father both are very hospitable.
Do try all their thalis and relish your taste buds.
One cannot find many places which serve excellent authentic Goan food... As close to home cooked as it can get, yet maintaing the aesthetic of a restaurant.. this little beauty is placed right next to a river.. with the most serene vibe in the area.. I'm a big fan.. and would recommend EVRYTHING on the menu.. so guys when in siolim.. don't miss the lipsmackin goods with the warmth it's served with by the owner!!!
Had this amazing fish thali, beef tongue roast and calamari beer batter fried.. Amazing food at a very cheap price.. Complete value for money.. Highly recommended..

Visited this quaint little restaurant & bar on a rainy Saturday night - very friendly folks and staff. The staff continued to serve us alcohol much beyond the last order and kept the restaurant open just for us.
The place seemed to be a local favourite haunt and not too many tourists (I went in October). We ordered the beef cutlets, the pork chorizo chilly, beer battered mushroom fry & clams with a fish thali and a vegetarian thali for main course. The starters especially the beef cutlets and the chorizo chilly were just superb while the rest of the starters were also good. The fish thali was quite good but I've had better fish curry.

Loved this place for its home-style food and the relaxed easy-going ambience.. the owners are beautiful people who make you feel at home and Eldou’s mama is definitely one of the sweetest people you’d come across.
The beef chilly and clams cooked in a coconut gravy couldn’t get more Goan than what they served .. lip-smacking good!!
the beer batter prawns were delicious too 👌🏽

I am not just writing this review because Eldou is a close friend of mine.
I went to the restaurant today for the first time after it was closed for renovations, with Genny, Eldou’s mum back to guid the cooks in the kitchen, and with Eldou himself preparing many of the numerous items that come in the thali, I have to say that it is now the most outstanding thali I have ever eaten in Goa.
The fish curry in the thali, is Genny’s family’s recipe. Its not only perfect in taste, but in colour, and most importantly, in texture. I mean, the curry has to hold the rice together if you’re going to eat with your hands right!!??
And lets not forget the Kismur or prawn balchao, also prepared at home. Todays fish was black pomfret, fried by the expert, Pankaj! And the delicious piece of cake that comes along with it, to help cut the spices when your done with the fantastic meal.
I’m sitting at home now, trying to work, but all I can do is write this review and dream of the goan thali I just ate.
Lipsmacking home cooked Goan food for the soul! Go here for everything on the menu, the view of the setting sun and a nice chat with the owner and his family. We've spent almost every single evening here on most of our trips to Goa and will continue to do so because no other place comes close to the food and hospitality at Eldou's. Their Saturday night live gigs are not to be missed, if in Goa!
Another plus are the two super friendly dogs at the restaurant!

Brilliant food. Off the 2 days we spent in Goa this was the best food. For a place this wonderful I am surprised very few people know about it. The ambience is great and the staff are super helpful in helping you choose dishes. It's a definite visit.
Everything from lassi to black label in drinks, chicken kabab in snacks and dal makahani for main course was superb. Presentation was amazing, service was classy . Entire experience was absolutely 10/10.
One of the best Punjabi foods I ate in Goa and trust me I have looked . Definitely worth going, and will go again.
Oh yeah, and the banyan tree is really cool, makes the ambience amazing. Music is also apt for the place.
This restaurant is not to be missed if you are in Goa. The ambiance is just amazing with the giant banyan tree. The chicken tandoori was excellent. Would like to try out the Asian menu someday. The reception and service by the staff was great. Lovely place for casual photography as well.
very VERY good Thai food (at least Tom Yam soup w shrimps 220 Rs and Pad Thai 300 Rs) said to have a Thai chef ... excellent service ... splendid decor ... cheaper then 'thai' place 1.2 km north up the road...

Asia in Goa - I happened to be there on opening night and wow was I blown away. Great selection on the menu, but the Dim Sum are amazing. I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I had the Pork. Elegant interiors, great lighting and such attention to detail and the service backed it all up. A must try in Goa. This is going to be the new Asian Kitchen hub for sure.
