Awesome place to be when at Goa
Lockdown made me realise how much vacationing is more important than anything! Nothing better than good food,Coktails, bars and beaches which is there in a goa! Thalassa is the best place to get your evenings sorted with a chilled beer and some meaty snacks. This place has a very good list ranging from cocktails to snacks to main course.
The first would which comes to my mind about this place is tranquility. The wonderful amalgamation of sun and sea, the word Thalassa it self mean Sea. Whenever, I am in Goa, this has to be the first place on the itenary ; my all-time suggestions to my friends and family is for this place always. It's been 8 years, but I never get fed up with this place, instead it keeps me falling in love even more with the passing years. Earlier, this was located at Vagator, but now they have shifted to Siolim, even more beautiful than before. Last year, unfortunately, couldn't visit their new setup as it was a red alert in Goa due to the cyclone and now this pandemic is the reason of the delay. But this place has one of the best sunset view is Goa.
It's all Greek here, from flooring, food to furniture, feels like you are in Greece. Food is the best you could have in whole Goa, and the staff is very ambient. If you are a fan of meditaranian cuisine, this this is a perfect place for you. They have the best feta cheese, I have had in India so far ; used in salads, platters and grilled recipes. We ordered grilled feta, babaganoush and salad, everything as really delicious and appealing. Also, I loved Baklava, sorbet and chicken casserole, they were delectable.
There are 2 slots available, sunset and dinner, you need to book your table well in advance. If you have a travel plan during peak season and sunset is your choice, then call them well in advance, even before leaving for Goa. It's better to book 1 month before you leave for Goa in peak season. I have attached some pictures, which were captured by me on my mobile phone and trust me they are all natural without any edit as this place does not require any editing, it's most beautiful on its own. Thanks for all your time for reading this !
This is one of the classiest place to dine in Goa! I remember when I visited here when it used to be in Vagator. The area size was less as compared to the current one(Siolim). The decor, crowd, food is pure class. I've never ever had such amazing alfredo pasta. The vibes you get after entering this place is next level. It's a must place to be whenever in Goa. The best place in Goa with no doubt :)
Your trip to Goa is surely incomplete if you miss out on this rocking place.
This is epic and beautiful with amazing food.
Artistic plays, shows, dance place and what not.
It’s amazing❤️
By the estuarish mix of Chapora and Anjuna river, sits this set in white restaurant "Thalassa", serving locals and travellers alike, of the Grecian delicacy they specialise.
However shoestring our student on a travel budget was my friends and I, had made it a point to dine at this place. And it did not let us down. Thalassa was an experience worth remembering and specially when it was just before the great lockdown came to force.
We ordered for a pizza, a share platter and a seafood pasta, with a couple of beers and grasshoppers.
Each of those dishes were delicious and unique to the taste they told we'd have. The servers were a delight and all in all, just the feeling of being at that place with good people and good food by the river side on a background of white was quaintly beautiful.
I would refer all who travel to Goa to do give this place a visit, you wont be disappointed.
Thank you for your service, Thalassa.
What an amazing place Thalassa is♥️ i will recommend all my friends to visit this place definitely whenever they will visit Goa🥰
Best place I have ever been to. This amazing restaurant has best to offer. Simply loved every bit of it ♥️♥️

And good for seafood also.. 4 stars for salad
I had heard a lot about this place so I wanted to visit it anyhow. I had also heard that this place is heavy on the pocket but the rating and reviews made me want to visit this place.
The ambience is absolutely breathtaking.
It's so relaxing and the vibe is 10/10.
The staff members are extremely sweet and polite.
Food ordered -
Salmon bruschetta 4/5 - this was the first time I had this dish. (heads up - its raw salmon) but I actually kinda liked it. There were alot of things along with the salmon so it doesn't taste bad.
Small Greek chicken pizza 3/5 - An okayish pizza. I've had better.
Some pasta I don't remember which was actually good and so filling.

Had heard a lot about this place !! When I finally visited it I understood why it was so famous. The ambience is absolutely fantastic and you do not really wish to leave the place. Food is also very good and they have decent music playing
Must visit if in Goa
Tried their speciality Chicken Gyros and few mocktails as well.
The taste of gyros was pretty good. Beyond my expectations to be honest. The quantity was sufficient as well. The chicken was fresh and tender. The drinks were decent too.
The ambience was great. Best time to visit this place is during sunset. The view is incredible
The food was good so as the drinks. I felt the price was little high than usual. Overall above average experience.
A captivating view of the sun going down!!! Mesmerizing music n performance!!! Yummilicious food!!! Mimosa(champagne n orange juice cocktail)!!! Total Greek Romance in the air!!! The Perrrrrfecttt place for that special Goa evening 😍
Simply loved the vibes here!!!
What an excellent view with food and lovely vibes all around. We had this pizza and chocolate frape.
This is my mandatory go-to place whenever I am in Goa ! The sunset view & the evening fire and dance performaces are the highlights , not to forget the food is great .
Beautiful place, love the feel of urself once u there, great staff, great stuff
One word to describe this place would be "Idyllic". This restaurant offers arguably the best seaside ambience in all of Goa. Coupled with the choice of Greek food n soothing music, this is The place to sit back, grab a cold one and chill by the sea.
Amazing place. The vibe is the best vibe there. The ambience is lovely and the crowd is so good. The food is really nice and the location of the place is good. The nearby shops must be visited. The place is a great experience overall!
Amazing place, great ambience, courteous staff, super packed on Saturday nights. Visit only if you have a reservation else you will need to wait for hours together.
A perfect evening we had there.. My Goa visit would have been incomplete without visiting there .. such a lovely ambience ! Please ask for the sea view side table ! That will be the best ! Food were too good. Great flavor . And the performance was cherry on a cake . Amazing staffs .. great knowledge about food .. Must visit place. Deserves the hype. 🤗
A trip to Goa is incomplete without visiting Thalassa! And this place surely lives up to the hype. Beautiful sea facing location with gorgeous sunset views, relaxed Mediterranean ambiance and vibrant crowd. Beer is very reasonably priced so that's another plus. Lovely place to chill-out with friends in the evening. It is advisable to book your tables in advance in high season. I booked my table a month in advance and managed to get the table with the best sunset view :)

Visited this beautiful Greek Restaurant while I was in Goa with my girls.
We ordered blueberry smoothie, strawberry milkshake, fruit punch & African beauty mocktails.
We also tried their Greek Lasagna and White Sauce Penne Pasta.
The lasagna wasn’t that flavourful as we expected it to be but the pasta was great.
The drinks were quite average.
The ambience and the view is what makes this place so beautiful that you don’t want to leave.
I had wonderful time with my wife and we had combo dates that is valentine day and my anniversary both made unforgettable by Thalasa people🥃🤗🎂

Thalassa is the classiest and most happening party place in Goa at the moment. This Greek Themed restaurant has it all, ample seating options, beautiful bar, good music, live dance performances, hookah and of course good food.
Since we were in a large group, we tried a large variety of dishes. Except the pizza we found all the other dishes well prepared. I especially liked the Thalassa Kebab platter, Grilled Calamari, Flaming Saganaki and the Grilled Red Snapper.
The vibe of this place is amazing. The Greek dance performance, flame throwers and robotic dancers made the experience even more memorable.
The best party place in Goa, just make sure that you book a table well in advance.
This place is a beguiling mixture of Indian and Greek Culture. Food is delicious specially fried calamari. Short performances add extra delight. Must visit for ultimate experience. (Try to Reach around 5:30 just before sunset for great views)
Such a beautiful beautiful place! We went there on a Friday evening at around 5 so that we could watch the sun set. Such a beautiful place! The staff is very friendly, the ambience is super romantic. The music is good too. Will definitely recommend this place to all. The food and drinks were okay, slightly on the expensive end. But the ambience makes it worth it. Do book at least a week in advance if you want a waterside table.
Every time we go to Thalassa we wonder how the vibe of the place keeps getting better.. The secret to that is an age old welcoming attitude. I find in general Greek food just like its culture and people are welcoming and enjoy a good laugh which represents food, drinks, music and dance to celebrate.
After so many years coming to this place I write a review to express my gratitude to the people running it for making it soo good for everything they do. the view is fantastic and must I say that its better than the one before. The island bar add a great vibe and the smell of the grills justmakes it impossible to not enjoy the holidays and vacations.
Will come back to have a nice drink watching the sunset or the dance and fire performances along with some of that souvlaki
Top notch place to visit when in Goa.
Its Greek themed restaurant with beautiful ambience.
That white colour & sunset view is totally admirable 😍
-Music & those lovely Cocktails 🍸 just sets ur mood high.
-Food is a bit let down here, those flavours were missing.
-Do make advance booking to get the best of table for a perfect view.
-Evenings are the best time to visit if u wanna enjoy that serene Sunset 🌅
🍻Overall a fantastic place to chill & relax 😊
If you are in Goa .. this is one must visit place.. enjoyed the Greek food and Music. On Weekend getting a table is challenge . The Set set view is amazing .... Dance along with the Greek dance troupe.
Super super experience. Good music!
The fried Calamari was simple delicious.
The performances was great.
Our host for the evening Rahul was amazing!!
A must visit place in Goa for all🍻🍻
This is one of the most legendary outlets in goa and whenever you are planning to visit go and hit this place. Everything about it is so incredibly amazing. From the staff to the little events they have to entertain the crowd. Truly the best restaurant in goa.
It's a seaside restaurant with a very lively ambience. Loved the food here. Highly recommend the melizanosalota which is basically a brinjal dip. The veg rissoto is also a worth try. These were the dishes that were the highlights. But all the dishes were good.
This place is more of a legacy. Every person who has been to Goa will recommend this brilliant restaurant, with perfect food and service and a delightful ambience.
Do make a reservation before coming.
PS: The location has changed, it is not at Vagator anymore.
Thalassa is synonymous with the party crowd in Goa. We had been to Goa on a weekend trip recently, and decided to spend our last night here. We reached Thalassa at around 8 in the evening, and were surprised to find the crowd that had already thronged the place. A waiting time of close to an hour ensued, but so lively is the place that we didn't mind waiting at all. In the meantime, dance performances (claimed to be performed by Greek artists) kept us entertained and engaged. Once we got a table, we opted for a hookah alongwith a round of cocktails. Now the hookah wasn't like anything I had seen earlier. Replete with 2 tentacle-like pipes and LEDs which kept on changing colour constantly, it actually looked like an alien offspring. Also, the presence of 2 pipes made it more convenient to share it amongst our group of 5. The cocktail, though, was a bit disappointing. I had the Odessey, which is supposedly a Thalassa specialty. Though it was refreshing, it tasted more lime-basil juice than alcohol. Coming to the food, we started off with a round of Lamb Gyros, Chicken Kebab and Garlic Pita. Both the lamb and the chicken preparations were extremely tasty, and though I could have devoured a complete dish myself, the portions were enough for a group of 5. For main course, we decided to share Chicken Mousaka and Sea basa fillet instead of ordering separate items. These weren't as tasty as the starters; I have had tastier mousaka before. However, they weren't too bad either, and rounded off our meal nicely. Overall, the food was tasty, the service good, and the ambiance electric. If you're around Goa, a visit to Thalassa is highly recommended.
A Beautiful place to visit to enjoy food and sea view.
Been to this place for Breakfast.
Food is good and the view is superb.
Ordered
1. Eggs - Village omelette
2. Baguettes- Tomato, lettuce, cucumber and onion
3. Yogurt smoothies - Blueberry
Village omelette, omelette made with mushroom, tomatoes, onions, red peppers, feta cheese and olive oil served with toast.
Tastes superb.
Baguette is worth a try.
Yogurt smoothie is good.
Overall a must visit restaurant to enjoy the view and food.
Loved the earlier venue and loved this place even better. The service is super and the staff are always serving you with a smile. This place needs no introduction. Everybody who wants to visit Goa, has Thalassa on their to do’ list. I’ve heard at night it’s super but we wanted to visit in the noon cuz it’s the best to experience the scenic beauty during the day. The place is set up beautifully with ‘white’. Make sure you make a reservation if it’s 4 PM onwards so that you aren’t disappointed once you arrive.
Great music, friendly staff and delicious food
Thalassa the Greek word for ‘sea’, gets the vibe just right is located outside Vagator hilltop to a serene spot in Siolim. The place is on the must visit spots of most of the tourists who visit Goa to relax, chill in posh places. Thalassa has all the Greek vibes done right .The food and cocktails served here are Great and one of the best in Goa .The cost is a bit on the higher side and so is the crowd .The best time to visit Thalassa is during sunsets however for waterfront tables you need to reserve tables .
Thalassa is not just a place it's a vibee!!
If you're in goa this place is a must visit
Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Although I visited this place last season but must tell u that this is a fantastic place .... the view , the food the music .. all are prefect ...
this fares in my top 5 places to eat in north Goa ...
One of the best outdoor restaurants facing waterfront in Goa. Greek styled, energetic ambiance and great food. This place should be on your bucket list if you in Goa. Place is having wonderful crowd, beautiful sunset view. Situated near to backwaters will give you a perfect horizon view at sunset. Really liked the place and people. Place is a bit overcrowded at times but you will never regret a visit. Pretty white decor overlooking the blue waters of the way. The food is mainly Greek and really well made. They have options of various cocktails as well as mock-tails.Highly recommended things are Pasta,Pizza and Mexican rice tastes very delicious...Guys do visit for an amazing experience.
Top-notch dining in Goa! Impressive new spot with a Greek menu. The location is breathtaking, though that's typical for Goa. The staff was attentive and accommodating, and the food was outstanding. The feta pastry was especially delicious! Cannot praise this place enough; it could easily rival eateries in Athens.
Amazing place to night out. Cover charge is not so much 3k per couple which will be adjusted in the bill. All the performances were amazing. Electrifying atmosphere.. valet parking available but do prior booking before you go there.
An iconic pub/restaurant of Goa. The Thalasa is located close to the coast and gives a fantastic view of the vast Arabian sea. They have a massive seating area and can accommodate a huge crowd also if required. The music is not too loud and neither too low, is played at the perfect volume. The pleasant breeze from the sea blows across the restaurant and the overall ambience/vibe of this place is second to none.
Food though good, is way overpriced and overhyped. The pricing on some of the dishes is just ridiculous to say the least. Pricing is definitely something which they should have a hard look at.
Service is quick and well organized. No major objections on that front.
This place is worth a one time visit just for the experience, but I wouldn't be a repeat customer of this place whenever I visit Goa.
A great place to hangout solo, along with family or friends. The ambiance of the place is amazing. Sea and lake views from the place adds extravaganza in the place. The place offers variety of entertainment shows and programs which are really beautiful to see. A must visit place. Believe me, if you didn’t visit this place in Goa, your Goa trip is incomplete.
Thalassa Greek restaurant in Goa offers a truly unique dining experience, primarily owing to its stunning sunset view that transports you to paradise. The captivating ambience, coupled with the breathtaking vista, creates an idyllic setting for an unforgettable evening. The restaurant's location seems to have mastered the art of providing a picturesque backdrop that resonates with a sense of tranquillity.
While the food at Thalassa is described as decent, lacking extravagance, the real charm seems to lie in the overall atmosphere. The restaurant projects an exclusive vibe, making patrons feel like they're part of the Top 1% Club. This exclusive ambience, however, comes at a price. Diners are advised to have a well-padded wallet, as the dishes are noted to be on the pricier side.
Thalassa extends its allure with a shop that complements the overall experience. Beyond the culinary delights and dancing area, the inclusion of a shop provides patrons with the opportunity to take a piece of Thalassa home with them. This adds an extra layer of entertainment, turning the venue into not just a restaurant but a multifaceted social space. It seems like the perfect spot to unwind, where patrons can let loose, forget about life's problems, and simply enjoy the moment.
In conclusion, this restaurant offers more than just a dining experience; it's a destination where the ambience, sunset view, and exclusive atmosphere combine to create a memorable escape. While the food may not be extravagant, the overall experience is certainly one that lingers in the memory. Just be prepared to splurge a bit for the privilege of being part of this unique setting.
This is one of the best night clubs I have ever been to in Goa. They have lot of performances like fire performance, belly dance and other Bollywood dances. Food is also tasty and great.
One of the best restaurant you will ever visit in goa. The food is mouth watering. Service quick. Staff is friendly and will perfectly recommend you the food as per your taste. The atmosphere is very peaceful. All people around you are enjoying on their own. They have one of the best beer.
Great music & dance! Awesome crowd! Fantastic spot offers a vibrant nightlife experience of GOA, with great music, dance and atmosphere.
If you're looking for a lively night out, it's worth a visit.
Thalassa in Siolim is an absolute dream! From the moment you arrive, you are transported to a Greek paradise with stunning views and a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. The white and blue decor creates a serene and picturesque setting that is perfect for a leisurely meal or a sunset cocktail.
The food at Thalassa is to die for. The menu is filled with authentic Greek dishes that are bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. From the succulent grilled meats to the mouthwatering seafood, every dish is a true delight for the taste buds. And the desserts are simply heavenly - don't miss out on the baklava!
The service at Thalassa is top-notch. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure that every guest feels like a VIP. The live music and traditional Greek dancing add to the lively and fun atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a special celebration or a romantic evening.
Overall, Thalassa is a must-visit for anyone in Siolim. The combination of delicious food, stunning views, and fantastic ambiance make it an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to go back!
The place is just one big shack/tent with loud music and a dance floor. They actually serve really great food but it's more of a party place. Too many tables which gets very crowded after 8 and is chaos. Lots of places for pictures. They also have some shops around.
Great Place for a fun filled night. We went there at 5pm to witness the stunning sunset that everyone wrote about and have a couple of beers by the sea !! The makeshift bamboo sheds protecting us from the rain did dampen the view but we managed to lift the shades and get it anyways.
Service is a tad slow, but the food was good. Our slot finished so we shifted to the bar and my o my did the scene evolve from a cozy evening restaurant to a glitzy Friday carnival!!
One of the best night club in Goa. The music and crowd was good.
It’s better to book a table before you are going.
For couple, it is 5000 as entry fee which can be used for food and alcohol but it is not redeemable.
Food taste is good but Alcohol price is high. Some brands are having 10x price.
All perfect for this place, Its a Greek Restaurant..
This place needs no new explanation..
Little upscale place but one would love this place for its cozy atmosphere, lively music and its tasty dishes.
Seafoods are a must try here.
Drinks are on the higher side.
Thalassa in Goa offers a fantastic party experience with a perfect sunset vibe. The food and cocktails are excellent, complemented by a top-notch party atmosphere featuring diverse entertainment performances. The DJ excels at creating a lively night ambiance. However, entering the venue may pose occasional challenges. For the best experience, consider arriving around 5 PM to fully enjoy the lively atmosphere.
Mesmerising place to have some delicious food with breath taking beach facing view.
Vegetarian options are limited.
I tried their Spaghetti and Veg Supreme Pizza.
Overall taste was good but I think it’s a bit overpriced.
Highly recommended whenever you visit Goa.
When we think about celebrations, Thalassa is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. Vibe here super cool and sunset view is amazing. Must visit place for mesmerising experience.
