I have tried many cuisines all over India.. One cuisine which was on my bucket list was pan asian items. I was here in srinagar n had the privilege to enjoy yummy food items at this pan asian cafe next to dal lake. I had 2 food items along with beverages. Every item tasted good n should be tried once when you visit dal lake. Would come back soon.. Cheers

Nestled in the lap of the majestic Zabarwan Range, on the enchanting banks of Dal Lake, Walk to Wok Cafe presents itself as a tiny and cute gastronomic delight that exceeds the expectations of Chinese food in Kashmir. Its exquisite Indo-Chinese cuisine and delightful ambiance outshine almost every other Indo-Chinese restaurant in the valley.
The quality of the food surpasses expectations (it is decent but not THE BEST), given the price and the location. Unlike other crowded and overpriced establishments around the area, this place offers a peaceful respite, ensuring that each dining experience is relaxed and enjoyable.
I would like to point out that while each course at Walk to Wok Cafe was decent and satisfying, the complementary sauces and condiments failed to complement and elevate the culinary experience to its full potential.
If you are around the area and craving Chinese, this small cafe is highly recommended!
The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered rice with some marinated chicken, hot Asia sauce and peanut topping. The sauce added an extra kick to the dish without overpowering the other ingredients. Thought it was a bit spicy but I still enjoyed the spice level.
The service at Wok to Walk was exceptional. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They guided me through the process of choosing ingredients and offered helpful suggestions along the way.
Overall, I highly recommend Wok to Walk for anyone seeking a flavorful and customizable stir-fry experience. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their tempting menu options.
You will get a amazing food in this place, if you are in Dal Lake area you should visit this place.
Best food I ever tasted in kashmir
A good spot for Chinese food admirers! Great wok food. Service is quick. The biggest pro, I think, is the parking space behind the restaurant. An excellent place for a quick meal if you are around boulevard.
Very pleasant and cozy sitting area. Just had momos (vegetarian) . It was super delicious. Presentation was great. Would have appreciated more if the food was piping hot. It was warm but didn't say anything as we were super hungry.
Food quality is good, it tastes delicious , though the quantity is little. Prices are moderate. Place is calm but small. You can definitely try out this place. Some meals may become your favourite too. Also, they have nearby parking!
Finally.... Some authentic South East Asian food in Srinagar!
Don't need to say much about the brand. It's International and that shows. From branding, set-up to presentation the place looks and feels like a franchise of a well established international food chain.
It's what a QSR should be. The Service time was quick. (Might I add the "QUICKEST" in town). Portion size was justified. Presentation of the food was spick and span. Not much of a hassle to eat.
About the Taste. It was simply awesome. You will know if you have had authentic Chinese. The customised meal is the brand's USP. So you can choose your noodles or the base ( many types of noodles/grains/veggies), your main ingredients and your choice of sauces as well the toppings. The end result is simply & purely "authentic" S.E.A meal. Not just an 'attempt' to make something of that region.
Whatever you have there do ask them to use Saigon sauce. Its an explosion of spices and black pepper in your mouth!
Downer was that the place was dead. No crowds. But that's not the fault of the place itself. People would take some time to wake up to this place I'm sure.
Ample parking space also, so no worries there!
Nevertheless the staff didn't let any of these downers come in the way of their food quality and taste.
So every once in a while, if you are annoyed by the barrage of Mughlai food options that this city provides, do visit WTW. You won't leave disappointed I'm sure.j
