It was a good experience visiting there... had kathiyawadi thali and it was really tasty... loved thepla the most... khichdi was also really amazing... kadhi was little spicier as the name suggests kathiyawadi

EAT WITH HANDS AND ENJOY EVERY FLAVOR
I am born and brought-up in Surat and Surat is my motherland. I feel proud that I come from the City of delicious food varieties. Now I am settled at Bangalore but whenever I visit Surat, I never miss exploring the old as well as new food varieties.
During my recent visit to Surat, my parents introduced me to Jalaram Khichdi. I truly savored every bite of it.
Location:
The outlet I visit is located in the basement of Kashi Plaza right at the popular Majura Gate. The road was very messy due to on-going metro work. But such struggles never impacts us Surti people when it comes to food.
Food:
Truly 'Finger Licking Good' is what I can express. We took parcel and relished food at home.
We ate Rajwadi Khichdi, Kadhi and Papad.
Khichdi was extremely falvourfull with lots of vegetables and spiced up with hot tadka. I can swear that I can eat this khichdi wihout Kadhi or Papad. It was that much delicious.
Kadhi was one of the best. We call it "Maharaj Kadhi" which used to be served in food during marriages.
I am truly looking forward to my next meal from Jalaram Khichdi.

For Regular goer They Serve Thali also.
Price of food is slightly higher, but if you prefer taste over price then This won't be matter of concern for you.
Best Quality food at reasonable cost. The atmosphere is good and also less crowded. Must visit place if you wish to fulfil your stomach without loosening your pocket. Mini Punjabi Thali is delicious.

Test is perfect for Gujarati dishes, I highly recommend to order there only gujarati dishes.
nice and reasonable place to eat but it very nasty and dirty at in place... i appeal to owner please do clean your area before start your premises ... it smell like urine in front of gate..
not recommenced to all i seen cockroach in surface of premises. Now they offering online also with zomato but it leak packing quality.

Small but good place to have food, we ordered sev bhaji and lassoni aloo. sev bhaji was good but found lassoni aloo (very bed quality/teast), roti, butter milk, papad or khichadi were good.
Except 1-2 items other were good.
Ambiance were good but found little conjusted to seat.
