It is one of oldest and all time favourite restaurant. Ambience is very nice and so the food is. Staff is very humble.
Lake view restaurant is a perfect place for dinner near SVNIT ..the ambience was amazing and so was the food ..we also liked the service and their veg lollipop in starters is a must try .you can definitely try this place once whenever in piplodπβ£οΈ

This is my and my family's favorite restaurant since it is very close to our house and also it has one of the best food around. The North Indian menu is very delicious specially the kadai veg, handi veg, panner tikka masala and a special mention for their hyderabadi dum biryani. Overall a nice place to have food with your family.
Food test good but the Main course subjee quantity is very less as per the rate taken.. otherwise test and service the best . Zometo service also prompt and better .
Panner burzi and toofani was my favourites of all. Very nice interiors and service top class. Rates are high but its ok. Food is awesome.Will visit again for sure.

My surati friend Parth told me that Lake view was the same restaurant his father took her mother on very first date. She did love the restaurant, and also suggested us to make a visit. We really loved the ambiance and service there. Food was indeed great.
Nice ambience. Good food. Some Waiters are a bit clumsy. But the food makes up for it. I like their Chinese dishes. Full marks for quality. You can enjoy a quite evening with your family. Not loud like some other restaurants.
So this place has been my favourite "arabiata pasta" place since college.
With the new make-over, the chef here has put some good effort in rejuvenating the menu.
When you order any of the pasta now, you have assorted fusili, penne & farfelle on your plate. An excitement to your palate though!
The baby corn chilli was also good but missed that crisp.
Overall the place a good eat out option for vegetarians.

It's an old time family restaurant. Best place to hold a party. I love the food they serve. All cuisines are nicely monitored. Hospitality of the staff is commendable and they have kept the entire ambience very neatly maintained. Loved Thai food here.

Good restaurant- ambience, staff, location and food. They serve really good punjabi food. I ordered paneer hyderabadi and it was yum. I also ordered methi malai which was tasty. What gives this restaurant a magical touch is its open air seating.

I tried this restaurant after around 7-8 years. & They have maintained their taste, even good that they have renovated very nicely, now its a fully air conditioned restaurant. My preferred late night munching items there are aloo chilli, french fries & panneer tikka sandwich but the cheese chilli toast beats them all.

I usually don't prefer to have Punjabi or Indian food in restaurants but this restaurant serves you some of the best tasting Indian Cuisine in town.
In starter we had Paneer Magic which was paneer stuffed with Basil and served with tangy Italian sauce. It was good.
But what was amazing Paneer Hyderabadi and Veg Toofani. Paneer was so soft and gravy was so luscious. Veg Tiffani was the show stopper of the night.
Lastly we had Hyderabadi Biryani which was not an actually Britani rather a pulao with ajino moto in it.
Service was bit slow may be because it was Sunday night .

I always refer the rooftop. Dining in an open rooftop is always a pleasure. Go there & enjoy the cool breeze. Offcourse, in monsoon, it may turn into a negative.
Averagely priced, some may find it a tad costly.
Biggest low here is the delay in service which needs to be improved.
Overall a good restaurant which have a potential to become even better. I rate it 3.5 out of 5.
Visited Lakeview few days back.... This restaurant is in the businesses for quite a long time.... It is very difficult for a restaurant to survive in Surat due to innumerable good road side eateries. This place has been able to do so and I appreciate Lakeview for the same.
Lakeview which is recently renovated, serves very good Punjabi food. Being an open roof restaurant, and due to its location this place is always busy with foodies. This place is light on pocket. But due to its limited menu and newly opened good restaurants in piplod, i find Lakeview ineligible as a good dinning places in Surat.
Please note- Icecream hub is next to this place, so u can have dessert after finishing your meal.

The location is quite busy, and its little tough to park your vehicles, specially the four-wheelers in front of the restaurant. Other than this disadvantage I think my experience with the lakeview was pretty good! The food was kinda good, specially compared to the reasonable price, ambience is nice. I've heard so many times about rooftop of the restaurant, though I didn't get the chance to visit it. If you're looking for decent restaurant with good punjabi food and don't want to be very cruel on your wallet, this can be your good option!

Price range is little bit high, but food quality and taste is excellent. Atmosphere inside is also good, and additionally the waiting area facilities is also good. Service is nice. You might need to wait for 15-20 minutes in waiting area during weekends. Food is very good.
