I had visited this restaurant during my recent visit to Kochi for official work,. Amazing experience for me and my colleagues. I have been a regular visitor to this brand of restaurants all over India and it never disappoints me. We visited during lunch and the restaurant was packed , but the staff was very courteous and ensured that we were comfortable. Food no doubt was at its best satisfying our north indian taste buds.
Highly recommended place for all .. families, youngsters and corporates. I would surely love to visit again.

I have visited this restaurant once. I knew it's a sanjeev kapoor restaurant and was expecting good food.
The decore and ambience is not too fancy yet very elegant and comfortable. Staff is really courteous and polite and cooperative.
Coming to food we ordered a chicken gravy and tandoori rotis. While we waited for our food we were served with complementary papads. The gravy arrived shortly it didn't take long. It was very delicious and chicken in it was really juicy food was totally as expected. The rotis were soft and fresh and not rubbery.
Prices were a little high but that suited to the brand image yet it could have been lesser.

One of the Best Outlets to visit with family. All the food items cooked here have optimum oil and spices and is not degrading to health. The Kurkure Macchi was extremely delicious coupled with Galouti Kebab, they were the perfect combination of the starters. The Naan and the chicken was equal delicious and was complete meal. Viviana mall is a usual hangout place so it was an impromptu decision that afternoon to hop into Yellow Chillies for a casual family lunch... Yellow Chillies is a fine dine place and our visits generally over there are for special occasions. And like every visit of ours the food was really good ... we usually order paneer dishes as my husband loves to eat paneer dishes... however this time along with paneer we order chicken angara starter & awadi chicken biryani ... along with some wine... & the afternoon was perfect. Chicken Angara was tender... spicy and juicy.. beautifully cooked..loved it.. What to say about the biryani ..the aroma itself had flavors that all I wanted to do was dig into that yummy biryani... The places lives upto the reputation of the Owner Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Service is bit slow... they serve complimentary roasted papad... it helps specially if you are famished..

The drinks are very unique! The food is mediocre! We watch Sanjeev kapoor on tv so we were very excited to try this place but slightly disappointed. It took long for us to receive the food but the waiter was very apologetic! He gave us free dessert which was nice of him to do. When you check in you get a free dessert by default so make sure to do that! In the mock tails I'd recommend adding alcohol in it they are so good! The food portions are small so they are only shareable amount few people. The restaurant wasn't super sanitary but it was not too bad!
I'd recommend checking in before this place does get super busy!

Celebrated my birthday here. The staff is friendly and efficient. We ordered one of their specialities known as shyam savera and another sabzi called the pinddi chole. The naan here exceptionally good. Try the cheese tomato naan, its simply outstanding. The garlic naan and rotis were also very soft. The lassi also tasted great. It has good ambience and they serve the meetha paan at the end. Its a bit expensive as the portion size doesn't justify the price. Overall, its a good family restaurant to dine at.
Heard a lot about the place from friends. So visited the restaurant with my dad for lunch. Absolutely loved the experience. Rajendra was extremely attentive and the food is just too good. We tried the all-time favorite Fish Tikka Masala and Peeli Mirch ka Rawas with Roomali Roti. Everything was just perfect. We ended with traditional paans as compliments. A perfect lunch at a great restaurant. Will definitely visit again.

Sanjeev Kapoor is a great chef and no discussion around it.
I visited twice to ‘Yellow Chilli’ at different locations ( Thane and Powai ) in past years and decided to struck off from my list due to not matching with expectations (food quality and ambiance)
Last week we were shopping at Viviyana mall and as all shopping trips end usually in having dinner, we also decided to do the same.
Since we were not very hungry, were thinking about various options and then somebody insisted to have only Indian food. So all pizza, Pastas , Chinese and all other options went out of window. And being adventurous or thinking let’s give it a 3rd chance, we decided for ‘Yellow Chilli’
Not crowded due to working day and plus somehow ambiance impressed us ( probably lower expectations) as soon as we entered. (check photos).
We had paneer as starter and it was quite spicy but tasty. Papad were complimentary and in good quantity like 5star!
For main we just ordered steam rice and dal tadka and there was no disappointment. We enjoyed this simple but delicious menu.
The only disappointment was refusal to give benefit for zomato gold scheme.
Looking back we have decided to try again ‘Yellow Chilli’ to explore full menu. So watch this space....

Personally speaking he's n inspiration for many people including me ,falling in love with cooking was all because of chef Sanjeev Sir .the special thing about this restaurant is that you get the signature dishes of chef Sanjeev Kapoor which u have just watch while he cooks it but this restaurant gives u a apportunity to taste his signature dishes .I have recently visted their Thane branch where I had tried soups n the starters are the must u should visit n try the desi style Fish N Fingers n Paneer tacos which I personally just loved it ,it was an 💯. theyhave multiple cusine available as per u liking but I tried the Indian food menu,The Shaam Savera dish it was the best I have tried with some Naan n kulchas n finally the desert ,even if u are not a sweet fan or Ur on diet I still recommend u to try the Brownie Fudge(it's like Yellow chilli me akar agar ye nhi khaya tho ky khaya),Comning to the end the ambience was excellent ,value for many was very good💯.As in I had visited this place with one of my frnd so we could try this much varieties only but we are planning soon to visit again some day.last but not the least I know I may sound crazy but I love their menu card 😍it's like a book which u would never stop reading it's so beautifully designed.must visit

So here comes my first experience i had with this awesome restaurant. It was rainy weekend and i was hanging out with buddies at Viviana mall, Thane. After a long fun and shopping we were super hungry and we were looking for something different which we never tried before and we found this restaurant and we thought of giving them an opportunity to serve us. We ordered Paneer tikka lababdars, Butter naans, Plain rotis, Lacchha Parathas, Masala Papads and their Veg biryanis. As soon as we entered in we realised we have choosen the perfect place to dine in. Taste of all the dishes were mouthwatering, food was enough hot, quantity was sufficient, paneer cubes were roasted perfectly so the papads were, they really serve hygiene food at affordable cost. I personally liked their Veg biryani much and trust me i have never ever tasted such biryani before. The aroma literally took me in heaven.. lol, gravy was perfectly added, neither it was watery nor dry. The ingredients they used in were fresh and perfect in quantity which makes food taste great. After we finished we were so much curious to know who the chef was? Basically we never concern about the chef but the yummy food literally won our hearts and we requested restaurant if we can meet their chef? And they allowed us. The guy named Mr.Mahtab came at us with huge smile and confidence on face which he showed in his cooking skills as well, we thanked him for making our first experience awesome and it was really nice talking to him, guy was so professional, polite and humble and he knows his limitations with work and profession so he had to leave within few minutes and we completely understand this part. He asked us to visit again if we can and of course we couldn't say "no". We left the restaurant promising staff we will visit them soon and we are excited to try their rest of the dishes as we couldn't try much in a first visit. Guys, if you are looking for something new, different, tasty, hygiene and pocket friendly then you must visit this ambience as they really serve good food. I wish i could rate them more than i did but unfortunately i can't. They deserve millions of stars so their chef Mr.Mahtab too. Thanks Yello Chilli team for giving us mind blowing hospitality. To start with beverage: house Mocktail was refreshing to begin with the experience .

Dahi wada shots -fantastic presentation with well balanced taste. (must eat )
Palak Cheese karara roll - well stuffed with spinach and cheese with spinach not chewy and cooked well. (recommended)
Chanajor Garam Tikki - WEll had many tikkis but this one had brilliant taste and crispy batter.(awesome)
Tangra chilli Paneer- Indo-Chinese dish.. i wouldnt say much amazing but can have .
Peeli Mirch Ka rawas - well cooked fish tikka with well balanced taste.
Cheese chilli chicken tikka - What i liked was the chicken was well cooked and balanced taste of chilli and cheese.
ulte tawe ki Galouti - Have tasted galouti at many places and found this one is much better and blended well with spices.
Tawa chaap- Lamb was succulent and well marinated and cooked to perfection. Loved until the bone.
Shaam savera and butter chicken was mains which we ordered with variety of breads.. one of the best bread was tomato and cheese naan (do try )
Overall experience at this place was much amazing and definitely the taste will pull us back to the restaurant.

We visited this place twice in the last 15 days as we are suckers for good non-veg food. They serve complimentary roasted papad in the beginning, so u can munch on it till your order comes (which generally doesn’t take much time 😊). We started with Cheese chilli chicken tikka - the combination of cheese and chicken tikka was just mouth watering, had Butter Chicken for main course which tasted nothing like I had for a very long time 😋😋. In our second visit we tried Peeli mirch ka rawas and Chowringhee chilli chicken, these two had very distinct taste and we loved them. We ended the dinner with Chicken Dum Biryani which was tasty, nothing extra-ordinary. The thing we loved about the place is the soothing music, calming ambience, good portion of delicious food, courteous staff, specially our steward Manoranjan with his welcoming smile and gestures. Ideal place to visit for Fine Dining experience with family or a romantic date.

Great place!!!!! A table attendant named manoranjan was most courteous and treated us like a king.
We love the place and the food.
One let down is the music, which is Indian classical which is too loud most of the time and gets to you eventually if not immediately.
But yet again I must thank the man of the day Manoranjan Behera who showed us a nice time by also taking the time to understand our palate and portions and recommend dishes.
Will definitely recommend and visit this place for the scrumptious food.

Coming to the taste of food we had here, the starters were very good to taste, nicely grilled.
For the main course, we went in for a combination of Indian bread and gravy dish. Subz panchvati was good to taste and had unique blend of masala whether it was non veg gravy or veg gravy.
What stole the show was the biryani we went for, Nizami tarkari biryani. It was wonderful to taste and was quite a good biryani to feed upon.
For the dessert, we went in for dark chocolate brownie fudge, I would not say it was not good and also I would not say it was mind blowing. Maybe I had a bit of expectation from it, but it was ok to taste.
One of the best taste of Punjabi food I ever had. Located at Viviana Mall, a popular location at Thane, huge parking, nice and cooperative staff.
If you are fond of deserts do try Desert platter consisting of Halwa, Firni, Basundi too good.....

I liked the food here. They serve Indian menu only but it definitely lives upto Sanjeev Kapoor standards. We were served complementary fried papad at the beginning.
Then we ordered the following dishes:
1) Lemon Cucumber Rassam Soup- This tangy soup is delicious and lip smacking. You'll wish you were served some idli on the side.
2) Samosa Chat- I don't usually order street food in restaurants. This one was decent, not the best I've had though.
3) Chili Cheese Chicken Kebab- these are not spicy so if you are expecting them to be then you'll be disappointed. But we loved how tender the chicken was and the cheese quantity was just right.
There was no room in our bellies for main course. Also we were served complementary paan in the end.
Zomato Gold 2+2 on drinks works here. Food was delicious, Juices were good too.
They have broken the stereotypes of only serving saunf at the end. Instead they serve a pan specially made for you. For drinks we ordered Peru Pyala (spicy), Tarbooz (sweet) and mint juicy Julep (mint and tangy). And for main course we ordered Nizami Tarkari Biryani. The food was served very fast. With all these dishes ordered, prepared, delivered, and ate in all 1.5 hours time. In all we had a good experience.
This amazing restro by Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor is Nice place to visit with family and even with friends... It's a very relaxed place with ample of seating area and the food is quite tastier. I had specially come here for the vodka pani puri shots ❤❤😍
Beautiful ambience and amazing food. Tried a few of their Mocktails and chicken starters. Among the starters Angara Lal Mirch Tikki was really great but Chowringhee Chilli Chicken was just average. Place is a little pricey but it's worth the experience.

Three days ago we (family) went to our favorite The Yellow Chilli again at Viviana Mall Thane. The mall, for shopping and The Yellow Chilli for eating is a lethal combination. You can't go wrong. As we are vegetarians we asked the help of Chef. Promptly came out Chef Mayur; a smart guy with signature moustache and infectious smile. He suggested newly introduced Thand Rakh menu with winter specialties. We grabbed the offer. Captain Nagendra took over from there and we started with the welcome drink, table appointments and rolled papad. The chhunda served here is just too good. I keep eating it with papad till the food comes. Good strategy by the management as in this age of mobiles, people have less patience to wait! In came the new Beetroot ki Gilawat; mind boggling it was. We are light eaters and foodies, so we order less dishes and relish them one by one. Chef Mayur made Achari Shalgam Gobhi the way we used to have it in our native Allahabad, yummy. To accompany that was my all time favorite Methi Thepla and hing ke tadke wali peeli daal. I just need sliced onion or mukka pyaaz to go with it. Peru Pyala mocktail came in as this particular drink can beat any wine and food combination. Once done with the main course was the time for meethi mulaqatein. Nagendra brought in Gajrela of in-season red carrots. Again reminded me how my grand father used to make in a long drawn process with natural sweetness of carrots and milk. Less of khoya/mawa and more of natural gajar ka taste. Their new Mukhwas Kulfi is something to die for. Combine that with Gajrela and your meal is complete. I am all set to come again here for rest of the vegetarian offering in Thand Rakh menu.
Only request to management is to give a new look to the place as after many visits in last 4 years, there is some fatigue in me for the looks specially the artificial greenery. And why you have removed the seating from the terrace, that's my favorite place to sit and enjoy the food... Kindly put it back.

Very nice place to have dinner with family. The ambience is very good and so is the food quality. The service was quick but one thing I noticed was that the menu had kind of limited dishes available in veg courses. Also one thing to note is that the prices are a bit on the expensive side and it would cost around 1800 for 3 people for dinner.
Food quality is good rather very good.. Taste is authentic which you expect in a chain run by star celebrated chef sanjeev kapoor But quantity is less Starters and side dishes are good Main dishes are well thought out and properly balanced Extended family lunch out at Yellow Chilli was a good experience. We tried the Tuesday menu. Good taste, the right balance, not overspiced. Seniors in the group liked it a lot. The spread was good with suitable combinations.
