Authentic Kolhapuri cuisine. Quick service. Though a small place, it is definitely worth a visit for its sheer taste and value for money. Would recommend and will myself visit again.
Assal kolhapuri cuisine i hv had in mumbai. Warm and courteous staff. The best thing in kolhapuri thali is Pandhara rassa, and having it here made me literally feel like having it in kolhapur. Now i dnt know how many people notice the rice that we get in kolhapur is unique even though it is simple. Similar taste you get to eat at this place.

Mh 09 shetkari ...Authentic kolhapuri cuisine. ..not because m on consulting team....but honestly yummm taste...the exact red colour...n the warmth with which the food is served.....superb food..quirky yet simple interiors ..small yet warm place to relish on the tambada pandhara rassa....bhakri....mutton fry ...chicken fry.....even the veg food menu looks tempting. ..highly recommended. ..

Wanted to experience some spicy flavors so planned to order this chicken kolhapuri dish from the restaurant 'MH 09 Shetkari', Thane. It had semi-thick gravy with vibrant red colour added with tender chicken peices and was medium spiced. It also sent quick cleanser as to equally take care of the precautionary measures.
In the times of pandemic it was hard to decide the safe place for food.. And this place has always made me belive that safety exist... Yes it exists! No doubt they maintained the same yummy taste along with all the safety precautions.! The food was really fresh n hot! The packing was the best i noticed! Along with the parcel they send one sanitizing wipe as a safety measure! Which was really nice of them! Overall a must go place during the lockdown!

MH 09 Shetkari is a Hidden Gem for all those who crave for some Authentic Maharashtra Cuisine.
So i had ordered Jhunka Bhakri and Tadul Roti from here which was really Amazing The flavour of Junka was so Impressive and delicacy to have it along with these Soft Tandul Roti
All over I had great experience here must try MH 09 Shetkari if you are crave for some assal marathi food.
To bring in a special day, we ordered 'Kolhapuri Chicken Masala' along with 'Tandool Bhakri'. Those who have had a proper Kolhapuri meal before, would vouch that taste and quality wise, food from this place is just spot on. It's got the perfect spice and taste of Kolhapuri chicken. And rice bhakri with chicken Masala was the best combination. The food arrived on time. It was fresh and hot when it got delivered as well. It came in clean packaging and the service was safe.

Today was hungry and wanted to have some thing fiery spicy...so what's better than a Kolhapuri dish.

ordered Chicken Kharda got it delivered within 30mins. contactless delivery.
The dish comes with 4-5 chicken pieces (with bone) and is super spicy. I will say it again "Super spicy".
Quantity is enough for one person.

I was glad to see that they are delivering so i ordered chicken kolhapuri masala!

Today I felt a craving for Kolhapuri food and so decided to try MH-09 Shetkari in Thane. Had heard a lot about this outlet from my Maharashtrian friends. I ordered for the tambada(red) rassa and pandara(white) rassa. These were authentic Kolhapuri dishes.Both the gravies were rich and thick.The taste was really yum and we enjoyed these delicacies. Can’t wait to try the other dishes from these outlet.

Today I ordered Egg Curry from MH-09 Shetkari restaurant, Panchpakhadi, Thane West.
It was the best Egg Curry I ever had. The thickness and the taste of this Curry was very unique and authentic. This curry has been prepared in Kolhapuri style which makes a difference and uniqueness in its taste.
The other most important factor which I liked about the restaurant was it’s safety. Proper precautions were taken by the staff while packaging and sending it. Also, they sent me the surface dry wipe with the curry.

The restaurant serves Kokam Sarbat & Kurdai Papad as the welcome dishes which is a good gesture though the quantity of Kurdai Papad & Kokam Sarbat is bit less.😅
The menu has a good variety of Authentic Kolhapuri dishes. We ordered Chicken Thali, Mutton Thali, Chicken Kharda. The taste was lip smacking & awesome.😋
The prices are on the higher side but considering the taste, it is totally worth it. Overall a paradise for Kolhapuri Non-Veg Lovers. Highly Recommended 👍👍

This was small restaurant but has lot of crowd waiting for their turn to experience their amazing food. Perfect mutton thali, chicken thali and everything was perfect and so good in taste that you'll surely visit again and again.
Ordered chicken sukka and mutton sukka in starter. They used same spices for both dishes but both are so good. Well cooked and spicy. It was lip smacking good.
Further we ordered chicken thali and mutton thali in which we get tambda rassa, pandhra rassa, anda curry, solkadhi, bhakri and the Chicken/ mutton rassa as per your order. Everything was nice and perfect. Best Thali for chicken and mutton lovers.

Recently visited MH09 Shetkari which is located at louis wadi in Thane. This place serves Kolhapuri Cuisine and have a tagline "Kolhapuri is not Spicy, its unique taste". It is an extension of Shetkari Hotel which is serving delicious food in Kolhapur since last 18 years.
So we started with the welcome drink which was Kokum Sharbat and it was cool and appetizing.
In starters we tried Ghee Chicken Fry and Ghee Mutton Fry in which chicken and mutton was nicely marinated in their traditional masala and both the dishes were extremely delicious.
Then we tried Chicken Thali and Mutton Thali, both the thalis were served with salad, tambda rassa, pandhara rassa, egg curry, gravy, bhakari and solkadi. All the dishes in thali were not very spicy, yet it they were full of flavors. Also the solkadi was very nice. We also tried masala rice and it tasted amazing with gravy.
So overall we had a good experience and if you want to try the flavors of Kolhapuri Cuisine you should definitely try this place!!

Starting off with the food,
This place has Kolhapuri vibes written all over it.
Right from the accompaniments to the main course, the food served is authentic Kolhapuri food.
We ordered the Chicken Thali which is served along with a side of Solkadi and two different gravies called the Kolhapuri Tambdha and Pandhra rassa.
These are highlights of Kolhapuri cuisine and it's sure to strike the right chords with you.
We also ordered Chicken Kharda. It is a glorious sautée of tender chicken chunks and onion along with some secret spices. Super like!
Coming to the Service,
The staff was really helpful in suggesting the top rated dishes and were attentive towards us.

Talking about the ambience, it's a small outlet hence the tables do feel a little cramped up but it's understandable that they are operating at maximum capacity and hence the optimal usage of space.
Value for money factor,
I personally found it to be quite overpriced for the portions that were being served.
I really hope they work on the price- to- portion ratio.
Verdict : This is definitely a Must-try place for all Thanekars since we haven't exposed ourselves to Kolhapuri cuisine before.

Visited this place for dinner. It is a beautiful place as it is fully based on Kolhapur.
You can visit with family and also with friends.
Theme was good enough, place is little small but everything is excellent.
We were welcome with kokam sherbet and kudai which is basically made of rice it is a type of papad.
They have different varieties in Thalis. With different taste of spices.

Located just near RTO Thane, MH 09 Shetkari is a typical Kolhapuri restuarant run by a family since 18 years. The menu includes very limited dishes hailing the legacy of Kolhapur. Their menu includes Thali, a few non vegetarian starters and beverages.
I tried Veg Thali which includes 2 bhakri, 2 vegetable preparations, varan, solkadhi, rice, onions, pickle, thecha, papad. You can choose from the variety of bhakri options like Rice bhakri, Jowari bhakri or Chapati. Cost of the Thali is ₹250. A little on the expensive side, but high on taste and experience.
Summarizing, this is a much recommended place for Non Vegeterian eaters as there are plenty of non vegetarian options and just Thali as an option for Vegeterian. It is a small place with non ac seating. I would recommend to reach early as the place is usually crowded.

So this is a family restaurant which offers Kolhapuri food and i loved the experience.
My order was mutton sukka thali and chicken thali which had a jwari bhakri with Tambda, pandhra rassa. Can be had by one person and solkadi which is a cheery on cake. Would suggest this place to have authentic Kolhapuri food. Cheers.
This is a small place located in Thane which is more than the walkable distance from Thane station. The ambiance here is good and all you can eat over here are Thalis . The thalis have ample food and are justified for their price. Service is quite fast and the Taste is also very appealing. They have unlimited rassa and the thecha is spectacular.
Saturday evening me and my friends started craving for authentic Maharashtrian food. So 1 of our friend recommended this beautiful Kolhapuri food restaurant. MH 09 Shetkari offers great non- vegetarian thalis. They serve Mutton thali and Chicken thali which consist of Kolhapur’s tambda and pandhara rasa. If you are die hard non-veg fan then this restaurant should be added in your food bucket list.

MH 09 Shetkari, is a typical place to have a typical and authentic Kolhapuri style food. You will just love their food especially if you are assal Kolhapuri food lover. Their amazing and zanzanit Tambda and Pandhra rassa will take you away to Kolhapur as you get an authentic feeling when you have it .
Go here just for the assal kolhapuri food experience and im damn sure foodies are gonna hell like it alot.
They have few dishes like you will have in Kolhaphr, and hence you dont have many options to pick from.

MH09 Shetkari is located at Panch Pakhadi at Thane West. The restaurant is a theme based restaurant and are well know for their Konkan cuisine. The seating arrangements and their interiors match the theme and really gives you the feeling of the theme that the restaurant is going for. MH09, located in Thane, is a place where you will get probably the most authentic Kolhapuri food in Mumbai. It is a nice and small little place located near the highway that serves great food. They also offer Kokam Sharbat and some munchies to people before their orders arrive. I tried the Chicken and Mutton Masala Fry, they were definitely very spicy, as all Kolhapuri dishes typically are, but at the same time tasted really great. The masala used these dishes was absolutely amazing and mouthwatering. I also ordered a Chicken Thaali. It was quite big and had a lot of things to eat. The size of the Bhakri was astonishing. My favourite items were the Tambda and Pandhara Rassa. The staff a very polite, courteous and patient and the service was prompt as well. Definitely a great place to enjoy authentic Kolhapuri food in Mumbai.
Finally a place in thane which serves authentic Kolhapuri food. A small outlet near highway MH09 shetkari serves a limited yet tasty kolhapuri delicacies. We tried Mutton Thali and the size of the bhakri made our eyes pop out. It was fluffy and loved the taste. The mutton gravy was good however my favorite was tambda rasa. They also serve kokam sarbat Nd some papad munchies while u wait for ur thali to be served. Yes the food is Kolhapuri so it’s a little spicy Nd oily but u should give it a try for sure.

Tried this place out to explore on some delicious Kolhapuri delicacies. The place has a nice ambience mainly fit for families. Anybody who wants to try the best of Kolhapur food should go here. We loved the Kolhapuri Mutton Thali. The spread was delicious with all authentic Kolhapur style flavoured gravies. Another gem was the Chicken Kharda, definitely a must have from here. It has a really different spiced up flavour you can't get enough of. Loved the experience here and recommend everyone around to visit.

They serve their lines well that Kolhapuri is not just spicy, its a unique taste. We were served with Kokam Sarbat as a complimentary welcome drink and Kurdai (a type of fryums).
The service was quick and amazing. The owner and staffs are constantly on floor understanding customer's needs. Suggestions are great.

-The best dishes that I would suggest would be;

This restaurant is located in thane west. from thane station it's just 12 to 15 min away by auto rickshaw they will charge you around 30rs tell them to drop you at Panch Pakhdi, green road also easily located by Google map. I visited this place for 1st time and here is my experience.
The place is small but neat and clean. It can accommodate only 20 to 25 people once. Sitting arregment not specious but it's comfortable. Service is appreciative and staff is welcoming. waiters were attentive and also take care if you need anything meanwhile you having your food. Also you don't have to wait too much for food after placing your order. Overall service quick.
Let's talk about food as name suggest MH-09 SHETKARI the mh-09 from the name derive the location of kolhapur and shetkari means farmer they serve best kolhapuri food out there in thane, also they use typical home made spice mixture in their food and it add extra taste to the food.
I tried chicken thali here and it is one of the best chicken thali i ever tried till with some kolhapuri taste. In thali they serve egg curry, kholapur's famous tambda & pandhra rassa, masale bhat (rice) , dahi kanda (yogurt and onion) and bhakri & chapati.
i suggest you to try jwari bhakri i had tried jwari bhakri so many times on other places but here they serve one of the best jwari bhakri. One must definitely try it!
Overall nice place to have some maharashtrian & kolhapuri food. you can visit this place with friends, family or with loved once.

Today we visited MH09Shetkari Thane , as we seated we were quite excited to try out the authentic Kolhapuri thali , starting with starter some spicy chicken and mutton recipes both were delicious then tried a mutton fry thali which have tambda Ras, pandhra. Ras , jwari bhkhadi , egg curry , mutton was perfectly cooked and gravy was yummy. If you love & want to enjoy authentic Kolhapuri thali then you should visit this place. You will love it Should go 👍
Best place for family to have kolhapuri non veg food. They have the best kolhapuri food in Mumbai. I liked the chicken and motton fry the most. And I liked the chicken thali from this place alot. This is the only restaurant I can enjoy kolhapuri food as its focus is on taste along with spice. Most places just give very spicy food in name of kolhapuri. Would I rather not have chillis instead of wasting my money? Anyway the mutton thali is standout. Price although high, the dishesh are very high quality so never thought its expensive. One of the best and authentic restaurant in thane offering Kolhapuri food. And when it comes to Kolhapuri food “Tamda Pandra rassa tar zalach pahije”. This place is located in Louis wadi. This place comes with comfortable seats and beautiful ambience with traditional look and classic wall paintings. Coming to the food it was a great experience of tasting delicious food. When i get to hear MH09 it directly reminds of Kolhapur and Kolhapur reminds me of Pandra Rassa And Tambda Rassa! This place was on my bucket list since long time and finally I visited this place on Wednesday Afternoon! And Being Wednesday Lunch This Place Was Totally Full! I had to wait for 25mins tho! This place very small of 6-7 Tables but the food gives us a good compensation! The food is just brillant! And even the service is very fast! The menu is quite limited but yes damn tasty! This place is quite famous for Thalis i.e Chicken and Mutton Thali!

The spice level was just right which meant that we could taste the original flavour of the meats. It's a small and cozy place in a quiet neighbourhood. Then they have chicken kharda cooked with Mirchi cha thecha a dish straight out of Kolhapur. Even the bhakari has a kolhapuri essence to it.

This is a proper restaurant which specialises in Kolhapuri cuisines which is known for its spicy food.
The ambience of the is also quiet good , it feels as if we are inside a house which is surrounded by various photo frames which remind us about kolhapur.
They gave me complimentary deep fried white coloured papad like dish along with a small cup of kokam juice.
I ordered multiple dishes from here like -
1) mutton ghee roast - this comes in the starter section. Ghee fried mutton pieces filled with kolhapuri masala. The mutton was perfectly cooked and the meat was very tasty. This is a nice start for a meal before the mains.
2) kharda chicken - a chicken dish made with onion and garlic paste cooked with kolhapuri masala. This is a must try dish from here. It tatsed amazing with the jowar bhakari.
3) jowar bhakari - if you ever come here to have the food then tell them to get you the jowar bhakari. It is one of the best type of rotis I ever had.

Hotel Mh09 shetkari is best hotel for non veg (Mutton and chicken) lovers. It is located in Louis wadi Thane. We tried mutton thali, chicken thali, Alni bhat and Modak. All items had authentic taste. They have options in mutton / chicken thali like Chappati, Jowar bhakari and rice bhakari. Staff is very co-operative and explain us the dishes and help us to choose dishes as per our choice. Alni Bhat (rice) is most recommended . They also serve vegetarian food.

This is a great place for meat lovers and especially those who love it. This place is in Thane. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience and comfortable seating. We just visited this place.
We have visited the most prestigious places in Thane for Kolhapuri food in Thane. A very nice restaurant that welcomes you home. The ambiance, the taste of the food and the service will definitely remind you of the village food from the cocoa syrup to the various mutton dishes. Sajuk Tupatla Modak. You will find everything here.
The staff here are very courteous and friendly. They were taking all safety and precautions. Trust me, you will never regret visiting this place. They have a lot to list and everything is so unique! The staff is very polite and the service is very fast. They were recommending us their best food. They have a variety of starters as well as main courses. I loved having some delicious food and enjoying the perfect atmosphere. The dessert we ordered at the end of the day was great. Overall we had a great time. This unique place is a must visit! Visited this restaurant in Thane, tried their amazing Kolhapuri cuisine. It lived up to the expectations of the authentic Kolhapuri food. Really loved the taste, the portions were pretty stomach filling. The place has AC and non AC accommodation, it serves warm homely food. The service the pretty quick!

Recently visited this authentic place , its concept is really simple and amazing also ambiance is well maintained, staff is friendly and served us well .This place really reminded me of my village with the taste of its food .
The place played mostly marathi music which was nice .

General composition of thalis were tambda rassa , pandhra rassa , egg curry , solkadi , onion , lemon . They varied in the type of mutton / chicken they are served along with gravy or fried/sukkha mutton/chicken. All of the thalis were superb and tasted delicious u can go for any of it.
You can enjoy these different thali with either Rice bhakhri / Jwari chi bhakhari .
Masala rice was served at the end .

Excellent food. Pure kolhapuri taste. Food has adequate portions, the servers and owner is super friendly. 11/10 would go again. Couldn’t even take photos of the food before because it was too delicious.

Coming to the food we order
1. Chicken masala thali
Chicken masala with jawari bhakri , tamda pandhra rassa , minced chicken in indian spices with onions dipped in yogurt, solkadhi and masala rice are the constituents of thali.
I would personally suggest to try this thali once !
2. Mutton thali
Juicy mutton pieces in indian spices were mouthwatering ,loved it.

Located in the Pachpakhadi area of Thane city. There are two shops next to ech other. One is air conditioned while another is non AC. There are about Four tables in non ac side, hence there is always someone nearby for your needs.

"MH09 Shetkari", as the name says likewise it is an authentic Kolhapuri restaurant which serves delicious food. This restaurant is mainly for nonveg lovers as their two special dishes are Kolhapuri chicken fry thali and the other one is Kolhapuri mutton thali. Truly speaking we ordered these two and both of them were absolutely fantastic. To go in detail I would say chicken fry was very well cooked and fried and the taste of it is still on my tongue. And when it comes to mutton it was delectable as well. The two symbolic curries of Kolhapur by the name "Tambda Rassa" and "Pandhra Rassa" were served in both the dishes and they were mouth-watering. I got that authentic taste of Kolhapur in this particular restaurant
Talking about the ambience, it was great as we could feel the richness and royal treatment of Kolhapur. The utensils were immaculate and everything was placed properly
Service was quick and prompt. And I liked the proactiveness of the people working at the place as they were constantly looking after this that we are been treated and served well and our dish is not empty till we are finished having our food
Coming to the affordability part, well it is subjective for sure but if you ask me I felt it is pretty much a pocket-friendly kind of a restaurant and according to the charges they give us a comprehensive dish filled with amazing food

MH09 Shetkari is one of that hidden gem restaurant nestled in the bylanes of Thane district. What if you can’t go all the way to Kolhapur…MH09 brings you that authentic taste of Kolhapuri cuisines as their spices are home made. Menu isn’t that big enough but when you get quality over quantity is what we always look for. Apart from the individual dishes/curries they have 4 different thalis which are cooked to perfection.
