Copper Chimney is a brand backed by great legacy. Over the years I have visited many of it's outlets including it's iconic Worli and Kala Ghoda outlets. Though Thane is right in my back yard my visits to the Thane Copper Chimney have been very rare. The reason behind it being that the Thane Copper Chimney though good, sometimes fails to live up to the standards set by its other iconic outlets. The food items except chicken fail to live up to the standards. However the service factor remains unchanged. Let us deep dive into the the goods, the bads and the excellents of Copper Chimney, Thane

Food (3.5/5)

White Pepper Chicken Soup - For a brand like Copper Chimney, I still dont understand how they have only one non-veg soup on their menu. Even the one soup  they have lacks richness and aroma of a white pepper chicken soup. It also lacked some salt and the zest that comes along with a pepper soup. As a soup lover this being the only option was rather disappointing

Kadak Roomali Roti - A Copper Chimney orignal ordered with cheese on top and an ample amount of butter was a delight as always. Its definitely a must have Achari Chicken Tikka - Like the previous Copper Chimney Orignal, this dish was also an absolute marvel. The Chicken was succulent, soft and well marinated. It was a blast of flavor and melted like butter inside the mouth. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Lal Mirch Jhinga - Disappointment, the Prawns were either not fresh or were grossly undercooked. Never does a prawn dish leave my table unfinished but this one did.

Parda Gosht Biryani - Another Copper Chimney Orignal but a rather sub par experience. I have had this parda gosht biryani at the kala ghoda outlet and was an absolute delight. However, here it fails to meet expectations. The Mutton is a bit chewy and definitley doesnt seemed slow cooked as described in their menu. Even the rice seemed to be not rich enough. Higher expectations from an orignal were not met

Service (5/5) Our server was Shivaji and he ensured everything on the Service side was absolutely perfect. They were attentive yet gave space. Tables were cleaned after every course and plates were changed when they were needed to be. They made us feel like we were at a Copper Chimney. They also knew their menu pretty well and had a recommendation or two ready whenever I needed one. The team was also graciously taking in the negative points I offered with an attitude of developing on it. So Kudos to team Copper Chimney for the sublime service

Ambiene (4.5/5) Typically Copper Chimney, with their spice racks and copper vessels hanging around. Their tables are ridiculously spacious and comfortable. The vibe is very calm and quiet, with very soft music playing in the back ground. No complaints on this end at all.

All and all Copper Chimney is a good experience, at Thane it somehow falls short of it's marquee counterparts but still doest shine too dull. It surely worth your visit.....Bon Appétit

Having such positive experience after reading other reviews was really a surprise. This place has trained their staff so well, very courteous and well behaved❤️ Typical family place & perfect place for lunch / dinner🔥
Food served by them was so mouthwatering and worth every penny😋 We were soo overwhelmed by taste and everything that we ended up over eating. Sanjay , Sagayraj served us in such decent and perfect manner moreover the manager Sailesh also kept a check on every tables needs and people satisfaction which is not very common.
1. Ab-E-Hayat Soup : Coconut water based chopped veggies. Great taste😍 Very healthy and healthy as well.
2. Seekh Kebab : Crispy veg kebabs well grilled.
3. Roast Paneer : Paneer tikka masala well marinated and grilled. The coating tasted well & was uniformly distributed
4. Spiced Punjabi Potato : Diced potatoes with spicy gravy. Tasted amazing!
5. Multi grain tandoori & whole wheat rumali made a great combo with the potato vegetable
6. Kiwi Fruit 🥝 Margarita : mocktail with kiwi diced which were really good in taste!
7. Long Island ice tea🌴 : great taste! Hits just right and refreshing drink for mind.
8. Gulab Jamun : small cute soft yummy balls 😋

I've always enjoyed copper chimney. The restaurant brand has been around since before opening a new concept restaurant was a cool thing to do in town.

The ambiance is perfect for families and large settings. For starters we tried the lamb burra chops. The massive ribs are served in tandoori masala. Cooked to perfection, it is moist with chunky meat bits and delicious to have. We also had the white pepper chicken chops that again were delicious and tandoored to perfection. Along with these mains we had the spicy Jaljeera and Dilli Shikanji for mocktails. Their chatpata flavours kept us energised throughout. Spicy and packed with flavour, both were superb to have along with our Indian starters.

For mains we had the succulent Butter chicken which had mosit and tasty chunky bits of chicken in the perfectly balanced sweet and masaledar butter chicken gravy.
And when you are in copper chimney you absolutely cannot miss the Rogan Ghosh! The chunky pieces of mutton in the flavourful gravy were really satisfying to gorge in. And offcourse Dal makhani - Maharaja one is the best vegetarian dish on their menu. Dipped my whole wheat roomali into this beauty and really it was something else altogether. For the dessert we had the Muzzarfar which was basically think Rabdi served with roasted candied vermicilli and pistachio. Absolutely delicious and a perfect end to our meal. We have to commend our serve Om prakash for the superbly prompt service, fine suggestions and for assingnti the hospitality experience overall. Definitely a place I'm going to visit soon again and you should too!

Copper Chimney honestly does not need any introduction. It is one of the oldest fine dining names in the city. They have grown over the years and today have multiple outlets across the city. We went to the one at Viviana Mall on the evening of HOLI.

The outlet is very well spaced out and the interiors give a very royal feel. The ambience is top class. The place also offers supreme hospitality. You can be rest assured that you will be well taken care of by their staff. We were served by Mr. Kiran and Mr. Shailesh his supervisor was constantly around ensuring that everything is up to the mark. We also got a chance to interact with the chef Mr. Ajay who was extremely courteous.

Coming to the food, we ordered for the below dishes , drinks and desserts:

1. White Pepper chicken soup
2. Lal Mirch Jhinga
3. Tandoori Grilled Fish Tikka
4. Mutton Seekh Kebab
5. Skewered chicken Kofta
6. Kadai Roomali cheese masala papad

All the starters were to die for. The prawns stole the show. They were just amazing, the size the freshness and the marination was just perfect.

For drinks we had the below cocktails and mocktails -

Cocktails
1. Indian LIIT - the coconut water added the Indian twist.
2. Khatta Panna - Mango based cocktail
3. Margarita Strawberry

Mocktails

1. Blue Breeze
2. Kiwi Fresh Fruit Margarita

All the drinks were refreshing. The cocktails had a nice punch to it.

The best is always reserved for the last. For desserts we had,

1. Muzaffar - thick and rich Lucknowi Rabdi topped with golden roasted vermicelli.one of the best desserts I have had. It’s praise worthy.
2. Rasmalai - this dessert doesn’t really need a description. It was good but Muzaffar was better.

Had a really memorable dining experience. Will certainly recommend all to try the mouth watering dishes and superb hospitality.

Copper chimney, a legendary outlet which has been around from 1972 and almost every generation of my family has been here for great family meals. The secret recipes from Peshawar to Delhi are plated out here and the method of slow cooking is the theme. The food here is best eaten with hands and the earthy feel of the north west frontier cuisine is so nostalgic and reminds one of the food of the bygone eras before partition happened.
We were served here with a lot of love and attention by Mr. Priyansh and i must say it was hospitality at its best. We tried some of the house specials and truly they managed to mesmerise us.

1. Spicy cheese naans. These were made from cheddar cheese and green chillies stuffed inside a naan and served piping hot. Ideal dish for cheese lovers and pretty delicious as we found them savoury and crispy.
2. Hung yogurt tikka. Dahi Kebabs made perfectly crispy on the outside and melt in the mouth soft on the inside. Loved the garnish of the potato sev on these to add to the crunch in each bite. A fantastic dish.
3. Tandoori Dhaba aloo. 2 types of marinations were used, Green mint chutney and red curd based. Tasted good but not really worth judging much about. They were quite basic.
4. Chowk ki subzi. A mix vegetables semi dry curry with baby potatoes, cauliflower, green peas and capsicum tossed In a spicy tomato onion gravy. Was excellent and had a very homely touch.
5. Dal with double tadka. Was fantastic. Really good
6. Onion and chilly roti. A nice variation in the Indian bread. Was super crispy and buttery.
7. Jeera rice. Don’t miss this for the world. The ghee flavour is so delectable that I couldn’t stop at one bite.
8. Muzaffar. One of the The best desserts in the house. It was thick luscious rabdi served with crispy golden roasted vermicelli. The rabdi was a bit sweeter than my liking but was just difficult to stop eating. The soft rabdi with the crunch of the crispy vermicelli was like a bite made in heaven. Must order here.

Overall I can say this place needs no publicity as the full house packed crowd here displays its fame and popularity. A must try for all the north west frontier cuisine fans.

Copper chimney is one of the finest restaurants to dine in. They have few more outlets , I have been to their chembur outlet and recently visited this one at thane .

The best thing I love about here is the Indian taste of the food , it a perfect place for those traditional food cravings .

I personally find it to be the perfect dining place with friends and family. We had,

1.  Achari whiskey: A whiskey with some strong flavours of pickle , would recommend this only if you love experimenting with your drink. It has a strong tangy flavour.

2.  Kadak Roomali roti : Would highly recommend this, I loved it absolutely . It’s a crispy roomali roti with butter chilli and some onions & tomatoes .

3.  Grilled Burrah Chops : Cinnamon scented tender lamb chops marinated and chargrilled . It is just perfectly marinated definitely a try if you a lamb lover.

4.  Lal Mirch Jinga : To start with the size of the prawns were big , the quantity was good . The prawns were marinated and roasted in chillies with a hint of Carmon seeds.

5.  Tandoori Fire Chicken : Chicken marinated in Yoghurt , stuff cheese , fresh mint and coriander with secret mix of spices . The chicken was amazing and the spices justed added up some more flavours.

6.  Murg Boti Dum Biryani : Tandoor roasted chicken tikka , layered with saffron rice and dum cooked .

7.  Chicken Rahra : Boneless chicken marinated in roasted spices with tomato and onion gravy .

8.  Almond phirni chicki crumble : It’s the chilled rice phirni with some chicki , nuts and fruits .

Overall I absolutely this place , the quality , quantity , taste everything was upto the mark and impressive.

Definitely check this place out for some amazing food .

Happy hogging!

The very famous Copper Chimney needs no introduction. It is well know for it's delicious Indian food. The ambience is welcoming. The staff is very polite and attentive. We were served by Harish Patil who was always at our service and served with a smiling face. He was well aware of the entire menu and recommended us their best sellers.

Moving to food, I called for the below:

Starters:
1. Tandoori Shashlik
Cauliflower florets, paneer and baby potato straight out of the tandoor. It has a good portion size and is very filling.

2. Paneer Corn Seekh
I found this very dry. It would taste better if the filling can be a little moist.

Mains
3. Kadhai Paneer (MUST TRY)
The kadhai masala tasted superb. The paneer cubes are soft and they melt in your mouth.

4. Chura Paratha & Lachcha Paratha
Chura Paratha is a crunchy lachcha paratha. Both of these went perfectly well with the Kadhai Paneer.

Mocktails:
5. Virgin Pinacolada
This was thick and tasted great. No one flavor was overpowering the other. It was all blended well.

6. Passion and Peach Frozen Margarita
I really liked this mocktail. It was refreshing and tasted great.

Dessert:
7. Muzaffar (MUST TRY)
I fell in love with this rich Lucknowi Rabdi. I highly recommend this dessert. One of their best seller.

All in all it was a great experience. I would definitely visit again to try out their very famous and very tasty Rasmalai.

Legendary place whenever we think of the brand Copper Chimney.

Supreme Hospitality , ambience complimented with some mouth watering food .

Our food recommendations for all of you .

Veg Kebabs Platter :
When you want to give a try to their all legendary appetizers then this platter is the best thing to happen. Malai Seekh , paneer tikka , cheese stuffed mushrooms were our personal favourite on that Platter .

Pinnacolada , Delhi Shikanji & Kalakhatta Jaljeera are best mocktails of the house .

Kadak Masala Rumali Roti is the best to compliment with the above drinks .

Paneer Butter Masala has a nice tangy creamy richness within it . Malai kofta dumplings were so soft that they just melts in your mouth to blend with delicious gravy . We went for Aloo and Onion stuffed Kulcha with those gravies .

Dal Makhani with jeera rice are not to be missed towards the conclusion of your meal over here.

Ras Malai and Patiala Kulfi Falooda are house speciality in the dessert section .

Over all a scrummy experience as always .

Thank You for reading our Review.

Happy Fooding .

What I ordered
➡️ Chicken skewered kofta for appetizer: This is definitely a must have! It melts in your mouth. And the flavours are so rich. It's my absolute favourite from this restaurant. (5/5)
➡️ Rumali roti: Loved it! No complaints here.(we chose the whole wheat option).(5/5)
➡️ Paneer paratha: Delicious, a little crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.(5/5)
➡️ Machchi rahra: loved the flavours and the richness in it's taste. It's more towards the spicy side. I'm disappointed with the quantity served though. I ordered for half plate which had a very small piece of fish. Definitely not worth the price. But again, the taste was just too good. (3/5)
➡️ Muzaffar for dessert: This is a type of rabdi. Although it was rich in taste, the quantity can be a bit too much for two people.(4/5)

What I loved about this place 😍
😍 The ambience.
😍 It's rich history.
😍The delicious, delicious food.
😍The very accommodating staff.
😍The quick and effecient service.

What I disliked about this place 👎🏼☹️
👎🏼 Our plates had a few, small strands of hair.
👎🏼 The quantity of one of their dishes.

Overall I would recommend this place for good Indian food 👌

Copper Chimney
When we talk about fine dine Indian restaurant which gives you most comfort then one name comes in your mind is Copper Chimney. The best fine dine restaurant for Indian cuisine I can say,

Located on top most floor of Viviana mall which can be said the most famous mall of thane.
The interior gives the grand feel of the restaurant which is started way back in 1972. The black & white photo frames at the entrance with veteran Bollywood star dilip kumar and many others says the legacy of this restaurant. Ambience has few of the particular crockeries which are used in old days in India. Seating is very comfortable and mainly all the seating has couches with big size tables.

Food menu has all the authentic traditional Indian cuisine dishes to offer you. Few of the dishes are authentic and few are served in a modern style. Beverage department also takes front seat with nice cocktails and mocktails. Plating of the authentic dishes are done in style considering current trend but yes, the taste of the food is just perfect. We tried delhi ki shikanji which is the must try drink. Refreshing mint and fizzy, a perfect order at the start. Watermelon zest is another mocktail what we liked, fresh and refreshing.

KADAK ROOMALI (Starter)- The invention of this kadak roomali masala as a starter was initially done at copper chimney. Roomali roti cooked more so it becomes crispy and then inside area is garnished with onion tomato as it is done for masala papad. We ordered chilli butter masala flavor so they applied chilli butter inside once it was crispy. (5/5)

BHATTI DA MURGH (Starter)- Chicken chunks marinated in their secret Bhatti masala and then cooked in tandoor. It was marinated well and had touch of nutmeg and black pepper, can say after taste. (5/5)

CHUTNEY FISH (Starter) - fish marinated in green chutney and then cooked further. It was served on the rice which was tossed in ghee and topped with cooked fish. Loved the fish taste. (4.5/5)

LAAL MIRCH KA JHING (Starter) – Tiger prawns marinated in jodhpuri red chilli powder along with other tandoori margination and then it was cooked in tandoor. It was served with tail on, along with some side salad. Loved the doneness of prawns, just perfect. Must order dish from their menu. (5/5)

MUTTON ROGAN JOSH (Mains)- A favorite Kashmiri dish of mutton. Consistency of the gravy was very good so does the taste. Mutton was cooked so well, was melting in mouth. Loved it with garlic butter naan. (5/5)

WHEAT RUMALI ROTI- Normally rumali roti is comfort for me, here it was made with wheat and not maida. (5/5)

PARDA GOSHT BIRYANI (Mains)- Mutton biryani served in a dum style. Wasn’t really happy with it. It was more like rice tossed in spicy mutton masala and given. It had no mint, no soothing texture what you get after eating northen biryanis. Didn’t like at all. It was served along with raita. (2/5)

MUZAFFAR (Dessert)- Thick lucknowi rabdi toppes with ghee roasted sevvayya(Vermicelli) and garnished with sliced dry fruits. Loved the fresh rabdi which was served. (4.5/5)

GULABJAMUN(Dessert)- Small Angoor size gulabjams made and served in a bowl along with saffron sugar syrup. Loved those small gulabjam idea and they were garnished with chopped almonds. Must order I can say. (5/5)

This is a known name when it comes to North Indian food. Have been to multiple copper chimneys in India but this one is close to my place.

Ambiance - the place is farely large and have good seating arrangements. They have an open kitchen concept so you can see the chefs at work.

Food - a variety of food to choose from. My personal favorites are
Starters - Bhatti Murg Tikka, Grilled Burrah chops
Main Course -  Murg makhani combined with roomali roti or garlic naan (whichever one prefers :) )
End the meal with a Gulab Jamun if you wish.
The food is good and quantities are sufficient. A decent place to go to for a family dinner.

Cheers !!

Copper Chimney is my all time favourite restaurant for Indian food. Visited this place for dinner yesterday. Had the Roomali Roti Khakhra kind of thing with cheese chilly and vegetables. It was amazing. Then we had Tawa Sabzi, Multigrain Roti and Chur Paratha. I would recommend the Chur Paratha, it is really crispy and tastes good with indian curries. Then the taste of Tawa Sabzi was also very good. We had the full portion size which is pretty generous.

Whether you are a vegetarian or a meat eater, you would not leave here unsatisfied with the food. Their food menu features recipes that celebrate cuisines from Peshawar to Delhi. Expect to gorge on dishes like #Kadak Roomali
#Mutton Rogan Josh
#Kheema Biryani
#Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms
#Mutton Seekh Kebab’ and much more.
The drinks menu also includes Street Coolers like
#Delhi Shikanji

Copper Chimney has been an experience our heritage and culture, in form of Food.

It makes you revisit your memory of food, unlike no other place, and is a journey and an experience worth taking.

We at Copper Chimney Tried

Chilli Butter Masala Kadak Roomali (4.5/5)

The Chilli Butter Masala Kadak Roomali, is an amazing start to our dinner palate, and it re-envisions the age old Masala Papad, and gives it a tastier twist.

Achari Chicken Tikka (5/5)

The Achari Chicken Tikka, was just a glimpse into the amazing tandoor, that Copper Chimney is famous for. And with this delicious treat, they proved, why they are the best in the business of Kebabs.

Reshmi Tikka (5/5)

The Reshmi Tikka, was one of the best I have tasted in Mumbai, and just adds to the Value of the restaurant. Both the tandoori kebabs were a treat like nothing else.

Butter Chicken (4/5)

The Butter Chicken was as original and as classic as a serving of Butter Chicken could be. This was Classic, Original and Tangy. The Breads with the Butter Chicken just added to the delicacy.

PS. The Roomali Roti and Wheat Roti, with the Butter Chicken was a delicious addition. It was a combination like only a few.

Peach Iced Tea (5/5)
The Peach Iced Tea was as refreshing as an Iced Tea could be!

In All, For An Amazing Journey of Food and especially Tandoor and Kebabs, Copper Chimney is a place to must visit.

Copper Chimney is one of the most reputed and famous restaurant across mumbai and thane city. There are four outlets, Three in mumbai and one in thane. When we first approached the restaurant in thane outlet we were humbly welcomed and escorted to the table. The first thing as restaurant ethics we all know which is to see Plates placed already on the table and that the table is not empty which was just right with chopper chimney. After we have our seat on table we were given menu to look around for foods which we had less clue, to which we were looking for assistance regarding what are the keen dishes of this restaurant. To which manager and the server attendent gave a precise details about it. The staff was very responsive about serving food or to help with any basic need right on the table without raising voice. The following dishes we tried

Dishes name:

1) Paneer Tikka

2) Vegetable seekh kabab

3) Resmi kabab

4) Achari chicken tikka

5) Virgin mojito

6) Pina colada

7) Kadak roomali chill butter masala

8) Paneer masala

9) Chowk ke sabzi

10) Tandoori roti

1) Paneer Tikka -

Made of fresh paneer marinated with sharp mustard and turmeric and white pepper and yoghurt. The taste was spicy and delicious.

2) Vegetable seekh Kabab -

Another starter made of minced vegetables with combination of Coriander, mint and spices.

3) reshmi kabab:

soft chicken marinated with yoghurt and cream was delightful in taste grilled just over the surface giving away flavour of white pepper and cardamom was extremely delicious.

4) Achari chicken tikka:

chicken kababs grilled and sprinkled with spices gave us a good taste of chargrilled flavour which truly delicious in taste and presentation.

5) virgin mojito:

Taste and flavour of lemon and coriander leaves with was immense.

6) Pina colada:

Taste of blue Citrius and soda was joyful to have.

7) Kadak roomali chill butter masala:

This one we recommend to try as it is the speciality of the copper chimney. Made of thin-bread roasted with topping of chilli butter masala. The taste was awesome.

8) Paneer masala :

Another speciality of copper chimney. This is medium spicy in taste, this sabzi is made of paneer simmered in a buttery and tomato gravy. This was very good in taste and good combination with roti.

9) Chowk ke sabzi :

Combination of baby potatoes, brinjal, cauliflower, peas and peppers tossed with onion which was spicy in taste.

The over all experience with copper chimney was amazing from food to service everything was upto mark.

Must visit this restaurant!!!

Had a sumptuous meal at Copper Chimney
Ordered:
Chandani Chowk Chaat- chickpeas doused is sweetened curd and flavoured with tamarind and green chutney. This was a good start indeed!

Blue Breeze- A nice, mild mocktail to sip on during this scorching heat!

Kiwi Margarita- Kiwi chunk infused chilled margarita, served with a wedge on kiwi sitting on the brim on the glass. S beautiful and refreshing drink!

Reshmi Chicken Kebab- A bland boneless dish, which complemented all the spicy dishes laid on the table.

Roast Paneer- Paneer marinated in a spicy blend and cooked to perfection! The paneer literally melted in the mouth, enjoyed every bit of it!

Mutton Burrah Chops- 3 pieces of mutton chops served in a platter with fresh salad. The mutton was well roasted on the outside, however the inside had portions which still felt raw and undercooked. Presentation was class apart!

Dark Chocolate Mousse- A glass with thick dark chocolate mousse, topped with chocochips and served with a cookie! A Rich and sweet end to a great meal at Copper Chimney.

Can't wait to visit again!

Perfectionists. Need I say more?

Unequivocally one of the most famous restaurants in Indias financial and entertainment capital, Mumbai for authentic & delicious moghlai food, Cooper Chimney lives up well to its name. This lounge in Thane is no exception.

The decor, as expected is elegant and historic, the staff professional and the ambience perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends.

With fresh ingredients, Vegan options, home-made spices, great seafood options and generous portions, you will relish every morsel of your meal at this lovely restaurant.

Copper Chimney has been demonstrating exemplary customer services, they even suggest some highly recommended dishes in between your orders. Every single time, whatever I ordered was cooked to perfection.

Vegans and Jains can rejoice dishes like Tawa Imli Aloo, Achari Mushrooms and Veg Seekh Kebab often served with mint chutney.

We tried another vegan dish, Roomali Roti Papad which is an absolute must have. If you eat Seafood, for starters one can try Tandoor Grilled Fish Tikka and Red Chilli Zhinga and Tawa Fry Fish.

Copper Chimney is also known for one of the best Bhuna Goshts in the city. Butter Chicken here goes as per the Mumbai Moghlai touch. It's different. Rotis here are mouth-watering. Try their Punjabi Mirch Kulcha.

Deserts and Cocktails are top notch. One cannot resist desserts like Muzzafar and Rabri Rasmalai.

Highly Recommended!

Copper chimney is one of the oldest and famous restaurant chain in Mumbai and now it has opened in Thane as well..

Ambiance: So the ambiance of the place is amazing with the view in the kitchen where you can see the chefs preparing seekh kebabs and tandoori rotis. The sitting arrangements are good and the place is good for small parties as well.

Food: Coming to the food I personally feel the place need to add some more dishes for their vegetarian customers. The menu has few options in the veg section. They also have a good buffet system available. So in Mocktails we had

1) Passion and peach frozen margarita (Highly Recommended): Its basically a slush mocktails with amazing presentation and taste. The taste of the peach is one greater side and the mocktail is refreshing as well..
2) Pina Colada : All time favourite drink doesn't need any explanation ❣️

In Food we had

1) Kadak Roomali ( Highly Recommended) : The starter is basically a kadak roomali roti severed with onions, tomatoes and sev we had it along with Butter masala.

2) Kadhai Paneer : A typical North Indian sabji having a tangy taste to it. You can feel the masala in every bite of it. We had it along with Churra paratha (recommended) and Punjabi Onion and Mirchi roti.

3) Vegetable Tawa Biryani ( Highly Recommended) : The biryani had an amazing taste and was one of my favourite items on the menu. It was served alongside Raita

4) Muzzafar ( Highly Recommended) It is basically the all time favourite desert i.e Rabdi. A must have desert to end you dinner with

A nice place with amazing ambiance. With just a few additions in the veg menu can help them boost more vegetarian customers in the restaurant. For non vegetarians this place is a must visit !!!

Copper Chimney at Viviana Mall is veey happing place with very much simplistic decor and very much comfortable seatings with different sections for larger groups too with enough seatings.

The place not only looks good but also the food here is luscious and tempting. And their staff is also very much obliging and interactive. And so is their service quick as lighting.

So we started of with some Mocktails to beat the summer heat like :

1. Passion and Peach Frozen Margarita (must try) : Could say it was the best what we had from all. The sweet passion fruit extract and golden peaches infused with ice and lemon. And even after the ice melts the flavour remains tge same.

2. Delhi Shikanji : Its their special drink all over from the streets of delhi blend of fresh lime with chaat masala & mint. Great fusions results in great taste.

Where it comes to food say they have some delectable starters with and their Spl. Kadak Roomali Cheese was something one would crave for and recommend to try it. Also the rest we tried was good enough like :

1. Hung Yoghurt Tikkis : Tikkis stuffed with hung yoghurt and cheese served with green chutney. It tasted good and was crisp from outside.

2. Roast Paneer : it tastes some what like Lahore paneer marinated with Khada masala. Fresh and spicy.

3. Dal Maharaja with Peas Pulao : It was Dal Makhani made in desi ghee with infusion of tomatoes which made it more tasty and the peas pulao was also made in ghee which makes the dish super tasty and the smell itself is satisfying.

And to end of the meal what could be better than some luscious and thik Rabdi dessert named Muzaffar.

Overall it was a great experience and would love to revisit ti try their remaining desserts.

Weekdays can be a little bit daunting when you have to decide where to lunch. Decided to check Copper Chimney's Thane outlet and was very much satisfied with the visit there.

On entering was shown to our table. The ambience is really good and it is definitely an upbeat place for family dining.

We ordered the following:-

MOCKTAILS:-

Delhi Shikanji:- A classic drink made by whipping up fresh lemon juice, mint leaves, and chaat masala. And boy does it taste good? Well absolutely Yes! The strong lemony mint flavor with that hint of the chaat masala is definitely worth trying.

Strawberry Chai Sherbet:- An iced tea infused with strawberry and apples.

Passion Fruit & Peach Frozen Margarita:- This is a sweet and tangy preparation made from passion fruit extract and peaches and classically blended with lemon and ice. The presentation of this drink was absolutely amazing with the drink presented in a salt-rimmed margarita glass. The taste was even more amazing. Definitely worth trying.

APPETIZERS:-

Kadak Roomali Chilli Masala Papad:- Very few places in the city serve Roomali Roti (a preparation of Handkerchief thin roti on an inverted tawa). The roti is toasted to a crispy form and topped with chili powder along with onions, tomatoes, and coriander along with a little bit of chaat masala. Apart from the classic chili papad, you can also opt from the various options with butter or cheese as well. The presentation is what makes this dish really stand out.

Hung Yoghurt Tikkis:- Absolutely yummy preparation of hung yogurt infused with chilies and cheese and coated with corn crumbs. Imagine biting into the crispy corn crumbs before the soft buttery hung yogurt hits your palate. So soft that it just melts in your mouth. Do definitely try this dish.

Bhatti Murg Tikka:- This is a classic Punjabi dish of chicken made in a Bhatti (tandoor) with lots of tandoor masala along with a dash of pepper powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon. The chicken was fresh and tender and was cooked really well.

Achari Mushroom:- A barbecued Haryanawi dish made with mushrooms and pickled spices.

Grilled Burrah Chops:- One of the main attractions at Copper Chimney's is this seared and chargrilled yet tender and juicy lamb chops. Initially, one of the original Copper Chimney signature dishes right from the time it started in 1972. This dish is influenced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (a province of Pakistan, located in the northwestern region of the country sharing international border with Afghanistan. This dish has been perfected over the decades. I was told that the lamb chops are actually marinated in the spices for over 8 hours and then it undergoes very skillful cooking to give that perfect flavour. The efforts are actually seen in the final dish that is kept in front of you. The meat is so tender and soft that it really melts the moment you bite into this Copper Chimney delicacy. Highly recommend this dish.

MAIN COURSE:-

Chowk Ke Subzi:- This is yet another dish like your tawa veg but the flavors more enhanced. Baby potatoes, brinjals, cauliflower, and peas are used to make this dish along with some potent spices that leave you wanting more. Highly recommend this dish.

Rogan Josh:- Copper Chimney signature classic dish of boneless lamb marinated in a secret 21-spice blend for 6 hours and slow cooked. The color of this thick gravy is actually because of the use of a special Kashmiri chilly spice-infused oil. One bit of these tender lamb and you just can't resist digging into it more. Absolutely worth every dime.

INDIAN BREADS:-

Wheat Roomali Roti:- Unlike the Roomali masala papad, this is a soft thin roti which is cooked on the inverted tawa. Traditionally Roomali roti is made by maida. In this case, they substituted it with Wheat.

Punjabi Onion & Mirchi Roti:- This dish will surely take you back through the Pinds or the villages of Punjab. Imagine your normal roti and then imagine it infused with spiced and onions, green chilies and coriander. One of their original dishes. Though over the period of time they have mellowed down on the spiciness of the roti (since not everyone can handle the spicy roti). I would have still preferred to have this roti as it was before when it got introduced ie Roti infused with onions, lots of green chilies and coriander.

DESSERTS:-

Almond Phirni Chikki Crumble:- This Indian dessert actually crushes all your imagination of what phirni is. I have had phirnis before but nothing like this one. This rice pudding was actually very very fresh and not very sweet at the same time. It was presented in a leaf-shaped ceramic bowl with Soan papdi, fresh Kiwi fruit, and Chikki. The combination of Kiwi fruit and also the Soan papdi along with the phirni is just amazing. However, in my personal opinion, the chikki was making the phirni too sweet. Probably the chikki can be replaced with some equivalent crunchy bites which is not very sweet or probably they can use a chikki which ain't this sweet. Overall this dish is quite good and does leave an impression in our minds.

Muzaffar:- This is one of the names that will remain in my mind till the next visit. Thick, Luscious and heartily indulgent rabdi presented in a leaf-shaped ceramic bowl with golden fried vermicelli. Now the dishes that we had since the time we arrived had got our tummy full and my friend couldn't even eat this more than a few spoons. I still managed to eat this truly yummiliciously divine rabdi and would have eaten another dish of the same yet again without complaining. A definitely must must have if you ever visit Copper Chimney.

Last but not the least a big shout out to Mr. Sunil and all the staff at Copper Chimney who ensured the hospitality extended was quite warm and welcoming. Mr Sunil also took time out to explain the history behind the signature Copper Chimney dishes. Also, I got to know that the Rotis that they dish out here are 100% vegetarian i.e. no eggs are used in the preparation of these Indian breads.

I would definitely visit this place if and when I crave for some authentic Indian cuisine.

One of the best place for a perfect family dining. They have everything that you want with impeccable food and wonderful ambiance. Such a huge place and can accommodate any group of people. Ambiance is bright. They have showcased different copper vessels and have a stack of different masalas at the entrance. They have a live kitchen where they make roomali rotis and also for roasting kebabs. The ambiance itself gives a good vibe.
Coming to what I had:
1. Passion Peach: Such a wonderful mocktail which had mountained ice with peach flavour. Every sip of it was amazing. Must try.
2. Blue Breeze Mocktail: It had a blend of lemon flavour for refreshing your taste buds.
3. Kadak Roomali In Chilli Butter Masala: Having masala papad has become too mainstream now. Such a huge kadak roomali roti which had doom shape topped with loads of ghee, onions, tomatoes, corriander leaves, chilli powder and some special masalas. A good start to having a wonderful dinner.
4. Grilled Burrah Chops: Mutton chops are good for health. It was marinated in some good masalas and then grilled perfectly. Couldn't have been more better. Must try.
5. Roast Paneer: It had a bit of gravy and the paneer was extremely tender. Wonderful taste it had. Must try.
6. Paneer Masala: A thick gravy with sufficient pieces of paneer. Good one.
7. Chicken Bharta: Again the gravy here was thick and chicken pieces were in good quantity. A good dhaba style food to the rescue.
8. Roomali Roti: It wasnt chewy and went well with the above gravies.
9. Gulab Jamun: They serve mini gulab jamun of 9 pieces so soft and cute. A good sweet tooth after so much of food.

Fortunate enough to visit such a wonderful place with extraordinary service, wonderful staff and delicious food. Loved every bit of it.

A few days ago went for lunch to Copper Chimney !! I went to the Thane outlet and had great expectations!! And why not !! With such an old track record of being one of the finest fine dine Moghlai restaurants in Mumbai and other cities now as well, it definitely does meet our expectations!! It is located in Viviana mall Thane and has outlets other places too! The place is nice with an inviting ambience! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Mocktails we had were Masala Cola and Mint Shikanji - both were great !!
Then we had Ab e Hayat soup which was light veggie soup with coconut water flavored with celery !
The first starter we had was this kadak ( stiff) roomali roti and it was heavenly with the butter and masalas and onion tomato chillies !! I am not going back to normal masala papad now😢!! I loved this roomali roti version ! Dahi ke kabab were decent too !!
We also had a mixed veg platter which had roast paneer, tandoori aloo, veg Sheekh kabab and achari mushroom ( this was my favorite).
For mains we ordered Chowk mix veg, paneer masala, dal maharaja, paneer dum biryani, boondi raita, and multigrain rotis. It was excellent!! The dal was slow cooked for more than 12 hours !!
For dessert we had their popular Muzzaffar which is a thick rabdi with roasted vermicelli, lovely!!food👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The service was super and attention was given to us at the right moments! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Highly highly recommended!

A place for Indian food lovers. Equally happening for both vegetarian and non vegetarian food lovers. The space is well lit and the ambience is awesome. Well planned seats arrangement so don’t worry if you have a big family. The stewards are very polite and friendly. The kitchen is open and anyone can have a peek for a personal satisfaction on cleanliness. The buffet is well planned with good varieties and they ensure it’s kept updated on all time. The kebabs were very soft and juicy inspite of being cooked in a tandoor. The Gosht was also very tender and in spite of me not being a mutton lover, relished it.
I loved this place. 😍

Copper chimney has various outlets in Mumbai. I visited this one in Viviana mall in Thane. Such a beautiful place with subtle Ambience. Went here for having dinner and specially for tasting their lipsmacking cocktails.

Food & drinks I ordered:

1. Karari roti: I was dying to try this one, this is like a better version of masala papad. It is semi circular in shape with raw onions & tomatoes on it with good amount of butter, Chili powder. Such a fulfilling thing to eat.

2. Paneer & corn kebab: extremely soft & delicious kebab with sweetness of golden corn perfect starter for dinner.

3. Tawa biryani: Cooked rice tossed with carrots, peas, tomatoes, onions, capsicum, whole spices and pav bhaji masala. Served with raita I've ordered extra boondi raita with it.

4. Achari whiskey: deadly combination of whiskey served with achar. It was so amazing but more you take time to finish more intense it will become.

5. Delhi ki shikanji: shikanji is always made with fresh lemon juice and spiced with some black salt and some pepper, this was its own unique version with lot of mint leaves in it.

6. Passion fruit & peach mocktail: it was like a slush with lot of ice and it wasn't tasting good at first but when it melted it was tasting better.

Summing up my review:

Ambience: 4.5/5

Food quality: 5/5

Food quantity: 5/5

Title: A Culinary Delight at Copper Chimney: Thane Viviana Mall Experience Introduction: Venturing into the heart of Thane's Viviana Mall, our recent visit to Copper Chimney was nothing short of a gastronomic adventure. From delectable starters to mouthwatering mains and an unforgettable dessert, each dish left an indelible mark on our taste buds. Starters: The Angara Soya Chaap took us by surprise with its rich flavors, leaving a lingering taste that resonated well with our palate. However, it was the Paneer Tikka that stole the show, earning the title of the best we've ever had. The tenderness of the paneer was unparalleled, making each bite a culinary delight. Mains: Our journey through the menu continued with the Bazar Ke Chole, an exemplary dish that redefined our expectations of this classic. The perfect blend of spices and textures made it an excellent choice and undoubtedly the best we've ever savored. Copper Chimney's commitment to culinary excellence shone through in this dish. Dessert: As we approached the final leg of our culinary expedition, the Peshawari Kulfi Falooda awaited us. Beyond our expectations, this dessert was a symphony of flavors and textures. The traditional Peshawari Kulfi, coupled with the delightful falooda, created a sweet finale that left us craving for more. Conclusion: Copper Chimney at Thane's Viviana Mall is undeniably a haven for food enthusiasts. From the impeccable service to the outstanding variety of dishes, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Good food and a warm vibe! A review for this place had been overdue. The restaurant has mastered the North Indian palate and maintained quality & flavors for years now. They have typified their curries and offer a popular menu. The grills and gravies are tasty with perfect seasonings. Butter chicken, Dhaba chicken and Roganjosh are particularly well made. In vegetarian options, paneer delicacies and kofta are good. They have an exhaustive drinks menu. The price is definitely high. The service is excellent - they focus on their offerings well. The staff is polite and well trained on the menu. A special mention for Anand, who not only recommended stuff but also, took efforts to customize. He was attentive and courteous. The restaurant has a nice ambience and is ideal for small and large groups. Great for online ordering too, specially when they run promotions on Zomato or Swiggy. The price point positions it for occasional lunches or dinners with family and friends. But, definitely worth visiting once in a while.

The Punjabi Onion Mirch Roti and Missi Roti are a testament to Copper Chimney's commitment to delivering authentic Indian bread. The perfect blend of spices in the rotis complements the diverse array of dishes on the menu. Copper Chimney is no stranger to a foodie who has lived in Mumbai. I've been a long admirer of their food after having tried their Colaba outlet for many many years. This time got a chance to visit Thane outlet which is inside Viviana Mall. Ambiance is buzzing and well lit. After having tried their Seekh Kebabs every time, i wanted the best of each of their kebab specialities and hence opted for Mixed Meat Platter. Seekh Kebab was stand out as usual, but Chicken Achari, Malai and Hariyali were equally delicious well marinated and tender. All kebabs taste were enhanced with mint chutney. Super! Their Karari Roomali Roti is also top notch. Good size and very crisp. Great dish to munch on until the main dishes arrive. Also ordered Chicken Tawa Biryani which was a bit less in quantity but there was no compromise in taste and quality. Boneless Chicken pieces were moist and every grain of rice was visible and well cooked. Fried Onion on top of it was cherry on the cake. Delhi Shikanji and Khatta Panha both drinks we tried were good. Ended meal with Rasmalai which looked visually appealing topped with nuts. Milk wasn't overly sweet which is what i liked. Also pieces were spongy. Overall my experience with Copper Chimney brand in Thane outlet has also been satisfactory and it's good to see the quality being maintained across all outlet. Looking forward to visit again. Cheers!

Best of North Indian food in Thane... We love it. Everything on menu is so tempting all the time that I don't know which one to select and review here. Service is courteous and prompt. Prices are worth the palate and the offerings. Copper chimney is so famous for taste and menu that it has become a brand in itself for North Indian food.
