Nice place for family dining. Love there Chicken Platter.
This place is located exactly where Pokhran road starts is is not very difficult to locate. They serve everything between Indian and continental and a good number of mocktails as well. Here's everything we tried -
Starters
Chicken Angara Kebab
Veg Spring Roll
We liked both dishes. Especially, the kebabs which were tender and marinated with green chutney.
Main Course
Veg Diwani Handi with Butter Naan
Combination Rice
The veg curry was rich and delicious with mixed vegetables. Butter naan was the perfect accompaniment. The second dish, a combination of rice and noodles lived upto our expectations.
In mocktails, we tried a couple of mojitos which were quite refreshing.
Overall verdict: The place serves some good Indian food at reasonable prices. Ambiance is good and the staff attended to us, well.
The restaurant is under renovation. The best time to visit the restaurant would be after it's ready. The restaurant has a 2 and 4 wheeler parking space.
I visited the restaurant during lunch. The ambience didn't make me stay long. As much as I wish to comment, the renovation is the reason so let's begin with the food.
I ordered mocktails followed with some starters and desserts only. Neither of the dishes were impressive. They have a variety of kababs in Veg and Non veg.
The chicken rojali and paneer makhmali kabab had stuffings. I tried two mocktails
1. Virgin mojito
2. Fire n Ice : khus syrup+Sprite+green chilli as a cherry
For desserts,
1. Gulab jamun: This was good and warm
2. Mango Ice cream: Not essence of mango felt like eating chilled cream.
Overall good. Worth a visit only after renovation.

This is a decent place to dine with friends or family. They have a banquet hall too. Currently, this place is under renovation. Hence, they have created a separate dining section in the banquet.
The ambience and the service is decent. The staff is polite.

1. Chicken Rojali Kebab (MUST TRY)
Chicken tikka stuffed with chicken kheema. It tastes great.
2. Chicken Burnt Red Pepper ( MUST TRY)
The sauce was spicy and tasty. The meat was well cooked.
Mains:
3. Chicken Combination Rice
Tastes best with chicken black bean sauce. Individually, it's a little dry.
4. Chicken in Black Bean Sauce (MUST TRY)
The sauce tastes amazing.
Beverages:
5. Fire N Ice
It is nice and refreshing. It gives you a hint of spice in it's after taste.
6. Fruit Punch
This was decent.
Desserts:
7. Gulab Jamun (MUST TRY)
This was the show stopper. The best part of my meal.
8. Mango Ice Cream (MUST TRY)
This mango ice cream tasted great.
All in all it was a decent experience. It is worth a shot. I'll visit again once it is renovated.

The spicy & flavourful, charcoal smoked angara kebabs are worth trying. Properly marinated & fried chicken chunks in the tawa masala was a street-styled treat. The noodles were properly cooked, could have been less oily though. The green envy had khus syrup infused w lemon & soda, decent one but the mojito remains a classic.

The service was quick, the staff was helpful & suggested good options. The avg cost for two people would be around ₹700 approx. Also note, the food served is in smaller portion than the usual.

The kebabs were super delish. Even the chicken lollipop in tandoori variant were cooked to perfection. The mocktails need to be worked on, everything else seemed perfect. Even presentation was on point.

Happened to visit this place for lunch and we were super delighted by the food. The service is quick, the staff are quite helpful and the food would keep you wanting for more. What we tried:
📌Virgin mojito: Well, i believe you can never go wrong with this one. Super refreshing. However, we felt that the presentation can be improved.
📌Green Enemy: These somehow tasted similar to that of the previous drink, only differed in colour. The amount of soda used was a bit high.
📌Chicken lollipop: Unlike your usual lollipop, these were the tandoored version. A must order when here. Also these were super delicious to munch on. They were charred to perfection!
📌Chicken tawa masala: Was a bit skeptical when i ordered this on how it'd turn out to be. But the flavour blew our tastebuds. It's kind of a dry one with chunky pieces of chicken well prepared in some super delicious gravy.
📌Chicken angara kebab: These were super delicious. The meat used was tender and the masalas did their magic! Classic one.
📌Gulabjamun and Vanilla icecream: The desserts were delicious. Try pairing them up for a major twist. And we ended our meal on a happy note.
Overall, we had a good time. The drinks have major scope of improvement, the food however was worth travelling all the way.

So on my visit here I tried the following dishes

The chicken spring rolls were tasty and had lots of filling in it served with some yummy shezwan sauce.

Combination rice had a mix of noodles and rice along with chicken but it lacked the authentic Chinese flavour to it ..had it been there it would taste better.

The paneer here had filling of cheese ,onion and tomatoes in it and was really tasty and is definately a must try.
Chicken gravy and the butter naans served tooo were very tasty the gravy came along with lots of chicken chunks in it and was delicious.

I had been to this restaurant which is right at the junction of Thane. The place seems to be under renovation and a bit secluded at the entrance.
The restaurant is situated upstairs.
It is a space with limited dining.
The service is a bit slow.
I had ordered veg paneer makhmali. The dish comes in an neatly decorated fashion with salad at the center and paneer all around in circular fashion. Very heavy and filling starter. The paneer is stuffed and taste great. Perfectly soft and fresh.
Then we ordered roti along with veg Falguni.
The sabji is of mix veggies consisting of carrot, onion, cauliflower, mushroom etc.
Tasted good.
We also ordered two mocktails, fruit punch with milk base and an aerated one which had sprite, rose petals and orange. The fruit punch was amazing and recommended.
Lastly for the dessert we had vanilla ice cream with gulab jamun.
Overall the place is great for food which goes unnoticed in the town.

MARIA is a Famous Restaurant and Bar among the Local People . Situated on the highway , this famous place have multiple use . They have a banquet hall too. The best part is the Parking Space right next to it which is huge .
The place is under construction for some reason , only few part of it . I visited for a quick lunch , as we all know the Bar's have the best chicken dishes .

Omg , even after leaving the place ,I still the the flavours stuck in my mouth and Mind . This was the tastiest of all lolypops I ever had . Perfectly Juicy , Perfectly Grilled , Perfectly tender and soft and tastiest of all time . Love struck ..!!

They have a decent variety of kebab on the menu , I opted for Angara kebab , which was delicious as well . The tandoor items here are so perfect and drooling . The Spicy Kebab with some mint sauce , finished in a jiffy .
📌 CHICKEN IN BEAN SAUCE
I have had this before , It was Good , The sauce was little messy , it had a little bitter taste . The Chicken in it was great .
📌 COMBINATION RICE
White rice and noodles , boiled chicken , the rice was flavour less , but went well with Gravy item .
In all A Good Expierence for lunch , some changes still can be done for more better food quality .
The service is a bit slow , but the management is good and supportive .

Maria restaurant - Visited this restaurant today after years. This restaurant has been there in the same place for years now. However, earlier they had 2 separate restaurants for both their veg and non veg. Currently the restaurant is under renovation so not as vibrant as it used to be. However, their staff and service are both excellent.
We began by ordering Shangrilla and Virgin mojito for drinks.
Starters comprised of
1) Veg crispy - The Crisply fried assorted vegetables were tossed in Chinese sauce garnished with sesame and spring onions and tasted excellent.
2) Veg Stir fry - Exotic veggies like zucchini, squash, mushrooms, red & yellow capsicum, baby corns etc were stir fried in butter and lots of garlic. This was another excellent dish.
3) Chicken Rozali Kebab- A thick slice of Chicken was stuffed with chicken mince roasted and served with green mint chutney. This dish could have tasted better if the chicken was a.bit juicy and the stuffed mince not prepared too dry.
4) Chicken Angara Kebab- Chicken pieces marinated in Indian spices were roasted and served with green mint chutney. Another dish which could have tasted excellent if the chicken was juicy.
For the Main course we tasted their combination Rice which was a mix of fried rice and noodles and was very tasty.
We ended our meal with some freshly prepared, hot and extremely soft Gulab Jamuns

I have been visiting them since 2008 whenever in thane...try to stick to their indian cuisine and i guarantee for the quality and quantity for their veg menu(since i 'm a vegetarian)....not in 10 years i've felt any aww in the food taste...tried almost all their curries and naan's, fantastic! The only exception is the Garlic naan and stuff paratha...they are amateur in it
They need to definitely improve in quite a lot areas for e.g: Speed of service, cutlery quality, interiors and staff....but food is yum for sure

This is the first restraurant i have been to after i moved to thane. The food is yummie. even if im alone i come here to have a soup and eat the tandoor roti with a north.Indian dish.

Loved the food here....beautiful ambiance and great taste.
To start off with... in starters we had baby corn fry, French fries and veg spring rolls. The spring rolls were great and tasty. The baby corn had too much oil but was tasty and the French fries were ok. Overall starters were good.
Soup we had baby corn,hot n sour and cream of tomato. The soups were really great.
Main course we had butter naan and paneer tikka masala,daal fry and malai kofta. The food was yummy. The malai kofta had a bit of a coconut touch... not my fav but was enjoyed by all the others.
The daal was yummy.
In deserts we had chocolate ice cream and vanilla ice cream with gulaab Jamun... must say totally worth it....;)
Pls don have the chocolate sauce with the ice cream... it tasted like decoction and was completely diluted.
There's plenty parking space and good seating on top.

I have been going to this place since ages with my family. Not too spacious but the ambience is really warm and the service is also fast. One dish which i would recommend would be mixed fried rice with diced chicken in hunan sauce. Should go to this place at least once with your family.
This place is right near the junction and easily accessible. Not so spacious but the ambience is really good with good soft music. The food is really tasty. Must come with family. Recently they had organised onasadhya which was great.

We held a school reunion function @ this place. ..it was on the 3 floor..The food was good but the service was little slow.
There was some misunderstanding while booking the place...so we ended up paying 35 rs more per person. .which worked out to 2500 something..
So please get your quote in writing..They tend to raise your bill at the end..

The 'Maria Restaurant' is a very nice place here at Majiwada Thane, where you can have a nice lunch or a dinner with your loved ones or even go with family.
- The ambiance is great and pleasant.
- The Staff is co-operative, nice hospitality and quick in service.
- They really serve a nice quantity of food.
- We have ordered nonveg items as well as the veg.
- I personally found the vegetarian dishes nicer than the non-vegetarian dishes. It's my opinion, taste and liking are different of different persons.

Maria Restaurant is a very nice place here at Majiwada Thane, where you can have a nice lunch or a dinner with your loved ones or even go with family.

- We have ordered nonveg items as well as the veg.
- I personally found the vegetarian dishes nicer than the non-vegetarian dishes. It's my opinion, taste and liking are different of different persons.

Currently the restaurant is under renovation so not as vibrant as it used to be. However, their staff and service are both excellent.
We began by ordering Shangrilla and Virgin mojito for drinks.
Starters comprised of
1) Veg crispy - The Crisply fried assorted vegetables were tossed in Chinese sauce garnished with sesame and spring onions and tasted excellent.
2) Veg Stir fry - Exotic veggies like zucchini, squash, mushrooms, red & yellow capsicum, baby corns etc were stir fried in butter and lots of garlic. This was another excellent dish.
3) Chicken Rozali Kebab- A thick slice of Chicken was stuffed with chicken mince roasted and served with green mint chutney. This dish could have tasted better if the chicken was a.bit juicy and the stuffed mince not prepared too dry.
4) Chicken Angara Kebab- Chicken pieces marinated in Indian spices were roasted and served with green mint chutney. Another dish which could have tasted excellent if the chicken was juicy.
For the Main course we tasted their combination Rice which was a mix of fried rice and noodles and was very tasty.
We ended our meal with some freshly prepared, hot and extremely soft Gulab Jamuns

Restaurant located at Vasant vihar,Thane. Is a good decent place to dine with family or friends. They serve Indian Chinese as well as authentic Chinese.

We've Recently visited this one of the good restaurant in Thane which is located at Majiwada Thane.
This restaurant is famous restaurant and Bar among the local people.
This place one of best place where you can have have a good lunch or dinner with yours friends and family. I liked this place.
Ambiance of this place is simple yet elegant.
Seating arrangement of this place is very well organised and managed in respect of couples, group of friends and families. They have perfect combination of wooden table and chairs for seat which gives a great look to this place.
Talking about staff..
Staff was very helpful with suggestions. But service given by them was little bit slow. Overall Food and most important tandoori dishes which we tried here was delicious and lipsmaking.
Presentation of food was good. Quality and quantity of food was good.

it was very Refreshing. It was perfecy blended with mint and lemon flavours into a refreshing mix which rejuvenates the senses and makes you calm at once.

Taste of dal khichadi was superb. This is one of favorite dish of mine. Dal Khichdi is Indian subcontinent delicacy in which rice, dal(lentils) are cooked along with some veggies and served with pickles .

This place is located exactly where Pokhran road starts is is not very difficult to locate. They serve everything between Indian and continental and a good number of mocktails as well. Here's everything we tried -

We liked both dishes. Especially, the kebabs which were tender and marinated with green chutney.
Main Course
Veg Diwani Handi with Butter Naan
Combination Rice
The veg curry was rich and delicious with mixed vegetables. Butter naan was the perfect accompaniment. The second dish, a combination of rice and noodles lived upto our expectations.
In mocktails, we tried a couple of mojitos which were quite refreshing.
Overall verdict: The place serves some good Indian food at reasonable prices. Ambiance is good and the staff attended to us, well.
We selected Maria hall for my engagement. Its a lovely hall which can easily accommodate 100 guests. Well maintained and clean. Can be easily spotted as it is on the main road

Good place to eat. Service need to Improve as compared to price.
Space is good enough for about 200 people if the upper storey is provided as well. Food is fine and the service provided by staff is fine. Need improvement in the stage decor. They turn off the Air conditioning sometimes so need to keep an eye out for that. But overall a good small sized hall for small family functions.
