Food tasted great... Prawns and crab ordered were a fresh catch... however I gave them a 2 star for Prawns sukke thali. Because as per my understanding thali consists of main gravy, and Fish fry here it should have been prawns fry...but in this particular thali prawns fry was missing.... however there were adequate pieces of prawns in the sukke gravy....they did not send the chutney and the salad as mentioned in the thali description...Crab gravy was fresh and delicious....bhakri was very soft and solkadi was good as well could have added little less salt to the solkadi...the restaurant has fair ratings for the dishes they have served..... could get better
This is probably the best Seafood and Konkani Cuisine restaurant in Thane. Had been here before lockdown so was pretty sure of the quality when I ordered again. Things I ordered:
1. Chimboricha Kalvan (5/5): Wonderful thick gravy presentation with big crab pieces. The taste of crab was prevalent in the gravy. Gravy was medium spicy, not too oily and was perfect to have with Bhakris.
2. Prawns Malvani Curry (4/5): Another delicious curry cooked in Malvani style. Had more than 10 medium sized juicy prawns. Gravy had amazing flavour and tangy flavour of Kokam.
3. Rice Bhakari (5/5): One of the best Rice Bhakaris I have ever had. They were soft, big in size and went so well with the gravies.
Sea foods are appetiting ,or enticing, palatable, comfortable seating area ,malvani chicken delightful and exquisite test of chicken, divine presentation of marathi style of Modak
Food comes with malvan tadka. Good tasty malvan food. We ordered surmai tava fry, bombil fry, chicken lollipop and chicken chilli in malvan style, kheema and vada. All were good in portion and taste. Sol kadi was extra salty.
Overall experience was good. A must visit for malvan taste.
Went to this place on Sunday evening with family. The seafood is awesome and super fresh. Prawns rawa fry is must try dish. Kombdi wade were also exceptionally good. Ambience and serive is comforting. Loved the overall experience here. Highly recommended!!
Konkani cuisine for sure. The Pudina Shorba was very delicate, yet very much palatable. The Konkan spiced Chilly paneer is good as well. The best part is the paneer is mildy marinated while the capsicum curry that accompanies it was spicy. I got to use the curry in Biryani. The biryani was flavourful and there is a kick of spice here as well. Enjoyed my meal with a good ambience.

Great ambiance, authentic konkani food even the starters, don't expect those naans here they serve some good maharashtian breads, Fish rocks specially Pomfret.If not really fine with sour taste be aware of your order, just an advice pre book your seat coz it takes minimum of 30min to get in on weekends.
After finding a million newly opened restaurants in Thane we tried this place. It serves high quality seafood and chicken.
We tried the cheesy murgh kebab was spicy but had a good filling of melted cheese in it. We next tried the Bombay duck was ok it had less fish and was too crunchy. We tried the paya soup it was nice, simple and flavorful. I main course we tried the pomfret gassi was delicious with succulent pomfret pieces and was awesome with the gassi gravy. We tried the malvani chicken masala was awesome with a perfect malvani taste.
In desserts we tried the mango kharwas was good with a awesome taste but the regular kharwas was lip smacking with a delectable yaste. Overall a truly wonderful experience having high quality seafood and chicken.

Lovely restaurant with authentic konkani food. Ambience too is very nice. Unlike other places they serve an entire glass of sol kadhi with the thali. Portion size is also pretty good. All in all I would say it is value for money. However, I do hope they continue to maintain standards

Good place for family. One of the best dine in restaurants for maharashtrian coastal food. Good ambiance. Authentic taste. Polite and knowledgeable staff. Only issue is non availability of parking in the viscinity. The restaurant should have a valet parking.

Konkani haus is over such place that had bought these homely cuisines from konkan to our Thane. The waiters recommended all the dishes we had! They were: crab soup, malvani tandoor pomfret, surmai tava fry, squid sukkhe.
For mains we had: kombdi malvani handi, crab sukkhe, and ukda mutton with steamed rice and bhakri.
For dessert of course we had kharwas.
The freshness of the food, the right amount of spice, and the authentic flavors will definitely keep me coming back.
The place has a lovely konkan vibe. The staff was attentive. After drinks of peru pudina (seriously, try it out), we basically just ordered everything seafood and oh my gosh, it was so fresh and so good.
My favorite was hands down the squid sukkhe. We also tried the crab sukkhe was delicious. We also tried the surmai tava fry, and the malvani tandoor prawns. For mains, we had the mutton kheema masala, and kombdi malvani handi with bhakri, washing it all down with sol kadi.
Dessert was sweet and think karwas.

I had visited here at 'Konkani Haus' 3-4 times already and always love the places its delicious food and their Beverages especially.
The ambiance is very elegant and astounding, the decor is done very finely.
Here they also have some silent music playing in the background, so it makes the surroundings feel pleasant and keeps your mood great accompanied by the delicious food.
The quality of the food, as well as the quantity, is great and the beverages are perfectly made.

We had fish and chicken varieties and both lived up to the name and hype this outlet commands. The service was prompt and courteous and the ambiance added to the Konkani charm.

Wanted to try some konkani food in vegetarian option so went to this place. The place is located opposite vandana theater and talking about ambience it was very classy and catchy to see. Now coming to the food we order.
1. Kothambir Vadi : This is the main things i order whenever i try Maharashtraian food. Kothambir vadi was made perfectly served with mint chutney with it .
2. Paneer Konkani Chilly : The best panner chilly i have ever had the spicies and the sauce on the paneer was tasting awesome and the paneer was also soft . A must have dish
3. Kaju Curry : This is main dish which you should try. Red gravy with konkani species and kaju in it was tasting delicious had it with bajri bakri.
4. Kaju Shake : Kaju Shake was taste same like khir but it was cold khir . It was at a sweeter side but great to have.
5. Modak : A meal is incomplete without a dessert. Modak is the favorite dessert i love to have it had stuffing of coconut and godd and serves with ghee. Very delicious .
Overall great experience will visit again.

For starters, Konkani Paneer Chilly was the standout dish with a fusion of Chinese and Spicy Indian masalas adding an altogether a different rhythm to the dish.
'Batata ani poha papad' and chicken crispy were delicious as well, providing a great start to the evening.
Tandul bhakri and malvani aloo lapeta rocked the main course, with taste beyond description.
Meanwhile, we were served the famous 'Sol Kadhi', which proclaims itself as every Konkan household's pride, and yes, certainly, it definitely is the pride of every Konkan household.
To end our humongous supper, 'Ukadiche Modaks' were definitely the showstoppers, landing a final kiss to the taste buds.
The background score of soft instrumental marathi music was very soothing and made our evening definitely one to remember. The staff were great as well, from managing to serving, everything was inch perfect.

Konkani haus is located in the panch pakhadi area of Thane west. Around 10 mins distance from Thane station.
The ambience is a very regal with a dash of 18th century like interiors and classical music playing in the backy.
The food here is not authentic konkani but a modernized version of the same. But you will definitely get a taste of konkani flavours in every dish .

The til masala kokum fizz was very refreshing especially after a long tiring day.

If you dont try Kothimbir wadi , Konkani paneer chilly and Paneer Koliwada. Trust me .. you are going to regret it.

The Kaju chi usal ,Bharleli wangi and Paneer konkani tikka masala were the best amongst the lot.
Desserts
I would recommend you to try Kharwas and Modak if you want authentic Maharashtrian sweets.
The Sol Kadhi was to die for. You wont be able to stop at just one glass.

Starting with the yummiest drink of this place kaju shake.You would want to visit this place just to have this drink
In starters:- batatani poha papad cutlet and konkani paneer paneer chilly had that konkani masala touch which is enough to give you konkani feel
In mains- bhajani che vadi was something i tried for the first time and it was worth trying with nonveg gravy
Cheesy murgh kabab with konkani touch did give that satisfying non veg taste that a non veg lover wants
And in deserts modak was the best amongst all the deserts we had

About the food - In starters we had Batataani poha papad cutle,Kokani paneer chilly .
I loved Kokani paneer chilly but the batataani poha papad cutle was also good.Along with the starters we had Peru pudina fizz mocktail which was really refreshing.
In Mains we ordered chapati and paneer malvani tikka masala. Served with enough quantity and definitely you are gonna like it.
And in desserts we had Gulab jamuns which were super yummy and soft.

Highly recommended:
Sol kadhi is the tastiest and most refreshing drink ever.
In veg starters : Konkani paneer chilly was the best as it had Chinese with a hint a malwani masala.
Batata ani poha papad cutlet was also very soft and delicious.
In main course:
Tandul bhakri is very soft and made of rice flour and malvani aloo lapeta were super tasty.
Dessert : ukadiche Modak were big and tasty and i could not stop eating those.

Are you looking for authentic sea food ? Konkani haus is the place you should visit. First let's talk about the ambience which is really great and even the staff is friendly and attentive. The service is really nice.

Dessert: Kharwaz(highly recommend), Ukadiche Modak.
There are some tastes that you can never forget, prawns curry at this restaurant was one such thing. It's set a benchmark for me; love the pomfret curry too and modaks were just awesome. Surmai and bombil rawa fry didn't really hit any notes.
This place is located at panch pakhadi, Thane West.
The ambience is very pleasant and picturesque. The lighting and decor is very much similar to a local dhaba with a modern touch. Service is really good.

Cheesy murgh kabab - This was my favourite non veg starter. Perfect juicy chicken pieces with cheese garnished. So tasty.
Overall its a great place to dine in because of such a lovely ambience and rich Konkani food. They justify their restaurant's name in every sense.

Kokani Haus is a best place for Maharashtrian food lovers. It is located at Panchpakhadi, Thane. It has really nice ambience with wooden furniture and aesthetics.

Peru Pudina Fizz - It's a good mixture of Guava and Mint with nice taste of Mint.

Prawns Koliwada - This dish has ample quantity of big and juicy prawns. Prawns coated with rice flour and masala is fried.
Pomfret Rawa fry- The taste was amazing and the main thing is all the fish were so fresh. Highly recommended.
Ravas Tava fry- It is so mouthwatering to even look at this dish. You'll enjoy every bite of it. Highly recommended.
For main course
Prawns Malvani masala - The main ingredient for its gravy was coconut and has a unique taste. Prawns were medium in shape and fresh too. We had this chapati.
For dessert
Gulab Jamun - You'll get 2 pieces of hot and sweet Gulab Jamun.
Ukdiche Modka - Modaks were really nice in taste. They served with ghee. Recommended.

Bharlel bombil was so outstanding. Its the signature dish of this place do try it once. Surmai was fresh and lovely. Pompfret was good. The gravy was too thin. Biryani had great chunks of chicken. Gulacha kharwas is also one dish that you have to try here..

Konkani food has always been our favourite and Konkan Hauz is one of our favourite places to try it. We absolutely love their Bharlela Pomfret. This time we also tried the Prawn stuffed Squid and loved it even more! The dishes are so innovative and so deliciously made. Our favourite in main course was the Mutton biryani. Loved the masala!! Great ambience and perfect for dining out with family. Definitely must visit!

Recently visited Kokani Haus Thane. This place has one of the best Malwani food. The interiors are decorative and the seating area is absolutely comfortable. There is a wide variety of Meat and fish delicasis available. We tried Prawns lapeta and chicken banjara for starters both very absolutely delicious. super fresh and juicy. For main course we tried Gharghuti chicken with Malwani wade and chicken biryani. Gharghuti chicken was super flavourful and rich taste. Chicken biryani was so flavourful filled with soft and juicy chicken chunks. for dessert we tried gulab jamun and caramel custard. we enjoyed our meal with refreshing Mocktails.

We ordered βBharlela Bombil prawnsβ which was recommended by one of the staff members and we absolutely relished it. Highly recommend. Crispy outside with good prawns filling inside.
Malvani Tandoor Ravas was soft and juicy and cooked to perfection. It simply melted in my mouth. Super fresh.

We ordered chicken Khurchan which was a boneless Semi dry gravy and we had it with Bhajani che Wade which again has an authentic malvan taste to it .
Then we ordered Kolambi bhaat which is basically prawns rice it was cooked with the perfect blend of spices. Must try!

We had their sizzling brownie with icecream. It was delicious .

Ambience (4/5) - Ample of space in thr restuarant. Seats are comfortable. Place is well lit. Bar counter looks great as well.
Service (4.5/5)- We were served by Mr Lloyd. He knew every dish from the menu. The suggestion he gave were awesome.

1.Prawns Lapeta (4.5/5) - Spicy lovers should definitely order and try this prawns.
2. Mutton kheema pattice (5/5) - This is must have starters here. Pattice were very fresh and soft. Chutney served with it is awesome.
Mains:
1 Mutton Malvani Masala (5/5)- Mutton pieces were soft. One can taste the authentic malvani gravy here, the one i had in Tarkarli, few years back. We tried it with Bhajani che vade and tandur bhakri. Personally i loved it with tandul bhakri.
2. Kolambi Biryani (4.5/5) - Amazing taste. Prawns were fresh. This biryani is spicy and being spicy food lover, I loved this very much.

Amazed with the simplicity of this place and amazing taste. If you are in the Thane area then this place is a must visit. All the seafood options are amazing and the kebabs are amazing. The staff is also very polite and so mannered. Loved this place.

Has classic interior and all the feels of Konkani home. We had
Prawns stuffed Pampret.: this was Pompfret stuffed Prawns masala , Spicy and yummy.
Chicken Tandoori : All we know chicken tandoori taste all time good but they serve it with Konkani style coconut chutney which one was red and geen
Konkani haus style mutton handi : this was coconut based mutton handi which was spicy juicy and so flavourful.
Chicken Biryani : Homestyle chicken biryani in which chicken was so tender and yummy. Different than regular biryani.
Sizzling Brownie
:
The restaurant was so neat and clean interior was so classic . All the slates were tagged on the roof naming the dishesh. Service was so fast staff is really polite. Must visit the place to have Konkani food π₯.
Konkani Haus is famous sea food restaurant but for a change we decided to try their veg cuisine and let me tell you I was not at all disappointed.
They have malwani, Punjabi and Chinese cuisine.

For drinks we had virgin Pinacolada and Virgin Mojjito. i love Pinacolada more.
In starters we had Corn Tikki nd Veg Manchurian. i liked Corn Tikki it was served with 2 types of coconut chutney and Schezwan sauce.
Main course I ordered Tawa Mushroom Roti and Veg Hakka Noodles.
Tawa Mushroom was mid spicy and Hakka Noodles were also nyc
Last comes my favourite dessert
Carmel Custard and Modak. i loved Carmel Custard it was just perfect.
Overall their veg food is also good and worth a try!!
