Went here on a Sunday afternoon. After climbing Yeoor Hills had built a voracious appetite. Nice Ambiance, ok ok service, piping hot and tasty food. loved how the vegetables had a smoky flavour. Usually I am not impressed by restaurants in a mall and prefer stand-alone restaurants. However this one is really nice. Worth a visit.
This is one of the restaurant one must try ❤️ They have a really great ambience😍 The food is too yummy with a perfect taste of north India. We had ordered Dahiwale Kebab which were crispy from outside and had a curd filling inside which were too yummy. Also tandoori mushroom and babycorn were simply amazing. The main thing to enhance its taste was the chutney they had on the table itself one made of curd and one mint and coriander which had a perfect sourness and taste. Then we ordered Sarso Da saag with makai di roti which was superb ❤️😍 Truly outstanding❤️😍 And the cherry on the top were pudina lemon drink and jalebi with rabdi which they gave us complimentary to our surprise ❤️😍 One of the best experience😁 would love to visit again ♥️♥️
Located on the ground floor of Viviana Mall, this place is difficult to find. Really liked their decor and ambience. The food was tasty also the quantity was more than sufficient. Overall it was a good experience.

Had been to Northen tadka with mom and the dinner served was good. Yesterday I ordered chicken tikka biryani fir lunch in the office, to my surprise it arrived in a clay pot. We were excited to see the pot. Bjryani within was delicious with fresh tender chicken, perfect spice and perfectly cooked and marinated rice.
It was a super lunch with all chutneys and pickle. And we also received complementary jelebi.
Must try everyone.

This place is located on the ground floor at Viviana Mall. Had gone there for lunch on a weekday so it was quite empty. The ambience is really nice. Complete indian decor. The service is very slow. Coming to food, we ordered for dahi ke kebab which was okayish. Then we ordered for Malai paneer, which was nice. The paneer was really soft. The staff is friendly. Overall a nice place to have a good lunch or dinner.

As the name goes, it's got all the flavors of north with the right mix. Good veg food and even more amazing non veg food. To add to that good old music, makes you enjoy the food. Must try place for foodies who love to dig in.
Thought of having Indian food and what better place than Northern Tadka. Pretty noisy place but the food was extremely good so was the ambience. Service could have been better, a smile by the servers would help. The one thing that disappointed me was their lassi was way below our expectation. Otherwise enjoyed the evening with truly good Punjabi food.

Chicken Shorba as in the picture was absolutely delicious and had such depth of flavours with generous pieces of chicken. It may look not spicy but tastes amazing. Apart from the Shorba, the Mutton biryani is a must try and also kebabs. In all a good place for nice northern Indian meal. Advice would be to open up near South Mumbai and near by areas

For the main course sarson ka saag , which is served with makkai roti , yellow daal and cheese garlic naan.
Sarson ka saag and makai ka roti really surprised me , it was very nice hats off to restaurant. Daal and cheese gralic naan were also great.

Ambience is of a contemporary restaurant masked as a typical Punjabi Dhaba. Tried chicken kebab and veg starters. Both turned out to be good. For main course I chose chicken Punjabi masaa and the traditional pindi Chole. The chicken was good but Chole were a sheer disappointment. Chose a roti platter and it was good.
Finally summed up my lunch with a complimentary jalebi and Rabri which was fresh and crispy .

Angarey murgh tikka(NonVeg) -Dry Boneless Chicken roasted. It was like normal Chicken Tikka. It was OK
Junglee murgh tikka(NonVeg)- Except some spices and it was green, Angarey Murgh Tikka was also same.. taste was exactly same.
Dilliwala Chilli Paneer(Veg) - Paneer roasted with spicy gravy and chillies. I really liked it.
Tadkewale lollipop(Veg) - Mixture of potatoes, peas, corn and lots of veggies are fried and attached with candy and they were roasted. It was OK.
Main Course
Mumbaiya murgh masala - Chicken with mild spicy gravy. It was good but not so wow.
Peshawari paneer- Paneer with lots of Vegetable made in mild spicy gravy it was alao good but not so wow.
Dessert
Garma Garam Jalebiyan with Rabri - This the perfect Northern Style Dessert. If you are visiting here then you must try this.

Jalebi with rabdi(4.5/5): How could we miss this. The jabelis were piping hot and crisp. The rabdi thick and cold and just right. Couldn’t be a better way to end the meal.

Service:(2.5/5): An area to improve. Can’t call it rude but not as attentive and willing.

I didn't like Mutton Biryani though. Rice was sticky and had too much spices. Rumali roti too don't order without butter as it hardens in a few minutes.

The taste of the food was good, especially the prawns in the platter. The service and staff was excellent.

Located right on the ground floor of the most famous vivanna mall it’s something you cannot miss.. There food and desserts menu is limited to northern dishes only as the name suggests, I would have loved if they had some good chocolaty menu for desserts but the famous Jalebi Rabri from northern tadka is something you don’t want to miss, the Jalebis are crispy and yummy so it a must try.
Due to limited menu availability is the reason dreamfoodie rates this a 4 but love this place good food at reasonable rates..
If you are looking for authentic North Indian cuisine and delicious food this is the place to be. Nice ambience and service. Had a great time with family. Paneer butter masala was really great in presentation and taste, Top class! So many items in the menu will surely tempt you to eat more. And staff will make sure to pamper you. Lots of choices in starters, main & deserts. Definitely will be visiting again, still hungover with the great food. Kudos to all staff of Northern Tadka
It was such an great experience in this restaurant they are so much humble they have the best ambience, food quality, hospitality they serve some authentic North Indian and mughlai foods I would suggest you should go to this restaurant atleast one time you will definitely love it and its kinda cheap and expensive at the same time.

Nice ambience. Food was also quite tasty and filling. Quantity is fairly good. Non veg platter was good.
The food was amazing. Went there for a team lunch and enjoyed the starters. Especially the veg collection is too good. We tried a few mocktails and non-veg as well which was delicious. Would definitely recommend the Harbhara Kebab and the Chicken Tikka Masala. The Rabri was great with both Gulaab Jamun and Jalebis.
Good place for people with a north indian appetite. Excellent ambience, courteous staff, good vibes and great food.
