Been there once it's awesome,yu guys can come to Chennai
We Have Been Visiting the Woking mama for over a year now and this is among our most Favorite Places. First And fore most we should have written this review much earlier and I regret not taking the time to do so.
Sadly when we visited the place on Saturday Evening we were informed that they may be shutting Down soon, too bad, a great place is gonna close down. first let me say what works best at Woking mama,
The ambiance is great, the decor is modern and stylish and very open, the seating is non cluttered with ample open space and there is some degree of privacy that veterans can enjoy. the lighting is soothing and gives a worm feeling.
When it comes to food we love the quality of materials which we found very fresh (especially the fish and chicken) and the preparations were quite innovative and in good taste. we love the Chicken wings and the fish in mustard sauce a lot. Secondly the Quantity was more than adequate to fill our appetite.
For the Service i would rate them 4.5 only because the staff was not very professional like a fine dine restaurant in SOBO would come to pass, yet we felt welcome each time and the guys were courteous and more human then mechanical, a trait which we found refreshing and homely.
We enjoyed dining here so much so that each time we came to Korum mall we ended up visiting this place, even the staff new us by now.
Off lately they started with the Asian Buffer Spread, which was great since it offered more options each prepared with the same enthusiasm. The starters were served on the table so were hot and fresh while the main course was laid on a table for self service. Hence when we were informed that they are to close, both me any my wife felt really bad as if we were about to loose some one close. After all we did share many wonderful memories at this place with our friends and family.
All the Best to the team of Woking mama, where ever you may go keep up the good work, may be we will visit your Guwahati outlet some day.... Cheers and Thanks once again...
I had dinner at this place with almost 25 peoples from my family & all of them enjoyed a lot.
Arrangement was superb.
Ambience is colorfull.
Food was awsum specially lolipops and fish starters.
Staff is also well trained and efficient.
Having gone to The Woking Mama on the Valentine's Day, I have to say the ambiance was better than expected. The service was pretty warm and we were given complimentary watermelon coolers and fryums along with our meal. The food was strictly average. The Thai Spring Rolls were extremely oily but tasted good. The pan fried models were average, nothing extraordinary.
Service - 4.5/5
Ambiance - 5/5
Food - 3/5
Value for Money - 3.5/5
Went on Friday afternoon for lunch with friends. Good ambience with lively music. Tried buffet which includes soup, starts, meal and desert. Food quality is really good and staff service is up to the mark. Will sure be looking forward to go again..
Awesome chinese food. They serve yummy starters.. Chilli guava is one of my fav mocktail. Good ambience. Best part is they serve fresh starters on the table. Only thing is they should make variations in their menu. I love dimsums bt i did not like the dimsums frm here.... Overall good plc to visit
Would like to start with a thanks note to Zomato, because its for them i discovered this place...Inspite of being a regular at Korum Mall....The Ambience of the place was nice and cozy... Service was excellent and promt...The fishy starter ( Chilly fish) was out of this world....although the Momo's could have been spiced a little better. The main course and spread of salads was really good. Asian lamb curry was tender and aptly spiced...not to forget Red sangira.. Mocktale....over all excellent place....cheers
A small reunion was planned. A venue was decided. Woking Mama it was and it fairly lived up to its expectations.
As soon as you enter the restaurant you are taken aback by the sight of such classic interiors, wood finish, ambient lighting, and those little hanging bulbs.
The seating arrangement is spacious too. We had tables booked through zomato itself but we later realised that that wasn't necessary as there were hardly any people there apart from the staff which was super attentive and quite efficient but lacked a little in terms of grace. The waiter literally told us 3 times to go and get the desert as if the desert is running away somewhere.
Talking about the food. Nothing exceptionally good but fairly toothsome to satisfy your tastebuds. We had opted for the non veg buffet. Starters are good particularly the Diced Chicken and the Basa Fish. Both of them have the perfect Blend of flavours and are almost heavenly. Apart from that the negligible quantity of chicken in the chicken manchow soup was quite a let down. About the mocktails, White Sangria turned out to be a wise choice.
In the main course there's an option between fried rice and noodles along with the gravy of ur choice. I personally liked the Green Thai Fish Curry. Unfortunately there isn't much variety in the main course though.
But as they say 'All's well that ends well' it did really end well with all those mouth watering deserts. There is the chocolate walnut brownie, the mango pudding, a small platform arranged with various mousses and they had a chocolate fountain which looked astounding. You'd really have a tough time thinking from where should you begin.
Winding it up I'd say all The Woking Mama has to offer is the warm inviting food, hospitable staff who'd be available for you at every beck and call and the elegantly soothing ambience.
Definitely worth a second visit!
Went on a week day for dinner.. we took buffet 499/- each (both for veg. N non veg). It includes full 4 course meal.
Soup - chicken munchow n in veg. There was hot n sour . Both were too good. Piping hot, Tasty with no corn starch n lots of vegetables.
Starters - In veg - veg. Crispy(really tasty n served hot unlike other buffet restaurants), momos (ok), paneer chilly garlic(yummy).
Non veg - chicken lollypop (awesome). Momos(ok). Fish chilly garlic(yum)
Main course - best thing here is they have live counter for both noodles n rice (both were too good). On buffet table they had standard spread of a gravies. Superb salads n chips.
Desert - was ok nothing exciting - brownie, fruit salad n ice cream.
Gave mocktail complimentary.
Service - super attentive staff. Nice ambiance. Authentic chinese. Buffet Value for money.
One of the best Asian restaurants I have been to. Absolutely amazing food. We had opted for the buffet menu in which there was a wide variety of starters and main course. The best thing in the starters menu was without any doubt the fish. In the main course chicken in hot basil sauce was the best. The thing that actually caught all of our attention was the dessert coconut kathu. I don't think I have eaten such a yummy dessert in recent years. Not to sweet and not too bland ...just the perfect amount of sweetness. The piece was melting in the mouth and there was a blast of textures and flavours. Just amazing. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting.
This is a good place to have chinese and thai food. We tried the buffet and it was up to the mark. The plus points are - Good ambience, Excellent service, friendly staff, good menu options. The fish and chicken starters were really good so as the desserts. Overall a good choice to try Oriental food.

Woking Mama is superb place ! Lobsters are must have kinda dish. Excellent taste and very friendly service. Tatse is quite authentic and no frills and moderate pricing.
We had the buffet lunch and it was outstanding. The fish, lamb spring rolls & diced chicken were amazing. I am making a point to appreciate the service & knowledge of Rajesh Mahato who really treated us well. We're certainly going to come back.
Okaaaayy,The woking mama has the best and authentic chinese. The thai dishes are good in taste,I have gone for lunch and took the buffet which cost 549/- on weekend with complete 3 meal course soup, starters, main course & dessert . All this went completely well with good taste. The music was slow but good and the Ambience is soo mindblowing like lights and all. The staff are also helping and friendly in nature.Should try with the love ones ❤
Feel good place. One thing I loved about the ambience was that every thing was well spaced out. Lot of room to move around. I visited this place with my family and I loved everything about the place. The food was outstanding. One must try the Asian buffet spread. Not matter what you like or dislike about this place, their Daarsan with vanilla ice-cream is priceless. You must try it if you visit this place. Friendly service!!
The Woking Mama is one of these buffet places prized at Rs 499+ for the weekdays and Rs 549+ for the weekends.
Let me begin by saying the service at The Woking Mama was overwhelming Thanks to our Hostess Ms Kajal who graciously walked us to our table with warm smile.
Our Host Mr Mukesh and steward Mr Rajesh was at our service help every moment of time, we felt very well taken care of thanks to the hospitality of the staff too...
Come to the food,
Me and my wife enjoyed our buffet experience starting with the soup and appetisers brought to our table.
Soup
1.The Manchow Soup
Starters
1. Mushroom Baby corn which was fried and served, nothing exciting.
2. Lamp Wanton deliciously made wanton
3. Fish in Sambal Sauce wow this was very well done cooked in lemon grass, this is one dish we asked for the third time. Its worth it.
4.Diced Chicken Spring Onion was verywell done and real tasty.
Main course was quite good didnt had the chance to try it all but over all experience was good..
The atmosphere is perfect for families, office staff, or simply a couple..

Very excited to write a review after a long time.
Visited this place yesterday on my wife's birthday and wat a delightful dinner meal it was. Let me start from the drinks the the SANGRIA which i had was of 5start quality perfect proportion of cointreau orange juice and i appreciated that tey used a Merlot for their red wine as a base. Most the other restaurants use port wine. The bartender i guess his name was rajkumar is an asset to the outlet. (The bartender name started from R). We had taken the buffet as an option. I would say overwhelmed with overall service, options on the menu and the service standards. The servers are well trained and well mannered not like other restaurants, they actually know wat tey are serving. Thank you to the entire team for a lovely meal, and we are surely coming back. Thank you again.
Loved the ambience, it looked so good outside that we immediately wanted to try it out.. We decided to go for the buffet option which was really good. The vegetarian buffet had more options than the non vegetarian one. The starters were yummy both veg and non veg, the noodles, Thai curry and fish had amazing flavours. Full value for money. The staff was super super courteous and helpful. A big thank go to them! We had a really great time. Expect us to be frequent visitors 😊
We have tried a lot of places in Thane now and it we were out of choices. Out of boredom we decided to check this place out and I think we made a good choice.
Ambience is great and the staff were pleasant and very warm. They took great care with our service.
Food: The food is also nice. Something new for a change. And their buffet is value for money.
All in all a great experience and a must try.
Look forward to visit soon.
Whenever I visited Korum Mall at Thane, I was always curious about this place called "The Woking Mama". I had tasted its neighboring joints but was yet to venture in this Chinese- Asian restaurant and bar. Finally, yesterday, I could visit this place planning to have buffet spread. The buffet ad was right from the parking area of the mall. It said buffet with cocktail but on taking place I was told that today we are unable to serve cocktail and alternatively offered me a mocktail. It was already nearing 2.30 and we were quite hungry. The mocktails arrived on the table but soup and appetizers took quite long to be served. Meanwhile I tasted okayish mango syrup based mocktail. The soups were nothing great to write about. Neither the starters and other food items. The only thing I liked is Thai curry and used it to make the burnt garlic rice somewhat acceptable in taste. Even the deserts took long enough to make me wonder whether the ice cream is coming from Himalayas or Alps. Surprisingly, they charge (extort) 10% service charge for their sluggish service and not so good food taste. Definitely a one time visit place. I won't dare to revisit and/ or recommend it to my friends. After all they are my friends. I found this 'woking mama' bit sleeping mama.
The ambience was good and music too was awesome. I liked the starters part and dessert. But the main course was below expectations. The unique part of this restaurant is Buffet system, but majority of the dishes were veg, non veg dishes were limited. This had let me down. Service part was up to date. I hope this review would be considered for betterment of the restaurant. All the best.
Strongly recommended restro ! Well we had a vegetarian dishes ( As m vegan) but trust me it's worth going there ! Servicing for satisfying ! Awesome ambiance and rocking music . There dimsums where so delicate and fine ( momos lover will surely like it)! Do try satay ! There sauces have a strong flavours ( Indians always go for strong flavours) Thumbs up for the restro !

Maxwell , steve and i guess ashish served us , they were courteous and too good.
Maxwell suggested what to order and everything he suggested was good.
What we ordered :
For starters :
Dice chicken
Indonesian grilled prawns
Chicken satay
For main course : Japanese teppanyaki Meat
The beat thing about this place is they have happy hours throughout the day and have a separate menu for it.
I don't remember the exact date, but i went there with friend. We had non veg lunch buffet. Love the food. Enjoyed eating and the ambiance is also so calm and peaceful. I love the prawns dish and rice. Food quantity is up to the mark. Service was very good. Overall great experience with food and atmosphere, too. Definitely try once!
It is pretty cute place. We went there in weekdays for dinner. It was almost empty. The staff there is so well behaved, they care if the customers are happy or not. We had order a few dishes and I remember one of which was not how we expected it to be, they made sure that they re-make it as per our taste.
Good place to go for Asian fusion foods. They have some really good spicy collection in menu!
Loved it
Awsome restaurant for non vegetarian. As i am a vegetarian so i didnt got great verity of vegetarian food. But over all its a great service and place to be....
I have been to this place for bday treat.
As we enter the resto, ambience was eye catching. The acoustic song played by guitarist was making mood more pleasurable..
We were lucky to have maxwell to suggest us good starter & main course..
We had a great time.
The supporting staff was good entertainer especially ashish.
We had a good time.
The service is too quick.
They serve the order within 10-15 min

Only a couple of years back, the Oops…I did it again singer Britney Spears came out with her seventh studio album Femme Fatale and The X Factor. The forth and final single released in September 2011 was “Criminal”. Does anyone still remember the lyrics this popular number?
The Woking Mama have nothing to do with Ms. Spears or Criminal but they just remind us of it for obvious reasons. The restaurant has got us singing Criminal with food stealing the show on a review invite at the restaurant’s first anniversary celebration.
Mama we are surely in love with this criminal (read food)!
Read full review on our blog!
Place is good. Courteous staff. Food is a little tricky, the small plate you order could end up oily and similar in taste. Bao being not available one can surely skip the dimsum section. The chef's special dimsum could have been a little mild on the what I think was lemongrass.
Cocktails are worthy. Would definitely come back for cocktails
went for my wife birthday , this place is awesome , the food taste very good , the ambiance is fantastic , over & above the people who serve you are very courteous .
Thane is a whole other world for me, just like Sobo is, because I'm a suburbs girl and I like it here. ButI'm a foodie also, which means I will travel for food. :D
I made my way to The Woking Mama for their 1st year anniversary celebrations, and oh boy, I was in for a treat!
First thing first, I loved the quirky interiors. The posters were bright and chirpy and well lit.
Secondly, they had a live performance for this celebrations and the singer was an absolute gem. He made the experience and the night even more memorable.
Now coming to the food, somethings were such a delight, will somethings didn't exactly hit the spot for me.
We started off with drinks-
The whisky based drink was quite mellow but loved the star anise and apple tones in it. The Anarkali, which was quite a colorful drink, didn't didn't actually worked for me. A little too sweet for my taste.
Next came the soup and I was blown away! The Javanese Soto Ayam soup was omg delicious. I had two bowls of it. Period.
The starters were lined up and the first one to make the way to the table was Spicy Soya Basil vegetarian dumplings and they were an absolute treat. I'm not so much into spicy food, but I would certainly repeat my order for this.
The Raw papaya salad was just ordinary, nothing to rave about. But what to rave about is the Crispy Water chestnut and Bamboo shoots. I normally would never (ever) order this in a restaurant, I frankly I was reluctant to trying this one too. I saw my husband really enjoying this and I gave it a try, and I was glad I did. Crispy, seasoned well and delicious!
The Paneer Satay was one of the most disappointing dishes of the night. While the quantity is amazing, the taste is not. The peanut sauce lacked the punch. Maybe you can give this a miss and order the bamboo shoots again :D
The Teppanyaki was a unique to my palate. Served on a burning platter for you to have it hot, it was quite a delish experience. Wouldn't mind trying more versions of this one.
What you must absolutely order is the Thai Curry with steamed rice. You will thank me later. Trust me. It was that good! We had repeat order of this one too. Lip smacking.
The desserts are pretty average here, and I wouldn't want to say much about it. They really need to work on them. We tried the orange panacotta and coconut jelly.
All in all, I spend a lovely evening with some good friends, amazing music and delightful food. An evening well spent.
Will I be back? For that soup, bamboo shoots and Thai green curry- YES!
Tried woking mama for a party...nyc ambience...friendly staff...tried starters over here...yummy starters...although i wanted one of the starter from menu which was not available...that was only negative i found

Went here for a late dinner with my wife @pranjali.kelkar on a Thursday nite.... And guess what... We were the only ones like the king and the queen and the whole staff catering to us!!! Ordered chicken dimsums and then pan fried chicken noodles in hot garlic sauce and both dishes were very nice. The staff is really good and courteous. And the icing on the cake was a 15% discount for the axis bank card!!!!
Summary:
What you absolutely have to have?
Anarkali (Cocktail)
Javanese Soto Ayam (Soup)
Spicy Soya Basil Dumpling
Crispy Water Chestnut & Bamboo Shoots
What you can have if you are hungry after the above?
Teppanyaki
Thai Curry with Rice
What You should give a miss?
Chicken Satay or Paneer Satay

Its true when they say "Food takes you places you never thought you would go". Well, in my instance, in took me to Thane for joining the celebrations of Woking Mama's one year anniversary and I am honestly so glad I did!!
Located on the 2nd Floor of the fancy pants "Korum Mall", Woking Mama, as the name suggests, specialises in Asian and Chinese food. The retro and chiic interiours of this place are very intriguing to the passerby and I for one would deifintely want to go inside a place that looks so much fun!
We started our grand meal here with the Seafood Javanese Soto Ayam, and at the risk if sounding ignorant, I have to accept that this was the first time I was even hearing about this soup. Consisting fine rice glass noodles, fresh sea food and some beautiful shallots and celery, this soup was definitely one which I would want a barrel of during a cold evening! Absolutely lovely yet subtle flavors with some seafood cooked to perfection!
You absolutely have to try the dumplings at Woking Mama too! I personally loved the Spicy Soya Basil Dumpling,
Among the starters, I highly recomment the Crispy Water Chestnut & Bamoboo shoots, which, given my love for bamboo shoots was the dish of the night for me!
The only thing we had room for after so many appetizers and the soup, was the Teppanyaki. I was very impressed with the experience I had with the Teppanyaki here which is very unlike my other expeciences in the city. Everything was extremely authentic and delicious and it just shows that the chef actually knew what he was doing!
All in all, Woking Mama is a place i will definitely return to when I am in or around thane, or maybe just take a detour dueing those weekend trips to lonavla.
VERY special mention to the live singer who performed hindi and english classics with exceptional enuthusiasm and an even better voice!
We have been here for a casual dinner. opted for buffet there. Buffet is enough for average appetite. Overall the food quality & quantity is up to the mark.... comparing to price.

Ambiance and decor tasteful, open sitting yet partitioned to give some privacy. Excellent Micheal Jackson songs to keep company. Staff really polite, knows the menu well, excellent focus on hygiene wear gloves while cleaning the table as same staff serves food (Very thoughtful). I also like the Menu, they are not just Indo Chinese serving place. They have good Thai, Malay and Japanese dishes on the menu. To get Shitake mashrooms and watercrests is a bonus. All ingredients fresh and in abundance in the dish, which made me happy, even side salads were crunchy and fresh. Kitchen is open and one can peek in it if you wish. I ordered shanghai chilly potato, chili chicken and Fried Wantons. All dishes were well seasoned, they served sweet tangy chili sauce with wantons it was awesome. Wanton filling had peanut sauce but I liked it. Main course was a Pan fried noodles with veggis tossed in hot garlic sauce and it was great. The noodles became chewy but it said fried noodles so cant complain. Gave feedback to change them to boiled noodles and it was well received. Dessert was a disappointing. Orange and coffee panna cota. I like it to be light fluffy and should be shiny dingly dongly like a jelly . It was too dense, too heavy on coffee taking it to bitter side. I did not enjoy it at all.
Food, quantity and pricing was really good, also, staff came and told us about good offers on cards and we got 15% discount. I like this their menu also clearly mentions taxes extra which I like. All in all, I like the place and hoping same experience gets replicated in future. What surprised me was to see it almost empty. Either people dont know this place or they flock the other nearby mall so dont come here. I actually like it better than a very well known expensive joint in vicinity.
I remember I had been to this restaurant in a week of its opening.
We got a table as soon as we went in and the ambience is soothing.
You would see Chinese lanterns hung over and the jars they served water from had basil leaves for the chill..ah! A good impression.
We had the buffet and the food was mediocre. I will tell you why.. probably authentic but the tastes were a lil subduded. The dessert was okayish.
Worth a visit though.
It serves one of the best dim sum in Thane. The chicken basil dim sum were subtle in taste. The portion served in not adequate for two; Rs 400 for 6 small dim sum is steep. Portion served in Chicken wings and Noodles were good.
Had been here for a corporate dinner... We had opted for a buffet spread.....
Loved d sweet a d tangy salad, the finely made soup.. wish we had more options for the mains and wantons/ dimshums for starters..loved d amazing dessert.
Lovely ambience and great hospitality....
Head to this place if u r in thane and craving pan Asian food.
I visited this place for lunch.. Convenient when visiting the mall.. We had the buffet for 499/-
Buffet included soup, starter, main course & dessert.
I chose hot & sour soup, chicken rolls, drums from heaven, chilli garlic noodles , diced veggies in cantonese sauce & chilli garlic noodles.
Everything we had was tad too spicy.. But i like spicy..

Excellent defines food at Woking Mama... Accepted Monday evening is a relatively easy service for the restaurants but the food was impeccable (no laziness there). The wonton soup was brilliant, awesome n flavorsome. The Satay was a tad spicy but well balanced with the peanut sauce which was brilliantly done. And hence, the overall dish was brilliant and so was it's presentation. The Japanese livestation for main course was a brilliant option. Oh yes, please try the virgin sangria. Ambience is good. Service was brilliant, special mention for Narendra (for perfect suggestions) & Bishal. Overall great meal. Would I go back - sure.
The reason we entered was that fact that it was empty with no waiting on friendship day evening. Does create a bit of sceptisism in the mind.
The place is done up nicely. Looks very spacious and open. And on days like these what is more important is the time that you have to spend with friends.
In food we ordered crispy chestnut and bamboo shoots, paneer in garlic sauce. Both good dishes but not something to remember.
What i will remember is the chicken in banana leaf. Though it was a bit dry, the taste was lovely with a peculiar taste of coriander seeds.
Was here on a weekday for family dinner last week..Food here is yummy..the best n my favorite n a must definite try is the desert..its a thai coconut milk based desert..it has pieces of leeches n cherries..absolute delight to the tastebuds..overall the place n food is good..

Main land China has been my all-time favourite Chinese eatery. I just adore to see and feel the Hunan and Szechuan sauces embrace the prawns, chicken…yummy! And also because of its nearness to the place I live, whenever there is a craving for Chinese, I, I mean, we land there. But last Saturday we were in a shopping mall which is unfortunately not the home for this favourite diner of ours and then there was this urgent craving for Chinese….oops!! So we landed laden with uncertainty, indecision, and dubiety on this place called “The Woking Mama” to satiate our craving.
But as soon as we entered, the décor struck me. It was pretty homely, non-flashy, earthy and creative. The painted lamps, wooden furniture…it’s not bad…aha! The waiters were cordial, to friendly, to jovial…it’s kind of good…aha! And then the food, well that’s most important and I am not going to spare even a single star if that is not good enough!!
To start with we ordered, Chef’s special chilli chicken and a mocktail whose name I completely forgot. Ok fine! I admit chilli chicken is a cliché choice, but it’s ok once in a while…yes the fancy names sucks at times. Well, jokes apart, it is worth mentioning that the mocktail was ordered on the recommendation of a staff boy, who was really sweet and friendly. And we actually loved the drink, it was pure, chilled grape juice with small pieces of apple in it and probably sweetened externally to combat the occasional sour of grapes. Loved it and also the starter. For main course we ordered Woking Mama yang zhou fried rice and Prawns with bell pepper, chilli and basil. The rice was a bit spicier than we had expected, but the prawn making was a thorough delicacy.
Overall Woking Mama was a great experience and now has joined my favourite “Pan Asian eatery” list. I recommend it to people who love to explore new joints and make eating a little more than just that.

A cousin of mine told me that I am a really harsh critic when it comes to restaurants...........that I had nearly ripped apart some places where I had eaten, which actually made me realize that perhaps I am someone who is not easily impressed. I went back to several of the reviews that I have written and realized that this was one of the rare places that I was giving more than a 4 on the rating scale!!
A few weeks back, we had been to Ghaas Phoos, the restaurant right next to Woking Mama and we had noticed this place, marking it in our mind's diary. Even though we went on a Saturday, the place was not full, which came to me as a surprise, because the place is really good.
The wait staff is extremely courteous and ever smiling - the water and menus came almost as soon as we were seated. I opted for the wonton soup with shitake mushrooms, while my hubby chose the tom yum. While he said that his soup was not spicy enough, I fell in love with mine........not only were the wontons really nice, there were big pieces of shitake mushrooms! For starters, we opted for Popiah je or Thai style spring rolls and believe me when I say, they are one of the best I have ever tasted. When we noticed the banana leaf wrapped grilled chicken on the menu, we knew that we had to try it and we were so happy we did.
For the main course we chose regular hakka noodles and Kungpao chicken with cashew nuts, and while the sesame oil seemed a little heavy in the noodles, there were nothing to fault with the chicken.
All the food came within a few minutes of being ordered, it was hot and tasted really good and the fact that the total does not burn a hole in your pocket will certainly leave you happy.
Will we return - ABSOLUTELY!!!
@wokingmama been here during dinner time hoping to get some great #Chinese authentic food... Must say was not at all disappointed...
Ordered for a teppanyaki wok I.e. special dish in which we choose the veggies we wish for and the sauce as per our taste... Was very good in taste and enjoyed the same.. It was well worth Rs. 415/-, also the same is good enough to serve for two.. to make it better it comes with two pieces of paneer satey. Enjoy this dish highly recommended.
Also ordered for soya chilly basil dimsums... Which was amazing in taste, could feel the soft of the steam converting and the soya content in inside. Enjoyed this too.
Add to this experience, the mocktails - peach ice tea and yummylicious dark brownie shake, truly enjoyed the whole dinner.

So went to this place on a Sunday evening...As soon as I entered I got a Table to sit. The ambiance is luxurious, especially the ceiling height, the distance between the two tables ,the overall theme, good privacy offered.the music was also good m.
Ordered chicken satay ;Tasty ,perfectly cooked
One more starter suggested by captain : Tast again
Ordered main course , a chicken fried rice suggested by captain and a gravy. It was great, the quality of food was Nice.... Felt like eating a good Chinese👍
Ended the meal with desserts, ordered again as per captain suggestion it was cox it based and not upto the mark(disappointed)
Overall a good place to have a good time
If you are tired of the noisy and crowded atmosphere of the korum mall, this a perfect place where you can have your own space, calmness, excellent background music, tables placed at fair distance from the other ones. The ambience is perfect for selfies. We ordered chef's special noodles, teriyaki cottage cheese with veggies and blueberry cheese cake. The cottage cheese and cheese cake looked beautiful and tasted excellent. The noodles were good too. The quantity of noodles and cottage cheese was enough to serve 2-3 people. Food was decently priced. The service was excellent. A must try restaurant.

We went in for a bday celebration 3 of us we opted for sit down buffet
Started with
Chicken manchow soup weird smell but taste was well although too spicy
2nd came in chicken spring roll very well made and not even oily 👍
Then came salt and pepper chicken the chicken soft and nice but the salt did make it's point .. The marination was not well coz few bits of chicken were more saltier then the rest ..
Then came crispy veg in basil sauce this was a very nice dish the right balance of sweet n salt n basil flavour did stand out the crispiness was well maintained till the last bite
2 mocktails were incl but there were only 4 options to choose from each of us started with kiwi n sprite mix good taste and spicy guava standard guava out of tetra n the rim of glass was dipped in chilly powder for the spice effect
I went on to the fruit pinch as my 2nd choice which was Okayish the fruit juice blended with icecreAm kept on looking like a curdled milk I had to constantly stir before every sip
The came the main course
Chicken n mushrooms in oyster sauce nice n succulent chicken nice gravy
Nxt was Burnt garlic rice but what came was Corn n mix vege fried rice simple and at it's best
Fish in mustard sauce .. Basa always a fav of ours unfortunately the mustard dint do justice and for the second serving they made the same preparation overly oily and salty yuck
Burnt Garlic noodles what came was brownish sticky noodles pretty much tasteless
The the dessert time
It was dassan and icecreAm
Very well made crispy rectangle pcs of honey noodles .. Tasted bit like mathari but way thinner and sweeter ofcourse .. But it was a good end to an overall decent meal
For 500/- weekday pp it sure was a steal deal as their menu is price at an exorbitant price range ..
Anyways for a table service sit down buffet the service was super slow although very polite and smiling staff .. Once he even forgot we ordered 2nd kiwi Mocktail n we had to remind them and this wen only 3 more tables with 2-3 each was occupied , I wonder how they deal with this over weekends
Over all the ambience was good open kitchen and hard working team
I am def a return customer for my love for Chinese
Worth a 2 nd shot but again for buffet only .. No ala carte for me as outside there are better options for trying similar dishes at way cheaper and more quantity ..
A decent Chinese restaurant. I don't understand how come I didn't visit this restaurant before as I have walked many times in front of this restaurant. I am a die hard Chinese food lover. So I had to eat here.
Well the ambiance is lovely. Quite place. Seating is also very nice and neatly arranged.
The waiters are very calm and decent. We were confused with the new dishes, so the waiter there he explained us the dishes and help us get what exactly we want. This is an HIGHLIGHT.
Food was superb. We had an soup( please don't ask me he name), starters- drunken chille chicken, and PAN fried noodles.
I didn't find the food to be too costly as the quantity and the taste was amazing.
It is a must try restaurant.
Food-4/5
Service - 4/5
Ambiance 4/5
Yesterday we had a lunch there, ambiance was good, test was OK but the rating was low just because the slow service.
Overall experience was good.
I myself go silent when i am hungry. I lose interest in everything and same thing happened tht day with my friend. We were there to brainstrom for some ideas...but hunger kept us quiet.
But after going to The Woking Mama we woke up with ideas. First of all....wonderful staff who suggeted us awesome food and also suggested some new menu in advance. May be the dishes we ate are not in menu...but go and show them pics to get it.
We started with spicy soup, then Dimsum, chilli garlic noodles and some mocktails.
Not a single thing i can point out as imperfect.
Awesome food. Loving staff. Great presentation. Relaxing ambience.
I think Korum may get crowd only for food and movie now.
After Finding Good Reviews we went there had a buffet..
Soup was Awesome ,
Starter were bit spicy , but good in taste..
In Main coarse Rice were too good ,
In desserts simple vanilla ice cream was yummy...
Must Visit! !!

The food here is quite delicious with a very pleasant ambience. Max, along with is staff has been really warm and overall this a place you should try out!
Value for money.. Buffet is good for that budget.. Service needs more attention.. But always smiling.. So balances out.. They should be prompt with recommendations..
Nice restaurant with decent menu.. service is good with pleasant smiles on waiter's face.. food is nice and well-served.. and the ambience is simple.. seats well arranged.. music is like the cherry on the cake, totally justified the mood.. overall a nice place to have good food with nice music.. keep up the good work with great smiles..😊 would luv to visit again..👌👍
Tried japanese saba noodles with basa fish it was amazing.... Authentic Asian food.. the entire team trying to build up their name after a bad phase in their journey.. good efforts as the food is delicious
The food here was good but the low grading is entirely due to the immensely slow service. Initially the service was very quick and it hardly took a few minutes for the soup and some of the starters to arrive but then suddenly the service speed crashed and we were unattended for a little over 50 minutes! The waiters were courteous and we'll behaved but such long service timing is unacceptable. Not just that, our dessert order for the lemongrass crème brulee was accepted for two portions and then only one of them was served citing that it was the last one left. Shouldn't we be informed about this while placing the order? Half the other desserts were unavailable too. Also, I had been looking forward to trying their Steamed buns but they were unavailable and it was a disappointment. However, whatever food we were served was very tasty and I'm inclined to give this restaurant another chance some time soon. I am not individually mentioning the name of each dish since I'm attaching the photo of the bill.

Very pleased with the service received on my first visit here. The staff made sure we were comfortable once we were seated. Our server for the day, Max was extremely polite and helpful in suggesting some good dishes! Our favourite was the Malaysian Grilled Lamb! The seafood festival had some yum dishes too. The mango pudding suggested by Max was also ah-mazing and the best I've had till date! ❤
Amazing food, great service and nice ambience. One of the best chinese I have ever eaten. TWM was on my wishlist from a long time but as we don't go to korum mall very often, the visit was getting delayed. We really had a good experience at TWM. Entire staff was really courteous specially max. He suggested a great alternative to usual noodles called sapa which was a multigrain one. He also gave us mocktail offer that was otherwise available only on sea food order. We also had momos veg platter that was too good and authentic. We had five treasure veg soup and mango smoothie, which were very good. Must visit.

Great Food . Very yummy.
Rajesh Mahto' smiling and very knowledgable service was very good.
Really saying both were very good and memorable.
Definitely repeat visit.
Had the pleasure of having lunch at Woking Mama. Apparently the new management has taken over and I must say it was awesomely managed. The food was amazing. Max and his team hosted us really well Max really knew what we liked and wanted.
Thanks indeed
Regards
Suraj
Been here twice and just love the dimsums, all kinds! Great service too and nice ambience, especially in the little private room for a group booking. Want to back again and again!
Me and my husband were going towards the food court at Korum when he noticed a large signboard saying The Woking Mama ‘Sea food festival’. Both of us being huge fans of Chinese and seafood got lured into the restaurant. One thing I would like to emphasize is that everyone right from the hostess at the door to Max our supervisor/server and Mukesh from his team (hope I got his name right) were absolutely brilliant. Right from their hospitality, eye for detail, food recommendations and pleasant smiling faces just made our evening. We ordered the orange cinnamon iced tea, mango smoothie, spicy crab meat soup, prawn dimsums and Singapore chilly prawns which were all brilliant. The authentic Chinese taste, quantity and quality of the food was absolutely brilliant! Max also introduced us to the manager Cletus who was very polite and asked for our feedback and recommendations.
I know for a fact that we will be visiting this restaurant with our entire group of friends very often now. Cannot believe such a gem of a place was so close by to home and we hadn't heard of it. We have been to Mainland China at Viviana Mall (for lack of options) and its no way a match to Woking Mama. Keep up the good work everyone especially Max & team!! :)
Nice decent place with some authentic Chinese menu options. Tried Thai noodles and cottage cheese with stir fried veggies. Don't remember exact names. Noodles were on a spicy side where cottage cheese starter was a perfect blend of sweetness and spiciness. Just fell in love with the open space and dining area so much that it felt like home. Would like to visit again.
Had visited this place on a Sunday afternoon. The place was quite empty. Ambience was very nice and pleasant. The servers and waiters were very very courtious which is very rare to see nowadays. Food was simply amazing. Every dish had a unique and distinct flavour and texture. Would love to visit again.
Amazing food, friendly staff, spacious decor. You can also suggest them some iterations in the dish and they will be happy to serve you what you need. We wanted to try something sweet and spicy at the same time and they tweaked the existing recipe and served @us with some lipsmacking starters.
Ok have been here many a times. When ever I feel like having yummy Chinese food this is the place to be. Good quantity & quality of food. The vegetables used are very fresh. So if you are looking for a good Chinese Resturant in thane then I will definitely recommend you.
We had gone for quick lunch and tried their buffet option. Momos are good. Food is tasty. Good ambience and polite staff. Must try is this for place for good Chinese in thane.
Really lovely food and courteous staff. Very different from all the regular Chinese restaurants. It is a definite must go for all enthusiasts.
Had a lot of expectations from this place when i entered!! It had a superb ambience and good music! The food was superb ! But do not try the fried icecream at all! It tastes real bad!
One of the tasty Chinese restaurants in town. It's comparatively less popular than the other dominating Chinese outlets but it serves you very good quality & tasty food. The service is slow as we had ordered only rice named Nasi Goreng but we had to remind them twice. I observed that there were only 2 waiters to serve. The rice was amazing. Especially the Prawns Papad served with it was delicious. Ambience is simple but neat. Overall 3.5 stars from my side.
One of the best oriental cuisine restaurant. Staff is sooo very good and professional. Food was simply awesome and tasty. I would definitely keep 'Woking Mama' in my fav food destination. Keep up the good work team... Cheerzzzz
Thaneites n mulundiites need not go all the way to mainland China or 5 spice now... Woking mama is as good. Hot n sour soup n basil momos are one of the best that I ever had. Mock tails r worth a try. Diced chicken starter was yummilicious. Burnt garlic noodles were good bt was a little dissapointed in hakka rice. Fish n chicken main course was superb...
Ambience is really intriguing n peppy. Very youngish feel... interesting cutlery as well :)
Max head waiter was very hospitable n polite.
Must go to Woking mama to satisfy good Chinese cravings..
