Kutirodyog is very trusted hotel and serving people from last many years(established)
Recently one of my best friend trapped me with my craving on Maharshtrian food.
She lured me with a drink named Piyush to a Proper traditional food restaurant in local named as Kutirodyog. Its situated near the famous and Thane's one of the most tasty and spicy Mamledar Misal in Thane West. So we reached there and it is was my first visit to the place (Kutir Gruhudyog). I was just surprised by seeing to the restaurant as the place was just filled with small antiques. Also there were many more rare brass and aluminum utensils from olden times. When we reached as always I was pretty confused regarding what is to be ordered. So I handed this task to her. And as it was one of those true and rare Maharshtrian delicacy restaurants. We both just wanted to stick to the Local authentic foods. As a Mumbaikar's obsession we ordered a Batata Wada (potato patties) plate, followed by Kothimbirwadi (patties made of coriander), then came the famous Thaali-peeth that is made out of mutligrain flour of whole grains. I was so damn overwhelmed with the fact that such things were still existed. It was not luxury but a simple and healthy cuisine with just prices too friendly to our pockets.
And to conclude the meal I ordered the fantasy I was there for 🤤. The word that dragged me there literally its Piyush (No its not someones person 😅) Its the name of a cold beverage. Just make sure that you don't have more then one glass. As its so heavy but as I was greedy, that after I had 2 full glasses of Piyush I was literally searching place to ly down haha.
But I really really would recommend this place for someone who wants to try out I would not say a whole Maharshtrian flavours. But yes this place can give you a gist of how the Maharshtrian food or snacks tastes like.
To foodies and sweet tooth person like me the Piyush was ACE to lure 😍 me.
What' s Piyush? Read below:
Sweet dessert that seems to be similar to an authentic shrikhand thick shake. But it has its own flavour and the first thing at first sip you will feel the taste is traditional rich one.

💎 Schezwan Pizza 🍕 is good but can be more tasty.
💎 Piyush is a popular drink here which tastes like lassi.(its heavy)
💎Sandwich is okay.
Decorated as a old antique places.
A legendary place going back to the 50's serving only snacks and Tea coffee then. With time they have adopted towards other south Indian snacks. Their specialities include wada pav, sabudana wada, cutlet and piyush...
I tried a Wada Pav and piyush here... Piyush is a version of shrikhand which is watery. Its a bit different than lasso with more flavors and sweetness.
Try their specialities for sure when around Talaopali area....
Yummy food ,affordable rates ,Quick service are the three main things about this restaurant, it never disappointed me ,specially for Maharashtrian food lovers ,it's a paradise .
