Excellent place for aurhentic CKP food! The Atharva special thali is very good....it has sufficient quantity for 2. We got bombil fry and surmai tava fry and the fish was excellent and fresh. The restaurant gives you a homely feel. The owner of the restauramt cooks herself and that gives a divine touch to the food. Prawns thali was too good. the Prawns were very fresh and fried with excellence. I will definitely visit this place again. Sea food lovers this is the place for you
Recently visited this place and is such an awesome place. Fish was fresh, tasty and was cooked to perfection. Tandul Bhakari were so soft. Food was great and felt like I am eating at home. Suchna comforting food.

Accidently I bumped into this place. Since Hemant was closed and I didnt want to waste time travelling we went inside and ordered for Surmai and Pomfret thali. It was amazingly delicious. Undoubtedly the best sea food I had in the last 1 year in Thane. Its a decent place with homely feel. Overall best experience.
Explained this to my wife after reaching home and she immediately ordered for Maharaja Mutton and Bhakri. More about it after tasting this one.

Well,broke my shravan yesterday.I had such an appetizing food here.Quiet reasonable compared to other outlets serving non veg very expensive.I just tried mutton masala handi which just tasted like homemade mutton rassa.The gravy(Rassa) was perfectly spicy and the mutton in it.......aaah so damn good!properly cooked, mutton was so tender and fresh.Eating that with Bhakri was such a delight.I definitely recommend to try mutton here as it was so amazing.It just felt heavenly after eating that juicy mutton. It was my first time i visited this place and i am definitely revisiting this place near louis wadi.Staff was not that professional.Seating area has capacity of 15-20 people.One more thing to add...I dont know whether it had a authentic ckp taste as i have never ate ckp food.

A friend and I ordered the atharva special thali. And to our surprise it had all the non veg items you could have. It had sea food, chicken and mutton. They serve this with jowar or rice bhakri. We chose jowar bhakri. The dishes were authentic and delicious. It was as if I was eating at a friend's place. It was home cooked food and had the grandmother's taste. The satisfaction one experiences with every morsel of home cooked food due to the wholesomeness is what I felt. The mutton dish was served cold but was still really tasty. The chicken kadhi went very well with the rice. We also ordered for a surmai fry and it hit the spot. It was crispy and perfectly cooked with yummy masala.
They had served sukhat bhaji. I will never forget the taste. It was AMAZING. The staff is very sweet and one of the ladies also asked if we liked the food. This is the first time I experienced a warm home like treatment in a restaurant. A must try and a place I will visit regularly.
I am a regular customer of this joint.. I am in love with the delicacies served here. The service and the hospitality go hand in hand with the quality of food served here. The bombil (Bombay Duck) fry served here is the best of all. Surmai fry, prawns are equally good. Mutton maharaja is a must taste and very delicious. Full points to the presentation. Awesome food, authentic CKP dishes. Located conveniently at Thane (West). Ordered a few dishes: Rawas Fisg fry, Mutton Masala, Chapatti, Rice, Cocum Sarbat. It is good enough to stimulate your tste buds and bring you back to the same restaurant !!!

This place is run by ladies and that reflect in the taste. Having Food here feels very homely, tasty and is a satisfying experience. Not some fancy hotel with fancy interiors. In my opinion this is the best place to have mutton in Thane. Mutton here is so soft and Mutton maharaja with Keema in gravy is superb. Fish thali is also very good. Chicken thali is somewhat average. This place also serves saouji chicken and mutton dishes and they are not bad either. I visit this place very often. I ll recommend this place to all the foodies who are really into taste not the ambience.
I stay at Vasind I had visited for work at Thane one of friend suggested and recommended Atharvas ckp tadka for non veg food myself and my friend visited their and order Surmai thali and prawns thali when I had the food it was really amazing and tasty mouthwatering with good quality of material use and best part was no soda use for making food so I highly recommend this place for good quality quantity and reasonable food in A/C restaurant...
Next time I will try Mutton maharaja which is signature dish of Atharvas ckp tadka..

Wow CKP food,👍at reasonable cost. Non veg lovers visiting thane must try. Though the sitting space is limited it's worth the trouble going there. Recommended Bombil and Surmai fry.
I ordered the Mutton maharaja which is mutton and kheema based thick masala. The mutton was cooked to perfection. The mutton sukkha gravy was amazing as well.

Excellent authentic ckp cuisine. The Kheema pattice and fried prawns were so delicious that it was difficult to move over to the main course. For main course ordered a mutton thali and pomfret thali. Was full to the brim but couldn't stop eating coz of the taste. A very homely ambiance and extremely hospitable staff. The owners themselves manage the kitchen assuring that quality is not compromised.
Visited Atharvas CKP Tadka with my husband yesterday on our way home from Pune. Pomfret fry and Kolambi tawa fry agadi surekh hoti. So was the taste of mutton Maharaja. One more thing I would like to mention is about Pranjali Nachane tai. Saw her handling customers with such elan which was as beautiful as the food that she makes. Salute your patience! Recommended by a friend who believes in taste ...ended up visiting impromptu for a late night dinner. Super soft rice bhakris, mutton maharaja(kheema and mutton pieces) and surmai fry all came in pretty quick and satiated the super hungry us.
Since it was just me and wifey regretted that we could only taste two of the varieties...come last week my friend was with his family and I decided to join them...everyone ordered our own thalis ...personally I loved the mutton sukka more than maharaja...ole bombil not pata khalche were fried to perfection and so was kolambi(thin better) super fresh seafood which even my seafood lover friend couple appreciated...
Next time I am gonna give kolambi lipte, mutton kheema pattice and sodyachi khichdi a try...economical and quick package for a more than satisfactory meal and I am sure it's gonna give a tough competition to the modest Hemant besides
This place is surely for the people who love ckp cuisine and the way of cooking. Awesome taste and quantity of meat. Chicken sukha, mutton souji, surmayi fry are must haves here.

We ordered Surmai thali and Prawns thali. Both were delicious. A big Surmai fry slice and 7 medium sized prawns fry pieces. Both were fresh and tasted really well marinated.
Solkadhi was just like what we make ag home.
Some improvements required
1. Cleanliness of place
2. Waiters need to be in clean clothes.
3. That onion cutting right in the middle of everything is disturbing.

If you are foodie for non veg, then this is one of the best places to visit. Don't go by the ambience but go by the taste. I had ordered Bombil fry and kolambi fry taste was good though quantity should be a bit more. Surmai thali with bhakri and chapati, chicken sukha thali with bhakri. Both type of thalis were good, quality and quantity wise. One must visit this as it's value for money

Saoji mutton was up to the mark and as good as what we get specially in Nagpur. Being from Nagpur I am quite good in the taste of Saoji and this place has delivered me what I was expecting nearby in thane..
The ambience is nothing to write home about, but the food is great. Freshly made and served, so the sea food items were perfectly done. The chapati was a tad on the oily side but otherwise a great experience.
Test is good but qutitiy is less and the price waise high.over all ok actually it's mainly for non veg food

Excellent CKP style cuisine, especially fish. Must try if you haven't. Limited seating space ( 4 tables to be precise), but that's expected from a hole in the wall type eatout place.
Edit :- If you are in a mood for simple vegetarian, they have good selection as well.

I don't know why isn't this restaurant hyped as other place with fish food....great taste, freshly hot served food that is all people look for when they go out to eat. I visited here with my family....we ordered a Sauji chicken thali (only if u can bare with the spice which keeps on hitting randomly...bt best spice hits ever 😋), bombil thali and a surmai thali which was served with a good amount and size of fish... Also we had ordered kolambi masala and bombil fry separately....trust me those two dishes were a lot tempting, and every dish was freshly made and served hot....also saste me kaam nipat jaata hai....there is hemant as well in the same line bt the only thing is u get variety of dishes to order at CKP Tadka and that's what I loved about it.... If u are a seafood lover and looking for it around thane I would say this is a must visit...also the place is a bit small if u are big family of 9-10 people that will be fine then....well good luck to u guys.. ☺️❤️👍
