Fantastic food, I have ordered chicken seekh Tawa masala let me tell u it is exactly how u would imagine it to be, the gravy was thick with beautiful red colour n taste was how we get food in north, I have also ordered Amritsari chicken n it was also superb if u wana have a good North Indian style chicken dishes then u have to try this place, hats off to the chef tnx for using fresh Masalas & gravy keep up the good work
We had ordered for chicken masala and bhendi fry masala...the food was v.tasty and spicy as v needed and the order delivered within 30 mins to my home.... and also the quantity was good compared to other restaurants... ☺ will definately try the other nonveg dishes too..

Pocket friendly good quality food. We had ordered butter chicken, kadhai paneer with naan and jeera rice. As the name suggested, was expecting Delhi style butter chicken, but was really disappointed when the butter chicken was spicy instead of being sweet. kadhai paneer was really tasty though, and portions were sufficient.
Daawat-e-delhi as the name suggest that there will be delicacies from delhi. And they have made justice to their name.
Its a small hotel located @ghodbunder road on the main highway. As the hotel is opposite to my house we have ordered home delivery many a times. Believe me there are many hotel on this road but never got good quality and tasty food. But after daawat e delhi i m relived to have good food.
They have different varieties from delhi, sindhi breakfast, Gujarati egg dishes and many other indian dishes.
We ordered paneer achari, tandoor aloo with cheese stuffing, chicken tikka, mutton seekh kebab, soya chaap masala(which is very famous in delhi) . Each and every dish was perfectly made with a proper taste. They should get a good rating .
The owner of the restaurant is very humble and polite
we visited Daawat-e- Delhi on a Sunday afternoon.. this is mainly a take away joint but they did accommodate 13 of us there.
Food is amazing especially the Chap in both veg and non veg. Staff is very friendly and polite.

Will keep it short, since I have only got the chance to taste their Mutton Dum Biryani till now on several occasions. Located at Kasarvadavli area in Thane, a must try joint if your looking for a mouth watering Mughlai/ North Indian cuisine experience.
My verdict about the Mutton Dum Biryani is that its quite good as far as the taste and flavor is concerned. I keep ordering via zomato online app as its generally a home delivery order from my end, hence can't comment upon the ambience of this joint. The packaging is great and overall it does perfect justice to the price being charged for the same.
Coming to the Cons now......
On a few occasions , Daawat-e- Delhi has disappointed us with late deliveries, wrong orders and sub-standard quality of food (as compared to their normally assessed standards). Even after being such regular customers of this joint, the least we can expect is timely delivery and quality food. I hope the management team of Daawat-e-Delhi takes note of the same and work on it.
I would conclude my review, by stating that Daawat-e-Delhi is surely a promising joint as far as their authenticity of mughlai cuisines are concerned, but they definitely need to improve upon their customer response time and maintenance of uniform food quality as far as regular customers are concerned.

Daawat E Delhi is the perfect place at GB Road, Thane where one can find lip smacking authentic Delhi and Sindhi Food. Right from the Delhi Butter chicken to the egg ghotala anddd my mouth gets watery, so let’s go on. The ambiance of the place is typically small with a seating of 20-30. The place also delivers in the nearby areas, so this proves to be a complete benefit. The entire feel of the place is very Desi and traditional.
Daawat e Delhi is an small restaurant on Ghodbunder Road of Thane serving some lip smacking Sindhi food.
What I had :
1. Cheese Aloo Tandoori
Tandoored aloo with cheese popping out is the one of the best appetizer at Daawat e Delhi
2. Soya sticks
Made from soya,as the name suggests, is little hard but full of protien and perfect to suffice the taste buds.
3. Sindhi kebab
The basic kebab from the house Sindhi's were the best to gorge on.
4. Dal pakwan
The signature dish of Sindhi's was delicious with perfectly cooked dal and crispy pakwan.
5. Paneer Patiala
6.Shahi Paneer
7.Dal makhani
Both the north Indian dishes were good to have.
The best Dal Makhani I have ever had. Dal makhani is must must have here.
8. Dal khichdi
Hot piping dal khichdi is basic but the best.
9. Sindhi Fulka
A special mention to this fulkas which are soft and tasty made from Dahi making it crave for more.

Nice place. Good and simple Ambience. We went there for dinner. More of a delivery based restaurant. Some good hot, spicy, flavourful food was the need of the hour as we were watching IPL qualifier 2 with all the excitement at the restaurant. And guess what, we were not disappointed.
Sindhi kebab, Tandoori aloo cheese, Soya chaap, Chicken tikka, Methi chicken tikka, Tandoori chicken, Patyala chicken/paneer, Delhi Butter chicken, Egg ghotala is what we had. Everything was great and had its own unique flavors.
Methi Chicken tikka was the best of the lot. Delhi Butter chicken and egg ghotala were amazing too. Egg ghotala was something that I never had before and just loved it. Starters were made in sindhi & typical north Indian style, it had a beautiful taste and was served with some nice chatpata salad.
One more attraction was the Tandoori roti which was prepared with the use of milk. It was fresh and had its own wonderful taste.
Service was good. The owner treated us as we were his guests.

There is no wrong this restaurant can do when it comes to quality and the taste of the food served. With a small set of well trained staff, the service at Dawaat-e-Delhi is immaculate.

2. Methi Chicken Tikka - A methiful flavour. Must try.

4. Delhi Butter Chicken - How on earth can you go to a restaurant with "Delhi" in its name and not try the Butter Chicken..! Too good to be missed.

We ordered Paneer Patiyala, Laccha Paratha & cheese stuffed aloo which was very delicious. Speaking about the paneer Patiyala the taste was very authentic & it gave a feel of eating in Amritsar. Go & try yourself, you will love it.
The perfect North Indian taste :) Chana masala, dal makhani... Every other dish taste really good. The menu offer lot of choices and reasonably priced. Delivery is also on time.

The starter we ordered (Chicken Tandoori) was very good. Juicy, succulent & right combination. Post the starter our expectations were high with the main course. Here is when we were quite disappointed. The Butter Chicken which they claim is way different and one of it's kind, was super salty and was super to be chatpata rather than sweet. Desserts / sweets are yet to be started

Dined at this little restaurant on Ghodbunder Road. Was a little apprehensive as the speciality was authentic North Indian n sindhi cuisine. However to our pleasant surprise, the food is actually quite good. Tried the dal makhani and they did not go wrong here..the amritsari dhaba chicken was also scrumptious. The sindhi kebabs were hot and succulent. If you at Ghodbunder road in thane, would recommend this place.

Best punjabi food i have eaten in thane. I was missing it since so long after coming to mumbai. Authentic taste. Loved the dal makhani, i was advised to have butter chicken. Cant wait to write about it after tasting it

Daawat-e-Delhi is a newly opened restaurant on Ghodbunder. We have had some amazing and delicious preparations such as Dal Makhni, Dum Biryani, Chicken Amritsari at this place and were super delighted with the flavours. They recently started serving Chicken Lahori which was simply delicious!!! Must try for all Ghodbunder Residents. Keep it up Daawat Team!!!

I had ordered for paneer patiyala and gatte ki subji today...taste was loved by everyone at home..just one addition the gatte and paneer were to big..the gatte can be smaller and paneer can be in smaller cubes . pricing as compared to quantity is also fare . Overall descent deal.
Dawat-e-Delhi is a small dine in and take-away restaurant located at Godhbunder Road. GB Road has an extensive residential area along with several corporate parks, so having a restaurant in such a locality is really a benefit for people of this area. Concept Testing: (3.75/5). The entire concept of Daawat-e-Delhi is serving authentic North Indian food and feels like its just from Delhi. Also the ambiance is also created in a certain way that does give a slight desi feeling. Though there is a lot of scope to enhance the ambiance and get it in sync with the food served, they are definitely on track.

This is a newly opened one..Small place but really good food. They take time to deliver (on an avg about 35 to 40 mins) for they make it fresh and hence food here tastesgood. Had ordered Paneer Patiala with Vegetable Biryani recently. Both werere tasty, especially the Paneer,which was brilliant. The Biryanis can be improved further I feel. Have also had Paneer Lababdar, Vegetable Jaipuri and Chicken Biryani in the past, all of which were delicious. Paneer Lababdar is the best dish I've eaten here so far. Will be ordering your recommended Non Veg items soon. The place is highly recommended. Keep up the good work guys.

The Daawat-e-Delhi special mutton was awesome. The Hyderabadi biryani is what we in Mumbai call biryani. Not really Hyderabadi which is less spicy and more flavourful. But it was really tasty all the same. I will definitely be ordering from them again

We reached the place at around 10.30 pm and would like to give full credit to them for still maintaing the quality of the food and service.
The food tastes amazing and is the best North Indian food that I have had in a long long time.
Since it was late, thus could not try my hand at the starters, but would definately give most of them a try.
We had Chole Bhature, Delhi butter chicken and lachcha paratha....All of them were as authentic as they can get.
I would really recommend this place to any and every one out der whose looking to have quality food at the best price in the company of an amazingly good host.

Food is simply amazing. I loved the taste. We ordered Chicken Tikka, Methi Chicken Tikka, Soya Chaps and Dahi Tikki. You can try out some unique recipes here. I tasted Soya Chaps first time and it was so yummy. Methi chicken tikka undoubtedly tops the list and everyone must try. Staff is courteous and friendly. Ambiance is homely. All in all I loved the food and will recommend Dawat-E-Delhi to everyone

One more winner on Ghodbunder Road! It has that ingredient missing in regular restaurants... Authentic Delhi Taste. Had Paneer Patiala and it was tasty and like nothing I'd tasted before. Be sure to have their special Chaas!! Next time will have their non veg offerings...
Delicious food and excellent service
I had tried Checken fried rice. It was 9:57pm when i have placed an order from Zomato and as soon as i placed order it shown me expected delivery time 10:55pm. I was too hungry I personally called on given number and requested them for early delivery. The staff seems so polite and well mannered. I received my parcel dot at 10:25pm, 30 mnst prior a expected time which is highly appreciated, excellent service.

The food was nicely packed in very hygienic plastic container. Rice was cooked in very less oil, spices were perfect tested very different from the ordinary fried rice. It was outstanding well proportioned & light on stomach. Would like to taste more different dishes from Daawat E Delhi.

On a lazy afternoon the only thing I craved for was a good meal. While I was scrolling on Zomato deciding on the cuisine I happen to view a new name pop up Daawat E Delhi. Reading the reviews I knew thier chicken lababdar and chicken masala are very good. I thought of trying the mutton biryani and the dal makhani instead. I judge a restaurant food with the biryani they prepare. If they get the biryani right then the rest should be good.
The rice of the Mutton Biryani was the perfect colour and the perfect flavour. the mutton was perfectly cooked unlike many eateries where it will be chewy. Since I am not too fond of the too much masala biryani,this seemed to be perfect. Dal Makhani was also the typical style and really tasty. The quantity is good for the price they charge. One dish is sufficient for two people. They delivered almost on time and I liked that they called me back for a feedback.
I am visiting them sooner or later for sure to try out thier other dishes. They seem to be a sincere committed bunch of youngsters in the food business.. Cheers to you guys.
A must have food from Dawaat-e-Delhi. Specially the chicken tikka and butter chicken it is yummylicious for me and my family. Looking forward for more and more yummy food.
Ordered butter chicken and dum biryani. Butter chicken was probably the best I had in the recent past. The taste was very different from the usual Punjabi restaurants I order from, the chicken was tender, gravy was consistent.
Biryani was superb.
Tried Chicken Lababdar and Paneer Lababdar. Food is really tasty with spill proof packing. Like the taste of chutney which came as accompaniment. One feed back from my side is oil was too much in the dish. I am health conscious foodie and don't want my food very oily. Roti was crisp and nice. All in all a very tempting food!

I ordered chicken biryani and chicken lababdar after going through the reviews. the biryani was good, but honestly, i didn't go crazy over it. the chicken in the biryani however was very tender and I must congratulate the chef for that. the fried onion bits in the biryani were also a lovely addition.but what i really liked was the chicken gravy. it was sensational! the delivery was on time and the owner, who himself delivered the food, was very courteous. overall, a good experience. will definitely order again!

We go to restaurants to eat. That is what is special about the place. I had tandoori roti, lacha paratha, dal makhni, chass & chicken lababdar.

In terms of ambience, they are working on it. However, the green chutney which they served with other dishes was palatable. I could not help asking for one more which they generously served.
