I visited this place on last weekend. i had tasted masala dosa and filter coffee. That was so delicious its perfect south indian dosa. They served along with coconut chutney and sambar. Compared to other restaurants this coconut chutney is so fresh and it has a good taste. And that sambar is like a typical madras style .The aroma and taste was excellent.. they used some black pepper to enrich the sambar taste and aroma. It costs 120 rupees its really value for money. The quantity and quality both are well managed. Filter coffee maintained a balance acidity. And ambiance also very good.. great place for south indian dishes
South Bombay Thane was a wonderful weekend brunch experience for us, loved the cozy ambience and the food is just top notch..loved the variety of dosas and my favourite was the rasam Wada...loved this place, and is Our favourite hangout place, definitely a place to try for best South Indian food in Thane 👍😊
Great place to hang out, and a wide variety of south Indian dishes also delicious juices.............must-visit place, one a personal note I loved coconut chutney with Dosa. Awesome
Really nice place if you want to explore dosa, sandwich, chat, salads, juice...loved the chatany served with dosa..
If you want to have good & tasty south Indian food then HAS SB is a great option. Tried multiple items on multiple occassions n they never failed to amaze me with taste & quality.
My son loves masala dosa & idli here, its actually very yummy.
Hygiene level is good & service is quick too.
Truly speaking, it's one of best place in Mumbai for South Indian dishes. Specially the dosas. If you visit The Walk then it's a must visit restaurant for you.
Love their mini medu Vadas and South Indian platter. Bit on higher side but taste is top notch. My go to place when I am in the vicinity.
We were looking for authentic South Indian food outlet and of course with some variety/novelty in the food. We had been to this outlet for two times. This outlet came in the HE Thane area. The outlet has capacity to accommodate about 50-60 guests. Very neat & clean place and well maintained.
Ambiance: Pleasing.
Food: Excellent. The portions for rice preparations are medium.
We tried Bisibelle bhat - Very good. Also, we tried Pongal but had some different taste/preparation than the one I had in Chennai. Of course the taste will will vary location to location.
Peri Peri Dosa - Very good.
Pesto Dosa : Excellent
South Platter: Very good.
The sambhar and Chutney are also good accomplishments
Overall excellent experience and definitely a must visit to try different variety of Dosas.
The food here is always recommended n would be best pocket friendly hotel in this area, u can tryout tomyum uttapum n Bombay uttapum are most tastiest, overall experience will be always satisfactory. Must visit. Here idlis are rawa idli which is not upto mark, which I personally didn't liked it. However I recommend this one for satisfying your satiety. Thank you
As a south indian lover,. I really enjoyed this place. Have been here multiple times, do try their pizza utappa, it's healthy yet super tasty.
This is located in The walk Hiranandani estate. We went here for breakfast. Food here is amazing. We had pineapple sheera and it was delicious.
We also ordered uttapam, medu vada, butter idli podi and ofcourse filter coffee.
I loved everything we had here. Must try.
Amazing place in Hiranandani .
We tried few South Indian dishes and they all were just perfectooooooo .
Right from rawa dosa to paner bhurji dosa it was great in taste .
Chutney given as accompaniment was fresh and tasty too.
If you're a fan of South Indian cuisine and love to experiment, this place is for you. Quirky dosa combinations! Do try the south indian platter and the peri peri dosa. The pesto dosa doesn't disappoint as well (for the ones who love Italian). Prompt service! The sambar needs improvement though. Over all great!
We went there for evening snacks. We waited 15 mins for the table . Place was full . We have ordered just Bombay uttapum and filter coffee. I had the best Coconut chutney. Uttapum was also great in taste and properly cooked. Filter coffee was good.
Never knew that my locality has an amazing dosa parlor. All the items in the menu is simply amazing and tastes perfect. The ambience is awesome. This place is located in The Walk, Hiranandani Estate. Pesto Dosa and Nutty Belgian shake from HAS juices is a must try here.
We also had Pineapple Sheera here. It was delicious.

Good place to have a snack. The south Indian fusion menu is good. The Juices are good too. The place gets a decent family crowd over the weekends for evening snacks and dinner, so plan accordingly.
I had ordered Mysore masala dosa from HAS South Bombay Powai branch and it was delicious. The dosa was heavily and richly stuffed. The taste was also good. Would definitely recommend.
Super place for unique south indian dishes and mind blowing juice options. Fresh food served with love. Uniquely crafted dishes, this outlet has great focus on hygeine and cleanliness. Must visit
One thing I like about this place is their service.
I reached late, after 11 in the evening with my friends.
Though we were late but still they got convinced and got ready to serve the food.
The was delicious and well cooked.
Really recommend this place for the south Indian food lovers, especially their peri peri dosa.
Awesome food at reasonable price. Mysore masala and pav Bhaji are a must try. Shikhanji is also good. Prompt service. One should definitely visit this place.
Too good place, perfect for families & friends... Great ambiance, Neat and clean and authentic South Indian Food. Would love to come again when I near the airport. Lovely place
I loooove this place. Delicious south indian at a decent price and cool ambience. I have had different types of dosas, curd rice, idli, wada and of course there delicious mix of juices.

Stunning food, great service! A must visit! This place keeps it simple and delivers big on taste. Pick up any item on the menu and it’s great! The availability of the HAS Juice bar just makes it all the more exciting and complete!
Love the variety of dosas and mulgapudi idli here.
My favourites are: pineapple sheera(quantity for 2)
Filter coffee, mulgapudi idli, paneer spring roll Dosa and American delight Dosa.
Perfect place for family lunch to crave your South Indian food wants. Very affordable.

This Place is combination of HAS juice & south bombay which offers south indian delicacies.
Nice peacefull place.. it follows self service approach.
Price is reasonable, location is perfect.
We tried Pesto Dosa - it was awesome & a must try
South indian platter - combination of idli, Medu wada & Dal wada — overall it ws good but not amazing kinda.
Sambhar is much better than cocunut chutney.
Sabudana wada - it ws good, specially curd along with that ws sweet n thick.
Enjoyed food here.. 😊
This place never disappoints you when it comes to simple and delicious food. This place is almost a weekend go to place for me. Last time i tried fried idli and that was as delicious as Dosa. Picture also describes the taste. Quantity is enough for one person.
Love the food, love the taste, love the presentation.
The pricing could have been better.
But one cannot have it all! Unfortunately!!
This is a self service restaurant, which means you pay and pick up your dishes on your own, though they do clean up after you are done on their own.
We had :
Bisilbelle bhat: Amazing taste. Absolutely worth it and would definitely recommend this dish!
And for drinks
Shikanji: Another must try! Absolute delight
And watermelon juice: Good enough. A very simple drink. Just enough sugar content.
A must visit, a new joint in The Walk compound, Hiranandani estate. But will surely pick up pace.
Ordered their south platter combo meal
Which included
4mini idlis (expecting it to be a bit bigger tho)
2 Daal vada
2 Medu vada
1 sambar 2 chutneys
And also ordered their watermelon refresher
The taste was awesome . Perfect place if you are drooling for some south indian food. Pocket friendly . its very rare to find good south indian food this definitely comes in the list
The watermelon refresher was absolutely divine
Fusioned south indian food that was amazingly good and serving size was really good. Spacious and well done space. Overall this is one south indian food stop that was really good.
Really good food but only south special , littile expensive but worth the money. We ordered dosa and that was awesome expensive but not worth the money 😄 may be other outlets would be more better then this , self service.
Ambience is good , go with friends and family.
South Bombay is a nice family restaurant. I had tried Moong Dal dosa and Mysore masala dosa with filter coffee. I really liked the taste and had a good time with family. Though the only thing that I didn't liked was sambhar was little sweet. I like it to be spicy. Rest everything was nice.
South Bombay is one of those place who serves the best Dosas. Our current favourite turned to be Moong dal crispy dosa ..
Do check their outlets in Thane and Malad as well
Wanted to have a vegetarian meal today and since I was in Thane, this is the best place there. Located at The walk in Hirandani Estate where there are a number of options this definitely stands out with its menu selection .
The dosas here are outstanding, I tried the following ;
Pesto Dosa : The taste of the creamy pesto with capsicum and vegetables melt in your mouth
Masala idli : The masala used for this idli is extra ordinarily. You should also try the filter coffee with masala idli .
They have an open kitchen so hygiene and quality of food is number 1
Menu : 5 Star
Staff : 5 star ( self service but the staff is very friendly )
Food taste & quality : 5 star
Portion Size : 5 star
Ambiance : 4 star
A decent place with good south indian cuisine. We had mini idlis, mini medu vada, tom yum utthappa, sada dosa, and rava sada....And off course 2 rounds of their authentic filter coffee. It's a self service place with prepaid orders. The food gets ready quickly, although u have to specifically ask for their "red chutney" which is yummy...And I don't understand what it is not served along with sambar and green chutney as a standard. They have good cashback offer tie up with paytm. A place definitely for a quick fix south indian food craving.
One of the best most friendliest restaurants in Thane. The staff is extremely accomodating. Food is very good. Pricing is perfect. Would strongly recommend this place.
The cheese garlic Dosa is just amazing. They have healthy options as well for diet conscious people. So overall the food is good and will surely visit again. All who love south Indian food will surely like this place
South Indian food with a twist..
This has all the stuff along with the regular South Indian food.. So why waste time on the regular stuff and head straight to try something like the Peri peri dosa or the roast ghee dosa.. Great food and absolutely value for money...
P.S. - They have great options for juices too, but somehow felt they were a bit on the expensive side.. That's a small thing that could be looked at
It's a South Indian joint. The food is good.
The ambience is nice.
It's a self service joint. You order and then you have to collect your food.
I love the mulgapudi idli served here. First time when I had it here they they had several mini idlis served with ghee and gun powder. On my second visit they gave it as a normal sized idly.
The taste was same however I loved it more when it came as mini idlis.
For filter coffee lover who love their coffee strong, here you get a strong coffee.
This time I had a small bad experience from one of my staff. I asked for extra chutney, he was rude in the way of saying we only serve once per plate. I went to the counter and asked for one chutney and how much it costs. He said no extra charges.
Please train your staff. Such small experience leave a bad taste.
Else this is a great joint to have South Indian food.
Wanted to try this place for a long time so decided to order it at home
The south platter was good though its not suppose to fill your stomach,,the idlis were the best soft as we expect it to be , one of the few places whose dal vada is actually good and the medu vada was crispy but i feel it can be more tasty dont know felt something was missing
The mysore masala dosa was amazing and pretty heavy to eat too loved it..
The chutney i think the coconut chutney was the the best , the sambhar can be improved about on taste and the third chutney provided was perfect too
The order was on time ofcoourse its a couple of mins from my place and the packing was perfect...
If they manage the small taste fixes they can reach the 5 rating as of now they can survive with 4
the prices are decent enough so you all can give this place a try
South Bombay is a perfect blend of South Indian cuisine with westernised foods. As said the taste is excellent and I personally loved uttappa pizza and pesto dosa . Do also try filter coffee in beverages.
Having been to lot of authentic south restaurants was a bit hesitant to try this one out, so went with least expectations, but was not disappointed. Pretty decent joint with fast service. The menu vadas are finely crisped. The idly fry is a must try dish. The dosas too are excellent. The sambhar is too sweetish. Definitely worth a visit.
A good restaurant with nice ambience. It's self serve where u will have to play your order and pick up too. The unique thing is u get a mouse like wireless metal plate which vibrates when the order is ready.
Food : I ordered for South Indian platter which has idli, medu vada and dal vada. We also ordered for cheese chilly uttapam pizza. While the South Indian platter was really nice with sambhar and chutney. The experiment of uttapam pizza was a let down.
The HAS juices are also great
3 for food and 1 for the vibrating Mouse like object
We also tried Pav Bhaji , Pesto Dosa (new arrival), HAS Orange juice and HAS Bornvilla Choco Milkshake
Amazing food and decent service! Their upma pusi and mini idli was amazing must try. All their dosas are a must try! They have a self service system but if you go early in evening or morning their staff is very kind enough to serve you at the table.
My go to place if I don't want to have heavy dinner or lunch. This place is located at The Walk and probably it is best running place there compared to other restaurants and lounges.Food: I usually order dosa and other random stuff, pav bhaaji dosa and mysore masala are my personal favorite. Quality and hygiene is supreme here.Service; Pretty quick and self service at timeParking: Ample basement parking coz it is located at The WalkAmbience: Minimal yet appealingMy take: Personal favorite ever since I have shifted to Estate
The cuisine of South with the varieties of Bombay. Classic combination.
tasty moong dal dosa and yummy vada
Trishan arrived right on time to deliver the
order.Excellent service.
Place is situated at Hiranandani The walk. On a Friday afternoon place was quite empty.
Ordered Malgapodi Idli it was delicious with all the southern flavours.
Mini medu vada was crisp as a virgin paper and bisibelle bath is worth trying.
Must visit place for south indian food.

I don't know why this place had named South Bombay people get confused by imaging colaba & all. Haha jokes apart, but this outlet should name something like South India. Because they serve really good & mouth watering Dosas.
I ordered Rava masala dosa of 140rs. Pretty good quantity served with green chutney & sambar. Both the sambar & dosa tasted very good. Loved it.
Thank you for serving us.
The place is well located and serves good south Indian food. The flavors are well suited to the palate. The menu has a variety of dishes to choose from, especially the Dosa's! The vadas in the dahi vada, were however, a little hard and difficult to bite into but nevertheless, the flavor was good. They serve a very good quantity for the price. Much recommended.

The staff is good n helping .. ambience is mainly not fancy but clean n tidy.If you happen to visit this during evening tim on weekends please take reservations.. as its the most crowded of all.. n would easily take your 20-25mins if in waiting.
The best South Indian dishes they serve with Love
Fancy, yet not a hit to the pocket! The south platter teleports you to the south and the best part- you get to taste all of the best things- dal wada, medu wada and idli. I wish hey served paniyarams! Moong dal crisy dosa was way too crispy, but nice. Who could forget the very comforting Bisibelle bhat! And an array of HAS juices- the fruit punch is the best!
The only pure veg restaurant at The Walk! And what a delight to eat here!!! Small menu but each and every item in it is prepared and cooked to perfection.
The seating capacity is less and staff is alert and prompt. No waiters serving on the table here. On weekends there’s always waiting. But all of it worth the taste.
We ordered Medu Wada which was crispy and cooked well. Dosa was also lovely and filling. Filter coffee and Masala Chai were a hit too!
Looking forward to taste other things on the menu soon.
The best best best place to eat south Indian food. The menu doesn't have 100s of item but whatever there is , everything is the best. From the classic idli Wada to the very tasty bhisi belle bhat. There is everything that your taste buds will thank you for. This place is comfortable and very affordable. For two people it will be approx 250/- rs. That's hardly anything for hygienic healthy tasty food. This place is like a blessing for people of hiranadani. Highly recommend it. Do visit and try it for yourself.
Satiates a South Indian taste bud..amazing dosa.. We had ordered a spring roll dosa, pongal (rice dish) and filter coffee.. Filter coffee was perfect!!! Spring roll was good.. And pongal was average.
We visited it on a saturday afternoon. We ordered pizza uttapam and mysore masala dosa. Both the dishes were absolutely wonderful. Enjoyed both the dishes .
