Hotel prashant is near khopat in Thane. Very exciting place for lunch and dinners. We ordered achari and reshmi kebabs. Kebabs were very delicious. For main course we had murg musallam with butter naan. And finally we ordered chicken triple schzewan rice. Food is very delicious. Do try.
Great restaurant. Staff is so cooperative and so helpful. Kebab over was so tasty. On every special occasion we go here. Best food quality and quantity wise. Even rates are reasonable. Best hotel for both veg and non-vegetarian.

One of the oldest restaurant in thane. Located in thane charai. I will recommend chicken murg musallam 😋❤️it taste sooo good. Perfect flavor of spices. And the plain fried is just best.
Ordered hot and sour chicken soup, chicken spring roll and chicken chilly Milly kebab.. the soup is good.. the spring roll even more so.. but the highlight of the meal was kebab.. so soft and had a creamy texture.. enjoyed it..
I have been ordering food from this place for at least past 10 years. My favorites here have been tandoori chicken chicken lollipop their mixed schezwan rice and American chop suey. Overall the food is extremely good. Always love ordering from here.
I've been visiting this place since I was very young ...my grandpa too loved this place and our all time favourite was the butter chicken.i love the chicken tandoori too...if your around Charai and need a hefty meal visit this resto...but make sure youre really hungry cuz the portions are pretty large....oh yes and you must try Thier Chinese too...a bit spicy but love it.

Located near Charai Telephone Exchange, this place is a gem in disguise. Easily one of the best family restaurants in Thane. It has two sections : AC and Non AC. I visit this diner frequently and always sit in the AC section. It is spacious and can accommodate large parties as well. Ambience is amazing, Staff is welcoming. Now lets dive into my personal favourites:
Manchow soup: Simply delicious. If you are visiting this place for the first time and are puzzled which soup to order, I would suggest you to order this one.
For starters you can order Veg Chilly, Veg Crispy, Paneer Satay. In the non vegetarian department, you can try Chicken Crispy, Chicken Lollipop, Chicken crunchy (takes sometime to prepare).
Chicken Tandoori is a must try! The chinese cuisine here is a delight as well.
Main course here is generic. Every dish tastes the way it should, nothing stands out. Some suggestions would be: chicken makhanwala, tikka masala, murg mussalam, Paneer Achari Masala.
If you are looking for a place to visit with your family or friends, I strongly recommend Hotel Prashant. You are sure to have a good time ( With or without alcohol. Yes they serve drinks as well!)

Visited this place many times with friends. I love their tandoor items and sea food .. Classic chicken tikka, Pomfret tikka, Surmai tava fry.. Must try for non veg specialities..

Ordered butter Chicken and butter rotis for dinner from this place. Couldn't rate on ambience as i opted for home delivery. Delivery arrived on right time. Butter Chicken was tasty and the rotis were soft.

the food here is good and served at a reasonable rate. Recommended for indian food. expecially north indian food and also sea food. they have both AC and Non AC. AC section is more comfortable and spacious. the experience is good and we love visiting this place for indian starters and chicken food.
Visited this place for dinner with 6 friends and we tried Chicken lollipop, Chicken Maratha and Rotis.
Chicken lollipop was nice and crispy.
Chicken Maratha is a little sweet and the quantity is too good, more than enough for 6 people 😉.

It is the simplest restaurant you can find. It is not a themed restaurant. Nothing extravagant or gaudy. It is the most economic restaurant in the town which serves good quality delicious food. It serves a wide variety of starters, main cource and rice dishes to choose from. They also serve fishfood and Chinese but I would suggest you focus more on Indian food. The ambiance on the ground floor is not that good as there is always a rush of the waiters in it's narrow passages but it can be enjoyed on the first AC floor. The service here is very good. There is also a variety in vegeatrian dishes so vegans won't suffer here. The biryani served here are not like the regular biryanis with separate gravy and rice but are equally delicious.

1. Ambience and service- cozy, comfortable, pleasant (gets noisy on weekend nights) and service is quick.
2. Food- If you are craving sea food or charcoal grilled tandoori meat, this is your go-to place, The seafood here is quite fresh and all the tandoor dishes are juicy and succulent
TAWA MASALA PRAWNS, FISH KOLIWADA(pomfrer and prawns), CHIKEN CHILLY MILLY KEBAB, CHIKEN BANJARA KEBAB, CHIKEN LASOONI, CHIKEN BULLET are some of the highlights of this restro
In VEG they serve authentic PANEER TIKKA MASALA...PANEER AMRITSARI and the common fav VEG TIRANGA
The food here is quite balanced in terms of flavours especially the seafood is pungent, spicy, tangy and little sweet at the same time which literally tantalises our taste buds.
Dont go for desserts, they are not that great or simply fails to satisfy our sweet craving.

The one best hotel for bars and also for serving delicious sea food and other dishes . The only reason I order here is because they serve bhakri's not what diffrence yes difference is nothing but the true traditional taste like enjoying food on konkan seaface:).
I usually order more of non-veg food rather than veg but I find the veg is not good for eg I order veg handi usually it red in texture but they had green color so I mostlt avoid veg.for starters to biryanis the food is deleicious u will never ever get upseted by the nonveg they serve like the level goes no increasing type from starter to biryanis and so on . The ambience in ac room is well after renovation and the main point like it's a family restaurant and bar and in acroom they have bar . I have been a regular at Hotel Prashant for a long time now..so finally decided to review this awesome place.
The hotel is known for its Chicken dum biryani and all the non veg starters. The service is good and the place has a somewhat cozy feel. The renovated AC section is really good even for a nice family dinner. Moreover, the cost of food and booze is also pocket friendly.
I highly recommend Hotel Prashant and will definitely visit again.

It is best for it's non veg food for good pricing. It had undergone Renovation of A/C section recently, which provides good ambience. Chi. Tandoori is very good . My foodie group visits here frequently.

I had gone with 4 of my friends on 26.09.2014 thinking that it was a gamble if the food does not turns out to be perfect since it had 1 review in zomato.
There was a bit problem for the parking of 2 wheeler but somehow we managed it along the road side. We entered inside at 7pm it was really refreshing ambiance-air conditioned with decent interiors but not over exaggerated luxury.
Ordered the food mostly all tandoor items with drinks for 2 ppl . our food came 1 hour later as it was the time for the tandoor to get started.
Trust me, the food was awesome . tandoor item with natural flavours . no red colouring for the tandoori chicken. No extra unwanted spices.
I would suggest ppl if they do not want extra luxury which they pay for 2-3 hours just try the place for its food. Really Worth a dine.

The best family restaurant(Non-veg) in Thane city. When I say best, its w.r.t Food, hygiene & service.
The menu is great. Chinese, Tandoori, etc. items are awesome. Much affordable than other high class restos, in town.
Food:
1. Chinese: The starters are good. Chicken chilly, Lollypop(8 pieces :P), Chicken Schez. Fingers, all r my fav. Manchow Soup, my all time fav.
2. Tandoori: Try the Chilly Milly Kabab, its really good. The best of course, is Chic. Tandoori.
The maincourse is really good, my favorite being the Chicken Tawa, Chick. Rara & Chick. Lahori. along wid Kulcha or Garlic Naan(Lots of garlic :).
Service:
Service is really good. The waiters are quick. Visit their in lunchtime to get more quicker service :P
The Menu here is perfect and there are no changes in the price, & NO SERVICE TAX/VAT on food. :P
Note: They also have a bar which is on the 1st floor & ground floor is just eating, which is good for non-drinking families.
Visited yesterday (17-Jan'15) for a family dinner .. This time tried few new dishes..
Starting wide the regular masala papads..heavily loaded wid onion, tomatoes and sev. The next on d menu was Hunan chicken. Taste was good..u can say it looks like chilly chicken but diffrnt color(reddish) and nice flavor and quantity(9-10 pieces). Then we tried chilly Milly kabab, again very good taste and quantity (8 pieces). For main course we went for chicken kangda(half). This is a huge dish and half is enough for 4 ppl if u have had 2 starters. We had roti, kulcha and rice bhakri(nice nd soft). For rice we ordered veg fried rice nd jeera rice(awesome taste). All of this and d bill came to juz above1000. A very satisfying dinner for ur stomach and ur soul.. :)

Came here in March 2022.
The ambience was super cool. Interiors were old-styled but that doesn't matter. The service was good. The food was delicious. Waiters were keeping track of when your drink is finished and needed to refill it. The washroom was a bit uncleaned. Attached is the menu for drinks from the AC section.
Rest I will recommend visiting the place.
This restaurant has been open for many years and the service still remains impeccable. The food is really good and the seating is comfortable too. It has the perfect vibe for a family meal. I only wish they would add some south Indian items to their menu.
The taste of food, and atmosphere of restaurant is good as compare to other hotels. So I like to give 5/5 star rating.
And I like to recommend the Lung Fung soup at this hotel.
