Visited this place last week. Ambience is good. I order mutton thali and chicken masala. Everything tasted well. Hunter rassa was just delicious. Quantity was little less pieces of mutton and chicken was less. But overall spicy food
Authentic Tuljapuri cuisine. Don't mix that With kolhapuri though. There is quite a difference in both. The masala tends to be on the spicy side for most stuff. Do keep that in mind. Also, I would not recommend this for vegetarians.
The good part is the food taste and that rassa. We keep going to this place again and again, after discovering it by chance once. The Mutton and the chicken thali is what we have along with the Kheema. The taste has stayed consistent over the past 3 years that we frequent here. I would term this a bit esoteric and it is not for the usual butter chicken fans.
Yesterday i had gone to this place.Chicken masala was great taste & rice bhakri.
But we also ordered chicken biryani, we is fully waste of money.
Overall food was tasty
We visited the restaurant on a Sunday and had paneer bhurji, mutton gravy, hunter rassa, chicken sukka and mutton sukka with bhakris and chapaties and topped it up with steaming hot gulab jamuns. Excellent food. The owner is very friendly and makes recommendations. Good experience, but could do better in the following areas:
1. The food is spicy, a less spicy option would also help.
2. More choice for vegetarians on Sunday except just paneer preparations.
3. The terms are cash and Paytm. A credit card option would be just great.
Been here March 2014. If you want to satisfy your taste buds and want to have finger licking food then you must visit this place. We are thankful to owner and the team who made available food even after working hours over (almost closing shutter). Asked them about what they could serve us and they suggest us Mutton Masala in Non Veg and Methi (Fenugreek) Masala along with Chapati (Wheat Roti).
I was going to try Non Veg dish but, also tried Veg when recommended by parents which they were having. Mutton was delicious soft and tendered, not much spicy, balanced taste, perfectly cooked, juicy just have a bite and enjoy.
Methi masala also best option in Veg. They cooked Methi along with Groundnut chatni and some spices. Perfectly cooked, maintaining original a bit bitter flavour of Methi along with punch of Chatni though not excess spicy at all.
Though ambience is not great, space is bit cramped.
Overall experience is best. Though last customer at session service was prompt, hope it is the same till day

One of best maharatwada Authentic food both veg n nonvej especially maton Bhakri The vej is also too good zunka shevbhaji and more . Must say Tuljupuri has got lot of potentials as good taste matters
I'd rate this place a full 5, mainly for the authenticity. They get mutton from Kolhapur. Meat from hilly areas like Kolhapur is very gud. Plus the way they cook meat is just perfect for me. On top of that, authentic village style cooking. If u can relate to anything I've mentioned above, u need to try this place. Paya, mutton, chicken rassa...too gud.
If I was staying closer to this place I would have almost daily ordered spicy chicken with rassa from this place! It's a must try place for all those who love eating spicy chicken. People from Vidarbha side should visit it. My mouth is watering even while typing the review.
Very nice and tasty food. Tried mostly vegetarian dishes like Methi Fry/ Methi masala, Besan, Sev Masala, Bhakri, Thecha. Always fresh dishes are served. Friendly service.
Perfect for Maharashtrian veg and non veg thali. Right destination for Bhakari. It is popular for spicy Maharashtrian non veg dishes. Moderate prices.
This is a great place to taste authentic Tuljapuri food. A must try is mutton sukha and Chicken Sukha with a dash of the spicy Hunter Rassa. The veggies can try methinks fry and baingan masala with a hot bhakri if you like spicy stuff try the sev tomata it's awesome. A must try place for foodies, the ambience is very humble but the food is awesome. No car parking available, so please use an auto.
Lip smacking authentic maharashtrian food. The only place in the vicinity where you get the variety of dishes with Bhakri. Things not to miss green chilli techa along with the main course

Today I got a temptation to try Non-Veg, but in a pure Kolhapuri style or in Ghati Masala. Somewhere in the back of my mind i had this place stored. I have never tasted but always wanted to try.
My Order:
Chicken Masala
Steamed Rice
Roasted Papad
Lets look at the ratings.
Food Quality (4.5/5) Food Quantity (4.5/5) Food Presentation (3.5/5)
Chicken Masala, green in colour, gravy was prepared in pure Maharashtrain style with the usage of dried grated coconut and the ghati masala. Medium spiced and it was giving the right flavour of each ingredients. Cooked in less oil and medium to thick gravy can be eaten with Chapati, Bhakri or Plain steamed rice. Chicken pieces were soft to chew. Even being bone pieces,We do not have to put much efforts to get the real meat from the bones.
Next was big basmati grains cooked in plain simple manner with right amount of oil and salt used and we call it as steamed rice. I skipped bhakri this time and thought of experimenting thick gravy with rice. It came out to be an excellent combination. Quantity of rice was amazing as per the price.
Roasted papad was crisp as required, not too soft to be broken and not too hard to chew. Moderate and up to the mark.
Price (4.0/5)
This place has economical pricing. I paid Rs. 130/- for Chicken Masala. Rs. 50/- for Steam Rice and Rs/- 20 for 2 Roasted Papad. It served the quantity of at least for 2 people who can fill their tummies in those quantities and according to the price, taste and quantity relevance, i found it absolute value for money.
Ambiance (2.5/5)
If you are expecting this place to be great in terms of ambiance, then you are wrong. But surely you wont be disappointed because it covers all the basic amenities required along with the hygiene factors . Wide tables and comfortable chairs and a fresh rose vase kept on every table gives refreshing feeling. A/c was kept on a mild temperature that was soothing
It looks very raw and oldies kind of eatery from outside but its classy and basic looks inside wont give you a chance to complain. And as you step in you will smell the tempting aroma of local masala used for preparation and i am sure you will get carried away.
Service (4.0/5)
Service was good. I received my order on time. Mr Patne ( A Gentle and Polite person), the owner of the restaurant, was on the floor helping the guests with their orders knew the crux of customer service.
I felt good after having the meal and would defiantly go again to try Mutton Masala, Bhakri and Thecha (pure Maharashtrain spicy pickle).
