Great place to have your lunch or dinner with your family or friends .It's a go to place for me as its near to my place. The fav dish i like is paneer Angara, Paneer lajawab and paneer do pyaza.With this onw can go for cheese garlic naan or kulcha or butter naan. I had also tried dry Manchurian but it wasn't that great.I didn't even liked there chinese.If someone want's light food you can go for masala dosa and utaapa

It’s September but raining like July in full blast.
Yesterday we decided to have something spicy for dinner. With raining no actually pouring , nobody wanted to drive, so we decided to walk down to famous khau galli in panchpakhadi Thane.
Balaji has big menu but it is famous for pav bhaji.
Pav bhaji was introduced some 40 years back and over the years many variants were added like cheese, khada, dry fruit, machurian etc etc.
One full page of menu is devoted to pav bhaji variants but I always prefer just plain pav bhaji with little butter so as to enjoy real test of pav bhaji.
Balaji didn’t disappoint us on pav bhaji. Pav was superbly roasted with right amount butter and bhaji was just right spicy keeping the taste alive and not overpowering.
We also ordered ‘Bombay Pizza’
This pizza is totally different than Dominos, Pizza Hut or any other brand but very tasty.
It was very fulfilling experience on a rainy evening

This place is situated at khau galli, Panchpakhadi.
They have a great variety in their menu card. Punjabi, South Indian, Chinese etc.
Pav Bhaji, Dahi Vada, Mysore Dosa, Medu Vada, Lassi are few of the things I have tried till now and I'm satisfied with the taste and especially 'Price' considering the location.
For a one dish meal this place is really good and cost effective.

The thing about Balaji Food Court, they definitely fill you up for what its worth.
If you are looking for something budget friendly with a decent sitting-in area and good hygiene, Balaji is actually a really good choice.
Out of all fancy cuisines you see around Panch Pakhadi, Balaji can be your daal-khichadi rescue.
What we like here:
Daal Khichadi and Palak Khichadi (This is something we really like having here, no matter you have it in the restaurant or order it at home, it's just perfectly seasoned and always a month end choice)
Pav bhaji (at such rates you get generous serving of bhaji with butter smothered pavs)
What's Decent:
South Indian items (the sambhar is slightly sweet and the chutney can be really runny)Main course items are better to be had in the restaurant rather than at home. When we had ordered food here last time, the rotis because too tough to eat.

The food quality is very good. Services are also very nice. The price were little high of some foods but overall the place is worth it to visit and have meals.
They have quiet good quality food. I've tried their desi Chinese bhel for 160 RS it was good and quantity was also good. But i found the price slight too high but overall it was the best. Had a great time

a good lunch and snacks corner situtated in the best foodie place.. the place is good for family get togethers.. the dal khicdi here is good.the price is also good and average for common people to have food.the working people crowd is more here in the noons overall the food is good .. we also tried the tomato soup which was really amazing.

I happened to order Pav Bhaji and Chole Bhature from Balaji Food Court after hearing about it from my dad. The delivery came in a flash and the food had a very nice packaging. It was piping hot and a pleasant aroma filled the house, thanks to the food. The Pav bhaji had a thick consistency and just the right amount of spices infused in it. They had used a very little amount of butter, unlike most other Pav bhaji joints. It was delish and totally worth the money. The pavs were soft and fresh. Also, they had a sufficient amount of butter applied to them. Pav bhaji was clearly less oily as compared to other pav bhaji serving places. It came along with a side of lemon wedges and finely chopped onion. About the Chole Bhature, the bhature were soft and fluffy. Two pieces of bhature accompanied the chole. The chole was well cooked and tasted delicious. I was impressed by their quantity. Personally, I feel that the pav bhaji lacked the spice factor to some extent and can do better. The corn tikkis which I ordered the other day tasted pretty good but were extremely dry. This place surely gives you plenty of bang for your buck.

A good local place to go to for your Indian snack cravings! I love to visit this place for an unplanned early morning breakfast or in the evenings to meet my pav bhaji cravings or the occasional Dosa binge sessions. The service can be worked upon a little. The food is a 4/5.
I was here to have evening snacks with friends, noticed THE HARIYALI PAV BHAJI on the menu which sounded different, indeed it was very different and tasty just like the name it was green in colour.
A very good family restaurant. Must eat dishes: Pav bhaji, Paneer angara, paneer biryani. Service is also decent. Also have a special AC room which can be booked for partying purpose
Balaji food court was not in thehungerhormone's list, yet the aroma of the pav bhaji swept me(anna) towards it. Ordered Pav bhaji after a while.
Pav bhaji remained delicious, especially after a long period of time, where I used to literally feel bored of eating it. This one broke the boredom and made it a funfilled experience.
Well, i thought i should probably order for a Hariyali pav bhaji, yet all I had in my mind was aroma and a picture of regular pav bhaji. Will be visiting this place again soon.

Hello , Balaji is a pure veg outlet located in the heart of panchpakhadi. It has amazing variations of veg dishes, a nice ambience nland a cordial staff. Some very delicious dishes from here are mysore masala dosa, chole bature and aloo paratha.

Good experience.. Budget friendly place in good location. AC Seating recommend as Non AC area is right next to main road. It was not that busy and we got table in 5mins. We ordered:
Paneer Shanghai
Marinated Paneer pieces with veggies and mashed paneer. Decent taste. Good portion size for 3 people.
Cheese Paratha
Was ok ok. bit on a crispy side. and very thin. not worthy. Less Stuffing. You can get very good parathas at this price. Green Guru in Thane is good choice for Parathas.
Hariyali Pav Bhaji
Good in taste and quantity. One should try this. They should serve a good salad with Pav Bhaji like you get at stalls in Mulund's Market.
Tawa Pulav
Decent in Qty and Taste. There were lot of dry fruits in it. Also, not very heavy on stomach.
Over-all ok. VFM. Don't go with high expectations and you will not be disappointed.
I have never visited this place but I know where and how it is. I have ordered food couple of times from this place .Food is quite good and reasonable. I had ordered Schezuan Fried Rice.It was quite quantity was also more than sufficient for a single person.

I have ordered food for delivery from this place several times ,taste has always been good although delivery takes almost 45-55 minutes everytime ..this time i ordered triple schezwan fried rice which tasted good ..not a bad place to order for delivery once in a while
Never been here before and regret that! A relatively inexpensive and pocket friendly place in one of the finest areas of the city. The place is a little small with approx 8 tables in the open area and approx 4 in the AC Room. The service is prompt and the food is amazing.

Didn’t knew this place will turn out to be so awesome.. I thought of first having normal pav bhaji stuff by looking at the hotel. But the staff suggested me to have continental food. So just to give it a try I ordered nachos with beans and cheese.. n to my surprise it was really really super tasty n yummy. It was really good and the quantity was good too. Indeed a great place to hop on!!

But what an awesome place .. these guys serve great food lil on the oily side though , but VFM totally .. tried their Paneer tikka , mix veg , Palak paneer and all was super tasty .. the hygiene standards are also good , a nice place to have a pocket friendly meal with colleagues and friends .
I had been to this place on a Sunday night for dinner. The place was running full. The interiors are that of any normal typical fast food joint with both AC and non AC sections.
The service is quick and good.
Owing to already being full, I just tried idli and wada sambhar. The idli was steam hot and wada also properly crisp. It is served with two chutneys.
I loved it. No complains taste wise.
Another thing I tried was cheese masala dosa. Again tasted delicious.
Overall a quick stop shop for ur hungry tummy when u pass by or have cravings for south Indian food. ( As I tried just that)
Hello folks ! This cute little outlet is near to my home. I have ordered several times and the best thing about them they deliver without any minimum order limit. Recently I had been here after my hectic day. I needed something light and refreshing. So i ordered sada dosa and mosambi juice unflitered. The food was undoubtedly perfect. Crisp dosa freshly made orange juice was refreshing. Their sandwiches, parathas and mysore masala dosa are worth a try. The ambience is yellow lighted with AC and non AC options available. Had gone for dinner around 12 am with family... ordered 5 pav bhaji, and to my surprise in was one of the best pav bhaji I had in Mumbai...it was delicious.
I have also tried veg hakka noodle which was also very nice.

Very good place to eat fast food item. a/c non a/c tables are available. Very good service and prices are worth the taste. We ordered masala uttappa, cheese pav bhaji and pepper dosa. Sambar and chutney are so tasty and uttappa was very well made. Papper dosa was big enough to fulfill the hunger. Cheese pav bhaji was little bit spicy. Quite good place to visit.

A classic udipi restaurant in the middle of a the hip and happening khau galli of Thane. It has the old world charm with very basic yet fabulous menu.
Dosas, uttapam and all other food items are spot on. The pav bhaji always smelled good and we finally ordered home this time. Packaging was good and bhaji was nice and thick. The regular pav bhaji tasted fabulous. Would have it for dine in soon. For 100 bucks it was a total steal. Their special green pav bhaji disappointed though. Was less of pav bhaji and more of some palak vegetable.
A to go place for down to earth yet superbly delicious udipi and mumbaiya food. And it's super VFM too!

It lives up to its name Food Court by offering all variety under one roof. One of the best pav bhaji around & the serving portion is huge. Ordered Paneer Afghani, Paneer makhanwala and Veg Handi all looked, smelled and tasted different. Many places serve similar gravy with differ names. Was pleasantly surprised. Also received an offer on Swiggy where they gavel free Gulab Jamuns for new years. Pocket friendly place. Must try. Good food.
Small place but food is good and value for money. I am not sure about snacks & continental but I can recommend thier Panjabi dishes since I have tasted. Butter Rotis were soft and good.

I think this is nice place for south Indian food. They have AC and non-Ac section. AC section is comfortable than non AC section. Ambience is good but service was quite slow. We ordered onion uttapam, Mysore masala dosa and chilly cheese masala dosa. Sambhar and chutney was good. Good for quick bites.
Reasonable price, Great food, Friendly staff, you should try South Indian, can go with family as well as friends.. Definitely going next time ;)

I have only tried pav bhaji here and rating is based on that only. the pav bhaji here is delicious and a must try. I have no idea about other food items hence won't personally recommend it. But yes a pav bhaji lover must have this one on his list.
We have ordered here for the first time. Pav bhaji was ordered. It was a wonderful preparation, it had a wonderful taste, required spicy, not oily. After nine days of Navratri, wanted to enjoy kuch tikha and with onions ho Jaye and Enjoyed the same the fullest.

I always visit this place when I am in Panchpakhadi area. The food is very tasty and the service is quick.
Some of my favourites are Paneer Cheese Pizza, Pav Bhaji and Onion Rava Masala Dosa. The paneer in the pizza was soft and it's truly one of the best pizzas I have had!
