I had not ordered food from outside post covid .finally Ordered veg Biryani and Hyderabadi veg Biryani . It is just cooked right, tastes perfect and costs just right. Tasty and flavoursome !! That’s what comes to your mind when you think about Biryani from Garma Garam . Their flavours are developed in - house and they make use of special masala which is unique to their preparation they guarantee fastest delivery for their products while also ensuring there is no compromise in their quality It is the real layered biryani which is extremely difficult to find . This is my second experience with this restaurant, I was a bit dissapointed last time as I had ordered the same i.e Butter Chicken and Butter Naan but the gravy and naans were not up to the mark, But soon after that owner followed up with me and told me about some genuine reasons (lockdown issues) due to which that order was not satisfactory which I also considered. And owner is so kind hearted that he offered me to send the same dish again as a compensation in my next order. So two days later I ordered Chicken Tandoori and also received Butter Chicken as complimentary with the same.
And this time Butter Chicken tasted amazing, I can say these guys are the only restaurant in Thane providing some authentic Butter Chicken which is not Sweet. I just loved it even Chicken Tandoori was great, chicken was soft and tender also the mint chutney was Amazing. This restaurant is in my list whenever I will crave for Butter Chicken and Tandoori. I hope they maintain the same taste, quality and quantity. Kudos to the management too.

We had an amazing experience to enjoy nicely cooked fresh fish. It was extremely tasty and mouth watering. All this for really cheap price.
The food was extremely delicious and I really enjoyed my late night dinner. I would've given a 5 star review but I have a few complaints.
- Chicken Lollipop Masala Dry: 3/5. It was good but not exactly what I expected which is why I gave a 3. But maybe that's just my issue.
- Garlic Butter Naan: 5/5. You can't really go wrong here.
- Butter Chicken: 4/5. This one got me a little on the fence. It was amazing and truly one of the best butter chickens i've ever had. However, it lost a star as it was packed with SOOO much oil. It took me a while to dodge the oil. It tasted amazing and I generally don't have an issue with oil but I know people who do and your restaurant could lose some potential loyal customers because of this so please fix it ASAP.
The food is awesome in taste, quality and quantity. Timely delivery and very neat packing. Ordered for 31st party, everyone loved it and we could truly enjoy our time.
I visited this place. The place is good. They provide totally different type of Chinese. And also there are recipes loaded with the veggies. They prepare there sauce in house. Overall the food and the quality is good.

Garma Garam is a newly opened restaurant in Vasant Vihar serving a variety of seafood, north indian, and Chinese preparations. The owners, Prabha and Rahul, are very jolly and down-to-earth people who make sure you leave happy and satisfied. All of their dishes are made in ghee and butter, which is their USP. Say goodbye to calories as oil isn't used in any of the food items. Also, their in-house schezwan sauce is to die for! The service is a but slow as everything is made from scratch. They also serve non alcoholic beers from Cool berg and Budweiser. Moving on to what we tried over here,
Butter Garlic Prawns:- King prawns cooked in creamy butter garlic sauce and served with crunchy side salad. The prawns were fresh and juicy. Heads of the prawns were also given as an accompaniment, which were full of flavor. The heads were cooked separately in butter. This was prepared by Rahul himself for me and he also shared his secret recipe. (5/5 for both taste and quantity)
Chicken Hong Kong Noodles:- Mildly spicy hong Kong noodles with a tadka and topped off with a dried red chilli. Noodles were infused with tiny chicken chunks and the quality was also decent. (4.5/5)
Afghaani Murgh Tikka:- Tender chicken chunks marinated in a mixture of curd and spices, served piping hot on a sizzler plate. The tikka was accompanied by crisp salad. This preparation was loaded with flavors. Should try this one. Again, this was made by Rahul himself (4.8/5)
Butter Paneer:- Moderately spicy and buttery paneeer preparation, which you can either pair with a roti or with a naan. I had just a few teaspoons of this one. Loved having it after all that nonveg affair. (4.5/5)
Overall Verdict:- This is a must try place when you are in or around Vasant Vihar. They also organize various food festivals on every weekend. Do give them a try!

This seven month old outlet is giving Thane a new flavour with it's tandoori and chinese dishes. The resto is tiny, but serves such delectable food!
The owners Prabha and Rahul are extremely friendly and go out of their way to understand their customers. They believe that conversing with customers is what makes them stand out from the others.
The food here is prepared from fresh meat, even fish is purchased on a daily basis. The spices and masalas used are made in-house and are customizable. There is zero use of the famous Ajinomoto, salt is used sparingly too. Food is prepared in ghee and not oil like regular resto's. The portion size is so much more than what you would regularly get. At Garma Garam, they believe at providing quality and quantity at extremely affordable prices.
The wait time is a little long because everything is freshly prepared, nothing is pre cooked except for the Biryani. When you bite into your food, you'll enjoy tender, delicious meat that will have you craving for more.
We ordered a portion of Hunan Chicken- chicken mixed with vegetables in a savory and spicy sauce. The piping hot chicken is served in a sizzler plate that keeps it hotter for longer. I've had Hunan at quite a few places, but this one was a surprise. Along with the great flavour, the quantity of chicken in the portion was commendable! 3 people can easily feast on it.
Next we ordered Tandoori Prawns- This dish is called 'Tandoori Prawns' because it is cooked in a Tandoor, however the taste is very unique and a million times better than the usual.
The shrimps are well marinated in in-house masalas and flavoured with coconut. The outcome is tangy and spicy, and totally drool worthy! By far, this has to be the BEST prawns I've had!
You get 8 big prawns in a portion, top notch quality! Highly recommended!
For mains, we called for a portion of Butter Chicken with Butter Garlic Naan- this is a combination made in heavy and at Garma Garam, this dish is worth all the hype. I usually don't prefer Butter Chicken because it is on the sweeter side but this one was love! Loaded with chicken pieces given a nice spicy flavour with hints of sweetness and topped with fresh cream. The portion is more than enough for 3 people. Also, it's a must have item.
Last but not the least we called for a portion of Chicken Burnt Garlic Fried Rice- This is my go to food as it has all my favs- garlic, rice, veggies and chicken. Here, the burnt garlic rice is topped with fried garlic which enhances the flavour. The portion is served with in-house Schezwan sauce that tastes Indo-Chinese as it is initially sweet until it drops a fiery hot spice bomb on your taste buds! As I love spicy, I totally enjoyed every bit of this! I would recommend this one too.
We had a pleasant time here! Got a chance to meet the highly talented chef as well. Garma Garam hosts seafood weekends which offers seafood made in Malvani and Goan preparations. I can't wait to attend one!
From my interaction with the owners, I realised that they're food and cooking enthusiasts and want everyone to enjoy healthy and good quality meals. It takes alot to leave a highly paying corporate jobs to follow dreams that may not be very profitable but gives you a sense of pride and accomplishment at the end of the day.
Their story is inspiring and their passion for food real. I've not enjoyed such amazing food in Thane at such a reasonable cost.
I highly recommend this place to all non-veg lovers. Once you visit, you'll understand that Garma Garam is worth raving about.

We enjoyed an amazing meal begining with a soup, appetizers and dinner.
Soup:
Chicken Manchow soup - The soup was filled with lots of flavour. It had plenty of shredded chicken pieces in it which were boiled with the soup itself. Thus making the chicken blend in the manchow soup. It was served with fresh deep fried noodles.
Appetizers
Chicken lollipop masala - one of the must try items in the menu. The lollipops were one of a kind. They were huge in size and full of flavour.
Chicken lamba - A starter with a difference. It was a dish with both a mix of chicken and eggs
Paneer Butter Masala with Butter Naan - Another must try dish on the menu. The paneer butter masala was just awesome. It was not sweet like they normally serve in most restaurants. It had lots of flavour in it. The Butter Naan was of a different level. It was nice and soft and loaded with butter
Chicken Sherpa rice - fried rice served with schezwan chicken.

Started by two young mates called Rahul and Prabha, this place serves tasty amazing food at a very decent pricing.
We decided to order some food at our place. We were given thorough recommendations of what we can order and how it would be.

Long shreds of chicken pieces tossed in Bell peppers, onions and tomato and prepared in Schezuan sauce and soy sauce.
A perfect Chinese starter for all the Chinese lovers.
🔹Paneer Kalimiri Tikka(half portion):- 5/5
The Paneer was well marinated with pepper, curd and turmeric that it soaked well and it tasted soft and amazing.

Noodles tossed perfectly in sauteed veggies and with oregano, chilli flakes, it had a better taste.

This Biryani is prepared in Tawa , hot and spicy with a big leg piece of chicken. Should have been a bit low on flavour to make it perfect.

The only chinese dish we had here. I could probably say "The best Lungfung I have ever had". The egg white froth was something which you wont be able to resist. The soup really turns on your taste buds. If you are a spicy and egg lover, a definitely must try.

Taste is very good, fresh always...but had a bad experience in ordering vegetarian meal...though it was late at night when i placed the order... Actually the curd in the mushroom panner kadai was all cuddled and was tasting bitter...no refund or no exchange was done...just a simple explaination the chef's changed...that really bothered me...cause we are a regular customer...otherwise Murg Achari...Serpa rice chicken is what I would recommend...

Here is a place which is run by two highly passionate foodies (Rahul and Prabha), they know alot about food and for them their food quality and portion size is the main criteria. I was almost taken aback by the food quality and the way they were priced, this place is in amidst of many cafe/restaurants which serve all sort of food items (some good, some not so good). But I can guarantee you the food they serve is freshly prepared on order and you can request them to customize your dish as per your taste and spice requirement which is a plus. The property has simple ambience with not so flashy things around, so it's hardly noticeable but believe me it's a hidden gem serving some lipsmackingly good food both Indian and Chinese.

The paneer was soft and succulent, unlike the name of the dish the paneer wasn't too peppery. It went really well with the mint chutney and salad given with it, if you are a paneer lover this is the dish you should be looking for.
Chicken mughlai and garlic naan: 4.5/5 🌟🔥
Creamy, rich and extremely meaty gravy which goes perfectly well with the garlic naan. Loved this dish as it wasn't the typical mughlai based gravy which is too eggy and sweet, this was something different !
Chicken Singaporean Noodles: 5/5 🌟🔥
The type of noodles I was craving for since a very long time, they had a bite in them and I absolutely savoured the dish till the very last bite. Loved it, it went really well with their signature Szechwan sauce (prepared in house)
Mutton one pan Biryani: 4/5 🌟
Something new to look out for, extremely flavourful biryani with some nice chunks of mutton in it. The biryani was fragrant, meaty and not dry at all, the raita cuts out the richness really very well. A must try if you are a Biryani lover.
Overall it was a great experience, the food served here is one of a kind. I would recommend this place to you'll without the shadow of a doubt, they serve some bloody good Indian and Chinese food. The hosts are warm, friendly and know their food really very well, if you are confused and looking out for some suggestions they won't back down in helping you with that.

Visited this place last week located at lokpuram next to hot chips. The outlet is a small one but the food served here is yummilicious and would definately recommend to try out this place.

They serve Indian and Chinese cuisine primarily. The order may take some time but you get to have freshly made piping hot food which is much more important for a foodie. The folks handling the place are lovely hosts and are always helpful with their recommendations. Here's everything we tried -
Piri Piri Paneer
Soft Paneer Cubes that melt in your mouth, cooked in Piri Piri masala and served with an amazing mint chutney. Amazing and one for the spice lovers!
Garlic Paneer
Paneer cubes cooked in garlic chilli paste with fries onions all over. Best appetiser ever!
Chicken Schezwan Lollipop
Chicken lollipops cooked in their amazing in house Schezwan sauce and served on a sizzling hot plate. Highly recommended!
Hyderabadi Paneer
A creamy green curry having large paneer cubes. We tried this dish for the first time hence the tanginess of the curry was something new.
Lemon Chicken
A slightly citrus version of Chicken Curry, which is equally delicious. A treat to have with some butter naan.
Hyderabadi Biryani
Another highly recommended dish. Damn, they do know how to make a good biryani. The aroma, blend of spices and the tender chicken make a compelling package.
Final verdict: We had a hearty Indian lunch after a long time and big ups to the folks running the place not only for the delicious food but also amazing hospitality. Highly recommended!

Place is managed by Prabha and Rahul, Both are very friendly and helpful.
So this place started in May and they also take bulk orders for Biryanis, Lollipos and so on.
Coming to the Food:
We tried
1. Chicken Lollipops:
I personally like Chicken lollipops dipped in the gravy instead of fried ones and they were exactly how I like them. Very perfectly cooked and amazingly tasty.
They don't boil the chicken, They cook it while preparing hence the taste is different than usual.
2. Hunan Paneer:
I am not a fan of veg food personally But this place is going to change it all for me.
Paneer was cooked with veggies which was beautifully coming together and loved the texture and taste.
3. Chicken masala with butter naan:
It was very thick, Chicken was very well cooked. I never really like to have naans, but here they weren't hard they were exactly how they should be.
4. Hyderabadi Paneer:
This one was also very nice, My mom loved it. It had their special pudina chutney which was giving it a tint of pudina which was very pleasant.
5. Garlic Fried rice:
This one was very simple, very light and perfect but not to forget the highlight which was Schezwan Chutney which was specially curated by their Chinese chef. Best schezwan Chutney I had till date. Must Must try this one.
Talking about the cost, they serve the best quality of food at very normal cost, not at all heavy to the pocket.
They also serve seafood which I would really like to try ! :P
My mother also really enjoyed the food and the service.
We had a good conversation where Prabha and Rahul explained what all thing they serve and how uniquely they are made.
I really Appreciate Prabha for inviting me and letting me try such amazing food.

Good food at amazing prices and fabulous quantities. The corn rocks were just superb to start the meal. Followed by the most amazing tandoori chicken. The hot and sour soup was perfect for the Rainy day and so was the egg white soup relished by my friend. The jumbo prawns were nice and fresh and the veg Hyderabadi biryani is a must must try here. A must visit, and the personal service by the owner was much appreciated!
I had the best food here in thane iam from Hyderabad but loved the biryani here it is like is hyd biryani you people must try chicken pekking rice

For all type of chicken starters always preferable because they serve best chicken starters and with good quantity

Visited Garma Garam at Vasant Vihar, Thane today. The place is run by Prabha and Rahul, who attend to you personally and make you feel at home.
Tried the Sichuan momos and the Garlic Chicken for starters and the Mutton masala, Veg biryani and Chicken biryani for the main course.
The food is super yummy!! Good quality and quantity at awesome price! Real value for money.

It is a quaint place run by Prabha and her partner . It almost feels like home with the warm hosts , beautiful ambience and extremely extremely yummy food . We ordered a manchow soup, veg chilly momos to start with and then moved to Indian food with veg Kolhapuri and rotis. It’s very rare that one finds both Indian and Chinese cuisine cooked to perfection under one roof ... and Garma Garam is one such place. A must visit for people who love good food !!!
Run by Prabha and her partner. The place is very homely, food is excellent particularly the Chinese cuisine. We had butter chicken as well which was nicely done... definately a visit if you are around Vasant vihar or even bypassing ghodbunder road (just a 2 min detour from the road)
