Pleasant, soothing ambience, clean and delicious food
Was a convenient stop near Thiruvalla for breakfast. Was tough to find a table, but they had a waiting area. Food was served in reasonable time. The tea was good, though I really didn't find the puttu that great. It was okayish at best, had lost a bit of steam. They should try to serve warm stuff, and there maybe a chance that crowd management is affecting their efforts towards that factor. Parking is limited and hence therefore a tough act to pull off. They also have a lot of food products (dough and batter) sales over the counter.
I recently dined at Avees Puttu House, and their diverse selection of 'puttu' dishes was truly a highlight. The quality and flavors of the puttu were impressive and left me satisfied. However, my friends ventured into trying other items on the menu, and while they found them to be decent, it didn't quite match the excellence of the puttu. On the plus side, the restaurant's interior decor was tastefully done, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. Overall, if you're a fan of puttu, this place is worth a visit for that alone, though other dishes might be hit or miss.
Located Thiruvalla Changanassery road. ( Perumthurutthy place name ) Very good service, clean and hygienic place, good atmosphere. Tasty food specially Appam Egg curry. Large parking area.
Pretty decent place for casual eating. Their fish curry meals are good. The anchovy fry is good.
Great stop for authentic central travancore cuisine.

Loved this place. An all time favorite!! Super strong tea that can take away any tiredness and make you fresh. All their dishes were good, Appam, Idiyappam, Duck Mappas, chilly chicken dry, afternoon meals, and biryani (with pineapple pieces) I like!!!

Avees is our go to if we are on MC Road! We started going there since when they were located in the Alapuzha-Changanachery bye pass. They’ve always delivered consistent, delicious, local food! Tastefully decorated with Kuttanadan life like appam and duck roast. We got there at an after lunch time so missed out on the duck mappas. The naadan kaapi hit the spot! Fantastic Non-Veg meals, as well as unique dishes which we had the previous visit a year ago. The Kozhuva fry was crispy but most inside. Will be back the next time we visit
Avees has grown from the first branch to one each in Tiruvalla and Alleppey . Taste authentic for Kerala food, especially the meals and sides like duck mappas and beef curry . Haven’t tasted the Biriyani yet
I love this place. I went there thrice in the last 3 weeks and tried many things in their menu. I loved the prawns masala, duck mapas, fish fry, fish pollichathu, puttu, appam, Porotta and of course the full meals. I love the taste and also the preparation. It has two levels of seating and also has some parking options in front of the hotel. Its on the main road and you can't miss. The staff is friendly and it also sell essential food masalas and spices. Buy it if you want to make your cooking super tasty.

Really tasty south Indian dishes served fast with decent portions. The Parrotta was soft and flaky, with just the right about of pull. We had the Duck curry, fish curry, karimeen dry fry, small bait fish fry. The fresh fruit juices were tasty and had the right balance of sweetness.
The set up and decor is elegant and simple with really tasteful wall art. I probably should have taken a few pics of the food rather than the restaurant itself :)
