One of the best budget open dining experiences in Thiruvananthapuram. The seating arrangements were simple and unique.
The food is relatively cheap but still filling. They have a good selection of addons and other such unique items.
The customer service is excellent too. The place attracts a trendy crowd from evening but the opening hours are calm and quiet. Adequate parking space is an added bonus too.
Update: -1 :Their quality has deteriorated over the years with the change in chef but they still do a good job with it.
Recommendation: Stinger Burger(All their burgers are good), Cookie in a cup, x fries (and all the other varieties of fries)
Back to 1976 after a long long time. The food is great and the has good ambience. Peaceful place to have a discussion with friends.
Tried the Sunshine Burger, and C3 burger. Was a bit surprised at the price initially, but the quantity was good. On the downside what I felt is, some areas of the restaurant was not properly lit, like near the washroom area. Could be because, we were the loan customers at the time. Parking shouldn't be a problem here.
The place serves authentic burger. The food that most excited me was the Lord of the Fries. No name board at roadside. Outdoor dining , have to fend off Mosquitoes. Very good staff. Card payments are accepted.

The vibe this place gives off is too good!! Loved the elegance of the space, the mouth watering goodies and the service. Just simply laudable and praiseworthy. The first experience itself makes you want to come back again and again. A quiet little place in the heart of the city; where you can rethink and just chill.
One of my favorite places . Nice outdoor ambience , friendly staff , good food . Their burgers was always my favorite called juicy lucy . Recently the menu is upgraded . Its in the heart of the city so good meeting point . They also have a good collection of old english songs and that is a plus too .
One of best in tvm to get burgers. They have recently moved their location to top of The Capital hotel. Now more spacious and better ambience plus the good view from top. Service is quiet casual in nature and I guess they intend the place to be more of a hangout for friends and less a traditional restaurant model. Overall really good place..
One of the best places in trivandrum for burgers. Great ambience, but the only downside for their set up is that its set outdoors, which is great in the evening but isn’t adequate for a hot summer afternoon or a rainy day.
As for food it is great. Nice juicy burgers. I think they should include more desserts and drinks in the menu, however whatever they serve is very good.
Must try their double patty king kong beef burger or the juicy lucy burger. For dessert , their Holy Grail is pretty awesome. It is fried chocolate with ice cream.

Have heard of this place a lot through talks and hence decided to visit this place to spend an evening and boy o boy did it not disappoint! At first, extra brownie points for the wonderful vibes and ambience associated with this place. The place is cleverly situated a bit away from the mainstream crowd of trivandrum streets however the same can be accessed with ease. The menu is fairly priced and offers a wide array of dishes from pasta, burgers, shakes, fries, mocktails, juices, chillers, desserts. I had tried the loaded fries and the watermelon lemonade ( I guess that's what it is called). I had got the noodle burger for main course and it surely was the highlight. From the bun having the perfect crunch to the delicious patty, everything about this dish was something new. It is indeed worth a mention and is a must try if you ought to visit this place. We had also ordered the sliders however the quantity was too less for the price quoted. Overall the food was tasty and this place surely offered me a wonderful evening. It is a to go place if you ought to spend a wonderful evening out with friends and to try out some quality food. The place also has ample seating and has parking facilities too. Will definitely come back to this place.😍
Affordable juicy burgers. This is not your regular Patty and bun. My recommendation to anyone going to 1976 is Juicy Lucy and Po's Secret ingredient burger (the jucy Lucy but it's got noodle bun replacing the actual bun). Juicy cheese burger that can be doubled or tripled in cheese and burger patties. Have been my favorite for the last 2-3 years. Will go again and always with friends and family .
Update as of April 16:
1. we had an infinity burger today. If you are a meat lover, this 100 gm pure beef ground meat burger will take you to a new level of meat ecstasy!
2. Had a dessert called the Dream catcher! Rich icecream with batter-fried unniyappam style Choco cookie in the middle "dreams" Yummmmmy!! Be careful not to overdose....addictive! Must order when with friends!
Nice Ambience and tasty burgers. Small place but a must visit. Only western food like burgers,hot dogs, shakes and all.
Great place for group hangouts!! Ambience is good and the food is really tasty as well! Food takes long to arrive but its worth the wait. Drinks are really good and the desert options are good as well!
Good place to relax . Hardly much crowd. Great food. You got lot of seating place . I guess it's good for party or large function. Complete outdoor area. . I hope it's a temporary settings.
This place is quite interesting in comparison to other Cafe Bistros. With open space foodin area , natural lighting and ventilated space

The burgers and X fries are a must try. Great ambience with a few artefacts of times gone by. The seating is mostly couches instead of the usual wooden chair. This gives a casual vibe. The place is nice to hit with a couple of friends to chill. The waiting time is around 20 - 30 minutes so you should be early. Recently the menu has been changed and wouldn't recommend any of the outside the bun options. Overall a good place to hangout but slightly expensive.
