Went there couple of times, awesome experience, great hospitality, would recommend for family
Fish curry was authentic feels homemade.
Ambiance, service of international standards
The desserts were really mouth watering and amazing! The presentation was elite. And the staff behavior was really humble and friendly. He went out of his way to help us get the perfect starter.
Great restaurant in Trivandrum for a meal. Lovely ambience and the quality of food is good. Quality is similar to its other branches in Kerala. The pricing is above average compared to other similar restaurants in Trivandrum .During peak hours parking is bit difficult. But Overall a nice place for a meal with family in Trivandrum
First of all, I should appreciate the parking space and location of this restaurant. This place is well lit and table spacing is in such a way that you won't feel congested even if its full house. Unfortunately, we reached this place a lil late at night and we have to order whichever dish was available. Still, the quantity was sufficient enough for a large crowd. Paragon is usually famous for their Mutton Biriyani and they never miss to leave you in awe. Ghee rice and Mutton fry is just amazing and the parottas are crispy as hell. Prices are slightly high but totally worth for the quality and quantity they offer. Definitely coming back again. Kudos guys!!
Great food. Ambience is good. Only thing with the hotel is the parking at peak times. Be sure you are there atleast half an hour in advance or you'll have to park outside
Tasty and never disappoints. Must try include the biryani, the mango fish curry and the parrota. Stay away from anything that is not mallu and you have a winner on your hands.be prepared to be stuffed and satiated after this meals
Wanted to go grab a quick lunch after jumuah.. I had been to the calicut branch many times.. I was pleasantly surprised to see the restaraunt pop up on zomato..
The biryani was bliss..the paragon biryani lived up to the fleeting memory I had of the biryani...
The pudding was bland.. Not at all elaneer like! The only part that tasted like coconut was the scrape of the coconut on the top.. Disappointed.
A must visit restaurant if you're in Trivandrum. Food is awesome there, if you're a tourist and want some good food...paragon is the right place. Soup to dessert every item is very well balanced. Sea food coriander soup is a highlight though. And ofc Malabar biryani, mildly sweet and shouldn't be compared with Hyderabadii biryani in taste profile. A very good place to be at.
Perhaps the best in Trivandrum, the restaurant serves very good vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. It has ample parking space and that is one good advantage over many other restaurants. Service and ambience is also nice. Quality of the food is also admirable. Veg.Pulav and dragon paneer is one good combo worth trying.
They add one more to their account. This new outlet opened at Kesavadasapuram is a must visit. With amble parking and awesome ambience.
Their service is commendable as in their other branches. With huge seating capacity and equally apt kitchen they serve hundreds at a time.
What matters is the food. The quality and taste. As the name says paragon is worth having wherever the place may be.
I had mixed and chicken fried rice, schezwan noodles, koonthal coconut fry and chilly chicken. The koonthal fry was my favorite, i still have the flavour of it which i had from their first outlet in calicut.
So trivandrumkar head to paragon to taste some of the best delicacies in town...!!!
The food at Paragon is an absolute delight. Go try their famous biriyani, but also try their mango fish curry - it is lip smacking.
Dry Chicken which was the day's special was delicious - could replace your choice of starters any day.
Ditch your cliche choice of desserts, and try the Chatta Mary Pudding which will take your pallette down a road of naadan sweet tastes like jaggery and banana along with a semiya pudding.
Totally worth waiting for an hour if you have to because the food is amazing.
I absolutely love this place! Each time I go, without fail, I have mango vegetable curry, appam and elaneer payasam. It's an obvious paradise for fish lovers.
Food is tasty and delicious. Especially the mutton biriyani.
Service is good and welcoming. The lava cake is worth mentioning it's hot and yummy. Kindly visit when in Trivandrum. Thank you.
My favorite place to have my breakfast. When I'm in Trivandrum, I will go to Paragon for my breakfast! Tried the lunch, their Biriyani is good. Especially Dates pickle.
Nice food Experience!
Ambience -5/5
Staff -4/5
Value for money -4/5
Food quality & taste-5/5
Chilly butter corn kennels - good
Chicken lollipop- excellent
Appam & chicken stew- very good
Biryani - very good
Ghee rice - good
Butter chicken - good, expensive
Many more interesting items on the menu that we'd like to try. Will definitely visit again.
Paragon brings the Kozhikode taste to the capital city. Their biriyani is the best. I have visited twice. Food is authentic and yummy. Desserts are a good try.
The sadhya with so many koot and curry are delicious, they provided with two fish curries. Biriyani was good but compared to calicut paragon average. The dessert was the life saver for the day. Delicious and the aroma of cocoa made it irresistible. Mango juice was good. Overall good but not the best in tvm. Overall rating 3.9/5
Paracon chain is here in TVM, Kesavadasapuram now. Tried their dishes last day and did impress as always with their other hotels. Kunji kozhi fry was very nice. Balti ka ghost was good, Beef roast ,mutton chops and porotta were ok.
It’s a bit costly but you will not regret.
Plenty of seating available but on weekends, we will need to wait for our turn. There are enough parking space available.
Explored this new restaurant at Trivandrum during my last visit to Kerala.
One of the best options to try authentic Mallu food. Price is a bit high compared to the other restaurants. We loved the food - Especially the biriyani and prawn fry.
Their veg and non veg meals was also very good. Salad options are excellent.
Deserts are not as impressive as shown in the menu.
French onion soup was a let down.
Have been waiting to visit the famous paragon restaurant for a long time. As I was enroute to Bangalore from Trivandrum had a quick visit to paragon in the short time I had. Tried their Paragon Sharbat which was very refreshing . Had Pandan chicken (marinated chicken wrapped in a leaf and baked)for starters which was well done and very tasty. Had their special fish biriyani for mains which was amazing. Biriyani was very gently spiced but very flavourful.Full marks to Paragon team😊
The kerala food heaven is finally here in our capital city. The biriyanis being their speciality didn't fail to impress us. Their karimeen was really fresh and well made that is surely going to lure us in again. The paneer butter masala was also really good. The pineapple, watermelon and the lime juices were really fresh and made according to our likes with no ice and no sugar. The decor and ambience are so pleasing to ones eyes. This is definitely one of our much recommended and favourites in Trivandrum now.
Good ambience. Kanthari Fish is definitely a try. Also try the Arabian Kebab platter. It was slightly expensive but a definite must try item. Chicken Biriyani was not up to expectations but would rate it 3.5/5. Also try the caramel pudding. It was amazing. The parotta and beef roast was excellent. And finally round it all up with a lemon tea which was excellent
I have been in calicut for 5 years and only thing i used to miss after i came back tvm was their paragon biryani... well i am the happiest that they have brought paragon to tvm
Must have their
Chicken biryani
Crab meat soup
Chicken fry
Allepey fish curry
A must go place located at the center of the city
Must try items:
Balti Mutton with kerala parata,
Grill Fish,
Small Prawns fry
Ambience : 4/5
Value for money: 4/5

Loved the food here. Finally some authentic north Indian cuisine. . Do try chicken tikka gravy and paneer burjhi with spinach. Its value for money. . Will be visiting this place often now.
The place is one of the best places I've been here in Trivandrum. Service is great, ambience is great. The food is good but again North Indian cuisines are not great. Affordable prices. Tender coconut pudding is a must try.
Paragon has always been my go to restaurant whether I’m in Kozhikode , Kochi or Trivandrum as they serve excellent quality food in the finest possible ways. Recently visited their newly opened Trivandrum outlet to try out some amazing dishes. Started off with raw mango salad - which is a salad consisting of pickled raw mangoes and carrots which is spicy and Paragon’s sarbath , a drink which has grape pulp mixed with nannari syrup and cuscus. For main course we ordered - Chilly fish with their flaky and crispy wheat parotta , Schezwan fried rice, Chilly garlic noodles and mutton biriyani! All were exceptional but i would say chilly fish was the best.Still cant get over it’s sauciness! The dessert ,however ,was the best part of the meal ! Neypayasam with icecream ! Yes, you heard that right! How desserts make you go WOW ! This traditional dessert with a twist is a total stunner ! Our very own thick and hot neypayasam which is a mix of broken rice, generous amount of ghee and jaggery is served with a dollop of vanilla ice cream taking this traditional dessert to a whole new level! It’s definitely a must try if you’re visiting Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram outlets of @calicutparagon !

This place is an absolute delight. The menu consists of some amazing, lip smacking items. The prawns mango curry with ghee rice is a must-try. They have some good items in mutton which is made in Kerala style with parotha. The fish starter was not very impressive but everything else made up for it. Their desserts are unusual and again a must-try. Payasam with ice cream was a very different combination.
The prices are reasonable. We were 3 of us and had a total bill of 1200 only! Place is decent and clean, staff is polite. The food is a heart-winner!!
Really authentic Kerala food. The prawns really stood out, too good! Desserts were really moist. All in all a great place to have food. Nice ambience and great staff!
This restaurant has great food from northern kerala . We tried the fish curry which was awesome . The biriyani was good too . Service and ambience was nice . It is usually very crowded during weekends so try to go on a weekday . Lot of parking space if going on a weekday . Price is on higher side but really good food . Best place to give a treat to family and friends .
Has heard a lot about paragon calicut and always wanted to taste their food . So after a long wait we taught of going to paragon . Went we went rush was there but we taught of waithng and within 10 minutes we got our seats . Ambience and all was very good . We went there to eat mutton biriyani but unluckily it was over. So we had to order ghee rice, came out well. We orderd tawa fish fry and prawns . Both were excellent . End we ordered their special juice and passion fruit juice .both were excellent .overall a wonderful dinner 😊❤️
I chose Paragon as a location for a dinner get together for a small group of friends (after nearly 15 years).
The best thing I liked about this place is the availability of parking. They have space for at least 40 vehicles not including two wheeler parking. The ambience is also very good, perfect for families and small get togethers. The food is also tasty and the hosts were very friendly and supportive.
The only downside is that is place tends to get very congested in the evenings after 8.30 pm. It may get difficult to move around from the parking space to outside the compound during peak hours.
I visited them restaurant on working day, reaching there a little earlier than 12:30. The first thing you notice here is the abundant parking space and the rather oppulant decor. Point to note the crowd doesn't pick up before 1.
The menu offered was a good mixtures of traditional Kerala style cuisine that paragon is famous for and a few arabic and French inspired renditions.
I opted for a French soup to get things started, not just for the three fact that it was delivered inside a crusted bread that was hollowed out (quite unique). Followed it up with the kerala chicken and mutton biryanis. Along with chicken 65 on the side. The French soup was great and quite hot. Both the biryanis were good, but I have had better (in their own Kozhikode branch to say the least). But the chicken 65 was outstanding, with slightly roasted coconut and with its uniquely malabari aroma was mesmerising.
That gives a the food a solid 4 out of 5. This is easily one of of the finest restaurant in Trivandrum today.
Moving on to service and ambience, they receive a 3 each . They were good but nothing outstanding.
The location is a 2.5 considering its quite a distance away from the city center. At least for the old guards like me.
One of the best restaurants in trivandrum. No need for any second thoughts, just go and enjoy the yummy food. Excellent quality, reasonable price and good ambience.
Good place to have good food.went here with family and had an amazing time with tasty food and delightful dessert. ChattaMary’s pudding was a big hit 🤟🏼 will surely visit again
We ended up taking a parcel as the wait time to get a seat was too much. I don't remember the name of the chicken curry we ordered, bit boy was it good. I just remember it had a coconut milk base. Ended up being so good that friend who despices coconut ended up licking her fingers.
Paragon is one of the fine dines in town and would be my first port of call to have a quite filling meal. This is a gem of a place serving Kerala food with complete authenticity. Been there a couple of times and always had to wait to get a table.
This restaurant has it all, from the food to the ambience to the hospitality, everything was spot on.
Highly recommended!
We went there on a Friday afternoon the place was crowded but we got our table very soon .loved the food there especially The TRIBAL BEEF which was the special dish of the day. The ambiance is pretty descent. Altogether a good place ,a must visit
The Calicut Paragon - its a common name among the foodies in the state and at last the outlet was started in the Capital City. I have been to here a couple of times. Its located in one of the prime locations of the city. There is ample seating facility, but still its crowded almost all the time. The parking area is decent, but not enough. There is usually a waiting time and they didn't take any reservations
First time I went with a bunch of friends, close to 15, for lunch. We had to wait for about 30 minutes to get a seat. We tried a variety of items here from Soup to Dessert. The French Chicken soup was not great. Fathima's farm house chicken soup was good. In starters we had tried Pandan Chicken and Chicken Tikka. Both were good. The main course, we ordered a mix of different things. 2 of us ordered Kerala Meals and the Mango Fish Curry. The mango fish curry was superb. Chatta Mary's pudding and Hot Lava Cake with icecream were good. The milk shakes and the mocktails were also good.
The second time I went with my family. We reached around 10 in the night on a weekday and almost all tables were occupied. We orderd Paneer Tikka, Beef Ularthiyath, Achayan's Chicken Curry, Appam, Porrota, Puttu, Mixed Veg Pulavu. We were having a doubt between Kozhi Kurumulakitath (Pepper Chicken) and Ginger Chicken. The guy who was taking pur order suggested to go with Ginger Chicken, which turned out to be a disater. It was more of a Tangy Tomato taste. For desserts we had Lava Cake with Ice Cream and Ilaneer (Tender Coconut) Payasam Chilled. Both were good.
The Ambience is good. Service pretty decent.
On a brief visit to trivandrum and search for a good joint made us to go to this joint. The joint is actually kinda legendary with multiple branches in kerala , Dubai and sharjah..Though a weekday ,this place was crowded, Ambience is warm and welcoming.
We ordered mutton varattiyathu, kozhi kurumulakur, chicken biryani, pepper grilled paneer, traditional french chicken soup with appam & chapati and chatta marys pudding. Food is good.service is polite and courteous.
Huge restaurant ,with ample parking and staff to assist at the entry
Great ambience ,large waiting area and large number of covers
The seating was comfortable and chick
The waiting staff were polite and friendly
They have an extensive menu as also set meal options
Orders were executed in quick time though it was a Sunday night and packed
The presentation was good as also the portion sizes
Ordered a few chicken ,beef and mutton dishes and found them all well prepared and not to spicy unlike most Tvm restaurants .
All in all a surprisingly pleasant experience in Trivandrum and yes Paragon matches their standards of Dubai .
I had a good experience at this restaurant. There was waiting for 20 mins as we arrived, but since we were two people, we got in early. Ambience and decor was great. Nothing like in Trivandrum. They serve a lot of dishes, mostly non vegetarian. For vegetarians options were limited, but we ended up ordering- crispy corn, paneer makhni, dal and cream of mushroom soup.
Everything was good but of course not excellent.
I guess non vegetarians would enjoy this place better.
Service was okay. I may visit again. As it is close to my place.
Excellent place to dine. Food, ambience and service offered is of good standard. Prices are on the higher end, but one won't get disappointed considering the experience they offer.
Paragon Hotel has truly lived up to its name, offering an exquisite gastronomic experience that leaves guests in awe. My recent visit to this culinary haven was nothing short of spectacular, and I am excited to share my delightful experience with you.
As I stepped into the welcoming ambiance of Paragon Hotel, I was immediately greeted by the aroma of mouthwatering spices, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. I wasted no time in ordering their signature dish, the Biriyani which came highly recommended by both the staff and fellow patrons.
The moment the Biriyani was placed before me, I was captivated by the beautiful presentation. The fragrant basmati rice adorned with tender chunks of succulent meat and aromatic spices was a sight to behold. The first spoonful was enough to transport me to a world of flavors, and I couldn't help but savor each bite. The meat was cooked to perfection, retaining its juiciness and melding wonderfully with the rice, infused with the magical blend of spices. It was evident that the chef's expertise and passion for culinary excellence shone through in every aspect of this dish.
To complement the Biriyani. I ordered a side of chappathi, and it was the ideal accompaniment. The soft, pillowy flatbread complemented the biriyani flawlessly, allowing me to savor every morsel without overshadowing the main dish. The chappathi's texture and taste were on point, making it evident that the kitchen takes immense pride in preparing every element of the meal with precision.
To quench my thirst, I opted for a refreshing glass of lime juice. Served chilled with a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, it was a refreshing contrast to the rich flavors of the biriyani, enhancing the overall dining experience.
What sets Paragon Hotel apart is not just the exceptional quality of their food but also their impeccable service. The staff was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making helpful suggestions that elevated my dining experience. Their passion for hospitality was evident throughout my visit, making me feel like a valued guest.
In conclusion, my dining experience at Paragon Hotel was nothing short of remarkable. The Biriyani with chappathi and lime juice was a symphony of flavors that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend Paragon Hotel to anyone seeking a truly memorable culinary journey. Whether you are a biriyani enthusiast or simply a food lover, this establishment is a must-visit for its delicious food and warm hospitality.
The food was super delicious, this is one of the best restaurant that deliver great food in trivandrum, best chicken 65 i ever had, honey cake with ice cream was one of the best among them and their service was good. Restaurant looks so spacious but need to wait for 10-20 mins, also they have large parking space too. They keep the place very neat and clean.
I reached the restaurant area with my family around 10 PM, we wait more than 10 minutes in main road due to shortage of parking spaces. After parking we wait under 20 min for getting the dine in. Foods items are very dainty, paragon hotel maintaining felicitous hygiene and victuals quality. The staff comportment are authentically good. However, most of the evening times there is a chance of immensely colossal rush in this hotel.
Ordered a Sadya from Paragon during Onam week. The quality food and packing was very impressive. They were well organised as well in terms of how they managed booking, delivery and parking etc. Would definitely recommend for Dine in/ Takeaway / Delivery.
Chicken biriyani was good. Also tried elaneer pudding and hot bread with butter pudding. Both were great! 👌
Great place. Well maintained, good service and nice atmosphere. 👍
Didn't find it very expensive.
For two ppl we paid around 1.4k 10/23
Tawa Fish Avoli, Meat Ularthiyathu, meals
The food is super delicious. We had to wait for over an hour but it was worth the wait . We had a couple of dishes from the starter to the dessert everything was just absolutely delicious. The cauliflower dynamite is a must try and the deserts too. Mango fish curry and the Malabar biriyani was yum. All in all it was wonderful experience
Looks very spacious and offers comfortable seating. Clean and hygienic.Reasonably clean rest rooms. Food has variety mainly for non-vegetarians. Tasty food, presented well. Excellent service and courteous behavior. Overall, you get your money's worth.
My recent visit has slightly dimmed my view. The soup was just ordinary. The pepper sachet provided hardly tasted any pepper. But the manager immediately brought pepper from the kitchen and it made a huge difference. Service is excellent. Rest rooms could be cleaner.
Superb food and very good service. The person who served unfortunately he didn't say his name was very professional and smiling and made as feel at ease and helped in suggestions also. Unfortunately we couldn't try the desserts as we were already full with all the food and juices
Seating is on first come first serve basis. The restaurant is always full. It's better to come early between 12:30 to 1:00pm. Food is the main USP. It's simply fabulous. I highly recommend Chili Chicken as starter and Chicken Biriyani as Main Course.
