The food was really tasty and yummy at a much affordable rate. A great place to try nadan food items. The taste of homely made food. Portion size is also good. But the one thing that literally hits the face when walked into the restaurant is the smell. And this is for me personally, because I have a very delicate nose. The food was brought in without much delay. Easy to get the attention of the staff if needed. A lot of variety for non veg eaters. If you are a meat enthusiast, this is a must try place.
We ordered a mixed chattichoru which had a lot of veg curry , fish curry, fish fry , omelette , beef curry , pappadam etc..
And I have to say that all the items were really so stunning.❤️
I tried out kappa biriyani, it was awesome. The content is so much. One is enough for two people. It is only 175(technically 87 for each). There is also lots of seafood for low price.
There is an issue of space . If you're going out with friends you might have to wait a bit for sitting together. Parking can also be an issue .
The service was good.

Nice hotel, good food available and very kind staff...
A friend suggested the hot kanji when I was sick and it felt like the best meal I had in the longest time. The kanji came with 5 or more different side dishes, all of which felt truly like a very yummy home cooked meal. It made me feel so much better. Highly suggest the meal on a day you feel sick and crave a homely meal.
If anyone want to have rice as dinner go here...nice place..but quantity of food sometimes felt less especially side dishes
This is a small eatery longer than wide. The thing about this pot is the great taste of their food. The steam pot serves both vegetarian and non vegetarian food.
Puttu and kadala is great. So is rice porridge called kanji. Pazhamkanji is fermented kanji and tasted good.
Non vegetarian food goes all the way from simple egg dishes to meat items.
Steampot is neat and clean. You can see the food being prepared in the kitchen.
Prices are quite reasonable.
Parking has to be on the road which happens to be busy.
Steampot Restaurant has a fusion variety of menu, in which we ordered Chatti Chooru of beef and chicken. This restaurant is located near to Arya Central school. Food was tasty and quantity was more than we expected, for the money we spend it was worth. The staffs was also good with their service.. Table's fir dining are less as this is situated in a conjusted area. Theirs no parking area for the restaurant, we parked our vehicle near to the restaurant by the roadside. For the food i ll rate 5/5 .
Since fish is something people can easily ruin when cooking it and you can't get a guarantee of its freshness, im very reluctant to order them. I prefer eating it at home. So when i got a sudden craving to eat Fish, i ordered it from here anyway along with a Veg Pothichoru.
The Pothichoru was good, it came along with a gulab jamun as well. It contained rice, kappa, a dry chammanthi, papad, rasam, sambar, avial, buttermilk, dal curry and lime pickle. And as for the Neimeen pollichathu, the flavor was ok ,a bit spicy.
Overall, it was packed well ,the food was an average but reasonably priced.
The place has a good ambience eventhou it's not that spacious. They have served a really tasty Biriyani. I would like to try that again. Also they have offers on biriyani in ubereats also for some 79 rupees. Must try.
If you have an early morning landing and want an amazing appam breakfast close to the airport, this is your spot!
One of the only places that serve hot appams and stews early in the morning! Their combos are good, I had the appam and chicken stew combo, quantity is very very very good and pricing is also very economical! Must visit! 💯
Delicious food. We tried the chicken puttu, kappa ularthiyathu, chicken omelette and kuttanadan prawn curry. Kappa ularthiyathu was the best. Chicken puttu was also good but don't expect the quality of Dhe Puttu. Prawns curry was also fantasitc. But chicken omelette was average. Overall its a very good restaurant
Nethli fry wasn't very crispy but the appams were hot and nice and so was the fish curry. Juices were good too. Friendly and helpful staff.
