Above average price (1400rupees for a big fish enough for two people) but the grilled red snapper fish tasted really great. Cash only accepted. At this price range of the fish I hope they will accept card payment soon.
We were looking for a local restaurant with fresh & good fish. Curry leafs is a great one if you look for charm, friendly yet quick and polite service. Fish fry and prawns really tasty as well as the other choices.

Excellent seafood served here, with a pleasant and chilled out view. Tried prawns, snappers, chilli chicken, kerala porotta. Everything was well made.

Food is good but a little pricey. Staff are polite and humble. Restaurant has a nice panoramic view of kovalam beach. Overall nice experience. One negative can be is the fact that there is no road access. One has to climb a small hill from kovalam main beach to reach the restaurant. But, the view
Probably the best food we’ve had since being in Kovalam. We are staying at the Leela hotel and found the food and beer at the Curry Leaf to be really good and half the price of the hotel.
