Super fresh sea food cooked with love, very tasty, it is a bit on pricey side mainly meant for foreign tourists. But it doesn't stop us from enjoying the good food that locals have to offer. Would certainly do it again. The service is super slow vit you are rewarded for the wait.
Salt water sea food restaurant is a hidden gem. Been there twice in a row. I can recommend the catch of the day. Red snapper, lobster, various prawns etc. The service is great.
The restaurant reopened today (3 November 2022). We were very happy with our grilled fresh fish. Very neat place and it was nice to meet Joy Solomon who is associated to this restaurant.
Nice restaurant which is situated far from usual tourist spots. But food is really nice, staff is also great

Joy is extremely friendly and dedicated. The caught fish of the day was very well prepared by its cook who came back on purpose to prepare it for us at 2 p.m. Thank you both 🤗
Originally stopped by for a lunch and received a very warm welcome from the owner and his staff. We were shown the options of the catch and chose the prawns (which to our European eyes were the size of a small lobster) . They were delicious. Came back a day later just to watch the sunset and have a drink and received the same greeting. If you find yourself on Adimalathura Beach then treat yourself
Beautiful food. Joy was a friendly host. Definitely recommend for the choice of whole fish in butter garlic sauce. Chicken noodles and papaya juice were wonderful too.
It was a sunny day. And we were famished. The over the top, overrated resorts nearby refused us food saying they cater to only inhouse guests. We walked for sometime and this Solomon and his little cafe appeared like God. For me and my partner, it was a revelation of some kind. I told him I will eat whatever you can prepare for me in shortest time. I had some fried rice and an omlette. Believe me, the cafe and the owner and his boys 🙏 will live ever in my heart. Awesome people doing awesome work.

Any freshly fished fish they bring to the table first, so you can choose which one you want.
The servants father is a fisher man on the working beach close. And they explain very friendly what kind of fish it is and what’s special about it. Lovely atmosphere you can sit outside and hear or see the sea :). There are also some nice drinks available ;).
Had a good conversation on the preparation and enjoyed the food.
Though the rates are a bit high but you can see the authentic preparation and taste.
Mr Baiju Salomon who run the restaurant takes care of his customers and even guides them in sightseeing.

Gem of a find. Was only in the area for 2 nights, ate here the 1st night and so impressed, came back again the following day! Highly recommended!
