One of the best Porotta and beef place in Trivandrum.
The pazham Poris are nice too.
Small and busy place bang opposite to a hospital, so don’t expect it to be a fine dining experience and you’ll be fine.
Good experience dining from GP restaurant. I had Kerala porotta beef fr and It was good. Gravy provided along with the fry was equally tasty and it was thick too. I also tried the trending combo of pazhampori together with beef curry, the trending combo was okay but not worth the hype.
One thing which needs special mention is the TEA. Overall for 3 kerala porotta beef fry and tea costs me ₹200.
Tried their famous pazhampori + beef combo. Soft, flaky dry beef masala with crispy pazhampori is worth trying this combo. But it is a bit overpriced for the quantity of beef they provide. They also serve other items like porotta, dosa, chicken items, etc. Can get a bit crowded at times.
Got to experience their famous pazhampori and beef...and the quality of meat is worth mentioning..Can also try it with poratta, appam etc...
Had breakfast and dinner multiple times. Tea and beef is amazing. One of the best beef spots in Trivandrum. 😋
Tasty porotta and beef fry.Their pazhampori has many fans but wasn't available at the time.Generally clean, small hotel.
Parotta was hot and fresh and the staffs were very polite and friendly. Food was average/standard and nothing to complaint . Overall nice place to eat.
(Dated March 2023)The signature item is Trivandrum style banana fritters(pazham pori) and beef fry combination. Beef fry is one of the best in town. Porotta is also good. This place is Budget-friendly. Meals are available but I would rate it three out of five. This place is always crowded. For cleanliness I would give three out of five. Parking is very difficult.
Pazhampori and Beef of this hotel is very famous. They charge Rs. 100 for beef. Tasty food. Not a big hotel- runs like a village tea shop. Must visit while you are in Trivandrum. Direct opposit to Ramakrishna Mission Hospital. Parking might be an issue if you are driving a car- better to hire an auto.
I was skeptical about the famous combination of this restaurant - pazhampori and beef curry. I din think I'd ever say this but I really liked it. You've got to try them. It's the weirdest combo but somehow both of them compliment each other, they are gooood.
It'll cost you ~ 250bucks.
Budget friendly hotel. Dishes tastes like home made one. Pazhampori and beef recommended.
Known for Kerala Parotta, Beef and Banana Fritters combination in Trivandrum, so tried this combo for the first time 1 week back after hearing a lot of hype and review on this.
Its a small shop so seats depends on the crowd.
Banana fry is available from morning
Beef is average felt like it has to be cooked a little more cos it was little chewy (personal taste)
Kerala Parotta is a bit thick, 3 pc per plate u can change if needed
They provide gravy and onion slices
Overall it was tasty but beef-banana
combo couldn't please my taste buds..
You can give a try atleast once..
Rs.680 for 5 people if Im not wrong ...
After hearing much about the famous Pazhampori & Beef of GP Hotel, me along with my friends tried it. Justifies all the hype it carried.
Both Pazhampori and Beef alone is good enough, the combo may not be liking for everyone but both items individually tastes the best 🤩
Crispy Banana Fritters (Pazhampori) and Beef Roast with Strong tea is the must try items at GP Hotel. The place is bang opposite to Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Sasthamangalam and Between Indira Medicals and DDRC SRL Labs.
It is not recommended to have breakfast (I had it at around 9.30 am) as a porotta pazhampori beef combo. It wasn't freshly made. They have reheated and fried the food from yesterday. But it was tasty, which is why I am giving it 3 stars. Try better in the afternoon or evening.
