It was a very nice experience with Amma backwater poovar . Excellent service , nice staff, locations all are very beautiful and worth it. We enjoyed it a lot, anyone planning to visit poovar they should do this boating with Amma back water . Thanks for a wonderful experience.
Very good experience here. Reasonable price and very good service. The boat man 'Mani' has amazing skills in maneuvering the boat. Could see birds way before we could. Took extra pain to make sure we captured every bird in camera before he would move further. In all, the best experience in Kerala.

Thank you SAJI.. It was a very nice experience with Amma Backwater at poovar.. Hired two boats for 2 hours at a price of 4000 rupees.. They were quite nice in explaining the facilities and other options.. Boat captain are very friendly.. A good place for a sightseeing.. Visit there and enjoy!!!

It was a very nice experience with Amma Backwater at Poovar. They were quite nice in explaining the facilities / options. Ms. Smitha Aiyar there is a wonderful person with speaking comfortably in 5 Indian languages, and Mr. Vinay who took us on the boat was very nice.

Poovar Backwater really amazed me as i personally felt that this place is better than Allepy Backwater. Mangroves, narrow canal,forest island and golden sand beach everything at one place. Thank you Amma Backwater
It was an outstanding experience all together with Amma Backwaters as i got to witness Estuary between river and sea and had tasty seafood from a floating restaurant.

One of the more pleasant activities to do in/around Kovalam. Bit pricey if you’re only doing for a couple of people but still worth it.
