some brand had to strike a balance between these two and it is indeed superstar pizza that does it. delicious pizzas at affordable price points. the garlic bread varieties here are ones to die for as well. not to forget the beautifully packaged shakes, crushes.
to cap it all, Superstar Pizza supports artists. specifically StandUp Comedy artists. Superstar Pizza has been a platform for StandUp comedy since late 2015. and since August 2016, it has been a platform for Tanglish Comedy, a Tamil+English StandUp comedy platform. 6 OPEN MIC shows have successfully been conducted here with many more to come.

Been here for a friend's treat. Never had heard of it, but a friend of mine had been to this place at least 3 times, so we decided to go for it.
The place has a good ambiance, filled with Rajinikanth's themed walls and dishes. I'm sure Rajini fans will love it, though I'm not a great one. We were damn hungry so ordered starters at a go. Cheesy Garlic Bread was good, and we ordered Nachos, Fries, Cheese balls among other things as well. They were good. For main course we decided to go for Pizza. We ordered 2 veg and 2 non veg Pizza's. The veg ones tasted good, but the non veg ones weren't that great. Finally, for desserts they had very limited option, which was definitely a setback. Only 2 dessert option among all was available, we ordered that only. Taste was okay.
Overall a decent place to go, if you're a Rajini fan, you'll love it maybe, but food is decent I would say. So, ratings, Food: 3.5/5 ; Ambiance: 4/5 ; Value for money: 4/5
As their tag line says, place is by a Rajnikanth fan for all his fans and the ambience totally reflects that. Even the menu and the dish names will remind you of him. Fan or not, you must try the pizzas and milkshakes here and you would forget Dominoes. We tried chicken pizzas and garlic breads which were pretty good. One of the good parts is the place is right next to Elliott's beach so in case you are around the beach, you can easily drop here for a visit.

Theme Bases restaurant and special place for Rajini Fans. Food was decent and good. Price was quite ok. Must try is Pizza.
Visited on a weekday during noon. Small place but very decent. Stands right next to the Bessy beach. Rajinikanth themed Ambiance. Loved Pasta butter masala and Chicken Skewers.
Took the kids after the beach outing. We found a nice table without any waiting. The interiors are quite unique and superstar themed including the songs that were being played, the food menu and the posters, pictures, etc of the superstar. Coming to the food, we ordered a "Thee" pizza and the "Paneer and Nachos". The food was quite decent. Not something that I'd rave about but acceptable. I felt the Paneer, Capsicum and Onion topping mix on the nachos was a bit too overwhelming. Would recommend the place for the uniqueness. For the food, not a bad alternative but will not certainly be my first choice.

The restaurant is situated in Besant Nagar. The cafe theme isn Superstar Rajnikant.
The frames and photos of Superstar will be a heaven for fan of Rajnikant.
The food served was super cool and tasted good.
The service was quick as well.
Overall a nice experience!
Been here twice. Never disappointed. Their new butter chicken pasta is a must try and bbq chicken nachos are simply yummyyyy also the four sauces that you get to incorporate in your dishes are an additional benefit :)

The Illamai Oonjal Aaduthe Pizza was really cheesy and tasty.. The Peri Peri Fries are worth trying with the dips..!
Excellent food. The fries were so good and mouth watering. I loved the food and the ambiance. But the place was a little small and the staff were constantly standing beside us because there was no other place to sit. It was a little creepy as we felt like they were overseeing us. But the rest was fine. Good place by the beach for family visits .

I liked the interesting theme of this restaurant but I felt that the food was average. I ordered 2 veg pizzas and chilly baby corn, cheese balls and garlic bread. The garlic bread was decent but the baby corn was too strong in flavor. I also thought that the pizza was average in taste. The cheese used could’ve been of a different kind.
Restaurant was really very gud and very clean. Pollathavan pizza suggested by the staff was really very gud and spicy I loved it. But it was very surprising when I asked fa a cold water bottle they don’t have it I don’t know why...

Loved the theme and the ambience. The music played is also from thalaivar's movies.
The food was decent. The best part? They offer a wheat crust pizza for a few extra bucks which I thoroughly appreciate!
Cravings can set in, but make sure you choose wheat over maida :)

SuperStart Pizza is a Rajnikanth themed restaurant with all of their pizza named after each of his films.The Pizza were thin and crispy as I liked. A must try for all pizza and Rajnikanth fans out there.
A very very tasty pizza compared to the traditional mass-produced dominos and pizza hut.
Taste is more towards indian and Asian flavour.
The ambiance is based on Rajini Kanth and also they have a new kabali based art on the wall.

They were thin crust pizzas and were perfectly cooked. Soft and juicy! The fries were good but they tasted regularish. Nevertheless, we left satisfied!

Small place with around 4 or 5 tables only. Ambiance is okish, not so great or attractive. Menu items are named after Rajini's movie character or film names. Of all the pizza varieties, chandramukki is must try one for those who love spicy veg pizza. W.r.t starts, garlic break was good enough and quantity was enough for 2 to 3 people. Amazing pizza at amazing price. The pizza served here had a really thin crust with enough cheese and toppings. The best thing about this place is you get dips for free. I ordered mundru mugam pizza and absolutely loved it. Along with it I ordered garlic and rosemary fries which complemented my pizza.

Fantastic place for a superstar fan. One small thing felt was there could have been photo booth types where u can take pics with superstar cutouts or something. Pizzas were really nice..loved the garlic breads and lemon iced tea was perfect taste not too much sweet as I personally like it! Get rajnified here!

Best place for Pasta. The Alfredo pasta is a must try and also the Chandramukhi Pizza. The taste of food is just amazing. The ambience is nice with an interior based on Superstar Rajnikant.

When it comes to food. We ordered a all time fav don basha pizza. The crust was thin and soft and taste was very good.
The pizza tasted really good. I have never tasted such a good pizza. Pasta was a bit off. Chocolate milkshake was very tasty. Dont add mayonnaise on fries saying its cheesy fries thats a different thing.

I would strongly recommend this place to any pizza lover. The best part for me here is the soft base of pizza which tastes really fresh and light. It's unlikely to find a pizza which is filled with enough cheese yet comes out light to belly. The varieties are good and prices worth it. The theme esp. the names of the pizza are impressive. Nice thought there.

Many would have been aware of this, to people who dont know, this cafe is a real treat to ears and eyes of Rajini fans.
Like every 90s kid, i too grew up listening to Rajini sir's songs. To dine in a place filled with the superstar's posters, listening to all his songs and ordering pizzas named after his movie titles based on its genre, isnt it a real treat??
We had "Sigappu Manithan" (red man), which justifies to the name containing RED peppers, TOMATOES, mushrooms and onions. And also garlic bread from the starters page. They also serve unlimited pizzas and garlic bread in the name of "Arunachalam", which cannot be shared.

Finally :) to the restaurant I wanted to go for a long time now , ambience bought us the real feel of being a thalaivar fan , as u and your friends can point out the movie roles. As it was my birthday the staff was so sweet to even allow us celebrate. Their thousand island sauce was just finger licking , they actually made me a huge fan of that. We bought basha , kaala , annamalai , padayappa chandramukhi etc etc. In which chandramukhi was over spicy filled with chillies making us cry. The others were totally too good. Thumbs upp and I'm going back to the store someday :)

This place was perfect for a friend's treat. It was budget friendly, food tastes amazing, and they give you a huge mayonnaise squeeze bottle which is amazing. The ambience is great with pictures and quotes by our superstar. Friendly staff too. Do try it out if you're a hard core superstar fan!

The place was very pleasant and comfortable. Loved the ambiance. I went with my girlfriend and we ordered a thalapathi pizza and coke. The food was super good and we enjoyed a lot. The service people was polite and good. The background song was good but I recommend to play it with less volume.
After seeing reviews in zomato, I decided to go here. It is a small place with 25 seater . With lots of superstar photos on all sides . He ordered pizza and milkshake. The base of pizza was handmade fresh and good and tasty toppings . There were 4 types of sauses served as compliment. And milkshake was also good and it was 450 ml. Overall worth for money . Enjoyed the food. Thanx to both zomato and restaurant.
One of the best Themed Places I've been to in a long time, I tried their Annamalai Pizza which did total justice to the whole name. Overall, a must visit place in Besant Nagar after a stroll on the beach or a drink. Definitely the best memory I could carry on, from my last day in Chennai.

A whole place which is completely dedicated to Superstar. Loved the ambience especially the wall paintings of our Thalaivar. This is my second visit & we had "Annamalai". Food is delecious & healthy too😜. Must try for pizza lovers.

This place is situated just off the beach, they have a wide variety of starters, pizzas, cold drinks etc that are easy to customise too.
Service is top notch, very humble people who are very cooperative and always attend to customers with a smile.
The food tasted awesome too, very tasty pizzas, fresh toppings and also they helped us choose the right portions without being pushy, clearly a positive for a F&B outlet.

True to the name, the restaurant is a must try for Thalaivar Rajinikanth fans. They have pics of all the Thalaivar films framed in all the sides of the walls.
The food was only okayish for me as the cheese on french fries and pizza are different to taste. I think they mix egg with cheese and vegetarian should explicitly tell this to management or go to another vegetarian restaurant.
It is hard to find a parking spot during weekends as it is near the beach and gets very crowded. There is also a gaming zone nearby so it gets really jam packed so plan accordingly if you want to visit here.

OMG this place is simply awesome and a delight for Rajini fans! The artwork on the walls, the music played, the dish names in the menu, everything in the ambience reflects the Superstar's culture. And it's not a wily gimmick. The food tastes awesome. Their hospitality is top notch.
We ordered Chilli Cheese Garlic Bread, Fish Fingers, Chicken Tender Strips, Kochadaiyan Pizza and a pitcher of Green Apple Mojito. Each dish was very well prepared and presented. We had underestimated the serving quantity, it was slightly overboard than what we could handle.
If you're a die-hard Rajini fan, and/or looking for a place to have a meet-up with friends or a date, i would recommend this place. It won't burn a hole in your pocket either. It is located towards the north end of Besant Nagar beach, so dinner can be accompanied by a visit to the beach as well.

Cheese burst pizza is overloaded with cheese, with every bite cheese will ooze out.. it's just yummm and creative..
Honey chilli corn is super spicy, garlic bread is crispy yet soft in a delish way.. the ones with chilli have actual pieces of green chilli and not the flakes FYI.. so tread carefully if you're spice averse..
We've been here many times and it is nice and peaceful at lunch times..
Beware of standup comedy shows on Wednesday nights.. they don't come with content and sometimes you end up being their content.. customer beware! But we had fun!!

If you are a Thailavar fan and a foodie, this is the place to go! With the nomenclature of each dish cleverly revolving around the superstar, you would want to try out everything on the menu. The superb service, coupled with the kollywood themed ambience rife with posters and stills of the superhero, it is a great place to chill with your gang on any day.
Amazing place, amazing food. There were a lot of options to choose from, and a variety of starters. And needless to say, the Rajini theme was awesome. Love this place.

Superb Restaurant, best pizza in Chennai. Hats off in Thalaivar style. Starters where unique the Cheesy Chilli Chicken garlic bread and corn. Pizza for main course was so delicious on a thin crust.
The ambiance is the best and it was wonderful to see Superstar everywhere around you with his dialogues on the wall. Chumma adhurudhilla.
I recently had dinner in this restaurant. Excellent place to have Italian dishes.. Atmosphere was good and food was also up to the mark.
An awesome place for hangout. The Pizzas had great taste, all are thin crust Pizzas. All the items in the menu are named after Thalaivar movies... pretty cool experience. And the staffs and service was too great...
Though I'm not a movie freak, ambience here dragged me away from Subway. Less crowded by the time I reached there and yeah. Pizza is nice and I like chicken poppers more than pizza. Thin crust is really thin tasted good. I'd say that, the pizza is enough for one. If there are more people, then we need to order more.
Good place! It screams of Rajnikanth. The menu is named after his movies and songs and has toppings appropriate to the genre. We had 'Chicken chunks and fries', 'Spicy BBQ sausage' and 'Mona mona' pizza. They were all good. Will go back! 👍🏻🙂
