This place was recommended by a friend. We gave it a try & we were happy that we did visit it. the Thali with a rajasthani touch served in the dining hall was great.. everything was delicious. The service was good too. The pricing was very reasonable too.

I was just impressed by the serving speed at Natraj. The staff was so hospitable and alert. Each and every sabzi that was served had flavors. I completely enjoyed this experience. If you are in udaipur then it's a must to visit.
I also ordered Ker Sangri and Gatta curry which was just finger licking.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Around half a km away from the railway station so definitely an option for a quick, filling and yummy lunch before travel.
Got here around 2:15pm today and service was quick, they quickly laid out our plates and starting serving us. There's an option between Rajasthani Thali and Gujarati Thali, we tried one of each and not much variation I'd say but everything was yum.
The servers are patient and kind and they genuinely take care of the customers. So many dishes for ₹240/ thali is insane. Much visit!

It is must visit restaurant if you are traveling to udaipur. There homly service and freshly cooked food is must to try. This thali has all the varieties and is lip smacking.
This is the best thali I have ever eaten. Take it from me, you don't want to miss this place. I love thalis. I have eaten a lot of them.
It's been a long while since my visit but I must tell you,
Khichdi at the end with Kadhi, the gujrati or Rajasthani both were delicious.
I had ghevar on my visit in desserts. It was mind blowing.
Rotis were soft and hot with ghee flowing from it.
Every minute detail was paid great attention to.
If you are visiting Udaipur, you MUST visit this place at least once.

Best dining hall in udaipur...
If you are in udaipur one should not miss this place, very reasonably priced thali with quality maintained. They shuffle dishes everyday start with papad and soft beverage and thali will be filled with all dishes in 30 seconds. But takes time to empty it as its unlimited. In the there will be a dessert. Must visit and food is very tasty

Yesterday I ordered one Veg. Thali from Natraj restaurant through Zomato. In the packing, the bowl of Kadi was leaking and all the material of the Thali was soaked in it. It was not edible. I showed the same to the delivery boy also. Then, I contacted the Zomato helpline. they said it was a mistake from the Vendor side. I then called the restaurant and told them every thing in detail and sent the photo also. We had arguments but finally they apologized and offered to send another Thali or refund. Since my father is Diabetic and couldn't wait for yet another thali to arrive, my mom had cooked for him by then. So I refused to accept the Thali and also to accept the refund as they had already apologized.
On their repeated request, I asked him to send the Thali today.
And he did exactly that. He himself sent his person, who reached in time and felt sorry again.
No doubt the food quality is as usual very good.
One must care about his Customers, up-to their satisfaction.
I finally rate 4.5 0.5 cut for the mistake.......
The Rajasthani thali is good. But more than the food, the service of the restaurant is very very good.
After tasting from different restaurants in Udaipur. I found Natraj to be at best in taste. Dal Bati was super good. Fell in love with the food. However, I haven't yet visited the place but ordered from zomato while visiting Udaipur.
Amazing place to be if you want to try authentic Mewari cuisine while in Udaipur. Located next to Udaipur Railway Station, the restaurant offers a lot of delicious food served in one thali all together. You get continuos inflow of a varity of 18-20 items in a huge plate. The staff if courteous and humble and will serve till you tummy swells up like a balloon. Try having fun with your friends at this place.
Good place for daal bati , that's what we went for ! Batis were done perfectly and churma was excellent as per traditional taste. Haven't tasted other food options so would recommend for daal bati atleast.
This place is worth the hype I mean everyone in Udaipur knows Natraj Dining, a timeless place with a set meal that will blow you away. The service was excellent we literally had our heads glued to the plate. Lunch was so filling that I skipped dinner that night :) a resto that should be on your Udaipur itinerary.

Normal restaurant thali types, but if you are a thali fan then must visit. Food taste is good and served hot, its like ghar ka khana. Combination of food is also good. One star less for location slightly off route, you may have to shed 50 to 150 for auto one way.. but then things we do to get good food.

Natraj is amongst the top 10 restaurant for food in Udaipur . Cost friendly awesome thali and with great service . Chaas served here is lip-smacking . Just hope this place was a little more cleaner and this place would be a 5/5 score card . Overall a must visit for traditional tasty food .

Natraj dining hall and restaurant tops the list of recommendations when asked for best unlimited Thali in Udaipur.
This place is very popular among tourists and you will have to wait for 10-15 minutes to get a table.
Service is pretty fast, they start serving the food as soon as you sit. Waiters keep roaming around the tables serving hot and freshly made dishes.
In our Thali we had khaman, mini kachori, papad, red and green chutney, spicy lehsun masala, mix salad, chana masala, shahi paneer, mix vegetables, kadhi, daal, aalu masala, butter roti, sweet tikkad, tiny pooris, moong daal halva, rice, ghee khichdi and chaas to wash it all down.
They have both rajasthani and gujarati variants of daal as well as kadhi.
The thali costs Rs. 240/- per person.
If you arent a thali fan you can go on the second floor and order from their menu.
They serve authentic rajasthani staple dishes like daal baati churma and gatte ki sabji too which is in my wishlist now.

A perfect place for an authentic Rajasthani food experience. The dining hall serves Rajasthani Thali as well as Gujarati Thali and the Restaurant serves other Chinese and contemporary cuisines.
We went to the dining hall for Rajasthani Thali and it was absolutely delightful. Food was tasty and the managers were personally asking around all the tables if they liked the food and they need anything else. Must visit once, if in Udaipur.

Must must visit for delicious, tasty food. We went 2 times for lunch. We tried Rajasthani and Gujarati thali over there. Daal baati, gatte ki sabji, lassi was very tasty. The Gujarati thali serves unlimited food with different sabjis, gulab jamun, daal, Kadhi, rice, papad, cutlet, salad, khaman/dhokla, etc. there might be waiting period, so plan accordingly and visit. Also, there is parking available.
Its a very famous place for Thali, so we thought to give it a try. We went for dinner, upon reaching there we found that there is a waiting line, you have to get your name noted and they will call you, you won’t get a personal table, you have share the table with others. Service is super amazing. Food is delicious and unlimited, they will keep coming to you with dishes. Buttermilk was so yum. Overall, worth every penny.

They offer amazing unlimited thalis and the new branch near railway station also offers dal batti.(which is also unlimited but you can max have 2 battis as it gets very heavy 😂)

This is the best place in Udaipur for Thali. The plate is simple but very tasty. The mirchi Wada served along were the best . One floor has veg thali and other has thali of Dal batti churma. But the veg thali could beat the the Dal batti anytime. They serve awesome chaas to go along. The sweet dish was okay and thus I said the bhaji and everything was too simple but good. Of course I have to mention the kadi which was super tasty . The 3-4 Bhajiwala were good and papad again was different and good. They serve khichadi in evening morning it is only dal rice or kad rice. The dal batti thali is too heavy and the batti is huge size they serve 2 per plate but believe me impossible to finish alone if you are a average eater. I never had one like this one. Should try place. Cost is 300 per plate. The toilets though weee not very clean.
Natraj is a well known dining hall in Udaipur city. It is very popular restaurant because of its Thali System. They serve unlimited food in thali. There are mini samosa, Puri, chapatis, kadi, khaman, rice, paneer, daal, kheer, chhachh etc in their thali. I tried it and obviously it has a good taste. Though some of their food items are not warm. Ambience of the restaurant is nice. Behavior of staff is good. Overall everything is good. One should try it at least once when in Udaipur.
Note- natraj is not bad but I like Rajwadi thaal much where I went one day before.
