Jheel sets the perfect aura for an evening meal. It’s outdoor seating on the rooftop is aesthetically arranged and adds to the serene lake view. Coming to food, Jheel’s wood fired pizza was good as usual. We ordered spaghetti for the first time there but weren’t disappointed though the garlic bread didn’t match the Jheel standards of cooking.
If you want an evening with the views of pichola lake and the sun setting right in front of you, this is the place. The food is also nice and the staff is polite and courteous. But the views will steal the show, always..

But ohh mannn, the wait was Worth it, the Pizza was amazing. The view was the main attraction. Loved everything. Will surely visit everytime I come to Udaipur.

Jheel is located near the Gangaur Ghat of Udaipur . Its a 4 storey building restaurant with rooftop .Its a beautiful arrangement . We visited here in the evening and chose to dine in at the rooftop . The evenings are beautiful from up there as it faces the lake .
The Ambience is good and place has a good vibe . The service is good and the pricing is decent too .

Our go to Breakfast place in Udaipur. This place was like a 5 min walk from our Zostel. They have an amazing view.. wherever you sit, its beautiful. The food is good and standard - you wont be disappointed whatever you order. We had some nutella banana pancakes, lemon ginger tea, apple pie, hot chocolate, delicious toast and omelette and ice tea. You'll find it a bit of a lag to place your order. And since this is a touristy place.. preference will also go first to tourists. Apart from that, a very nice and safe place to just chill.

Being a Traveller in the City, I was in the hunt of some promising cafes here and I landed up here.
Food- We ordered Green Apple Slush, which was perfectly prepared,topped with lots of ice and with a perfect flavour of Green Apple. Next thing was Woodfire Pizza, which is one of their specialities, baked in a very authentic way, Pizza was just so crisp, soft and loaded with lots of bell peppers, capsicums and other veggies. Both of them are definitely a Must Try!
Ambience- Offering a Roof Top View, a Lake side sitting as well as indoor sittings. This place will serve as the best place to click all of your beautiful pictures with Lake Pichola in background.
Service- Their service is average and Staffs are nice, friendly and co-operative.

Best view to have breakfast at. Their pizzas are amazing, tried there mushroom sandwich which was also very nice. Brownie sundae was too good. Loved their coffee, all in all, amazing place if you wish to have non-north Indian food 😜

We were completely thrilled to find this cosy and beautifully located place. The mushroom pizza took some time but it was worth the wait. The cold coffee and strawberry shake were yumm. Would recommend everyone to be there to get the feel of heritage rich Udaipur.

This cafe was always in my list since I visited Udaipur. Heard about this alot. This cafe is famous for it's lakeside top floor view with wonderful variety of dishes over here. Staff was very helpful and polite. It's situated in the top floor giving wonderful lake view with cold climate. Price was also pretty decent.

Wood fired Exotic veg pizza - 4.5/5 - It was a thin crust 12 inch pizza with lots of veggies and mozzarella cheese making it more yumm.
Hot Chocolate - 4.5/5 - This was one of the best hot chocolate I ever had.
Overall this Cafe was very good. One of the best vegetarian Cafe in old City Udaipur. It's near Gangaur Ghat. Highly Recommended!!!
We had veg pizza along with hot lemon tea. It was a perfect evening and view. The service was fairly very slow but it’s fine the food compensated. We also had the apple pie and it’s taste has still not left my mouth. It was not good. Haha, their desserts would be good but apple pie is definitely not one of them.

This place almost epitomizes the city and is a must visit for anyone in town. The seating by the lake is picture perfect. They have a good selection of beverages. Would recommend the teas with Jasmine tea being light and refreshing. Their pies are lovely. The seating on top has a charm of its own. We loved the sandwiches which were tasty and filling especially Mushroom melt chilli and Bombay cilantro. Special mention for their hot chocolate which is rich and flavourful. Pricing is decent and doesn't cause a great dent. Service is alright. Would keep going back here for the combination of food and views it offers.

We came here on a friend’s suggestion. Ordered a veg supreme pizza with hazelnut frappe. The quantity was huge, pizza was fresh, cheesy, and loaded. Special credit to the frappe, we just couldnt stop at one and ordered a second round. The ambience is also good. Only downside is locating the cafe and the 3 levels of stairs one needs to climb.
A must go if you are in Udaipur.

A small, busy cafe located in the middle of the main market, a little on the inside, but the directions sign will guide you through. We reached here after a very tiring day and on a complete explore on foot basis and I had come across this place on a lot of blog suggestions. Their ground floor as well as the roof top seating was beautiful and their variety of food was also huge.
We called for their fries, which had a very large portion and was more than sufficient for 2 people. We also called for their cheese chilli tomato toast sandwich that they customised for us on special request and the sandwich was really nice, but just a little burnt from an edge, but that’s all right as the taste made up for it and the fact that it was served with fries yet again, made it so much better.
We called for a coffee, which again was amazing and very well made with the cutest art on it and had their chocolate mud pie and I was a fan of it, so much so that I wanted to order another one of the chocolate mud pie as well, but was too full for it.
You must try this place for a nibble or just a relaxed view and a great time, whenever in the main market. Definitely one of my top recommendations when in the city.

Jheel has been one of our hangouts since college times. Located on Lake Picchola, it has an amazing ambience with seating right on the lake (you can literally touch the water!). It has amazing views of the old city area around the lake and they become even better with the sunset views in the evening. The food is good with a variety of coffees / teas and sandwiches being the pick of the menu. Not too expensive considering the location.

Ordered arabiatta pasta and three pepper pizza. Taste was really good ♥️ and it was quite expensive but the view from the rooftop made up for it.

A nice Cafe with a seating divided on multiple floors, with Rooftop being the best one as it offers lake view and cold breeze. Not a very wide variety of food options but for fast food its ok. Washroom arrangements are only available on 2nd & 3rd floors. Overall a nice place to hangout in Udaipur.

Well, you come to Jheel Cafe, dining here is an experience like none other. Never in my life have I eaten so close to a natural lake (Lake Pichola).
The feeling is divine, now coming to food, I would recommend coming here to have your breakfast as they have an extensive menu serving Italian and English Breakfast to Sandwiches and Pizzas.
The food is nice not exceptional though, prices are a little on the higher side but I won't complaint only because of the view which you get from here.

Thus place jheel is very quaint . But the approach is very bad. The whole entrance is dug up like crazy. But yes once you reach here ( quite difficult) ...the food is outstanding and worth the 5 floors up.!!

The very first cafe/restaurant I went to on my trip to Udaipur. A pretty good choice since I ended up having the best mocktail of my entire trip at this cafe. Located in Old Udaipur amidst all the hustle bustle this cafe had more than 3 levels of ample sitting area. We were happy to get a corner table as the best view can be enjoyed from here. The rooftop view is spectacular and you'll enjoy your time here irrespective of how the food tastes like.
We had the following dishes here: Veg Supreme Pizza, Penne con la Rosa pasta and Paneer tikka sandwich.
Out of these pizza was the best- thin crust and absolutely loaded with veggies apart from being pretty huge in size. The pasta was also pretty decent and the toast served along with it tasted great.
However the paneer tikka sandwich didn't please me much. The stuffings were filling but the overall taste wasn't much to talk about.
For drinks we had: Watermelon mocktail and Cafe bicerin.
Excellent beverages both of them. The mocktail was really refreshing and the coffee had three different layers of black coffee, cream and cappuccino.
We were full by this time but we ordered a slice of apple pie as it had good reviews and was one of the recommended dishes here. We were glad to go along with the recommendations as the pie was really delicious with fillings of apple, raisins and nuts. Plus it felt pretty light as the sugar content wasn't too high.
The place is moderately priced as the total bill for all the things was roughly ₹1200.
Lastly a visit to this place played a major role in my enjoying Udaipur as the view from the rooftop is spectacular. The ambiance was extremely soothing and since I visited during monsoon time it felt even better with a cool wind blowing on my face. It has been a month since I visited this cafe but even today if I close my eyes I can still savour the soothing effects of the wind.

Tiny but a mighty cafe next to the riverside. You’d find people from all over the world at this quaint cafe. It’s quite a crowd puller, especially the foreigners. Not only does it have the best view of Jagmandir but it also serves quite amazing food. Being a coffee fanatic, lived their cold coffee which was the perfect amount of sweet (yes, without any instructions as to how I like my coffee). The sandwiches are quite sumptuous and filling.
This cafe is a surprise to someone who is visiting for the first time. It's in the old City amidst the hustle of the city this 4 story building stands.
This is exactly on the brink of the Lake and has a great view. The peace you get here is so soothing. I must say one must visit this place once.

A true hidden gem of a place situated in the nukkads of Chandpole. Surprisingly the space is big as the cafe setup is lined vertically and there are many tiers. To add up to the beauty is the mesmerizing view of Lake Pichola
😍Ginger Lemon Coffee : A piping hot and frothy preparation infused with lemon and ginger. Not too sour nor too zingy, it was beyond the ordinary with such purity of flavour! Highly recommended
😍Hazelnut Frappe : Cold coffee blended with hazelnut, had the right balance of sweetness.
😍Pesto roasted veggies sandwich : Veggies sorted in basil pesto, stuffed in a multigrain bread and grilled to perfection. The combination was just perfect and flavour of the sandwich was heavenly. Highly recommended 🔥

The first dinner of our Udaipur trip happened here. We found out this place on ZOMATO and thought of giving it a try. Turned out to be a good one. Loved the tomato basil soup that I had ordered. Pizza tasted so good so was the pasta. I really liked their food. Only thing was that entrance which was muddy and shady but i think it has to do the place it is situated, just beside the ghat in old city. The view of Lake Pichola from the balcony was good.

This place is so well made that I fell in love with it. It's a 5-6 floor building with cafe sitting areas on the ground floor, 3rd, 4th & 5th floors. The 1st & 2nd floor has suite rooms.
The whole cafe is well decored and the ambience is very soothing with a good view of lake Pichola.
I was happy to see the whole menu had the majority of veg options. The service was quick and the staff was very good as well.

Coming to the food they are known for their wood fired pizzas and some nicely done sandwiches and pasta. Tried the pizza and it was yummy with homemade sauces and perfectly done thin crust. My all time fav go to place. Best for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, whatever time you go. The ambience and the view are the best. I will suggest book a table prior if you are visiting at weekends or peak hour like dinner bcs tables are mostly full specially the tables with great view.

This a nice upscale cafe near chandpol gate. Has excellent views of the pichola lake and taj palace.
The prices are on higher side, and service is decent. Only, one complain- they don’t even serve free RO water to guests coming from scorching sun. You have to buy a water bottle.
On the positive side, the cafe frappe (cold coffee) was exquisite and made to perfection. Avoid going in afternoons as sun is on top, its a good place to be in evening after 4 pm, the views are amazing.
