@sai sagar is probably the best place that I visited during my udaipur trip. I completely enjoyed the sunset and having kulhar coffee. They also has very yummy Maggie, garlic bread and paneer tikka. I really wanted to try more things but I was soo full.

Visited Sai Sagar on recommendations from various youtube videos. The place is located just across from the Fatehsagar lake, which gives a great view. Ordered cold coffee, veg maggi, schezwan pizza, bbq fries and potato twister. Everything tasted good and it was really affordable. β₯οΈ

The best about thing about this place was the amazing view of lake Fateh Sagar along with some really good munchies. We tried the Kesar Kulhad coffee and veg Maggi.. Sai Sagar is famous for it's Veg. Maggi and Cold Coffee with Ice-Cream. We had ordered Cheese Veg. Maggi this time. It is known for its spicy flavour making it a lip-smacking dish to relish. It consisted of capsicum, peas, onions and tomatoes though the quantity of tomato was a bit more than the usual. Nevertheless, the taste was nice and it was definitely worth a try.

Sai Sagar is firstly located at a very serene location, it is one of the best sunset viewpoints in Udaipur. I ordered Garlic bread, Cheese fries, kullad coffee and cold coffee and all the items were up to the mark. It provides both quality of food and quantity. The service can be improved, as it takes a lot of time to first give out the order and then wait for 20-25 minutes to receive the same. Apart from this, the prices are very reasonable for the quantity provided.

Anyone would dream of having a cup of coffee or this sort! Visiting during dusk, while taking a stroll with a cup of coffee from this outlet, beside the Fateh Sagar Lake is a good idea. Delicacies here include the hot coffee. Served in a kullad, this is definitely an experience. Sitting there, i had the first one and ordered a second one too. Definitely worth a try ! Also tried the garlic bread here, that is a good bet too. Service is prompt and staff courteous. There is ample seating arrangement too. I had bookmarked Sai Sagar before my visit to Udaipur but like an idiot I totally forgot about it until I had my first disastrous experience at another food stall on Fateh Sagar night market.
But while walking down the road, I discovered this place and all of a sudden remembered about bookmarking it. But I was already half full from a pathetic Pao Bhaji (you can check my review of that place at New Bombay Pao Bhaji). Here I, played a bit safe and hence ordered Veg Maggi, here is my verdict:
It was simply delicious! First of all for 50 bucks the portion size for good and the taste was impeccable. It had proper balance of spiciness, the crunchy taste of veggies (onions, capsicum, green chilli and tomato) and was seasoned perfectly. Also, it was not very dry or very runny in consistency. Literally one of the best veg maggi I've had since long.Β
My only regret being that I did not come here earlier. But something is better than nothing. I will rate this place a very well deserving 4.5/5 for the taste as well as quantity.

It is the best place in Udaipur to enjoy your small snack meals. It is in the corner of chowpati just near the stairs. It serves the best cold coffee with ice-cream in the town at a price of just βΉ60. And also a variety of lip smacking snacks. Cheese Chipotle fries is a must try.

Their kulhad coffee was creamy frothy and delicious. I had two cups (kulhads)of it. The twisted potatoes served on a stick were also tasty.The service is moderately fast for food items and very fast for beverages.Loved sipping on coffee, watching river terns(birds) trying to catch something in the lake. It's a popular hangout spot in the evening.Have coffee and chit chat with friends.I have a suggestion, instead of throwing away the kulhads, they can be reused (like I needed a refill).Good for the environment .
Place is worth visiting for the location and coffee. When we visited they did not have any food options on Sunday night at 8pm except paneer tikka and potato on stick. However there is an excellent chowpaty next door and totally yummy vfm options.

1. Cold coffee with brownie - Delicious coffee served with a piece of brownie was an absolute heart winner for me! Highly recommended!
2. Oreo shake - Not the best oreo shake I've had, but definitely not bad either. And for the dirt cheap price, it's a no brainer! Recommended!
3. Potato twister - Loved the presentation and the taste! Highly recommended!
Overall, an epic place with delicious food which doesn't burn a hole in your pocket! Kudos, Sai Sagar!

Hot coffee(5*) is outstanding, cold coffee is good but nothing exquisite. The serene view, a calm evening, and hot coffee with some snacks is what you are blessed with, a perfect getaway. Visit this place after 9:30 - 10:00 P.M (the place is open all day) and you'll enjoy your coffee best.
A south Indian has a unique coffee palate and more so if you are accustomed to the filter coffee of Tamil Nadu. Given these preferences, I had refrained from consuming coffee anywhere except this place (tried it here only because our driver recommended it).
We tried:
1. Cold coffee - was served with chocolate ice cream topping. Bit on the sweeter side, but lovely cold coffee; would rate it on par with the better ones I have had.
2. Hot coffee - was reasonably good and my wife enjoyed it.
3. French fries - not the best, largely because of how thin the strips were. But was crispy and hot; which served the purpose of a lakeside snack on a chill evening.

Service - quick
Ambience - it's located in the ally of road side stalls. But the lake view is the clear game changer.

And i came across this cafe at the fateh sagar lake, i got attracted to this cafe because of its khulad coffee and guys i must say it was amazing and not just coffee even its hot chocolate was delicious. This coffee outlet is situated at the end of all the other food joints at the Fateh Sagar Lake and is very convenient to find. I visited Udaipur for 3 days and tried their hot coffee on my very first day in Udaipur. They serve hot coffees in Kulhad, which makes it even more pleasing with the lake side view. Being here is a treat in the evening. Also, they serve the best cold coffee with ice cream in the town.
We also tried the spring rolls which were not so good. They were too oily and not so tasty.
But that can be overlooked as they serve AMAZING coffee! β

One stop coffee shop when you're at Fateh Sagar, late on a winter evening. Been there many times, and the most lovable thing is they serve coffee in kulhad. Fateh Sagar Lake sports a whole bunch of eating spots present around its perimeter. Sai Sagar is one of those shops which apart from the offering a beautiful lake side view and an outdoor seating, also serves delicious Indo-Chinese food.Β
Our order included Veg Hakka Noodles, Schezwan Noodles, Chowmein+Manchurian, Singapuri Noodles, Manchurian Gravy, Chilli Potato, Paneer Pakoda and Masala Maggi.Β
Veg Hakka Noodles had lots of veggies however was a little bland for my taste. Schezwan Noodles were a bit spicier and tasted a lot better. Chowmein + Manchurian was a particularly surprising dish as it had lots of dry Manchurian pieces served with a good quantity of Chowmein. Singapuri Noodles were again a bliss for my taste buds with lots of exotic veggies like babycorn, etc. Manchurian with Gravy had almost 10-12 pieces of fresh crispy fried Manchurian balls with a thick garlic gravy. Masala Maggi was their own version of Maggi which was again delectable. Paneer Pakode had an even, crispy battered panner pieces which went well with the chilli sauce they provided. The only disappointing dish was the Chilli Potato as it just had onions and capsicum instead of potatoes.
The place being very small had a limited number of working stoves so it took a lot of time for them to get our order. Because of this instead of getting the full order they brought the dishes one by one as and when it was getting prepared.
Anybody who visits Udaipur has to try their hot coffee! It is intoxicating, you keep wanting more and more of it. Also, you can sit quietly by the banks of Lake Fateh Sagar and sip your coffee while a little boy shows you magic tricks and entertains you. :) The cold coffee is commendable too.
