Tranquility is what you are looking for, amidst the bustling life ? Then is place, is a great getaway to rejuvenate yourselves. Being a frequent traveler to Udaipur, was exploring certain options to stay and relax. Hotel Lakend was on the suggestion list, and found it quite interesting and beautiful. At first, could not believe that the photos were real or just great photography, but when I visited there, to my surprise it was mesmerising, the weather was icing on cake. It is located on Fatehsagar lake shore and gives an enthralling experience. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was very courteous and makes you feel special. There are 2 options for rooms as well lake facing and non lake facing, the rooms are really spacious and nicely done. Interiors and colours used were very calm and soothing, the mattress quality was commendable too.
The bar Frangipani, serves some really great appetizers and they also have happy hours😍🍻 I loved the Greek fries, Crispy chicken and Falafal platter from its wholesome menu. Breakfast was complimentary at its restaurant The Urban Tadka and the spread was huge and delectable, just a little disappointed with the spread due to repetitive menu of confectionery section, as we where there for 4 days. The service staff is very ambient and polite, always ready to assist. The Rajasthani Thali is also a must try at this restaurant. They also have a beautiful terrace restaurant, with lake view.
The most enticing part of this hotel is its swimming pool, overlooking the lake, gives you a feel of infinity pool. Your will certainly fall for this place, especially during sunset, as it becomes photo perfect ; mountain, lake, pool, trees brings you close to the nature. I have also uploaded, few photographs and trust me they are all natural and no filters or edits used. Don't trust me ? Be there and experience yourself, it's divine !

Good place for a get together . Quick bites available in the menu. Also the condiments are pretty good . Ambience will give you a touch of traditional rajasthani culture .

It is under the possession of Hotel Lakend. The title of this place is unique. For those who don't know "Frangipani" is a tropical flower. This bar is a snug place with a chic feel. You can rejoice either from the inside or the outside open lounge area under the sky. The outside arrangement with the lake view is casual yet beautiful.
I am not into cocktails but I tried few of their mocktails and food items -
1. Cheesy Sauce Pizza (3/5) - A taste not suitable for ordinary taste buds as it's not the crispy one. Super Thin Crust base with a layer of cheesy sauce and topped with basil and black olives and no spices.
2. Crispy Corn (3/5) - Too much salty and quality ought to be improved.
3. Dahi ke kabab (1/5) - The curd used in them was utterly sour so I was unable to even eat 1 single kebab. However the same was conveyed to them & they replaced it with spring rolls. The spring rolls were nice (4/5).
4. Kiwi Mocktail (5/5) - A perfect mix of kiwy & oranges. Sweet tangy flavor with a slight mint in it plus served in a cute glass jar.
5. Fruit Punch Mocktail (4/5) - A mix of vanilla and fruity flavors so it's a little creamy and not too sweet.
In an outline, this place has very few beverages and drinks for non-alcoholic people. You can have that in-the-bar or outside as both types of arrangements are made here along with cheerful view of the fateh sagar lake. So sip with the breeze and enjoy your moments. But food quality needs slight improvement.

An amazing place which serves delicious food. We ordered spring rolls for starter which tastes good. Paneer butter masala n dal tadka was amazingly cooked. Service was good. Worth a visit.
Only place in Udaipur, where you can relish Sushi.

This place is class but I would recommend it only for a booze as the food is average here but the best part is the sitting area with the enchanting view of fs the heart of udaipur...!!

The food I wouldn't really look forward to coming back for again, we ordered jar potatoes which were great and the wonder box which served a lot of quantity but wasn't a pleasure to taste buds.
I loved the kulchas- very very soft and had a great taste.
Dal Makhani again poorly cooked.
If you're someone who'd want to have a drink, I recommend this place. But a no, when it comes to food.
Dined here two nights in a Row while staying at Hotel Lakend. Beautiful view, lovely food and very very courteous staff.
An artist was playing lovely music on a Rajasthani instrument called Ektara (I think). Overall a great place to spend an evening.
PS: Sarson wali gobhi and Crispy Chicken are must haves.

Beautiful place with an equally beautiful view of the Fatehsagar lake. Frangipani by the Lake is part of Hotel Lakend, Udaipur. The Fatehsagar lake view is mesmerizing from the outside garden sitting and food is up to the mark. We tried Crispy Chicken, bullet chili with red wine. The chicken had perfect blend of spices. The food menu is bit on a higher side but the view and the food is worth every penny spent. If in Udaipur, this place is a must visit.
The place is so mesmerizing, the interior, food, service everything was up to the mark. One of the nost fascinating thing about the place which I found was the lake view. While eating you can have a beautiful view which add ons to the taste of your food.
The place is very beautiful as well as you get a view of fateh sagar lake.... moderate service.,..coo n peaceful place !

Awsm place its so amazing and romantic place in the city... Best location go for family or frnds its so awsm place pool is ao clean n the property is vry good parking space is too good.
Awesome venue and had a great combination of taste also. Greek fries with dip, paneer mallai tikka, dahi ke kabab were mouth watering.
A small outside bar facility is also provided. Staff was nice. tika singh attended us and was very helpful 😃
The best part about this place is the romantic setting , right on the banks of Fathe Sagar lake , in the midst of well maintained lawns and the worst part , the destination weddings happening at the hotel , when the entire area is taken over and dare I say abused by the wedding party
The courthouse service by the staff and the perfect air-conditioning makes it a perfect venue to spend some time with friends . The food and snacks , though nothing Earth shaking are quite decent , a three out of five .

Excellent menu and food, pastas were really nice. Perfectly herbs. Very friendly and well trained staff.
Suresh, Banalal and Thawar Chand are amongst the best servers there. Mr. Jitendra, the manager was really nice to us, he made sure the food we ordered was served the best.
We visited this place out of chance, since we were looking for a place to eat and were already beyond regular lunching hours. Must say, this place surpassed our expectations with the quality of food, level of hospitality and service !!

It was the most magical evening i have ever experienced. Period. I wanted to have drinks by the lake during sunset and etc, but what I experienced was so much better. It was at the blue hour before dusk when everything was serene. The hotel is situated in one of the best locations, I must say, accessible yet away from the noises of the city. The bar serves all kinds of beverages with such great foods. I loved every bit of my experience. The hotel has a pool just beside the bar along with the view of fateh sagar Lake and the nehru Park. If you're looking for a quaint place for a drink when in udaipur, then look no further cause this is it! It's exquisite service, location, food and drinks make me wanna come back again soon. You can find food and drinks anywhere in the city but it is the aesthetic of a place, the atmosphere which sets a place apart from another which is why I decided to spend and evening here and I don't regret one bit. It got a little chilly at night as it was right beside the lake which made the experience better as I visited on a hot summer evening. However the bar doesn't serve dinner and for which they have an equally good restaurant in the rooftop where we ate; Bougainvillea terrace by the lake.
Everything was on point. The food was delicately hand crafted, delicious and flavorful. And it was served by kind and courteous servers. And ambience was super romantic and well organised. All in all it was a perfect evening.
Top most Rajasthani thali in Udaipur City, extremely good food quality and service, a view incomparable to anything else. Bajra khichdi in this thali is one of the best I have ever had. Anytime I am back in Udaipur again this will be my meal for sure.
Beautiful views with good food. The lake is clean and not smelly at all. Probably the best restaurant I've been to in Udaipur. The service was a little slow that day because they were short on staff but it could've just been a bad day. Prices are worth the ambiance and taste.

Five points for the location! Service and food weren’t great. Found the place to be a bit expensive but anything’s worth the view it offers. Seeing the sun set is a must if you visit the place.
This restaurant is an excellent place to dine at. They have the choicest veg and non-veg menu. The food is very well made and tasty. The lakeside view is breathtaking. The staff are courteous and well trained. The open air setting is liberating. The well maintained garden is a treat to the eyes. The washroom facilities of Hotel Lakend are available to the guests of the restaurant.
