They serve Lip smacking & Hot Samosa's and Kachori's. Simply amazing. A must visit when in Udaipur. Casual Seating but great food. 👍👍👍
They are so popular with their Poha and Kachori. They open their shop at 7 and run out of everything by 12. They never re-prepare new stock for the day so make sure that you are there to enjoy their delicious food.
If you wanna have best kachoris in the town... This is the place! Though the ambience is not up-to the mark so if you're a hygiene freak, it's not for you.... However it's the best street food sounds the vicinity... Take away is best option
Just three letters , I love it.
One amazing feast of Dal kachodis n samosas. Everything cooked in ghee as per owner n the same is justified when a single bite goes into your anticipating n salivating mouth. A small wait time where one sees the smart owner in jeans frying the stuff himself n serving Ur order politely n humbly..
Served in daunas with choice of mithi n Hari chutneys( thin but tasty n spicy).
Also , while moving out I took a lone piece of Kachori given in paper , crushed it n by God, jannat Ka mazaa as Gaya..
- couldn't try their jalebi due to non availability . N hopefully going again now.
P.s. Don't expect a restaurant , only two tables . So it's better to stand outside n savour the street food at its best 😋😍🤩
Wow kachodi and chutney combo.
Plus it is dirt cheap and the servers were really humble.
Try their jalebi too of u have a sweet tooth. It's one the best in town
Found this hidden gem in the streets of Udaipur (Jagdish Chowk) - Paliwal Restaurant.
They serve daal kachori, samosa, poha & tea...all at the mere price of ₹10 each. Everything is full of flavours and the hosts serve you with amazing hospitality. They open up at 7.30 am and close down at 2.30 pm.
One of the best & more than value for money breakfast joint in Udaipur.
PS - Do try their desi ghee jalebi if you happen to visit on a Sunday.
Awesome experience, at this place just feel like home.. food was awesome..Nice place every one has to come and enjoy food,
Good stuff, should be tried once."
Dal kachori Rs 10
Pyaaz kachori Rs 15
Tea Rs 10
They open in the early morning at 6 and closes at 1.
You sometimes need to wait in the queue, such is the amazing taste of their kachoris.
If in Udaipur, kachori of Paliwal is a must.
Do not miss this.
We were in udaipur to celebrate my bday... we were residing at thamla haveli... and wanted to have some good brekfast... which sould be a street food.... some localites told us about the paliwal ki kachori and jalebi... we went there.. & i must tell you the kachori wa yumm.... my fav was the poha and the iceing on the cake wa the cardomom flavoured jalebi...
Every Sunday without fail you can find me here.... One of the best breakfast destination of udaipur... Kachori with green chutney & lassi.... Must visit...
The best kachoris of town..and they serve sweet , soury and spicy mirchi bada too...and the taste of spices is totally wowww. The best place for spicy food lovers.
One of the best kachories can be found herein the town. The kachori have so much of fillings inside it.
Prices are really low but it does't mean taste would be low too.
Kachori cost not more than 10 rs even with Chutney & Curd. Sure value for money isn't it ??
Hence it is a fast food shop it doesn't guarantee great hygiene and comfortable sitting but still the things can be compensated by it's amazing taste.
Good for quick bites.
Recommendable for the one who want to know more about #indian #spices
#alltimebhukkad

And near by their is gangaur gath good place to visit Neel Mehta
Mung Dal kachori.
Authentic dal kachori, aloo vada, mirchi vada and samosa.
If you are visiting udaipur, note this place in your breakfast list. Kachori was too testy and khasta. They served it with some sort of tikhi and mithi chutney. Very delicious you will love it.
The place is quite famous for their kachoris in the town. You can find huge crowd especially during weekend mornings. I tried their khasta dal kachoris and they were nice. They are served with green and red chutney.
Visited Dec 2023..
When I was in Udaipur recently I came here everyday. Sometimes more than once. That should tell you something.
Kachori & Samosa (Rs 15) were tasty and crisp. But my fave was the Mirchi Bada (Rs 20) - incredibly tasty and not very pungent.
I would advise you to ask for less chutney on the kachori & samosa, the chutney is too pungent and ruins the taste of the kachori/samosa.
Owner/s are very nice people.
btw, on Sunday morning there was a small mob at this place.
Pics attached.
The bestest place to have breakfast in Udaipur. This place sells the best Kachori and you should never miss it when you’re in Udaipur. I tried their kachori, chai and gulab jamun. All of them were really delicious.
This place has a typical old city charm. The kachori served here has a delicious hing flavor to it. You can either have it plain or accompanied with sweet spicy chutney! We also had a mirchi vada : its a Indian pakora, made of bigger chilli which are not very spicy. They cut it in half and fill it with a potato filling, covered by besan batter, deep fried in ground nut oil. The taste is ultimate!
If you have a sweet tooth, try jalebis made in pure desi ghee and are a great end to a perfect breakfast.
Note: the place is a hawker type small shop and they just have a small place to sit. They close at 2 pm, best time to visit is around 8:15 am in morning.
Strongly recommended if you’re a foodie.
The best in the house, absolutely fantastic eatery place near jagdish temple, udaipur. Yummy delicious breakfast they serve in the form of kachori, samosa etc. We tried their kachori and samosa. Cost us 30/-. Must try place if your are visiting udaipur. Highly recommended.
The best moong dal ki Kachori in Udaipur. Paliwal ji ki Kachori is legendary. Located near Jagadish Temple in old Udaipur this small place is buzzing with locals from early morning. They serve only two items Samosa n Kachori, Kachori being the highest seller and they have tea and hot milk also. The Kachori is served piping hot with two kinds of chutney. The Kachori itself is so delicious and the addition of chutneys make it amazing. The crunchyness and flakiness of Kachori is perfect and it's deep fried to perfection by Paliwal ji. The owner is humble and very friendly. There's no place as such to sit so you enjoy eating it standing where they make fresh hot Kachoris.
Went there early morning around 7 directly from the railway and there were quite a few people already relishing the Kachori. Highly recommended to try it when in Udaipur. One of the best Kachori i ever had.
The best place to eat kachori in old city. It is located near Jagdish Temple . Offers kachori at just Rs. 15. Loved the taste and uniqueness.
The best kachori I've ever eaten.
The staff is also super hospitable.
One has to wait in a line as fresh batch gets made.
Just has kachori, nothing else.
Paliwal kachori is must for any visitor to Udaipur. Just amazingly freshly cooked, mouth smacking, tasty! One can't stop at having just one piece.
This time we tried all of their fresh snacks; kachori, samosa, aloo vada, jalebi (see the pic of all 4 getting cooked OR getting ready for cooking) in single frame. It taste even better during early morning and cold weather.
