I had a biryani it was good in taste and pocket friendly 100 bucks for half plate biryani and the quantity is good for a single person. Dint get chas though. All together a good experience small and a neat place.
A must visit place for non-vegetarians in Udaipur. I loved "the never tasted before " type Mutton stew. That 4/5 is just because of slow service and Dal gosht which was not upto my expectations.

I and my likes who finished their high school in Udaipur while ushering in the new Millennium (the year 2000) and thereafter have literally grown up on Rehmaniya for their Non-vegetarian cravings during that period and more due to the lack of choice at that time. It was a heavenly escape especially for those who hailed from pure vegetarian households. Now due to many options cropping up, Rehmaniya's numero uno position has diminished by the dozen.
But for the sake of old times, it holds a special place for many.
I did a take away order almost a month back of Chicken Bhuna coupled with Chapatis. Signature super spicy taste with well cooked Chicken albeit a little stiff.
The best selling item remains the Butter Chicken which was a regular with us 15 years back and when had with the hot roomali Rotis they serve, it is the perfect combo.
People who prefer less spicy should go with Chicken Stu which will never disappoint and comes in a greyish white Gravy.
I have never had Mutton items there so will refrain from commenting but have heard a lot about.
If you are dining in, expect a total absenteeism of ambience but super fast service.
The quantity is quite good and one portion of Butter Chicken or Bhuna will serve two easily until and unless you hold a appetite of a wrestler. Hence, you get a total value for your buck.
I am going for 3.5/5 then since Rehmaniya remains still the sort of guilty pleasure outing, you occasionally seek of which you think in your later years and which brings nothing but smile!
The instant reply to any udaipur resident for which is the best non veg place in town was Hotel Rehmaniya.
I had high hopes when I visited this place and well glad to say it did not fail.
Highly recommend everyone to try the butter chicken here, it's definitely the best butter chicken I've had in my life.
Other dishes to try are the chicken seekh kabab along with the rumali rotis.

Had visited it 3 yrs back and fell in love instantly. And was craving since then when could I visit it next. So got the good fortune to visit this on my Rajasthan trip last week. Non veg galore it is. Correction suggested for Team Zomato- this one is not situated on lake side. Al- Rehmaniya is situated on lake side run by same management. Chicken Dana costs 280 per kg. It costed 200 per kg 3 yrs back. Its oil fried chicken kabab. Nothing amazing. But the cost! Mutton was not as good as had last time. It was more of fatty. But taste was really good. Chicken tawa was nice. Rumali roti is better than Tandoori Roti. Salad is for 10 ₹. Yes I wrote it correct. Word of caution- situated next to grave yard( nothing scary) in a small lane. Might be a uncomfortable for couple or family to come over. Landmark- its 10 moms walk from Chetak Circle. Bringing on car can be uncomfortable. Auto comes in easily. Al rehmaniya is situated in a better place with better ambience with an additional item of much delicious Laal Maans on menu. Head to either of them for relishing non veg

Good non veg and economical than other hotel. The biryani is different for someone travelling from south with ghee and grounded masala filling your stomach quickly. There is slight delay in getting order and all recipie may not be available. Overall recipe are not spicy. No atm machine. Paytm works. Bill in hand written paper. Hence its budget!
