Udaipur's best South indian food restaurant.I tried all the dishes available in menu but I liked the most Rawa Onion Dosa, Mexican Dosa, Paneer Chilli Masala, Ghee mini idly, mysore chilli masala dosa, filter coffee & Punjabi Thali. They always serves fresh, tasty and hygenic food. I lβ€ve it.
Food was great , Kesri in dessert was top of everything, a must try dish , Dosas were crisp which is must for it . Sambhar was hot and chatneys were great too. Will order next time aswel and will visit for sure aswel .

Visited this place few days back, was craving for some authentic south indian food so we went to this place for the first tym, we ordered ghee podi idli, pavbhaji masala dosa, fried mini masala idli & rava kesari in dessert...Ghee podi idli is semolina idli served with pure desi ghee topped with crunchy gun powder, taste good with delicious tangy sambhar...we loved the sambhar & chutneys of this place... The the crispy fried masala idli was also good in taste, mini idlis were fried & topped with some veggies(just like masala papad) and gun powder...next two things are my personal favorite at this place...pavbhaji masala dosa & pineapple rava kesari.... Pavbhaji masala dosa is a dosa with stuffing of normal potato masala with a addition of some veggies and sprinkle of their special homemade pavbhaji masala powder, which makes masala more delicious...a must try if you love bit spicy dosa....then we had pineapple rava kesari, which is basically semolina(suji) halwa with some dry fruits & pieces of pineapple... Believe me you will love it for sure...overall we had a great experience there at mr.& mrs.idli udaipur....this is one of the best option for south indian food in sectors....

One random evening walk led us to this amazing South Indian restaurant for snacks. Little did we know, we would find nice South Indian food in Udaipur.
We tried Schezwan Dosa and Idly Manchurian. Loved the Sambar..
Service and ambience both were good enough

Try the tasty Butter Masala Dosa . Itβs taste is as desi as you can get in Tamilnadu. The taste of sambar and quantity of chutneys served can be improved. On the whole, it is one the best restaurants to try South Indian dishes in Udaipur

Nice ambiance and large menu offering ample options to choose from. Polite staff and quick service. We had Madras filter coffee and honey chilly potato. In all a good family restaurant.

One of the better south Indian restaurants in town, must try. Sambar is amazing, chutneys are flavourful and adequately spiced. The favourite was sambar rice. Tadka on curd rice could be stronger with more mustard seeds and chilly.
Recommended.

Was a new restro so thought of ordering from them and it was nice experience, food quality was upto expectation , packing was also good , will again order from them .
Ordered fried idly masala was a great and different snack , packing was great too , from Chinese menu ordered mushroom tempura as I like mushrooms and the dish turned to be awesome , will order again for sure .
Good quality authentic southindian food , i ordered idlys and they were soft and fresh , sambhar and chutneys were great in taste, second dish which i ordered was pav bhaji dosa which has great pav bhaji masala filling , loved it , packing was nice too so dosa came perfect , did not went soggy.

My recent visit to Udaipur got me hunting for a South Indian cuisine as my wife loves it.. honestly I don't like it much π¬.
Someone recommended Batra's Mr and Mrs IDLY and we landed there for brunch .
*THE PLACE
The place is adequately appointed, neat and functional place for quick and comfortable meal . About three famlies were there with us and we easily got a table to comfortably seat us all.
Approach and car parking space is available.
The decor is as per a fast food restaurant with catchy red and white photos friendly colours.

The menu has a vide variety of South Indian dishes with many catering to the adventurous and kids tastbuds .. the owners have been busy here to make the difference..π

We ordered,
in starters
UPPE , wada, mini idli , golgappe, papri chaat and
spring rolls and pasta for kids ..
main course,
masala dosa, upma, ghee podi idli , wada and rawa masala dosa.
Filter coffee on the side ..
Softdrinks and assorted moctails for kids and ladies ..
*OUR EXPERIENCE
The service was fast, within 20 min about 15 of us had our orders.. that was quick .. though it helped we had called in before going.. but still our orders were given there on the table .
Food Taste ..
The rawa masala dosa I had was best after a long time . Re ordered twice as it was shared ..
The Ghi podi Idly was. Amaizing with ghee and chilli gun powder as we call it .. again reordered..that's a very rair thing for me to do in a South Indian restaurant.
The coffee nicely complemented my meal..
The masala dosa were also great so were the uttapams. As I heard complements over the table ..
Wadas were crispy.
The sambar and chutneys were to my tate and I loved them ..
The kids soon shifted from pasta to dosas and idli when they tasted it.. so would say they loved it too..
The chats were nice and crispy.. the ladies loved it..
We spent about a hour and half there never realised the time .. came out stuffed to the extent we skipped the days dinner too..
Our group was lucky and attended too by the owners Mr And Mrs Batras, The lady has been taking keen intrest in the recipes and ensuring that meals are prepared to the customers satisfaction the same was obvious in the meal we had..

A fast food South Indian joint which gives you comfortable seating and space and service at n average cost of 250-300 per person to include starters , drinks , main course is a amaizing deal..

This is a place where you can find all kimd of South indian food. This place has good food and great space for family friends. Their pongal is best for me. They had all kind dosa and different types of idli. Its a good place to have good food.

Ordered food few times from here and experience has been different each time. Masala idli and fried idli were very bad In taste and I literally couldnβt eat more than a bite. But masala dosa and uttapam were great. Packing is superb and the portion is sufficient. Looking for a great experience every time
Having lived most of my life in Chennai I have brewed and marinated myself in South indian vegetarian food. Well almost :) Mr and Mrs Idli has the most authentic south indian food. I ate idli and plain dosa the texture and taste of both was spot on and the accompaniments sambar and coconut chutney was absolutely smashing. Great taste. Must visit. Absolutely a must visit.
Being from karnataka we were very happy to find a hotel which serves Karnataka food like dosa and idli. The place did not disappoint us , we tried idli , vada , different varieties of dosa. All were good. He even had filter coffee. It is a franchise. It is very close to South Indian food. The service and ambience both were good.
