Went here with family on my way back to Bangalore on a Monday evening.
I travel to udumalpet once in two months I will repeat for sure.
Since I live in Bangalore I know how monday evening food taste usually it's previous day leftover in Bangalore restaurants(most of).
But this restaurant Everything they served was fresh and tasty I have ordered lemon pepper chicken, thootukudi chicken , pulkas, mustard chicken, hyrabadi chicken and chicken masala. This is an unique restaurant in udumalpet it's like no other restaurants in this area.
The chicken starers where juicy and very tasty and my son who does not like little too spicy food liked the dishes very much it was mildly spiced and cooked to perfection and every dish had its own unique flavour.
The gravy was full of flavour and was very good with pulka.
For the quality and quantity they serve the price is cheap as per Bangalore standards. Will surely repeat for their lemon pepper chicken.
Next up is to try their Italian menu items.
If you guys are en route or returning from munnar or living in the vicinity of udumalpet never miss this restaurant it's a must try and I am sure you will come back for more.
The Ambiance is worth the mention if you want to know what a garden restaurant means I would make this one as example.
The owner was down to earth and chef and people are very friendly Keep it up guys.

We found this place when travelling from Munnar to chennai. Dragged in by the ambience. we had chicken burger.. chicken supreme pizza and grill chicken. Taste was superb. Chill weather and breezy music is plus. we dined in for dinner and overall it was superb experience. Service takes bit longer since it was crowded but its fine when ambience was close to nature. would like to reserve this place for our future trips.

The menu has a combination of Indian and Continental dishes which is rare to get all under one roof. Surprisingly, Indian has the native taste and Continental foods do have the authentic taste which is good. The Fish Biryani, Hariyali Smoked Chicken and Shredded chicken were good. Good hangout spot.

Superb location & tasty food!
This place is located in the right spot for the travelers to quench their hunger. While coming from Munnar, this seemed to be the first restaurant in the 100kms stretch. We felt so relaxed in their open air restaurant and ordered some chicken varieties then biryanis and fried rice. their fish biryani, nasi goreng fried rice and grill fish was ultimate. Good taste. Had a very good food after a long journey.
The hospitality is awesome. The way we were treated is super. We were super dooper hungry and all we asked the waiter was what can be served fast the reply was biryanis, chapati and sandwiches. We ordered biryanis and grill fish and it was super yum. Then after we settled down on hunger we ordered for Chicken pasta and Chicken Sizzlers. Never thought such a grade of quality in such a small town. It was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Their Raspberry Mojito and Coffee Brazilia milkshake was also superb.
This place is worth driving from the city just for the dining. Kids loved the food and ambience.

A perfect stop by on Udumalpet-Munnar road, whether you are looking for lunch or a snack or dinner or simply some chai, Kick Grass simply steals your heart! What's more impressive is the service you get, Bala and Priya who own this place put their heart and soul to cater to each and every need of their customer. My personal favorite from the place is mushroom fry... definitely a must try!

The food here was very good. The chettinadu chicken and fried chicken were good. The chapati is the best I have had in the recent past. The mixed veg gravy and paneer kadai curries were good. The Assorted Veg Platter was nice. The Pistanut milkshake was also nice. Fruit bowl with honey and ice cream was much needed for the climate. Since we dined in for lunch we weren't able to sustain with only fans. A reuqest to the management. Please consider making the game room air conditioned and convert that as dine in.
Wow �.. a good one as a drive in .. lovely atmosphere and delicious Italian and Indian cuisine with good pastries too. Impressed with their interiors and garden arrangements. I would love to start my own restaurant similar to this.
This restaurant was a surprise find in the Munnar highway. Never expected such an ambiance and food in such a small town. Pasta and Mojito was really awesome. Clean restrooms and polite staff to cater our needs. Love this place.

KICK GRASS-"At the right place, to quench your thirst and beat your hunger"... Added to it is the awesome ambiance and the quality of service they provide... You will find almost all the varieties of food that suits any age group.. I happened to try their grill, thin crust chicken Pizza and milkshake... they were really mouth watering and light as well... waiting to visit this place again..
Lots of indian food item really like it., Briyani quantity is full. Good atmosphere the restaurant i really loved it the kick grass restaurant

People who travel to amaravathy, munnar, iduki, kandhaloor via udumalai.. i would suggest to try this place for lunch and all your food times.
Accidentally landed in this restaurant but nice ambience and good food.
We had lunch in open air....at a small site out space in the restaurant.
Bruschetta..... extremely good.
It's a small restaurant right on the highway. Given the remote location, it's a good clean option where you get both veg and non-veg options. The food is decent and not too expensive. Service was also fine. Ample parking available outside and not too crowded.
Tried Veg Pasta, Chettinad chicken, ThalluVandi chicken, mushroom noodles, Schezwan noodles, Tandoori rotiz lime juice and mint mojito. Pasta, Chettinad chicken, Schezwan noodles were good. ThalluVandi chicken was just average with more caramelised onions. Lime juice was good but I would not recommend trying mint mojito.
The ambiance this place offers is great at night time. Table is available inside and also on the outside. The staffs were well behaved. Bit crowded when I visited during night time. Better to reserve a table and come. Parking is easily available.
Kick grass is a cosy restaurant on the way to munnar from Bangalore. We stopped over for a late lunch and ordered mutton biryani with lassi and chicken starter. Everything was yummy. The place is neat and clean. They have washrooms as well that were clean.
We have gone with our friends to have a dinner at about 9.45 PM.
Overall ambiance is good and outside parking is sufficient for to park 4/5 cars. Even if you don’t have a place in front of the shop, parking won’t be a problem as you have lot of place around.
Starters were nice. We have tried chicken sticks and thalluvandi chicken.
Chicken felt tasty. Also mutton soup is outstanding. Service is fast enough.
Eventually we had finished with ice cream and that is also good.
Overall for Udumalai standard this is costly restaurant. Totally it’s good place for friends to meet and eat.
The food is simple and tastes good ambience is also very good well planned we have ordered chicken soup which was great in taste, then ordered Thai Basil chicken fried rice and grilled prawns the tastes was good but they have to improve on the portion size. The wait time was over delayed and one only 1 guy was servicing the entire 20 odd people when we visited. Overall the Food was good and tasty. The have open garden restaurant if you want to have there will be good idea but it was raining when we went. Definitely recommend if you are in Udumalpet, Dali Road. Cheers 👍
Very good ambience. Good place to take lunch if you are traveling from Munnar to Coimbatore.
A very good place in this route. Chicken Biriyani was just 120 and was a deal for this price - Just yum.. Noodles and lemon soda was also good. Service was nice as well.. They have neat restrooms and ample parking space. This place was a lifesaver for us on our route to Munnar. Recommended stop over in Bangalore-Munnar route.
Good restaurant in a lovely environment. Butter milk shake there is just awesome. Staffs there are also friendly. We had lunch there in the hall inside and we were just chitchatting out in the garden area when it was drizzling there. Perfect garden restaurant for a happy family lunch!
A very good restaurant if you're travelling from Munnar to Bangalore. The location is at the right distance if you start from Munnar after breakfast. We had vegetarian food and ordered north indian and Chinese food. It was all very good and services were very prompt. Place is neat and clean and staff was very responsive. Rates are very reasonable too. I highly recommend this for a meal break on your way.

Interiors of restaurant is super-cool. Interiors are designed in such a way to attract attention of customers. Lot of minutes things are incorporated in the design.
Apart from delay in service and all about this place is excellent.
There were lot of meat dishes, that is rare in rural Tamil Nadu.
The desi chicken curry was superb and Mutton Biriyani also tasted good.
The restaurant accepts electronic payments too.
Have ample parking space.

The food was all prepared fresh after order so spare them 20 minutes on ordering.

We are very glad to say that we hosted our kid's birthday party here by arranging Non veg dinner for around 35 to 40 guests .
To start with, Parking our cars were easy, the ambience inside was excellent, clean environment , Polite staff and good service on their part.
Starters Mutton Chukka and Chicken tandoori was a feast to our taste buds and the less spicy , crispy chicken sticks I would suggest it for kids as starters.
Veg starters, crispy Gobi 65 , Gobi Manchurian, was no less in taste for the vegetarians while the salt and pepper baby corn needs a special mention.
The starters - quantity served needs great appreciation.
Main course chicken Biriyani , also choosing your own dish for the veggies, and winding up with a choice of desserts from juices to ice cream was ultimate.
Every one including kids to seniors relished the food very much.
I/we would highly recommend Kick Grass to host your parties here or as a couple hop in here , to cosily accomodate yourself and thoroughly enjoy your craving delectable foods here!
Food is Gud... But prices are little bit high.... Food Taste is Really Good
We went with family and kids. Everyone enjoyed the food. We ordered some starters, fries for kids and fried rice. Fried rice was really awesome. Mojitos and fresh juice also good. Price also fine. We were happy with the service. Quantity and quality also best. We ll recommend for frnds.
