Dining at this exceptional restaurant left me thoroughly impressed. The Goli Baje and Mangalore Buns were beyond compare, setting a standard that no other establishment offering similar dishes can hope to match. The addition of old-world charm perfectly complemented the overall delightful dining experience.

Well known eatery in the premises of Lord Krishna Mutt is satisfying taste buds of locals and visitors. The place is usually packed and the menu is short. They have their own taste language. Biscoot roti, rave dose, buns, masala dose, and vade are recommended.

One of the good Option near Krishna temple in Udupi. I have tried their butter masala dosa, bullet idli, buns , parota, idli sambar , wada sambar and upma . Not a single dish disappointed us, one of the best buns I have had during my South Karnataka trip. They serve fresh hot and crispy buns. Masala dosa was crispy from the outside and soft from the inside , sambar and chutney had that typical local taste. Bullet idli had proper ghee in it. Overall best experience.

Its simplicity at its best. The food quality here is wholesome and cheap compared to the breakfast that we get in cities like Pune, Mumbai. Its a must visit for breakfast and recommended early morning. The Mangalore Buns were just soft and delicious 😍 among the dishes tried.

Came to the place because of its iconic image. The food was good but not mind blowing. The goli bajji and Mangalore bun were excellent but the masala dosa was okay

Mitra Samaj is one of the most popular and one of the oldest eateries located in Carstreet, Udupi. Their speciality is that they do not use garlic or onion for any of their items, as it is located within the premises of Krishna Matha. It is famous for Golibaje, Dosae, Bullet Idli, Buns and many more dishes. - Golibaje for 40₹ (5/5): You get 4 pieces of golibaje served along with a really delicious chutney. You get the softest and best golibajes here, they are flavoured with ginger, coconut and green chillies. It’s definitely worth the hype! -Dosae for 55₹ (4.8/5): It is also equally good, very soft and light. The chutney is also really flavourful. - Badam Milk for 40₹ (3/5) : I found it too sweet for my liking, and a bit over priced as well. Can be skipped according to me!

Located at the Udupi Shree Krishna Mutt area, Mitra samaj came highly recommended and it certainly didn't disappoint. We ordered for Mangalore Buns, Poori bhaji and sheera. Everything tasted amazing. The restaurant is small so finding seats gets a little difficult but the food was worth the wait. It's the best Mangalore buns I have ever had. The staff here were really kind and helpful to make suggestions.

Has an amazing vibe. Visit if you are in Udupi. Though a few items are overrated, a few have the magic taste-wise. The staff of this place were very rude when I visited and heard they have always been that way. Value for Money! Consider visiting only for the vibe it carries. Don’t come with a lot of expectations wrt to taste, you might be a little disappointed!

This place is in temple street udupi and the most famous restaurant. They serve typical South Indian breakfast. Mangalore buns are famous here. I loved Dosae idly vade and also their badam milk. It’s almost crowded every single day. They can improve on cleanliness of the place. This was my 2nd visit and I didn’t feel Dosae to be as good as my 1st visit. It is expensive just like Bangalore Dosae price. But it’s a good place to have breakfast

One of the oldest iconic hotels of Udupi servicing since 1949. Loved their mangalore buns and goli bhaje and godhi halwa😋 Masale dose could have been better. By seeing the menu I order mango rasayanam it ended up to be a usual mango juice with bit a elaichi flavour 😒

Food quality is good. Restaurant is small and near to temple, so lot of crowd and waiting time will be long. During long weekend and year end holidays , I suggest to skip. Definitely, you can try during working days
