It is popular and special because it is one of the oldest sandwich shops of Baroda serving unique samosa sandwiches.The cheese samosa sandwich is very famous and the best here, honestly I'm addicted to it. It is a very tasty mouthwatering combination of bread slices with samosa, various chutneys and veggies in between topped with a lot of cheese. They provide excellent quality at a very reasonable price. Service is fast even during rush hours.

I have not ordered online, but I have visited the place a couple of times. You can easily find the place as it is on the main road between the Vallabh Chawk, Jetlpur and the Bird Circle (Chakli Circle). The taste of the food was good on both the occasions and I didn't find any issues with it.

This was situated behind RC Dutt Road 10 years back during my school days and I used to eat alot at that time. Now in 2018, same quality and taste is maintened.

i have been eating here since I was in school. samosa sandwich is what this place is famous for. earlier this place was at rc dutt road and now they have shifted to jetalpur road. this is the only place in baroda that serves such sandwich. price is also pocket friendly.

It would not be wrong to say that Vishal Sandwich is a birth place of Samosa Sandwich in the city of Vadodara.
Till 10 months ago, it was operated as a stall beside Baroda High School. Now it has moved to a new place in Alkapuri.
The menu is limited with around 20 different options of sandwiches grouped in 2, Samosa Sandwiches and Grilled Sandwiches.
I usually give grilled sandwiches a miss for the sake of Samosa Sandwiches. They are simple yet super tasty. A piece of small Samosa sandwiched between 2 slices of bread with other condiments. There are cheese variants too for almost all the sandwich varieties.
Just one Samosa Sandwich will never be enough. An order of Samosa plate usually follows Samoas Sandwich to complement the dish.
Indeed, one of the iconic street food joint in Vadodara.
As usual it's the place which gave Vadodara's samosa sandwich.
Worth going there for this and would always go and keep on going as no replacement of this there...

During my college days I used to visit this place quite often but after it got relocated, I visited it first time yesterday. It goes without saying, I had samosa sandwich which never disappoints. Packed veg sandwich because I was sure that I will crave for it once I reach home. Pocket friendly place, 100 times better than other sandwich places if you are not looking for variants..
What to say about this place !! Yummiest ever samosa sandwich!! Nothing fancy is there in vishal samosa sanchwich- simple and perfect taste for my chat loving palate!! It's just a samosa between two slice of white breads with green chutney, tomatoe slice , onion and cheese if u like with a pinch of chaat masala! But trust me ,the taste is addictive !! They serve other sanchwiches and cold drinks too but samosa sandwich is their specialty!!
They used be situated near BHS , alkapuri for years but at present shifted near swagat at corn !!
The owner is not all interested in keeping the outlet working on Sundays , so please keep in mind that !! It's a place always flooded with students and office employees !! It would have given rating 5 , if they keep the outlet open on holidays , as being a street food outlet, they work in a pretty hygienic way !!

I got disappointed on hearing about the demolition of old place. But really happy to see it reopen at another location. This time, more spacious, cleaner and some newly introduced dishes like grilled cheese samosa sandwich, alu mutter grilled sandwich and veg grilled sandwich.
Would definitely rate this place 5 for everything.

Finally tried the sandwich from here as it was on my list of food places to visit in Vadodara. Ordered vegetable grilled cheese sandwich, nothing too special but the taste was good. They give you chips on the side which is a plus. I liked the communication from the owner, since it was busy and I ordered grilled sandwich, he told me ahead of time that it will take a little longer so I waited patiently, I didn’t have to remind them again for my order rather they called me in when it was ready. Good customer service and overall a good experience!

This place is very famous and old place in alkapuri area. Their old location was opposite alkapuri petrol pump but after some year they started their modified place at jetalpur area.
Whenever you visted this place it always crowded becuase of their tastely and delicious sandwich.
