Whenever I'm craving Mexican, I'll always wait for the weekend and order up from salsa habanero! I absolutely love love love their enchiladas 😋
Their burritos are super juicy and big and their nachos need no description.
Since it's a take away restaurant, they pack all the items separately and you can heat it up and serve it together at your home.
I'll 10/10 recommend it to anyone craving Mexican

Coolest owners and one of a kind food makes it amazing experience. Only complain it's open for very limited time and duration but that kinda makes it more exotic.

If you looking for authentic Mexican then salsa habnero is d right place. I been trying almost every Mexican restaurant in Baroda but I never satisfied unless I eat from salsa habnero. You guys open 3-4 days a week.
The food is as good as it gets. Love the taste. Even the quantity is sufficient. What attracts us even more is that the food prepared is out of passion and love for cooking. The owners have very inspiring travel stories to share too.
Best serving Mexican food in Vadodara must try once specially quesadilla they are outstanding and corn and chips with salsa sauce are good munchies on offer and Burrito they are simply awesome if you eat one you wont ask again

Finally tried Salsa Habanero today after failing twice, because they recommend pre-ordering. Open only on Saturdays and Sundays, this place is nestled in a housing society, away from the main city. The Burrito Fajita was worth the buck... Priced at Rs.180 it weighed pretty heavy. One burrito could actually suffice two thin people.. Had I had it in the morning, I would've skipped lunch and dinner too.. thankfully they open only evenings. The Burrito Fajita was generously filled with Grilled peppers, mexican rice and refried beans, a home made salsaish sauce and few greens and cheese. Everything tasted fresh and wholesome. The chef bragged that he didn't like processed food, and it seemed that he took his food seriously.. I've had burritos from Mumbai and Bangalore and felt that they always overdo the sauce and bring in lots of cheese, making it a not so mexican experience. Salsa Habanero, unlike the other bigwigs, is a true mexican experience. They don't have a dine-in option. it's a takeaway.. I'll try the Enchiladas and Nacho Grande next week.
By far the best Mexican I have eaten in India. I would recommend the nachos grande, which are exceptional. Made by two brilliant chefs, this joint is open only on saturdays and sundays from 6 to 10, and runs out of food quiet early. Best to order and book before hand.
Its a take away, should definitely try if you are in Vadodara.

This is the most authentic Tex-Mex I've ever enjoyed, anywhere. It is a small takeaway counter located in one of the residential societies in Subhanpura and open only for a couple of hours on weekends. Lovely NRI couple running the Mex joint, very friendly, welcoming and warm. The most amazing thing that I noticed here was the constant buzz of people in and out of the place, who were familiar with the couple and created an air of jovial warmness in the atmosphere.
Burrito Supreme - It was absolutely supreme in size. Enough to serve 3 people. The veggies were absolutely fresh. Loaded with rice, beans and many other ingredients which were refreshingly tangy.
Quaesedilla - Won my heart with the gracious usage of cheese. It's one of those dishes that you may get a craving for in the middle of the night. This dish is what will make me visit this joint frequently.
When it comes to Mexican food, which I lust for, all that matters to me is the quality, quantity and that the food should be served piping hot. This place gave me everything I was looking for. I dearly wish two things from this place:
1. They run full time.
2. It becomes a dine-in, so that I don't have to keep my eager tummy waiting till I get home and hog the gorgeous food.
This restaurant opens only on Saturday and Sunday from 6 pm onwards. It is run by Indian American couple who do it as a part of their hobby and run it from their home. It is only a take away place. The food was one of the best Mexican food I ever had and probably my best food experience in Vadodara till date. The moment you enter this place you will feel as if you have entered some American Mexican cafe. I had burrito, soft taco and quesadilla. All of them were just amazing.
I wish they were running this full time! This is the best Tex-Mex I've had in India in a while, metros included! The moment you step inside this place, you know that they're running it out of interest, not to make money. The food is delish and pretty reasonable. They make everything from scratch and is always fresh. Their tortilla chips are the best! If you request at least 24 hours in advance, they'll also make Jain items. I love their nachos, burrito and quesadilla.
Paco is always fun to talk to and while you wait for your food, he won't let you get bored. The only drawback of this place is you have to book in advance to avoid disappointments. Since they only make food on Sat and Sun and want to ensure it's fresh, they make it in limited quantities. Being as popular as they are, they run out of it within am hour of opening, if not less! If you're in town during the weekends, do not miss this place! I wouldn't be surprised if love is one of their secret ingredients!

Tried their Grand Nachos , Soft Tacos , Enchilada, Quesedillas n Fajitas.
They have awesome gourmet Mexican sauces for Enchiladas n Other items. Make sure you place an order on the phone before going & timings are 6 PM to 10 PM only.
Constructive Criticism -:
* All items tested bit similar due to repetitive sauces .. little sweet n tanginess can be added in Grand Nachos n few other items.
* Also Dessert options are missing.

About mexican food : Well if you are new to mexican food then you may need to give this a few shots. The taste will take some time to develop . The Food maintains the real authenticity of the mexican food. No Indian Masalas and that is what makes it different. You can taste each and every single thing stuffed in the item. Because of the lesser amount(no amount) of masalas you can taste the real thing inside it. Mexican food feels great in stomach.One Burrito and You are good to go for the day. The value for the food is up to the mark. Its the best mexican food in Baroda.
About the restaurant : The couple who serves over there are not doing a business for making money instead they work for their passion . They love what the do and thats what makes them unique , they not only give u good quality food but they also treat you as a family. It is best for takeaways.
Personal Experience :I go their almost every weekend and they treat me as one of their own. And if you are a foodie like me, Sir prakash loves to talk about authentic food...He can go for hours haha..

Anybody searching for proper authentic Mexican food,this is the place to go to.. Expecially NRIs and people food of a foreign cuisines, this is for you. I've had stuff in taco bell in India and I don't even think that comes close to authentic Mexican. I would really suggest this place. The best in baroda without a doubt
I have been to salsa habanero and taken up a take-away package. I had burritos, quesidallas. They were amazing and so authentic. And the couple is very cute and sweet too...someday i must steal their salsa recipe...

My wife wanted to try this ever-since she discovered good reviews of this place on TripAdvisor. We finally managed to get a chance the week-end before Diwali.
This week-end restaurant is run by an NRI couple (Rita and Prakash) as a hobby rather than a business. The restaurant is open only on Saturday and Sunday from 6 PM to 10 PM.
You have to place order as early as possible as there is a high chance of food getting out of stock. As per my conversation with Prakash, they prepare limited material and from scratch. Even sauces are prepared by them. They do not advertise and solely rely on word-to-mouth publicity.
I really appreciate their friendliness, hygiene standards and service. Placing the order and pick-up was smooth. They do final preparation once you reach there to pick-up the order. For my order it took less than 15 mins. and during that had a good conversation with Prakash.
Now coming to my order, we went for Burrito Fajita (160), Cheese Enchilada (200), Soft Tacos (110), Burrito Beans Rice (130), Nacho Grande (160). We liked Nachos the most. Enchilada comes as ingredients and final preparation is to be done at home (FB video link present on their website) to avoid taste degradation. The non-Indianised Mexican is very balanced in taste and flavor.
The total Rs. 760/- for 4 people, combined with higher hygiene standards and fresh ingredients puts this place high on value for money chart.
It's a part-time restaurant owned by a NRI couple.

The most authentic Mexican in town. Though the menu is limited, food never disappoints. We have been regular there for more than 6 years now.
Note that it's take-away only and available only on weekend evenings. You have to pre-book as most of the time it gets sold out pretty quickly.
One of the best parts is the couple Prakash and Rita. Super nice and friendly. I love to hear their travel stories and they are more than happy to share while they prepare your food.

I heard a lot about the couple who makes great mexican food ! After struggling through 3 consistent weeks, I finally had a chance to order something on call.
After that when I went down to pickup the order, I was surprised with the hospitality and overall ambience of the place. It felt out of the world. Talking about food, it was finger licking good !

Nice home cook food experience. out of four ordered items, more or less were having similar tastes with couple of ingredients changed. probably my expectations were very high after reading reviews here and tested local cuisine in Tizayuca.

This is the place you have to be at on the weekends if you want to have great simple mexican food. Rita and Prakash, the owners are really nice and make such delicious food that you will, no doubt, be coming back for more every weekend. It is best to order as much in advance as possible so as to get your order before they are sold out for the weekend. Their encheledas, burritos, quesadillas and salsa is very highly recommended.

I havent seen more passionate owner. After having Mexican food at few other places I had given up on it.
But one chance discovery of Salsa Habanero turned me to a big fan.
They use freshest ingredients and make everything from scratch.
GIven that the owners have spent a good amount of time on USA's west coast they have learned quite a bit about the Cuisine and they are doing great service to Barodian food scene.
Do note that the place is a take away only joint and is open only on weekends for dinner service.
You will be advised to call in advance and book your order because on most nights they are sold out!
Yum!!! Is the only word I have for its food. No preservatives, only veg and best quality ingredients at most affordable prices. You hardly get such a great food in Baroda.

Vadodara's only Pure Mexican food Kitchen... They have real test of Mexican food. They don't have many more options but you definitely find something very good from their limited menu. It's also not so costly or upscale so everyone can visits.
Wonderful food!!! Mr. Prakash patel and his wife are very friendly and the atmosphere is very mexican. Best take away i have had so far. Authentic mexican food. The passion of Mr. Prakash for food is amazing. Would always want to go again.
