Govinda's is my favorite place to have homely gujarati food experience, even more homely then home itself. The food is very good and the ingredients used are of premium quality. The ambience is very pleasant, the hygiene is excellent and the staff is extremely courtois. Really impressive.
Outstanding and authentic Gujarati food, fully mechanized kitchen, spartan clean and personalised service. Organic ingredients, fresh ghee from in-house cows, specious and well laid out dining area. Bang for Buck.
Govinda,s restrau peace , taste, service,thalis system, authentic gujju thali , wuth some sweetness, hygenic ,staff is very good, food is very tasty feels like home, best best best!!

Govinda's is definitely a must visit. The sanity and ambience are definitely worth enjoying at this place. One of the places where I will come to have food and feel wholesome with entire hospitality experience.
A moderatly crowded place to have authentic gujju thali with a small touch of Punjab. Most of the dishes served in the thali were made like a gujju likes ( with sweetness ) but few Punjabi dishes were added to make non gujjus comfortable.
Perfect in all aspects when it comes to taste. Don't go if you are looking for something spicy.

If you are looking for gujurathi thali in particular, then look no further. This palace serves thali which is huge and delicious. Situated inside the ISKCON Baroda temple (right side of main gate), it costs Rs. 250 per thali only.
Opened recently on 27 March'16 after one year of renovation as informed by the manager, the ambiance is nice and certainly there is some kind of spirituality in the atmosphere. Hospitality is good and aamras is too good. Try it..
Authentic food . .. 240 /- thali is worth... 4 types of chappati / sabji.... Roti , rice, Khichidi was so smooth can't explain such a spiritual experiences...

I am not a very religious person. So i was naturally apprehensive to go to a restaurant thats inside a temple. But govidas aint like that. They serve one of the best gujarati thalis i have ever had. Very courteous staff and good service. And no punjabi influence. Truly gujarati.
Great thalis! Just keeps me asking for more. Each and every item on the plate is delicious and the ambiance and environment really gives a sense of Gujarati and Hindu culture, and is really pleasant. The taste is amazing, so is the service, which is really quick, as it should be. The traditional feel is really a welcome diversion from the modern surroundings of most restaurants.

You get greeted when you enter with smile and namaste with hare Krishna .. the food quality is simply gujarati with good authentic gujju taste.. No Onion garlic but you won't miss it....The service is very good..Food here is rightly called Prasad..because after having it you are fulfilled no only by stomach but by your mind.. the price for 1 plate unlimited thali is 300 rupees. Parcel service available.. the atmosphere is peaceful with design and photos of lord Krishna. We love it. Furniture is special made like sankheda made from lakhh.

The dining hall is quite spacious and has good seating arrangements. Food is served within short time and is further served periodically. This is only veg food restaurent and no snacks are separately. Waiters are polite and humble.Wash room is clean and has separate basins.This is not recommended for disabled.

More than 17 varieties (no onion, no garlic) you will get in thali.
4 sabji, Dal, Kadhi, Aam Ras, 2 Farsan, 1 sweet, chatny, Pickle, papad, chhash, Rice & Khichdi, Puri & Roti for Rs.300/- per person.
Service staff is very well trained and polite.
They all were in Indian traditional attire. Very frequently they will come to you, ask you & will serve you what you need.
One very unique thing i observed there is, staff were talking to each other in code words. Suppose person came to you to serve you a roti and you asked for Aam ras. He will snap and give signal with a fingers to his fellow serving staff & within no time without uttering a singal word, person will come with Aam ras to serve you.
So overall it was a great experience!! It is a must visit place.
Very good place for the vegetarian food and in the time of janmashtami there is Special food for fasting and the food is very good.The special way of treating the food and serving the food is so good the special sabhu dhana ki wada, the cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant is next level and the serving style is so good.the seating arrangement is very nice and can accommodate huge no of people at a time. One special is that sitting arrangement is very traditional way and looks like you are staying in maharajas mahal.

A very nice restaurant with good ambience and great food. I have been here quite a few times and the food here is always upto the taste. The management and staff is very friendly and helpful.
