My Colleague and I were craving to eat some Chinese food. We have tried the food at another Chinese restaurant but found it on the higher side. That left us with an option to eat at a roadside ChineseStall. As we didn't want to compromise on the hygiene, We decide to go to New Alka, which is a short ride away from our office. The ambience is basic, not much show-sha at all. Since we knew what we wanted, we decided on Paneer Chilly Dry and Chinese Bhel. I wanted to order more, but the waiter advised that this was enough and we shouldn't order more food as it will get wasted. When our order arrived, turns out he was right. Sufficient quantity of Paneer Dry with Chinese Bhel was more than enough for both of us. I was surprised to see the Chinese Bhel with rice and Crispy noodles as its different from what they serve in Mumbai. Having said that, this is definitely my favourite Chinese Bhel now.Β And the amount we paid for satisfying our cravings and going back to the office with our tummy full, was very economical.
The food was very tasty. the sabji was very fine cooked and the taste was very mind blowing so just wanna say that I would recommend to order from this restaurant.
The food quality and price is good but I asked for manchurian gravy and was served dry manchurian.! others things are fine specially paneer chilly very good

So just want to tell everyone that the manchurian noodles of new alka restaurant is very yummy and people need to try it once.So fresh and delicious.
This is one of the popular restaurants in Baroda and known for its quality of food and service. And the restaurant stands by this perception of it's customers. The food of all cusines are delicious. The food had a desi flavour. For eg. The Chinese food will be desi chinese. The restaurant could however do with better ambiance and quicker service. The last time I visited this place, the food took 1.5 hours to arrive and it came at the moment my family had decided to leave the place.
Paneer Chatpata, Cheese garlic naan, Dal fry and Jeera rice. I tried just these 4 things, and everything turned out to be really good. Next time if some guest comes home, I will parcel this paneer subzi again.
The place is nice. In fact very nice. We prefer it over other places, because of its better and economical pricing when compared to other places.
My personal favorite is, Paneer. And the Biryani is also very nice. The way they serve the Biryani, in pots, it looks great. And even in taste, it's fantastic.
I have also tried Chole, and they had the perfect combination of spices and taste.
The Dosa which is served their, almost takes you to South India if you eat, with your eyes closed!

Ordered stuffed paratha, it has been my favourite since months , I tried Veg noodles soup this time and doesn't find that much good, felt like noodles boiled with vegetables mixed in water. Good for sick persons with less spices and oil. But Veg Manchow soup is good.
