Went for a party there. Food was good especially the Veg Biryani. Never had a one like that plus we tried a new dish with curd and imli chutney with namkeen.
We had a baby shower function in Chhappanbhog banquets... Service, food quality, banquet all r fine except the decorater.. He is not so friendly person . Anything you ask he said not possible or it will cost separately.. His prices r higher than market price too .
This is one of the good restaurant in Vadodara. Well maintained. The quality of food was very good. and varieties of food was very large. This place serves great Gujarati thali. Their buffet service is quite good and the prices are very reasonable. The thali has sabji, roti, salad, papad and a sweet dish. Should try this once. Good buffet Gujarati food available here. Overall good taste and verities of Gujarati items are available here.

We ordered a few mini meals from this restaurant and we were really happy with the handling & packaging. Food was warm till the time we didn't open the package.
We ordered the following mini meals :
Undhiyu and jalebi: This meal had undhiyu which was not very spicy and came with sev on the side and amazing jalebis
Chhole kulcha : Chhole were the black pindi chhole cooked in North Indian style. Kulche were soft. Chhole tasted better upon heating in microwave.
Paneer tikka masala and rotis : Rotis were good , just like we get with Gujarati Thali. Paneer Tikka was okay.
Biryani and Raita : Biryani was not very spicy either. It was good but the Raita was best, it was the way we prefer.
We also ordered a family pack which had two sabji, Dal & rice, rotis, one farsan and two desserts.
Pricing is not on a higher side and we recommend to give it a try.
The simplicity of the place is it's USP. Besides the food they serve is purely and authentic Gujarati in taste. It's a must visit for people who love the gujarati cuisine.
We tried a fixed thali, Aam ras, Chole kulcha and Basundi..............
The taste was simply yummy and the plus point is the ambience and the staff both cool and calm makes it my favourite restaurant of Vadodara and will definitely visit again.
I'm from South very often I eat Gujarati food but this restaurant made me love Gujarati food. I must say "mane ahiya nu jmvanu bahu gamyu😃".
And staff is also good here.

I had chhapanbhog's lunch today,and it was really superb.
The best thing about chhappanbhog is the varieties tht they offer in sweets and farshan.
Bdw I would like to mention that quality is always up to the mark and best among all.
