When are you started of Lop..... And Yezdi D 250 string...
Chicken was cooked well, tender with great flavour. Quantity serves two comfortably with consistently sized chicken pieces without compromising quality. Keep up the good work team@lop !!
I must say everything we ordered was amazing. I am eager to try the non veg menu of this place too . I tried khadai paneer and it was lit with butter rotis and in dessert we tried rasmalai and it was great too . I agree to the fact it is a bit expensive but this price range is common in Vadodara now so never mind.
For the authentic food in town its the best place
No matter veg or non veg both are worth craving for
Exactly a year ago we visited and had few things which has the same taste even today!
Paneer garlic masala tops the list including jalebis and cheese naan
Oh wow What a delicious food! Such finger licking food I never had before. After finishing the mean I was so happy and already recommended most of my friends.
The place is good. The ambience was quiet decent. Had a fantastic time. Only problem was the noise. There lot of chaos everywhere. It's part problem of crowd as well as the management. This was the case on weekday. I can't even imagine how it would be on weekend.
Going to food quality, loved it. Shorba, the paneer starter were also good. Since the quantity is very subjective I won't comment much on it. For me and my family the quantity was more than sufficient. Definitely will visit again.
This is one of the best place in town if you are looking for superb punjabi menu with punjabi style ambience. We order paneer lababdar which tasted really great. It comes with big pieces of paneer, of course true to its name and with decent quantity of gravy too. The butter naan we ordered was also very soft and buttery to its taste. Bit high on price but quantity plays good role in balancing it with price. Overall value for money, best ambience and great place for dine out.
The chat counter here is outside the restaurant giving you a feel of street food in the utmost hygienic way. Certain of watering your mouth is Pani puri served in tubes...also another great desert to try here is hot and crispy freshly made jalebis served with chilled rabid!! #musthave
Punjabi food was beyond excellence. Ordered Dal dhabewala & cheese kofa and specified to cook a bit more spicy and it was cooked perfect. Will surely visit again..
Coming back to my hometown after traveling for 2 long months, I was craving to have some desi khaana. So here’s where we landed to attack on some desi Punjabi food. Well, I must say, I was impressed by this North Indian diner.
Ambience :
What a lovely decor! It’s such a colourful and peppy place, radiating a very lively and chirpy vibe. The entrance door is interestingly done, with colour tinted glasses, taking you back to some fancy dhaba in Punjab. As soon as you step in, your eyes are treated with a riot of colours. The walls are eye-catching with varied paintings and filmy lines. Old, rusted, copper vessels were hung on some of the walls, beautifying them even further.
Food :
• KADAI PANEER : A delicious preparation of Paneer in brown gravy, accompanied with pieces of capsicum and onions. The paneer was really soft and fresh. The gravy was perfect in consistency and thickness and had a buttery taste with a very inviting aroma. The spice level was on point.
• DAL MAKHANI : I enjoyed every bite of this dal makhani. It was flavoursome, garnished with fresh cream. It was delectable and creamy.
• ALOO PYAAZ KE PARATHE : Crispy Paratha stuffed with tasty stuffing of aloo and pyaaz mixture. Was a 7/10.
• BUTTER ROTI : Crispy butter roti, served hot.
• JALEBI : The presentation of this dessert was quite impressive! It arrived in a train miniature. The jalebis were nice, being crispy, but a little too sweet. The rabadi was yum!
• MASALA BUTTERMILK : Salty masala chaash, garnished with coriander.
Service :
The service was pretty good and prompt. The servers were friendly, polite and courteous.
Overall, I had a great experience at LOP. My punjabi food cravings were surely satiated.
Ambience : 4/5
Food : 4/5
Service : 4/5
Overall : 4/5
This is one of those amazing restaurants in town with excellent interiors and superb food. I haven’t tried any of the veg dishes but it is a bliss of non-veg lovers. The staff is friendly and cheerful. 5 stars on any day !
Another Punjabi restaurant in Vadodara that fully maintain the real meaning of punjabi zaika...and yes, it's become best with sincere staff. "Jalebi" MUST TRY
If you are looking for spicy punjabi food with colourful vibrant ambience, Legends of Punjab is the ideal place for you in Vadodara. We had keema mutter, keema paratha, galaouti kebabs and jalebi rabri. Food was good to taste and rich. Ambience is very lively, service quality good.
Amazing food.. Just lyk home
Restaurant has good and unique interior. My review is based on veg food only. We had the hara bhara kabab and bhatti ka paneer for starters and both were great. Bhatti ka paneer was mouth watering. Tried paneer lababdar and Nizami handi for the main course and both are worth trying. Had a little issue with service but overall it was a good experience.
The ambience was eye catching the food was just awesome we ordered parathas, panner tikka and Punjabi lassi which I loved the most and best dessert I ever had here hot jalebi with cold rabdi and gulabjamun
The food taste was good and ambience also nice
Just parking issue and little bit heavier on ur pocket
Awesome Food, Nice Jalebis, Cream Crowd, Courteous Polite Service........
Unique Interior......
And YES Yezdi for social networking.... 😁
Worth going again and again specially for Yummy Jalebis
I recently had food at LOP and I would say it was a great visit.. all setup and ambience of local punjabi or say Desi interior which is eye catchy. The essence of every restaurant is it's food and I am quite impressed with food. It serves varied options in punjabi cuisine which taste great. I don't know if it's authentic since I never visited Punjab. I quite loved the food.. I ordered chicken and it was great.. tender and tasty at the same time. It was juicy chicken.. my journey ended with lovely dessert.. it was quite a sin but it was worth it.. Jalebi with rabdi and another was stuffed kesar pista gulab jamun.. overall the food was yummy..
My only issue was commotion.. the noise created by other customers or guest...
Loved the food here, and the service is great even while catering to a large crowd. The ambience is just an add on! Definitely worth waiting for a table here.
The food and the ambience is great. The staff is cooperative and very friendly. I am vegetarian hence just tried the vegetarian food, it was just amazing. If you visit then do try the jalebi and the starters, also the chats they were fantastic.
Amazing service amazing food ❤️ amazing delecious food amazing beautiful interior so much authentic but small costly great response ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Colourful , welcoming interior with polite staff can't stop u from entering this place.
And once u hold menu card in hand you can't stop ordering the food.
The spices we're quite balanced in every item. The place has a good taste of food from Punjab.
No food is complete without sweet. Jalebi was quite crispy and combination with rabdi was well balanced.
Loved the food ❤ Probably the best place for Punjabi food in the town at present! The food plus the delicious chats are super awesome. Keep it up!
A good place to have Punjabi cuisine with a quirky and a "dhaba" feel interior. The waiters were polite and patient and the music was not too loud either. Had butter chicken, paneer tikka, paneer butter masala, lassi, and jalebi with rabdi. Loved the food!
Ambience: 4 star
nice vibe to the place.. All vibrant n colortul.. lot of catchy lines to make u feel like a highway dhaba.. it has confortable sitting. They play fantastic music that goes well with ambience and theme of restaurant
Service: 4.5 Star
The staff is very courteous and prompt.. orders are served within quick time and they are nice people.
Food: 3.5 Star
Menu is very precise and to the point (liked it much.. unlike your regular joint offering 50 paneer dishes which are almost same)
The Bhatti da Paneer was good.. would prefer it more on softer side..
Cheese Kofta has nice texture and gravy complemennted well.
Unfortunately they ran out of Dal Makhani so we had to opt for Dal Tadka and it was nice (a bit diff but on good side with thin consistency and whole gram with prominent flavour of Curry leaves)
Their Patiala lassi is your regular lassi (Patiala word being a expectation of that giant tall glass.. ) also it was not cold and without asking they added the rose syrup. you can inform them while ordering if you don't need any such syrup
I am looking forward to visit again to try Dal Makhani n some other dishes to discover this place more.
if you order the
Impression and Awesome Experience at this newly opened outlet at Alkapuri in Vadodara...
The interiors are super fascinating with colourful walls and Punjabi themed space...
Village styled copper cutlery and of course nevertheless music at the backdrop was full power.
Dim shades and colourful walls with Punjabi slogans painted on the wall stole the whole show...and has pulled off the vibe quite perfectly..
While, I visited this place for lunch, the place is ideal for dinner plans..
Ambience : 5/5
Food : 5/5
Service 5/5
Taste & Quality : 4/5
The only thing I didn't like is the location where it is situated...hard to catch attention...
Otherwise, a hidden gem in Alkapuri is all i would say!
#honestreviewskonly
Superb food with authentic North Indian taste...gives the feeling of Punjab by taste as well with the ambience...love to visit this place number of times and last but not the least great service by the staff...
The Ambience is alot like Mirch Masala!
The Manager, Mr. Tej was helpful and so was the Staff who helped us decide the order. They adviced best of their dishes which were:
1.Non-veg Platter: it had 3 pieces each of chicken tikka and fish tikka. It had two pieces of tandoori chicken and chicken bhel in place of mutton shekh kabab. I liked the chicken tikla and fish tikkas in it. The platter was spicy overall.
2.Paneer Tikka: It was good!
3. Dhabe wali Dal: it was very good in taste.
4. Kali Mirch Chicken: thought it would be spicy but it was not that spicy. It was still good in taste.
5. Jalebi with rabdi: last but not the least was the dessert! Jalebi were big and crispy just like that of Mirch masala's. They served it on a Train engine model which was a unique presentation!
Sorry but i did not click pictures.
So, I have been craving fish curry and rice (like my Punjabi mother used to make) since a loooooooooooooonng time, and since it takes hard work and our busy schedules get in the way, we decided to explore Legends of Punjab. Spot on in flavour, no extra spice or oil and beautiful plain rice for accompaniment! The starter included Afghani tangdi kebab and we were left licking our fingers. It was super tender chicken and well marinated. Having read a lot about their sinfully indulgent Jalebi and Rabdi and Gulab Jamun, we indulged as well and lo and behold, we were over the moon. Such perfect ambience, that it took me back to the highway dhabas and Dadi's kitchen, alert staff and lip smacking food! Thank you LoP for making our Sunday beyond Awesome! We couldn't resist saying "God bless this place!" between bites. The spice quotient was kid friendly and so our 6 year old was happy as well :) You need to be a Punjabi to understand the flavours here, generally restraunts across the country have a completely different (abberant) concept of what Punjabi food actually is. At LoP food is authentically Punjabi like ghar ka kitchens! Thank you LoP for letting me relive the taste without having to cook!
very tasty biryani, I love it
It was a Monday evening when I visited.
Expected it to be less crowded but it was totally packed up.
We were asked to wait on the first but than they took us in.
From Fancy walls, Lightened Tires, props to chairs everything was damn colourful. I loved the fact that they’ve kept the punjabi impression and vibes alive.
Coming to food; We thought of starting with lassi and bang! It didn’t disappoint us.
Than coming to starters; Paneer Paratha & Pudina paneer Tikka was a total experimental type but it was good! I loved the paneer quality being so soft & yumm.
Than ordered main course of Paneer methi masala which is their speciality and was a little in doubt because methi isn’t my choice but the waiter encouraged us to try since it doesn’t have much flavour of methi & paired it up with loads of cheese naan.
I loved naan but I wonder why the quantity of cheese fluctuated in every piece? I had the thicker one thou’ :P
And we didn’t have space for dessert but the Jalebi platter looked so tempting.
May be I visit it next time just to have those?
Went to Baroda fr 2 days so went to this restaurant . Amazing food, polite staff, great ambience, parking available too.. must visit. U wil enjoy ..
Excellent food. The prawns are a must have. The flavours along with the atmosphere and the bright and lively interiors transports you to the heart of Punjab in just a bite. If you enjoy good non veg then you cannot miss out on this place.
Food is nice and spicy. Didn't enjoy the soup but liked the starters, main course and the desserts. The dishes carried a good taste of punjabi cuisine and were a good experience.
A special mention to be made about the #Jalebi which was fantastic and served hot along with fresh #rabdi. Loved the presentation of the food.
The only negative point was the slow service. We had to wait for a considerable amount of time for the food items.
Overall, the ambience gives a good Punjabi feel and flavours in gujarat and carries a good name in the area. Do try the #Jalebi if you are going here.
LOP is a project by Pepperazzi. My review should end here. It was a Sunday evening and was healthily crowded.
1st look:
North Indian food milega
Ameer logo ka mirch masala
However the concept is based on mirch masala this is more towards "horn okay please" theme than bollywood
The ambience is good. The service was good and the staff was well trained.
The food was good too.. the gobi paratha was a bit spicy for me. The butter chicken was great, I have been told.. ( u can never trust a chicken lover for honest reviews)
Do whatever but do not order crispy Aloo chat EVER!
All in all a good menu for u to atleast go multiple times. Panipuri is of Rs.154
Not a date place but a good group place if u all decide for punjabi.
Not so much pocket friendly
Quality food
Quantity Good
Taste one of the best
Ambience Good
Staff friendly
One of the top rated restaurant in town
The ambience, staff, taste, quality was up to the mark. The restaurant is just awesome and perfect place to chill around with family and friends. We ordered Paneer Methi Garlic For main course and it’s out of the world. Superb!!!
Awesome food and Ambiance... we had ordered for Tandoori Broccoli for starters which was very well marinated and cooked . Later for main course we had Paneer Lababdaar and Garlic cheese naam which was very yummy....
Must try
Recommended for really Punjabi food lover
Excellent food with the authenticity of Punjabi flavors that burst into your mouth. Such amazing gravy and the non-veg is exquisite with good service and also very polite staff. Would love to go there again and again as the taste is mesmerizing.
Had wonderful food, authentic punjabi cuisine, awesome interiors. We had orderd for paneer lababdar, bhatti ka paneer, garlic cheese naan, veg hyderabadi biryani. Anytime this place is for food lovers.
awesome food loved the food
Good ambience and food too.
Interior is awesome and tasty authentic taste of panjabi khana. Friendly staff and service is good. Best option for the panjabi food in baroda.
Must try - paneer butter mashala, Palak paneer, chicken kali mirch, Keshar rabadi and jalebi
Great atmosphere with Punjabi theme....food was excellent but on costlier side ! 20-30 minuets of average waiting so spare some extra time or book in advance!
I loved this place!!! Courteous staff, lively interiors, and the food was lip smacking delicious. We ordered chicken methi garlic masala, roti, masala garlic naan and masala chhas. Everything was perfect. The best part was that the chicken was soo soft!!!! ❣️❣️❣️
Visited this place with friends. Nice ambience. Food is quite expensive. They have very limited options in menu but taste was good. Tandoori items was perfectly cooked. Service was quick staff was polite. Ample space available for parking. Can be recommended to friends but frankly speaking cant visit this space often because it is expansive.
Its has the BEST BUTTER CHICKEN!!! If you ever visit this place, first order this. You will not regret it. One of the best butter chicken in Vadodara.
ambience is really exciting and happening typical punjabi food really tasty and nice but bit heavy for the pockets and prices are too hight...service was nice and quick.. once with family or friends visit can be done..
Ambience is great!! If u want to have authentic punjabi cuisine, LOP is the place... the staff is polite n really nice... we tried hariyali fish tikka in starters which was delicious! Then we ordered railway mutton curry with garlic cheese naan and it tasted superb.. at the end, we cannot do without dessert.. we had jalebi and rabdi which was the best!! So to conclude one of the best place in baroda to have both veg as well as nonveg punjabi food!! Must visit with ur friends family colleagues and everyone!
Food is amazing, ambience is too good . No wonder is on the higher side. But surely a satisfactory experience. Loved the colorful wall with tyre hung. Service was fine.
For main course we had butter garlic naan which came in with large portions and dal makhni! Yum yum
Do visit for special occasions with family!!!!
Well let's start the review with the starters, starters here were very delicious although I won't recommend hara bhara kabab, and then coming to the main course veges are delicious and you must try kulcha here. The double dal fry was also piquant for those who have spicy and tangy taste buds.
This restaurant is costly but at the same time the ambiance is inflammable. You must try it out with your crazy friends....
The interior is breathtakingly beautiful. Great ambience and hospitality. The staff is too welcoming. And the food! Its delicious! Except for the fact that it is expensive, but totally worth it! Try the 'delhi chat' and 'jalebi-rabdi' here, its yum! ☺️
Amazing food and ambiance. The place offers authentic punjabi food. The taste and all is amazing my personal favourite was the fish you all must try. Also the chat menu is quite interesting. A bit high priced. It gives you feel of eating in Punjab as the utensils they serve and the plates and all are made of tamba and pretty heavy. The interior is well done. Washroom is pretty clean. And the staff is very helpful. Surely would recommend it.
I love this place ...
I started with harra bhara kabab and ordered shorba for soup.
We went for the lucknowi sabji for main course and laccha paratha.. they certainly know what they are making and offer very courteous services to their customers.
The name is enough legends of panjab. Only panjab food here and food quality and quantity is such a great and they give us bill in very unique style and two disadvantage of this restaurant is veg. And nonveg. Is mix and waiting is so much. But overall price wise quality and quantity they gave us so one time must visit and try panjab food in this restaurant.
Good place to try authentic punjabi food. Food recepies are really originated and inspired by local punjabi food. As I have experienced punjabi food in Jalandhar and Amritsar, I must say you can find very less difference. Must try dishes are Afgani Tagdi Kabab, LOP special chicken curry and Authentic Butter Chicken. The Ambience is very awesome and based on Punjabi Village and their Punjabi Transport themes. I am keeping one star because they are little over priced. Rest is if you are planning for a good food hook-up then this is your place.
You'll get some of the best Punjabi food here in Vadodara. Do not miss to try the 'Chicken Kali Mirch', it'll leave you asking for more.
It was my first time here and i was amazed by the ambience at the first go.Then coming to the important part FOOD?
In starters we ordered panipuri, samosa chaat, veg platter and nonveg platter. Other than panipuri all the starters were very tasty. The chicken was also perfectly cooked and was tender. For side drinks i took virgin mojito and it was pretty good too. Moving on to the main course we ordered dal makhani mix veg and paneer in green gravy(sorry i can't recall the names). And all of it tasted heaven. The food was medium spicy just how I like it.Ending it with a sweet note we had gulabjamun and rabdi which also tasted amazing.
Overall i had a 5⭐ experience. Food, ambience,staff everything ♥️⭐
Food was nice. Ambience was nicer. Staff was friendly. I would recommend people to try it out once for sure.
Most delicious North Indian cuisine in Vadodara. The staff is very polite and responsive, mouth watering preparations of veg and non veg food with nice ambience. The only point to be improved is the loud music which is played at restaurant.
A very nice place to have punjabi cuisine in vadodara...found a bit expensive but taste was worth spending money.. Not only food but interior was great too. The interior will give you proper feeling of Punjab. One thing I disliked was parking facility. There was not a single security guard to guide customers where to park, one of us had to go to the restaurant to ask. Otherwise inside the restaurant, the staff is polite and good and the service is also fast enough.
Good food and great ambience. But feels like it's a bit overpriced.
Perfect place for foodies.
Loved this place.
Perfect ambience, excellent quality of food, if you are paratha lover then you should must try it. The pancharatna dal is too good.
The food was really very good, the aesthetics were also good. The Presentation of food was also catchy. All in all very great place for a pleasant dinner.
Amazing food.....And decoration is also too good...as per the name it self....
