Experimental food ordering went superb. The taste was great & authentic. Loved Vada & Idli both. However ws not satisfied with the quantity of Sambhar, it was way to less can only be with sufficient with 1&half vada. However the taste of Sambhar was Sambhar & not Guju daal 😜. Will surely visit the resto soon to add more taste.

Honestly, You can't get better Dosa in Vadodara than The Dosa Canteen. Authentic South Indian Cuisine made by SudeepJi is simply out of the world. And the Sambhar is so Tasty. They have 14=types of Chutneys...… If you seriously know what Original is then you must give it a try over Those Fusion Cuisines.
I was searching for pure south Indian food for a long time in Baroda since I was in Chennai for more than 1 year. The search ended with Dosa Canteen! They have one hell of a sambhar & chutney that matches what south indian's make.
Coming to the Dosa's, idli & vadai they are cooked to perfection. I am surely gonna keep coming back or order from Zomato.

A new place serving you authentic South Indian cuisine in the area . And the place is built well and has a stand and dine concept. About the service, it's pretty good as well with a good host (the owner). And finally about the food, the dosa served here are a must try for every one. The rice served here are just like made in the south indian homes. And Vada Sambhar is also very tasty.
This is the only place in Baroda that serves Chennai style Tamilnadu food. Tamarind Peanut Rice, Rava Dosa and Filter Coffee is my favourite. They make 12 types of chutney's and I've tasted over 9 in past few months.

We ordered the cheese onion dosa and plain dosa. The sambar is fantastic, not to mention the chutney quality and taste. Their kitchen is very clean and food is hygienic. Would definitely visit again with friends and family.
