We celebrated my wedding anniversary with our neighbors. We called ahead to make a reservation for ten people. The gujarati thali food is brought hot and in small portions... One doesn't even have to ask, the food keeps coming! Everything was tasty and prepared well. The wait staff wS polite and ever present with providing food. We ate to our stomachs' content and left extremely satisfied! I could eat here evryday!
Awesome atmosphere, Nice staff member and good coordination.
Good place to visit with family members.
Fully recommended place.
સરસ ગુજરાતી થાળી...price approx 330 per person.
A must visit if you are in Anand, Gujarat Amazing food, ambience and hospitality
If you are looking for authentic Gujarat thali. It's the best here
We had the opportunity to enjoy a Gujarati Thali at this establishment. On regular days, it's priced at approximately 330 rupees per person. The food was excellent. While it may be a bit more expensive than certain other places, the service and food quality were outstanding. It's worth noting that the owner only accepted cash payments, although the reason for this policy was unclear.
Looking for authentic gujarati home made food? Look no more, just stop by and enjoy menu of day. Eat in peace and assurance of no stomach upset, not over spiced. Well balanced food, made with love and passion to serve society. Highly recommended. Hygienic, and have something to satisfy your cravings.
Purohit Dining Hall is the place to go for traditional Gujarati thali. The dishes carry the personal touch of Mr. Bhanubhai Purohit, who has been cooking them personally for the last 45 years. He serves them with such energy defying his age.
Kadi and 1 veg sabji was good, roti was not soft , Gajar halwa was tasting like 2/3 days old. Have eaten better thalis in Anand than this.
Its simply awesome.. no one should ever judge it by listening "Dining Hall" its not any less than any AC restaurant.. food, service, behavior, atmosphere, cleanliness, comfort everything is wonderful..
I read through a lot of reviews where people left the establishment one star ⭐ ratings only because the owners are careful about food being wasted or not eaten completely .
The owners including the older male who might be roughly in his late 70's and the younger lady who might be roughly 37 to 40 are very adamant about food being wasted which imo there's nothing wrong about it .
Even though it's a unlimited quantity of food that comes with each thali(plate) and never once do they refuse to serve you another portion but for you to ask them for a large chunk of food at once and then you are not able to eat it or waste it is wrong . They serve small portions of each dish but always pay attention to your plate when empty and come over and ask you do you want anything else.
I rate this establishment very highly because in a country of 1.4 billion people out of which roughly 175 to 200 million people don't have enough to eat it's very wrong 😔 to waste food of any sort 😕 .
Price is roughly INR 220 for limited thali and INR 330 for unlimited quantity. Which roughly amounts to 4 dollars which itself is a insanely good price. Are there places around that are cheaper than that....yes but 😉 for the quality, service and sheer joy of eating very simple yet tasty food with a variety of choices does the trick for me
Very good and fast service.. Don't think of wasting any good. There is a talk by the captain before serving food . Overall was a great experience and very clean restaurant..
