A small but interesting hangout place for youngsters and travellers who prefer secluded and comfortable place for themselves.
A mix of continental, European and Chinese food for travellers.
Most of the furniture is recyctor upcycle using old wooden tables and chairs that are repainted with bright colors, and circulation space is enough for staff to move with plates and orders. It has a small TV area, a cluster for 20 people to dine together, as well as couple seating. It's equipped with ample space for group parties and celebrations.
As they have small concerts and recitals here, which is famous part of the stay with Banaras lifestyle.
This Cafe us unique as it has a social outreach program too. As they also raise funds for a special school where needy children as given quality education.
Apart from a school, they have an inhouse showroom of handmade/homemade or traditional organic products, with art and handicraft products available for sale.
Overall it's a great combination of soulful place with a meaningful network.
Fantastic salads made fresh to order. Spinach, papaya, pomegranate seeds, walnuts, lemon cracked pepper corns. Also had a nice spinach and mushroom burger and a lemon, cucumber and mint juice.
Our experience for dinner was great. Staff was very friendly, wide variation in food choice. Although we are non-vegans we liked all of it ! It was a great unexpected experience. I would advise this place to everyone.
A small improvement might be some more italian herbs for my pizza. But that would make it even more perfect !

This was our favourite restaurant in Varanasi (linked to the German bread bakery)! Great food. Nice environment. Lovely and helpful staff... And felt great to know the profit from restaurant goes towards funding projects to support Indian women gain work skills in fabric/garment making and a school for children. So happy to support projects like this, that do so much good 😊
Although it took a little while for the food to get to our table it was indeed quite delicious. We were told by the server that my food, a home made spinach pasta, had been prepared right up from its kneading and cutting to cooking and making the tomato sauce right there at the restaurant during our wait time, which sort of helped explain why the food appeared to take a bit long to get to our table. Our drinks, which included the lemon-mint-cucumber juice and the carrot-apple-ginger juice, were fresh out of a blender and refreshingly without extra flavours or spices, unlike some of the other restaurants we have experienced in India. The ambience was natural, calm for the eyes and as my friend described it, "slightly quirky"
Overall a relaxing place with a relaxing pace and great food. Highly recommend it if you're travelling to Varanasi.
The only one raw food and vegan restaurant in Varanasi nowadays.
Too awesome place too visit.
The staff know many langauge he frequently asked questions about ordering something.
Too much good food quality.
Not noticed from road.
Must visit once. I just love black coffee and here I got it here.
Most of the orders here available is continental breakfast and lunch. Sea food not available.
Mostly olive oil and many more items are available here..
Great selection, authentic outdoor setting while still being indoors. Not sure why the place has the name "Raw" Vegan, though. Didn't seem centered around raw food. Still, great prices for many items and there's even a pizza place next door that can you can place an order with the Vegan Raw crew—if I remember correctly.
Oh my lawd. The food here is amazing! So is the fresh juice. Big portions and if you can't finish it they have nifty chip packets to take your leftovers home in. Only drawback is the very slow service (think there was only 1 chef) so go if you have time to relax!
WOW!!!! Amazing vegan food!!! Save to eat salads here, we went several times while we stayed at the Brown Bread Bakery Guest House. Great Buffet for breakfast!!!! Check out the concerts in the evening, either classical Indian music or a special concert by music bands traveling through India.
Also at the Brown Bread Bakery Restaurant in Varanasi and Delhi they have a selection of vegan food, they are part of the same company and the profits are used to run the Learn for Life Badi Asha School in Varanasi which you can also visit for serving lunch.
Very nice, relaxed garden restaurant! Try the vegan breakfast buffet! the only restaurant where i eat raw salads!
They also arrange boat and walking tours to reasonable rates!
Same owner as the Brown Bread Bakery, the profits are used to run a school which you can visite
Food 5/5
Ambience 5/5
Service 4/5
Food was very good but need to have better trained staff.. The women doing the cooking was working hard along with the server, but I could tell the men needed more training... A manager on hand at all times would greatly increase productivity..lots of phone usage ..
But the food was really good
Fantastic place. Good bakery. Nice food. Friendly staff. All in all a good place to chill and eat away from the hubbub. The vegan breakfast is especially good!!
