This establishment is called 'Tickety Boo' by True Thomas (according to the menu) serving chai and dosas. We went multiple times and were not disappointed with the food. The malasa dosas were well spiced and ample in portion size. The mint garlic parathas were tasty and chai more-ish. The background music was generally nice and inkeeping with the relaxed ambience (there was a period of 'goa trance' on one occasion, but that was thankfully switched over haha) Overall good value for monehly and would recommend to anyone in Varkala!

Went there after reading the reviews. Sad that the restaurant true Thomas is no longer there. It's a different restaurant now. Anyway they had only dosa combinations. Which was quite heavy for a meal. Could not finish it. They'll have to bring more varieties. Wishing you the best.

Ambience 5* Food 5* Service 5* Value for money 5* Excellent experience. Food was delicious. The presentation was quirky and different. Service was very quick. Friendly staff and owner. The price was pretty decent. The only flaw was small sitting place. So would recommend booking in advance. Especially during weekends.

The best restaurabt in Varkala. Serve is grest. Fresh filtered wster free on every table. Beautifully decorated and so clean. Staff are incredible and the food is the best I have had in India. Veg Thali and Masala dosas are great, very cheap too! Their desserts are out of the world, sweet appam and Hello to the Queen are my favourites. They do great juices and, chai and turkish coffee too. Also wifi is fast and reliable.

We bumped into the owners of this cafe when we were taking pictures at the beautiful white walls n wooden furnishes. The people here were warm n welcoming. You will get all the authentic kerala dishes here! Heads up for 'puttu' ... And whats more exciting is that this cafe is pocket friendly.!! So stop waiting around and go and check out this place for yourselves. I promise you will have a feast of time! :')

A well built and managed cafe serving all kind of fresh juice, authentic kerala dishes and much more. Prices are so affordable but foremost the taste they serve is out of the world. I had an authentic fish thali (after being fooled by all the restaurant on the cliff WARNING:- none of the restaurant on the north cliff serve the authentic fish thali) and the thali was literally a wonder of dishes. Staff is too friendly n helping. Fish curry has all the aroma and flavours of fish in it which was mixed every well n served with the thali. Literally a worth visit cafe in varkala though its not on the cliff walkway.

If you are interested in architecture and design then you you should visit this. The way they have used space and lighting is gorgeous. The food is okay not great but it is a must visit place in Verkala for its aesthetics.

Staff were nice and the place was kitted out in a nice style. The food was good, lots of options for vegan as well. I had the mushroom masala, coconut rice, mo mos, pakora and they were all great. Only downside is there was a few really scuzzy and pretty boisterous Brits without tops on which kind of gave the place a bit of a touristy grimness.

The restaurant has a nice decor. I ate here few times during my stay on Varkala. Masala dosa, biryiani and hello to the queen were excellent. Sadly paneer was not tasty at all (not the sauce but the cheese itself). Great coffee and great south indian breakfast sets.

Rustic & beautiful. Good food. Glad I found this place. Visit here if you want to enjoy your meal away from the hustle bustle on the cliff.

Absolutely delicious food, I came there 3 days in a row and everything was great. Their thali is one of the best I had in India, you can ask for more rice without extra cost. Masala and curry were very tasty too. They have also variety of cold and hot drinks and serve fresh coconut water. Service is nice, sometimes you need to wait a bit, but they are quite busy, so it's totally understandable. Food and drinks come quite fast anyway, always fresh and well presented. What is more, it is not expensive, so you get great quality food in good prices. Do not miss it when you're in Varkala.

Good food, great ambience. Those of you travelling by car, take care. The road is very small. However there's a parking lot nearby.
