I had ordered 2 Aloo, and 1 paneer paratha through Zomato and my order was delivered with 1 Aloo paratha missing, so I called them and with no hassle whatsoever they took my address and had their staff deliver that 1 paratha. And those were worth every penny spent.

Great place...Lovely food...Nice management...Loved their sea food speciality...Kerala style surmai and Butter garlic prawns...Must visit for all food lovers...it's one hidden treasure in Vasai...!!

Situated near GG college, Ruchi's Bageecha is a gem of a place. The restaurant has an indoor AC seating as well as an outside seating area.
I've never been indoors but the tables outside are spaciously arranged with different heights. There are low seating tables for people who like to  chill and have their drinks comfortably with long conversations. And they also have normal heightened tables.

The ambience gives you a garden type of feeling with dim lights and plants around. They have a projector too for those who love to have some visuals along with their food. 

The service was the best thing about this place.  The staff members are very friendly, jolly and courteous. This quality is a very difficult thing to find nowadays.
When I entered this place, it was already packed and luckily I got a table for 3. The table however was too low to have dinner. On asking the staff for a new table, they immediately looked into this matter and got us a perfect table for having dinner.
This cordial nature of the staff seeing to our every need was indeed beautiful in its own way. They treat the customers very well. And no wonder people like coming to this place!

Coming to the food I had the following:

Pina colada (cocktail) :
I loved this cocktail from the very first sip to the last. The blend of rum and coconut cream takes you on a smooth ride of its own!

Mojito (cocktail):
The alcoholic taste wasn't so evident due to the lime and mint leaves. However it was quite refreshing.

Chicken koliwada-
Chicken koliwada is a dry dish with chicken pieces coated with a spicy covering. It is a good side dish to pair up with any cocktail or mocktail.

Basa fingers-
Have you ever tasted anything so yummy and crispy that you couldn't stop eating? Yes! I felt the same after eating basa fingers from Bageecha! The fingers are cooked to perfection with soft yummy fish coated in a crispy crunchy covering. The dip served alongside was totally unique from the ones normally served. It had pieces of black olives which made it even more delectable.

Malvani basa curry-
I usually don't order any curry items but I'm glad I did! The curry had a good amount of soft basa pieces. The Malvani curry was so yummy that I couldn't stop eating it! It had a garlic and kadipata twist to it which made it finger licking good!!
A must try!

Stuffed bombil-
This was the dish of the day which basically consisted of bombil stuffed with some masala. The masala had that punch of kadipata (curry leaves) that enhanced all the flavours in the stuffing. I strongly recommend all the seafood lovers to try this out.

Lemon coriander soup-
This soup was spicy 🔥 and delicious! The soup was made in a chinese style and contained small cubes of vegetables in it. The flavour of lemon was quite evident and with the spiciness of the soup, complemented it very well.

Fish cutlet:
The fish cutlet was quite dense with a generous filling of minced fish and seasonings. The outer coating was so crispy that I could literally feel the crunch in every bite. A must order dish!

Towards the end of our dinner we were served pan shots. I must tell you, this was the tastiest palate cleanser I've had. The minty flavour along with the pan essence was a good combination altogether.

Also they have a buffet lunch every Sunday with a variety of items like a welcome drink, soup, 2-3 starters and main course being served. Do try it out!

On the whole, I loved this place- the ambience, the staff and the food and would keep coming to try out all the items here!

Nice place to relax and spend time with family and friends. Good in taste. Finally a good place in Vasai where I don't need to burn a hole in my pocket to have good dinner and drinks with family.

Bageecha was the earliest fine dine restaurant in Vasai.
Due to some reasons it shut down a few years ago.
Recently I heard that it had reopened. So went there wit my friends.
It's been managed by ruchi restaurants now.

Bageecha was a well renowned restaurant during my childhood days. Had been there many times with family. But all of sudden it got shutdown making me dream about the food and experiences i had there. But a month back i saw many posters about the reopening of the place. I got excited for it. Made a plan to visit here with one of my frnd on last sunday. Loveld the lovely green entrance which leads to open dinning area. Continued for the a/c dinning. The interiors were pretty good. Classy tables, chairs & ambience loved it. Ordered for one Chicken Banjara Kabeb and Boneless Chicken Dum Biryani as we were only two of us. The staff was pretty humble and served us with some boiled black chana until we were served. Fresh and juicy chicken banjara kebabs made our eyes as well as heart to fall in love with it. They wer pretty good in taste. Then after some time they served us our biryani it was lovely not to spicy had just the perfect flavours. The place was so crowded as it was sunday but got cheerished with all my childhood memories. Awesome place Vasaikars.
